Now my eyes see what I don't want to, here fleet keeps moving on through,

the city where wrongs and rights are abandoned,

wings trying to fly are here all grounded.

Where Islam and Hinduism are just prize tags,

the buyers are the one on whom bids are held at,

where air's flow is restricted too,

yet the fire to understand your religion keeps fucking you!

Here God's are taken as delivery men,

to whom you don't order but just prey right then,

where great ethics are just word's they glued,

like inked bodies you just see and move.

No I'm not against these religious songs,

I know these melodies keeps you moving on,

but have you ever tried to find what really is wrong,

our earth holds people not save religion forms.

We are humans, we breed,

we as humans all move,

we dread for predators,

we glitch and then groom.

We define our pulses in utmost woven form,

yet 'WE' discrimination is still quite a norm.

(Religion is an inner fire enlightening your soul until you don't let it burn your outer human)
"}]
Managing time effectively is an art that, like many other forms of art, can be learned. Of course, it goes without saying that you must be willing to learn it in the first place, otherwise there is no point, is there?

I've found out recently that if one wakes up earlier in the day, they are likely to find that they days are much longer than what they're used to. Waking up at 5AM enables you to get much more done than waking up late and sleeping late, that just boosts lethargy and makes you slower. Yes, that's a thing. So how can you make sure you can be effective when it comes to time management?

1. Wake up early:

This one was obvious, wasn't it? Not only does waking up early ensure that you are ready to tackle the day ahead of the curve, it also ensures that you will sleep early to make up for the sleeping time to facilitate you waking up early in the first place. You'll also find that your days are longer and that you can accomplish much more than what you previously thought was possible, including hitting the gym that you've been promising to do.

2. Underpromise, Overdeliver:

Whenever you're asked for a task, make sure you do not agree to it right away unless it is extremely important. Promise to look into the matter and do it anyway, this will save your time and also the person who's asked you to do it.

3. Prioritise:

Of course, the above point would be crippled without remembering the fact that you need to be able to prioritise your work effectively. Trivial tasks seem easy to conquer but that'll just cause you to push back on important ones which will cause you to panic and not focus on it properly.

4. Learn to say no:

One of the most important parts of learning to manage your time is learning to say no. If you have something important going on and someone comes along and asks you to focus on something else or your friends ask you to hangout when you know you've got something important to you, you absolutely need to know how to say no. It'll save you a ton of time.

5. Take A Break:

You maybe wondering why on earth would I advise you to take breaks in an article about using time effectively, but that is as important as the rest of the points, mostly because you need to let yourself for a few minutes every hour or so and avoid going into a burn out. This keeps your focus up and allows you to finish your work effectively, thus saving time.

Ratan Naval Tata, who was born on 28 December 1937 in Bombay presidency, British India, is one of the most successful entrepreneurs of independent India. He is an inspiration for many entrepreneurs around the globe. Today as we remember his achievements on his 82nd birth anniversary, lets look at his life and learn a lesson or two from his experiences.

His journey from a new born!

Ratan Tata was born to Naval Tata and Sooni Tata on 28 December 1937, in Bombay , British presidency. His parents seperated when he was 10, he was later adopted and raised by his grandmother,Navajbai Tata .He studied in Bishop cotton school Shimla, he graduated from Riverdale country school, New York City.He then received a B. Arch. degree in Architecture with Structural Engineering from Cornell University, and, in 1975, graduated from the Advanced Management Program of Harvard Business School — an institution which he has since endowed.

His road to the successful career.

Though he was born in the Tata family, he earned his position. In 1961, Tata began his career in the Tata Group, working on the shop floor of Tata Steel, shoveling limestone, and handling the blast furnace. Promoted to management during the 1970s; he then endured trial by fire and was able to turn Group company National Radio and Electronics (NELCO) around, only to see it collapse during an economic slowdown. In 1991, J. R. D. Tata stepped down as chairman of Tata Sons, naming him his successor.During the 21 years he led the Tata Group, revenues grew over 40 times, and profit, over 50 time. On 28 December 2012 he resigned his executive powers from tata group and appointed Cyrus Mistry as chairman of Tata group. He was later removed from the post on 24 October 2016 and Ratan Tata was made the interim chairman of the Tata group, till 12 January 2017, after which the position was handed over to Natarajan Chandrasekaran. Ratan Tata invested his personal savings in Snapdeal, Teabox, CashKaro.com, Ola Cabs, Paytm, Xiaomi, American Express, Bitcoin venture Abra, Nestaway, Dogspot.

