Not everyone is born with an inbuilt sense of self confidence. Sometimes it can be hard to develop confidence, either because of personal experiences have caused you to lose confidence or because you suffer from a low self esteem

Tips to build your self confidence

1. Look at what you've already achieved.

Make a list of things you've achieved so far. Whenever you do a good thing and feel so proud of you just include it in your list. You could have a glance of the list whenever you feel like low and thus you will get motivated. By doing so, you will gain your self confidence.

2. Think of things you are good at.

By remembering the things you are good at makes you feel comfortable and thus you will gain self confidence. For example, when someone says that you are not good at painting just think at those things in which you are good at like dancing, swimming etc

3. Set some goals.

Setting a goal is as mandatory as breathing. Without a goal you will not be having a clear picture of your journey. Everyone should have a goal and zeal to achieve it.

4. Make eye contact.

Having an eye contact in a conversation makes you confident. Many Psychologists say that while having a eye contact you could read the other person's mind.

5. Don't be overconfident.

Don't be too overconfident everything will fall apart in a matter of seconds. Having self confidence is better than having overconfidence.
