The world today has 546 nuclear plants generating electricity. There is also a prestigious power project SUPA built to the river Kalinadi taking place near Joida in Uttar Kannada District, Banglore Which almost generates 110 MW and transmitted to various parts of Karnataka.

Unfortunately, The most shocking thing is, the villages which are situated around the hydropower project in Uttar Kannada has never experienced any electricity till now and using it was a dream to the people in the village.

Four alumni from MS Ramaiah Institute of Technology (MSRIT), Bangalore have turned the dreams of hundred villagers into a reality.

Once these four students happened to visit the village in the month of February and were startled to see the condition of the village, they wanted to repair the situation and the livelihood of the villagers, so that they would lead a better life, with the help of an NGO near Joida these boys identified nine villages which were without electricity – Ghatakunang, Kukkutte, Kindale, Karanjee, Soulavali, Gowliwada, Sulavali, Khangaon, and Padshet.

Further, they surveyed, spoke to the people over there and selected two villages.

After the complete analysis, they came to a conclusion that Solar-based systems would be the perfect solution for these villages. They were facilitated by the Gram Panchayat on the last day of their journey.

Soon after completing our education, we hunt for jobs like any sane person would do. After handling some peer pressure and parental stress, we finally land one which is mostly a regular job and it'll fail to excite us after a month's time. But, there are some who chose the road less taken and followed their life passion. These individuals were not some mediocre students who were compelled to make a living differently. They were talented software engineers but yet they chose to say 'no' to a comfy office for they valued their dreams. To shed more light on them, they are directors who gave Telugu Cinema a fresh breath of life.

txt
rich_1459589862273

Did you engineers ever feel, you didn’t have an apt song to describe your feelings? All the emotions you feel in your daily life? Well. Here it is. And it’s perfectly titled as BAIGAN ME MILADIYA, from yet to be released movie AITHE 2.0. It’s a funny take on the engineering life in the country.

Yes, it perfectly projects the frustration of a regular engineering student. From internals to externals, from labs to college fests, it points out the TRUE feelings in 4 years of engineering. Being an engineer himself, writer/lyricist Kittu Vissapragada presented it in the best way possible.

AITHE 2.0, an intellectual thriller rotating around life of a group of engineers. Sharing the details about the project director of the film Mr. Raj Madiraju says, “At some point in time, I read a story of a couple of unemployed turning criminals and that’s how the thriller part came in. But I am not a pessimist to assassinate youngsters’ characters by turning them criminals just like that. So, I made them intelligent but rebels, hardworking but not smart.. Thus the entire engineering unemployed frustrated youth turning criminals takes a new angle altogether.

Kittu played a great hand for me in both dialogues and lyrics. His background of Engineering and unemployment and experience of working with Facebook, Google etc, has been a treasure for the film and we came out with some seriously hilarious instances. One such thing is the song Baigan Me Miladiya. When we thought of doing a bilingual, we thought of giving Hyderabadi coin phrase to Hindi audiences since one of the four protagonists is a Hyderabadi. That’s how Baigan came up. The final lines are not just catchy but harsh facts and daily woes with so much life in them.

Arun, the composer for the film, is a guitarist turned keyboard player and did composing assistance for several music directors viz., MM Keeravani, Micky J Mayer etc. In its final shape, the song finally came out like an Engineering Anthem and we thought we will call it so too.The story is of engineers, the song is of engineers so we thought we will first make this song available to the lacs of Engineers out there before a general audiences and in an innovative way. So, we sent this song to one lakh engineers (including students and grads) through their WhatsApp. As I write this, the process is on and we will be able to give an account of how successful we are, by tomorrow half time.”
"}]
