The teenage years are vital to healthy cognitive function as an adult,so it is important to maintain a strict level of healthy behavior during these years.Drug abuse can impact the brains ability to function in the short-term as well as prevent proper growth and development for later in life. Some studies of the human brain have attempted to pinpoint the changes that occur during adolescence. Health researchers have found that dramatic spurts of both physical and intellectual growth happen during the teenage years."The pleasure centers of a teenager's brain develop faster than the parts of the brain responsible for decision-making and risk analysis."

txt

I still remember the day I met you. It was on 3rd June 2016 the third day of our reopening of the College. We were very new to eachother and the way she spoke really mesmerized me. Within a few months of time we became eachothers best friends. I knew that she would never leave me nor would I. Our mindsets always matched, our likes and dislikes were similar, we were of the same nature and Yes..! Not to be forgotten that our zodiac signs also matched. I loved her from the bottom of my heart and so did she. Two years of friendship with her was amazing. It was all filled with love, care and affection. I always told her one thing " We are connected heart to heart, distance and time can never break us apart ." Everytime I told this to her she would agree and laugh out loud. But then never knew that one day distance and time would break us apart. The other day she misunderstood me and my words when I had a chat with her on Instagram. I was sure that Alumini Meet would bring us together and she would definately speak to me but who knew that she wouldn't even like to see my face when I greeted her that day. My heart broke into pieces and never did I try to clear that misunderstanding with her. I knew that she had found new friends for her and there came an end to our Friendship. "Every story has an end in life but every story is just a new beginning." When I lost one and only bestfriend in my life contrary to it God blessed me with two gorgeous ladies both at heart and their appearance. Very loving, caring, encouraging and supporting these two girls entered into my life. Its been more than two years of friendship that I am sharing with them now. This is how an end of a story gave birth to a new story in my life. I hope no misunderstandings breaks our bond @RAVZ...

txt
Nowadays, many kinds of fast-food restaurants are available in the malls and strategic places. The international branded restaurants such as KFC and McDonald grow quickly from one city to another all over the world. It indicates that the fast-food restaurants are popular and preferable. There are several causes and effects of the Popularity of fast-food restaurant and fast food.

txt

The first cause is needs of modern community which have intensive activities. In a family, both husband and wife have a tendency to have a job.Consequently, they do not have enough time to cook and frequency of eating takeout is increased. Most people work full days with a lunch break of limited time, thus practically they need fast food for lunch.

txt

It is that time of the year when many students start applying for universities abroad and one of the primary requirements for any such application is a statement of purpose or SOP as students like to call it. I have come across many SOPs over the last decade or so, probably in the hundreds and I edited, wrote, re-wrote more than I even care to remember. One thing that I noticed in most of these SOPs is that they seem to follow a bland template that makes even the most boring TV serial seem spicy.

So what can you do to make your SOP good and not be boring?

For starters, do not write information about your family members and what the name of your pet dog is or who your ex-boyfriend/girlfriend are dating now and any such information. It is as irrelevant as Narendra Modi's politics on a sports channel. Keep the SOP about what you want to do and what you did before to enable you to pursue the course that you want to. Don't start it with your name and your college and blah blah and instead, start it with an experience of yours. For example, if you're applying for an MBA, write about the time when you worked on the organising team of your college. If you're applying for a Master's in Computer Science, write about the time you went to a hackathon or some such. Let it be out in the beginning itself and narrate it properly, the way you would do if you get a match on Tinder.

Another common mistake that students make is that they make up things that they didn't do. Considering the fact that admission officers in Universities come across thousands of SOPs, they most likely know how to spot something that's fake and they'll ignore it immediately. Also, when you write about what you did not do, you won't get the much needed feel to write it and it will turn out to be an impassioned piece of writing.

Start with your experiences, write about what you did, what you learnt and write about the experiences that made you want to pursue what you're applying for. And for the sake of the holy flying spaghetti monster, please do not follow a template set by whichever consultancy that you're going for if you want your SOP to be interesting. Write it from your heart and if you're not sure of your language skill, get someone who's good at English to edit it but make sure the words are yours.

txt
rich_1578568227925

Drug addiction can happen to anyone, it leaves no one behind.

