The concept of education is almost incomprehensible without teachers. The first memory of our school life for most of us is likely that of a teacher. It is often said that teachers are our second parents and it wouldn't be wrong to say so.

Teachers are our first guides.They teach us our first lessons. They are the ones who educate us about morals,ethics and the difference between right and wrong. They are the givers of knowledge. The way teachers teach us might create an interest in the subject.The activities that they organise are responsible not only for teaching us but also add some fun to the mix. Their reprimands might seem a little harsh but are always meant for our betterment.They never shirk from their duties. They are the ones who are responsible for moulding us into responsible human beings.

Like DNA, each teacher is unique. But one thing that is common is their desire to shape the future of the country. Teaching is one of the most thankless jobs. Teachers are some of the most hardworking individuals.Even when we have our holidays, they still work. Students come and go but a teacher is always there.Imagine how many years they spend teaching almost the same thing, correcting the same papers,doing the same tasks relentlessly. And they never expect a thing in return.

So we should always remember  that no matter how much we achieve, it is our teachers who are  primarily responsible for it. So always treat them with respect and gratitude.
