Sometimes, I feel Writing is nothing but talking to the words. Creative writing to be precise. You just take one word or phrase and let it know how beautiful it is with the help of other such simpler yet relevant words. And there you go, you have got the best that you can think of, a masterpiece that you have always been dreaming of. But is it that easy to be called a masterpiece?

For being the best, you got to choose the best and weave it in the most amusing manner. Here goes the hierarchy:

1) You choose your best word or phrase (Generally, it is your title)

2) Select the other necessary words (The stanzas in your article)

3) The weaving words (the ones that describe and connect the dots)

And there it is, your overall composition.

You may think of it as a Ladder. The better of the 'best' word you choose, the higher you climb up on the ladder of success. And not to forget, this ladder has no upper end and thus, there is always the scope to move to the next step. Mark that success here is the literary excellence that one can achieve and does not relate to any monetary standard.

Notwithstanding, words are nothing unless they come from your within, to express what you really are. If it's only about writing then you may go on writing without bothering about their whereabouts, from here and there. But the essence of the words will not be conveyed efficiently unless those are composed with compassion and contemplation. And more often than not, that is the most basic thing one misses out here. Or maybe you are just not able to realize whether the sense of attachment is there or not.

But as the wise men say, some things are better spoken before you take them to your grave. So it all lies on you, the way you get those things to you. Although you need not stick up to the mainstream methods, ups and downs make it more joyful of a ride for the readers.

So what are you waiting for? Get the hold of your pen and the nearest notepad, and draft your very own self in the piece of paper. Scribble down the stories that have made you what you are. Write something that will go down the lane of memories, preferably good ones.
"}]
For a freshman who's come a long way from his/her home to this beautiful campus, things might not be straightforward as it seems. To adopt in such new atmosphere, one ought to be aware of the to-dos of the campus and give it an ample amount of time. Here are the Five things you should know before stepping in this Haven.

1) Home away from the home

The campus is situated on the outskirts of the Secunderabad city, amid the whimsical woods and serene surroundings. But that doesn't hinder its connectivity from the city. Right in front of the main gate, is a bus-stop from where you can get the bus to Secunderabad in every hour. So you never feel detached. With all the facilities provided in the campus itself, including shopping center 'More', to stationaries, to restaurants, you can find it all in your vicinity. So technically, you 'may' spend all your college time without stepping out of the campus, without any issues.

2) Extensively rich Library

As you enter the Academic Block of the college, you find this majestic figure from which you can't get your eyes off. The two-story construction is divided in accordance with your requirements. An open lawn with bean bags to comfort you will you dwell into novels and magazines. The textbook section where you can find all your course related material and practice for your academics. The reading section where you get to explore all the fields of study and know more about the World and sciences. Need I say anything else?

3) Magnanimous Auditorium

Right in the center of the academic block, you find your way into the humongous Auditorium, of which every BITS-Hian boasts for. And why shall they not? It's one of the bests of the kind that you can find in the country, with the capacity of around 3000 heads at one go. With well-maintained green rooms and spacious stage, the building amazes you every single time you visit it. To add on, every other Saturday, they conduct movie screenings of the latest movies in the Audi, and that too for free. You can't afford to miss that, can you?

4) Student-friendly Faculty

From teaching in the classrooms to informally interacting in-person, a major section of Faculty members participates very actively and always tried to bridge the gap between the students and their discipline. Not just academics, they do take interest in the college activities and extracurriculars. The Student Welfare Division takes care of all the interests of the students, with both teacher and student coordinators working together to enrich the mutual bonding.

5) Culture - For the students, by the students

The most peculiar provision that BITS offer is the peers-oriented culture. More than anyone else in the campus, it's the fellow students that will make up for all your problems. You get to learn the life lessons while interacting with your college mates throughout your college life. They are the ones who'll always be your first resort to get guidance, shelter (psychological), and the driving force. With the alumni base of more than 5 batches, you will find someone of your university in any of your future endeavors.

