When I was a kid, I saw my dad writing some beautiful lines of poems in his personal book. Later when I started understanding his writings, he gave some books to read which then made me think that how can people write such big books when I can't even fill the pages of my class notes even after teacher dictating the notes.

Yes, I used to think like that, when I was a kid. After few years , I saw my brother(my inspiration) reading books and writing his thoughts.

After seeing my dad and my brother writing, A dream was flowing in my mind like water flowing in a river to write a book or a single article at least once.

Now at this age, I have learnt to write. I write my experiences. Whatever I write, that comes out of my experiences. I have read a quote somewhere saying"We write to taste life twice, in the moment and in retrospect.” Yes, this is so true.

I don't see the people around me, I observe them, I learn from them.

I write, when something makes me happy.

I write, when something hurts me.

I write, when I understand something new.

I write, to come out of an emotion or to share my emotion. I write about a person and send it to them to make them feel happy.

Writing gave me a clarity on my life. Writing is a magic and a medicine too.

Most of all writing completes me.
"}]
In my previous post, I wrote about the infectious energy that filled the room on the first day of Ideation Camp. The second day was not very different.

People, especially the shy ones, came out of their shells, glad to collaborate on ideas and work together as a team on the second day, discussing how to solve issues they were presented with for about half the day among themselves, getting ready to tackle their given challenges. This process not only helped in brainstorming a solution for the problem, it also served as a litmus test to see who could do what.

By the time the judges came in, all the 12 teams were ready with their presentations.
Twelve teams were in a state of mind to present well and win.
The only thing I could think of was how good I was going to make my presentation when the time came. So good, I told myself, that we may just yet the first place. Being a spokesperson for the team also comes with the additional responsibility of effectively communicating what our collective thought process was. It's not as easy as it sounds.
After all the presentations were done, Suman sir and Nitin Kulkarni sir congratulated us for our thoughtful solutions.
Although only 2 of the 12 teams that participated won the prize, let me take a moment to congratulate each and every one of us who came out and participated in the Ideation Camp, especially those among us who were there to learn something new and how ideation works. Victory and defeat are part of life but the valuable experience you pick up from it is what matters. For me, it helped me improve my presentation skills and I'm quite certain the others will tell you something similar.
I heartily congratulate all the participants for coming forward and taking a step of participating in this workshop.
I mainly want to thank Suman sir, Sathish sir and Nitin Kulkarni sir for taking this initiative and encouraging us.
The main thing I have learnt from this camp is,
Learning something in everything is called winning.
"}]

For most, the life of a BRAT (Born Raised and Transferred) AKA the unassuming Army/Navy/Air Force kid in your class, led to more than just a few curiosities about their way of life. Was there any room for pleasure amidst all that rigid structure? Perhaps they were real brats, enjoying all those perks an army ranking afforded them? Did their parent(s) sleep with guns under their pillows? As we tend to with any community that seems to live behind closed doors, existing within realms and structures that appear so different from our own, it was these kinds of prevalent misconceptions about the BRAT life that prompted our inquiry into the real experiences of this community. In an era where the defence community is often a media target (many times, the scapegoat for political agendas and the object of contempt; on rarer occasions, abusers of their own power) it’s easy to forget the individuals that make up the whole. Men and women who must stay away from their own children for months on end, in an effort to protect the country.

While I compiled this article through the lens of army kids’ observations, things became a lot clearer. The defence environment really does tend to be independent of our own in many ways, yet the nomadic nature of the fauji life gives BRATs a profound social understanding of people and cultures as opposed to regular civilian perspectives. Underneath the pleasure of army privileges is often a constant battle with the fear of not being able to see their loved one who is out sacrificing their safety for the nation, not to mention the challenge of being separated from their army parents for months at a time. The BRAT community is more diverse than most, but their hearts are in sync with their commonly-shared experiences of love and loss in the cantonments – their minds distinctly resilient, having been raised in an environment of selfless duty.

I cannot thank the forces enough for teaching me the art of humbleness, adaptability, and treating everyone with equality.

My favourite part of being an Air Force kid is telling my civilian friends about the places in the country my father has been to, places that one only ever does read about in Geography textbooks. Growing up as an Army BRAT is, I believe, an opportunity only a few lucky ones get. I changed seven schools and eight cities as a Fauji BRAT. During this period I grew up in small and big towns alike, attending convent, government, defence and private schools and forming close friendships with people across economic stratum and religions. This experience has taught me more about this country, its different people and cultures than any form of theoretical learning ever can.

