No More Tensions NEET Delayed By A Year!

No more tensions! A major relief to students and parents, as the ordinance, to delay NEET is signed by our President Pranab Mukherjee.

An Ordinance on National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) which is considered as the common test for medical courses was sent to Pranab Mukherjee on Saturday and after a discussion which lasted for half an hour with the cabinet members, Pranab signed the Ordinance.

At present MCI(Medical council Of India) has 398 medical colleges in its list out of which 215 are private medical colleges.

The exemption is only for the state government seats, government sources had said the state seats which are earmarked in the private medical colleges have also been exempted.

Different states earmark seats in several private medical colleges for state allowance so that students from one state can get seats in another state.

NEET has already completed the first phase and the second phase was scheduled on July 24.