Now, it isn't your fault, really, some of us are so privileged that we never have to worry about cleaning after ourselves, because that is somebody else's job, right? Just note, 'because there are no dustbins here' is an excuse. That being said, people have indeed shown that they are willing to use dustbins if made available, but since we cannot trust our municipality with anything, it's up to us. In a country where lack of civic sense, traffic sense and empathy are the norms, having all of the aforementioned qualities is the greatest act of defiance you can pull in the face of societal odds.
Plato said 'No number of laws can improve the conditions of nations, the moral of whose people itself is corrupt', and it still rings true thousands of years later. It's not the government's fault, it's not the fault of the municipality, it is us, and change will only start with us. V. Raghunathan wrote in his book, Games Indians Play, that us Indians are privately smart but publicly dumb. I highly recommend that book by the way, it is an incredible insight into why we are the way we are, which also happens to be the tagline of the book. Click here to buy!
Never forget that the tickets to Tejas Express were in the thousands, so we know for a fact that it was people, middle-class people who could afford those seats, that outright vandalised the train. Which also means that the excuse of blaming those 'poor low-class people' is thrown out of the window, or thrown at the window. Perhaps throwing excuses at the window was what cracked it in the first place.
So yes, Civic sense is dead, and the funeral is outside your door where you dumped your garbage. Come one, come all! Let us bear witness to the moral degeneracy of this nation that claims to be culturally rich and does everything in its power to make sure it's only in the hearts and minds and not actually in their surroundings.

HRD,Ministry,Government,CBSE,Results,Cognizant,LK Advani,Babri Masjid,Uma Bharati,Tejas Express,Devendra Fadnivas
txt
rich_1495712227597
1. Washed your own clothes? Cleaned your plate after your meal, threw garbage on the floor and ignored it until the domestic help which you can afford because of course, you can, came along and swept it up? Now, it isn't your fault, really, some of us are so privileged that we never have to worry about cleaning after ourselves, because that is somebody else's job, right? This culture, that cleaning up after you is someone else's job is heavily ingrained in our society. A great example would be to stick your head out of your window or your door and take a look at the street outside.
I'm not one to talk here, I'm just like you, I have absolutely no moral high ground or superiority to claim here, I'm a hypocrite when it comes to this as well, because I grew up learning that it was not my job to clean up after myself, that someone else will do it for me. It was only after I spent two years away from home did I realise the important of self-reliance and doing things on your own.

Next time you're in public ask yourself why you're throwing away that ice cream wrapper on the street.

1. Harper Lee's magnum opus, To Kill A Mockingbird is a book about a young girl growing up, which passes through adventures, fun, and relationships with peers. She has many things to learn about, including life’s unfairness to kids, weak people, or people with a different skin color. This book is very relatable to each of our lives.

This is a story about true love and friendship, when one college student has to change his life principles and attitude to everything that happens around him. It teaches us to appreciate friendship and people who love us, and be ready to accept the ugly truth of life.

Consider this: a luxury train with sealed windows, fully air-conditioned compartments, running between Mumbai and Goa along the west coast, equipped with vending machines that doles out coffee for those who need their caffeine fix, complete with a food trolley which us Indians have only read about in the Harry Potter books, recliner seats and infotainment systems with headphones. All of this for a price between Rs. 2000 to Rs. 3000, which is a decent fare considering the distance and the services offered. What could possibly go wrong?

Turns out a lot can go wrong. “Youth doesn’t reason, it acts.” is a great saying by Francis Picabia. The main strength of a nation are its youth. Luckily our country is blessed with the power of youth. The Traffic Drive-In opened up recently in L.B. Nagar, and it is straight up one of the best joints this side of town. With Yum-Yum Tree, Thick Shake Factory, and much more, this place is perfect for weekend hangout with your friends.

The ambience here is top-notch too. With hipster looking car license plates and incandescent light bulbs hanging from the walls and ceilings, ambience gets a solid 8 out of 10.

txt
rich_1495629412623

We tried the fish mandi here, which, if you're familiar with Yum Yum Tree, is out-of -this-world delicious.
