Before going into the crux of what I want to enunciate. I would request you to spare a thought for a rather hypothetically realistic question I would like to raise. Introspect people, how would YOU feel if a classmate of yours OR maybe a colleague for those of you who are working, someone who has never bothered to initiate a conversation with you. Abruptly two days prior to maybe your examination process or assignment submission at work, initiate a conversation, make you feel all important, make you feel that he/she wants to have a cordial relationship with you. Takes your help through out the entire process and stops talking you the day his/her work is done. HOW WOULD YOU FEEL? BELITTLED? USED? TO BE MORE PRECISE. Introspect, then how should your mother land feel? When the very foundations of what you are today are laid down by the INDIAN EDUCATION SYSTEM that you are bent on abusing today. Before you set out on a quest for materialistic wealth and let a man sitting in a far off land, across the seven seas ,in an air conditioned cabin ,wearing a three piece suit and someone who hires you not because he wants to accept the fact that you are better but because you are cheap labour enjoy the fruits of these very foundations? INTROSPECT.

An ardent columnist is one who sways opinion away from illusion, towards the positive.. The all so famous Greek philosopher Plato once said and i quote," Originality can be found only in one's head, in his thoughts. Anything said, done or written is a mere duplication of the same".
Connecting that to the concept of mindset it would not be wrong to say that a man is a mere consequence of his own mindset.

CONTINUED.....

I would therefore like to address certain alarming traits with respect to our so called "MODERN" mindset or should I say "WESTERN" mindset. After all modern and western are synonymous to us, is it not? Our obsession with absolutely anything that is IMPORTED says it all.
I would hereby out-fold a labyrinth and also help you solve it to the extent of exhausting my capabilities.Do not worry, I am going to exempt myself from being superficial about this and throwing cliche's at you. Neither will i venture into 60% of my generation proudly yelling out 'Rabrindranath Tagore' when asked about who wrote our national SONG nor will I concentrate on our interest in Donald Trump's racist comments which dominates over our interest in Narendra Modi's formulations.
To start off on a good note , lets first mention certain "could make us proud" traits. After being looted over and over again for centuries. After undergoing turmoil via the division which left thousands not only homeless but nation-less.

We should say we have come a long way compared to where we were a century ago.

The appreciation rate of anything is calculated on the base price, which in our case was a mere negative. So comparing our development rate to that of countries which did not go through the same would be unfair However, saying that is the best we could do would also be too much of self-satisfaction.

While the entire world and my fellow Indians are bent on believing that we are a day away from seven decades of independence . I CONTRADICT. I say we are still a mere colony. being ruled over by an empire called the 'DOLLAR' and everything that surrounds it. The west still rules us to an extent wherein we are still ashamed of even speaking our own accent of English.

TRIVIAL FACT- Indian accent is the most understandable of all the accent in the world.

Hey readers, let me start with explaining about what TED is, first, rather than directly jumping into the content First of all,

What is TED?

TED is actually a global set of symposiums on the topics concerned with Technology, Entertainment and Design (TED) founded in 1984.

Why was it founded and by whom?

Richard Saul Wurman, an architect and a graphic designer was an author of 83 books at least, he had done a lot of research and was always eager to share his Ideas (which lead to the motto “Ideas worth Spreading”), that’s how he first organized his first own TED talk, which didn’t go that well.

What is TEDx then?

After a 6 year break, TED was again organised in California in 1990, which grabbed the interest of like-minded people and formed into a community, later, there was a substantial increase in attendees and applications, due to which organisers wanted to form Individual communities just like TED. That’s how TEDx initiative was started to organise TED-like events around the world under the TED license in which ‘x’ means Independently organised event.

Now, let me answer the questions that were in my perspective in the beginning,

How is TED talk

These are not just casual talks or meetings held in a college that

In here, every speaker has their own way of grabbing interest of people not just by sharing their Ideas but also by motivating the listeners which is the unique quality of a TED talk.

Then, what’s so special about this TEDx Hyderabad?

TEDx Hyderabad has put forth the motto “Crafting our Future” for this year, which is really impressive, and makes us to think a while, “How are we Crafting our Future, am I? really? “, “if not then why not give it a start”
