It is amazing how fast time flies when you're not looking, especially when you're actively avoiding not shaving for a month for No Shave November. But now that the month is over and the purpose of No Shave November must be achieved. Gather all the money you saved by not grooming your hair this month and donate them to the charity of your choice, whether it is cancer research or another worthy cause that you feel needs your money, that choice is up to you. Me, I'm going old school, donating to Prostate Cancer Fund, which is basically why the No Shave November thing came to be, a way to raise awareness about men's health issues, and prostate cancer only affects men.
That being said, the following list, including the one I mentioned above, are some organisations that can put your donation to good use and conduct active research to discover a cure for this completely unfair and deadly disease at the earliest.
To stay with the theme of donating to cancer research, the first three suggestions on this list will be related to cancer research organisations, whereas the other two will depend on what I personally believe should be most highlighted. I will also include a link at the end of the article where you can find a table with charitable organisations of different fields and their ratings. Simply pick one, visit their website and donate!
I would also like to add that donation is not mandatory but it would truly be a service to mankind if you consider doing so.
1. Cancer Research Institute:
Based out of New York, the Cancer Research Institute tackles all forms of cancer and has been a major contributor in the fight against cancer. Some of the best minds in the field work here, and they are working day and night to find a viable cure for this deadly disease.

2. Ovarian Cancer Research Fund Alliance:
I've literally seen people with Ovarian cancer waste away in front of my very eyes. The person who got it certainly did not deserve to go out like that. Ovarian cancer is not Leukaemia either, it is something much worse which often grows to insane sizes by the time the cancer ravages the body. I strongly urge readers to consider donating to this as well.

3. Pancreatic Cancer Action Network:
If you remember, Steve Jobs fell prey to this form of cancer near the end of his days.
Pancreatic Cancer eats away at your ability to produce digestive juices to break down your food and of course, is followed by rapid and unexplained weight loss and frequent stomach aches. I strongly suggest donating to this cause.

4. Child Rights and You - CRY
This NGO helps the forgotten and invisible children of the streets in India to get an education and build a future for themselves in a society that has all but forgotten them. CRY has been around for a long time, I remember seeing their advertisements as a young child and being terrified for the orphans of the streets because they did not have parents like me who would buy them ice cream. It has, since then, always been on my mind.

5. An Animal Welfare NGO:
There's plenty of animal welfare NGOs around the country for you to check out and possibly donate to, I'm dropping the link to Blue Cross Hyderabad since Blue Cross is a pan-India NGO that has been tackling animal issues for quite some time now. I'm familiar with quite a few Blue Cross Volunteers and I highly respect these people for their dedication to animals, especially abandoned dogs that are rehabilitated on their facilities and set up for adoption. There was this Great Dane once that had become untrustworthy of humans and wouldn't allow anyone to come near it, a great big sad dog licking the emotional wounds alone in the corner of Blue Cross's office. It was heartbreaking to watch.