This demon catches one at its weakest it takes hold of its prey when they are blindsided and grips them by digging its claw deep into their skin. But nothing lasts forever these demons can be chained when saints are found and these saints are the counselors, the rehab centers, that have their wings opened to take refuge in and they chain these demons.

The youngsters are the easiest target who are trapped in this web because their mind is like clay that molds up easily, but in the wrong hands, it molds into an unfamiliar model. There are countless reasons why one step into this environment because of the unfortunate family backgrounds that they are brought up in, some seek escape and others to look cool and to try and fit in with their peers.

The adolescent age is complicated it's very easy to say NO to the right people and YES to the wrong and learning to discern when to say NO and to whom to say is challenging.

The victim of drug abuse may be one but the effect moves in a chain it affects the individual, their family, the society and ultimately the nation as a whole. The person who is addicted is already aware of the ill-effects but they do not fathom the negatives that it gives and they are willing to sacrifice lasting health for a momentary pleasure.

The effects of drugs in youngsters:

- it causes them to make wrong decisions

-it tampers with their cognitive development

- concentration level decreases

-negative impact on academics

-lack of health

-brings distance in relations

-mood swing

But it's not the end, today there are so many resources that are available to help anyone battling with drug abuse, it's going to be fine with the right help and one can get back on the right track in no time.
"}]

Drug abuse is a major public health problem not only in the United States but also worldwide. Drugs are nothing but Alcohol, Tobacco, Cocaine from coca. Many mental health problems such as depression, bipolar disorder, mood, and anxiety disorders are also associated with drug abuse. We can see there are a lot of people who feel lonely and fear to express or control their emotions that kind of people are addicted to it. Drug abuse is something that changes the brain in many ways without any proper control. Drug Abuse is nothing but using drugs in a bad way. Now a day, many students are addicted to drugs, which means that they are not only destroying themselves but also destroying the people who depend on them. for example, consider there is a poor family where parents are depending on their son. If the son is addicted to drugs, then what's the position of their family??? Because once's a person is addicted to drugs, he doesn't have to control his thoughts or he can't concentrate on his studies, which affects his goals also.

Nowadays,Youth feels that Drinking alcohol or Smoking is a style. It may be because of movies or their surroundings or their age. But they don't understand the impact on their career. If we consider 100 people, among them, 95% of people are addicted to drugs. Now you can understand the influence of drugs on people and the rate is increasing rapidly. Youth is one who helps in nation development.SO, we need to change ourselves and motivate others because it not only destroy their career but also their Nation. Initially, It is difficult to avoid such addiction but there are so many rehabilitation centers i.e, A clinic where people with an alcohol or drug addiction are treated. A common problem that villages face is the lack of lighting on the roads and pathways and considering the rural surroundings, it can get quite risky for the villagers to walk around in the night as there can be snakes and more. A team of students affiliated to Hyderabad Youth Assembly (HYA) took it upon themselves to get street lights installed in Chenchupally village under Vikarabad Mandal and within a couple of weeks after initiating it, they managed to install five solar-powered street lights in that village.

About the initiative, a team member Sravya informs, "Samutsaha (our team) wanted to implement Goal 7 (Affordable and clean energy- ensure access to affordable, sustainable and clean energy for all) of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals as decided by the assembly and that why we decided to go with illuminating roads in a rural place."

The team of 11 students from various colleges raised a whopping Rs. 65, 840 just by getting donations from their friends and families for this. "When we started getting information as to what it would cost and all, we came to know it would cost about Rs. 13,000 per light. Having raised the money before the assembly through donations from friends and family members, we then took the permission of the government authorities and the Sarpanch of the village and finally, on December 22, 2019, we installed those lights there," says Sravya, who is a student of St. Francis.

txt
rich_1578489723108