A sense of decorum and discipline is instilled in you early. Though fauji parents are not super strict – but they tend to live life with discipline and punctuality. Cantonment life, in general, with amenities like football grounds, swimming pools, gyms, the mess bar and that occasional bungalow house are perks I thoroughly enjoyed. Though, what I loved the most were fauji parties - trust me no one knows how to throw a classy yet crazy party like officers and soldiers do! In my personal experience, there isn’t anything I have particularly disliked about the fauji lifestyle.

A sense of equality. It’s a golden rule of the fauj and it’s instilled in my consciousness. I feel the separation of religion from a profession, in the forces is one of the reasons that could have contributed to my tilt towards atheism. While growing up with many strong women around me, female officers and equally brave wives and widows of officers has made me a feminist.

Stepping out of the defence environment was quite strange for me, even though I had many civilian friends growing up. When I came to Hyderabad for my intermediate and undergraduate studies, I found the lack of a political opinion, or worse, a highly uninformed opinion about national politics and the armed forces highly disconcerting. People seemed to be more interested in how much of subsidy I could get while buying alcohol from the Defence canteen than what my father actually did as an Air Force officer! Eventually, I made my peace with it. Though the funniest thing I had to adapt to was being ‘fashionably late’, a norm I don’t quite understand or like to follow. While in the defence environment punctuality was a given, in the civilian world I often find myself alone at parties when I turn up on time, at times even the host is busy taking a nap!

Home is the cantonment, the fighter jets flying over our houses and our parents in uniform. Home is the parties and the parades, the salutes and the air shows. Home is where the Air Force sends us, plain and simple. Everything else is just a home away from real home.

After years and years of questioning people, I still haven’t found the answer for it. Who really is a handicap? Does being handicapped mean missing of a leg or a hand? Or does it just lie in a person’s thinking process?

I have seen many people in my everyday life who are referred to as “handicapped”. Actually, people put me under the same category, i.e., “handicapped”. I grew up thinking that I was normal. Even today I consider myself normal. People just look at my physical appearance and estimate what I can do and what I can’t. But if they would have taken a look beyond these physical disabilities, they could have seen the REAL me. The ME who is a dreamer, the ME who is obsessed with fashion, the ME who loves “LOVE STORIES” and “HORROR FILMS”, the ME who loves to take pics, the ME who loves to hang out with friends, and most importantly the ME who is determined to go against all odds to achieve my DREAM.

So in what way am I a handicapped? Just because of some disabilities, am I considered as a handicap? There are many people in this world who have disabilities and defects, maybe just minor ones so, are all those people handicapped? I don’t think so. Just because you can’t find a solution to a problem doesn’t mean there’s no solution. Just because you think I can’t do something, achieve something mean I really can’t do anything. It’s your thinking that has stopped you from crossing your boundaries. It’s you who has put limitations on your thinking. It’s you, who can be EXTRAORDINARY someday chose to be just ORDINARY. Don’t you dare put me into that category? I choose to cross those BOUNDARIES. I choose to find the NEW and BETTER me. I choose to be EXTRAORDINARY someday.

So finally I am not the people’s ME but the real ME.

"}]

I have no idea why I waited this long before reviewing this.

The Antec A40 Pro CPU Cooler is what we call an air-based CPU cooler that is bigger than the stock CPU cooler Intel or AMD provides along with their CPU chips. Not only do they have a bigger fan, Coolers like these are designed with high temperatures in mind, particularly for those who do CPU intensive work like rendering and graphic design and for people like me, gamers.

Buying this was an impulsive decision I took 4 days after purchasing Assassins Creed: Origins, because Origins - a CPU heavy game - was firing all 8 cores of my 8 core CPU, thus causing it to run at a whopping 100 degrees Celsius. I couldn't keep playing like that for longer sessions without the risk of my computer burning the house down, so I went ahead and bought the cooler. The review is my observations after the fact.

I soon noticed that it wasn't just with Origins, but other games also caused my CPU to hit 100 degrees easily, which made it all the more important for me to purchase the cooler as soon as possible. Before swapping out the coolers, I ran a test to see how hot the CPU got with the stock cooler. I wish I had saved the screenshots so I could show you, folks, what I'm talking about. Nonetheless, here are what the test results looked like.

With Stock Cooler:

I'll attach an image of the stock cooler down below so you can see what it looks like.

With the Stock Cooler on, the temperature of my CPU on idle, that is to say, the temperature when I was running no other program except Spotify and Steam, which are always on my PC, was oscillating between 55 degrees Celsius to 63 degrees Celsius. A very high idle temperature in itself, but with stock coolers, it is expected that the idle temperature would be around 50. This was nearly 13 degrees higher.