Along with the fame and stardom he was honored with the Nation's prestigious awards

Ratan Tata received the Padma Bhushan in 2000 and Padma Vibhushan in 2008, the third and second highest civilian honours awarded by the Government of India. He has many other honors and awards to his name.

Contributions to the society:

Mr. Ratan's strong belief of giving wealth back to the people is reflected in his donations of approximately 60-70 per cent of his wealth, especially in the support of education, medicine and rural development, distinguishing him as a leading philanthropist in India. In 2010, Tata Group companies and Tata charities donated $50 million for the construction of an executive center at Harvard Business School (HBS).The executive center has been named Tata Hall, after Ratan Tata (AMP '75), chairman emeritus of Tata Sons. The total construction costs have been estimated at $100 million.

Tata Hall is located in the northeast corner of the HBS campus, and is devoted to the Harvard Business School's mid-career Executive Education program. It is seven stories tall, and about 155,000 gross square feet. It houses approximately 180 bedrooms, in addition to academic and multi-purpose spaces. Tata Consultancy Services(TCS) has given the largest ever donation by a company to Carnegie Mellon University for a facility to research in cognitive systems and autonomous vehicles. TCS donated $35 million for this grand 48,000 square-foot building that is going to be called TCS Hall

My idea of college, I believe was a lot linked to infrastructure and the fancy facilities that permitted me to explore un-chartered territory and secretly find about a secret society that existed years ago but is functioning till date, only secretly this time.

Either way, St. Francis wasn’t on top of my list.

It was a back-up I thought I wouldn’t need.

But well, now I am the Undergraduate student who’s not going to spend 3 years during her B A studies but 4. I changed my course after two semesters of B-Com, and now pursue Arts.

It seems almost that because there was so much that I had on my list to what ‘looked like a good college’ , is that I landed in one that is well, to put it mildly , in stark contradiction to the idea of a ‘handsome’ college. It doesn’t have vast areas where you can bicycle your way around the campus exploring, nor has swimming pools or multiple canteens and multiple auditoriums or a ‘sunset’ point etc etc.

BUT , now that I sit/lay down/ whilst listening to what I am now calling new-age music gone classic-vintage; I realise that a good college doesn’t have to look ‘great’. You just need to be ‘good’ to it ( in more non-metaphorical or vague or philosophical terms - have an open eye to what you see and know, and don’t jump to conclusions to sit on your butt complaining about shit you don’t have and the so-called shit you do have). You be good to it, and it will be great to you. Yes.

You’ll realise the the Library has the hidden secret-societies you were looking for. The canteen is economical and noisy and well, better than a bench with tea and samosas only. The indoor stadium is actually in a state you can still boast about it, and there’s basketball too. The pani -puri guy and needs-dhaba is more than any midnight-maggie point you wish for.
You get to eat ghar-ka-khana and have the joy of opening your tiffin box and bask on the glory of its contents knowing that it shall be tasty and worth the wait through the sleepy hours. You bond with friends sitting on the floor in the corridors of your 3 floor main UG Block, than what you would have thought on a campfire in grass at a national fest. You have rocks and trees that connect you with Nature, and more often than not with my dear friend. You have inspiring literature TEACHERS who know why they are teaching what they do, and how they do.

You learn that self-sufficiency is the key to survival, and not dependency on the class whatsapp group for last minute notes hours before the exam. You adapt to multi-tasking as you plan for three birthday parties in the same month, just days apart. You imbibe efficient working as you give yourself only hours to finish an assignment because you know you'll live up to the task. You struggle with identifying yourself in the pile of things/activities/responsibilities you sign up for. There is always someone else who is just that little 'notch' higher on the scale of comparision.

You find really similar yet insane people who are trying just as hard as you to not just fit in, but stand out. You find passion and also the lack of it. But somewhere between all of this tangled mess, you discover a little more about yourself, and for that, you have your college to thank.
"}]

1. Space maintains pin drop silent!

5. If two pieces of same metal type touch in space, they bond and permanently stuck together.

When we were in our tenth standard, all of us must have heard one classic statement from family and teachers which goes on " Study hard and get great scores, You'll be sorted for life". No, this didnt stop there, the statement followed us to our graduation too. The whole point is every hurdle let be tenth or graduation or PG or the competitive exam (GRE, TOFEL, IELTS and others) all are important. But did you ever observe what is common in all are hurdles that when known can hike the scoring?

They are various skills that we must indulge in which are Verbal, Quantitative, IQ, Everyday Life's Physics and such other. Many of us are taught these or some take up coaching for getting placed in an MNC or Admission in the desired course.

Basically, these generic courses stands out as a gate for our great career. Luckily, I realized it soon and keep hunting for such coaching classes. Today, we all know about StuMagz as an Digital Campus Ecosystem which initiated as an online student discovery platform. After joining the team I realized it more than a student discovery platform. It's one stop platform that not only brings students, but also colleges together.

I joined in StuMagz on 21st december 2017 by StuMagz SREC team with the help of my friend named Krishna Teja who inspired me a lot to join StuMagz. For over 100 articles that I have written, I got immense support from StuMagz SREC team especially Brother Nirmal who guided me well in maintaining the standard in my articles and Sisters Rishitha & Varsha who helped me in choosing the topics for writing articles. Initially, I felt little nervous that I might fail in expressing my opinions clearly.

txt
rich_1544611823814

With that fear somewhere in my heart, I published my first article on 25th December, 2017. Writing is the ultimate tool for self-discovery, which is the ultimate means to lead an authentic life. With writing, we can effectively communicate our ideas and thoughts. The very advantage of writing articles in StuMagz is the ability to convey the information. This is extremely important because it improves the ability of framing our thoughts during communication. It is a good habit to write in any platform as it helps us to improve our writing skills in english and StuMagz is one such platform. We’ve all heard that phrase being repeated over and over, a constant reminder to us that people are more than what they actually seem. However, as opposed to books, we cannot simply flip the pages of someone’s life and read their thoughts and feelings at our leisure. It’s how they present themselves to the world that gives us an insight of what is going on in their heads.

txt

Think about this for a second. Anyone can go into a shop. Anyone can buy a certain item of clothing. Two random people in the world who would never meet can have the same sense of fashion. But no two people are entirely the same personality-wise.

txt

No one can deny this: looks attract people at first. But does it really matter after getting to know that person, not really. Personality is what truly matters in the end because it is the thing that no matter the time, no matter the season, remains constant.

txt

Use the shop example again. You are attracted to what catches your eye at first, but in the end, you buy the thing that lasts. And personality is the thing that lasts.

Looks are superficial. They don’t really say a thing about who somebody who actually is. You know what looks are? A combination of genes: something that nobody can control. Deciding on who somebody is how they look doesn’t do you any good. No one can help what they look like.

Firstly we need to accept the way we look and the way we are, then we can present ourselves confidently in front of the world and prove them that looks are not everything.

txt

Because of looks, it is hard for some people to be taken seriously. Some people have good looks, high IQ, athletic ability – but instead of them being praised on all of their other, and quite frankly more importantly, achievements, they are complimented on something that adds no value to them overall.

txt

‘How we look is unimportant, it’s what on the inside that counts.’ This is something that has been argued for years, decades: centuries even. Some people agree with it, some people don’t. Looks don’t really matter in the long run, but they do have a part to play in the way people see you.

txt

It's high time we recognise where our world is today, and be honest with ourselves. Because if we do not, and just continue to harp that it is " what's on the inside that counts" , i worry that our world will only become uglier and more distorted and superficial and move further away from the truly beautiful place that it is and the beautiful people we are.