On load, when I ran games like The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt and Assassin's Creed: Origin, the CPU temperature instantly shot up straight to 100, beyond which the CPU software I was using did not measure. While Witcher was not as CPU heavy as Origins, the latter brought my PC down to its knees with how demanding it was, it didn't even matter that the rig was powered by an i7 4770K, one of the best Core i7 processors in the market during its release.

With Antec A40 Pro:

Opening up the CPU and installing new stuff is always an anxious task, you're constantly afraid of breaking stuff and installing this CPU cooler was definitely one of the most anxiously sweat dripping stuff I've done with my PC so far, and I'm one of those weirdos that get parts and build PCs on our own. For the cooler to install properly, it had to snap in place over the CPU, and when I say snap, I actually mean snap, a loud one that made my heart miss a beat and worry if I'd bent one of the CPU pins. I've done that one before as well.

Applying moderate amounts of thermal paste that came packaged with the cooler, spreading it out and snapping the cooler in place later, it was the moment of truth. Firing up the CPU after plugging it in, the first change you notice is that the CPU cooler's fan actually has a colour, a blue light that looks cool if you're into that kind of stuff.

Running similar tests as earlier, I was pleased to note that the temperatures on idle had fallen to a breezy 35-40 degrees Celsius, from the earlier default of around 60. That was a near 25 degrees Celsius drop in temperature, which is absolutely massive.

Of course, all of this would be for nought if I didn't test it on load, so running Assassin's Creed Origins again to check the temperatures gave me quite the pleasant surprise as temperatures refused to go beyond 60-65 degrees Celsius, a full 40 degrees drop in temperature on full load. Maybe it was the new thermal paste, but I honestly did not expect such a drastic change.

My PC performance has been top notch since I installed the Antec A40 Pro, it is cheap, reliable and mercifully quiet, a very important factor to consider while buying a CPU cooler. The downside would be its wonky installation, but then again it is better than attempting to chop off an entire section of the back panel just to facilitate a water cooling system and it gets the job done for a much lesser price.

I'd heartily recommend this to anyone looking for a CPU cooler and if you're a gamer looking to build a PC, you should go with this cooler to keep your gaming risk free.

Are two Kings better than one? Are two Kings better than no Kings? Did Stephen pass on his flair for writing a bit too much to his younger son as well? Buckle up as we read this year's horror entry by Stephen King and Owen King in which the women of the world fall into a deep sleep and are wrapped in a cocoon, which when cut open causes said women to fly into a homicidal rage and murder everyone around them. Relatable, because I tend to murder everyone around me when someone wakes me up from a really nice dream.

Now, Stephen King has been around for long enough - and influential enough - to classify a certain type of stories as 'King-esque'. King has been writing horror for a good 40 plus years now, often fueled by a ton of cigarettes and drugs (don't do drugs, kids) which led him to pen out the deepest darkest horrors in his mind on paper, which is how we got IT.

So yeah, seriously, don't do drugs.

So how does Stephen King's collaboration with his son Owen hold up with Sleeping Beauties?

For starters, King senior might have evolved over the years from writing endless prose that leads nowhere - or leads somewhere very slowly - but with two Kings collaborating on the project, it seems that the book lengths are back to haunt our hands as we desperately try to hold up a 750 page tome and pray it doesn't fall on our faces. Or maybe that's just me, I read lying down on the bed.

The first thing you need to know about Sleeping Beauties is that it does not shoe-horn feminism, although it does get a little out there every now and then, it is still two white men writing the story. Before going into this book, I had presumed to read something similar to the fantastic graphic novel Y: The Last Man on Earth, but it turned out to be much darker than that. While Y does have it's moments, Sleeping Beauties penchant for making sleeping ladies kill everyone around them is kind unnerving.

Does it get under your skin? Oh yes, it does. In spades. It isn't Stephen King's best work and at the time of writing this, I do not know which parts were written by whom, although I'm sure a quick google search will solve this issue for me, it does manage to bring in that trademark 'King-isms', the kind of storytelling that has become unique to King and authors inspired by him (think Alan Wake but in real life.)

Of course, King himself is not perfect and any King novel shows his flaws, this one has too many characters and too many threads to follow that ultimately lead to the same place, which is fine, but then why drag on the story endlessly by introducing an endless stream of characters that will not even be relevant a few pages later. I'm certain this is due to my bad memory but I did go 'Who is this guy' once or twice when the characters introduced showed up, some of them anyway.

That being said, Sleeping Beauties is a definite must read if you're a King fan and a worthy read if you're not but are looking to read some horror, who better to take you on a journey in horror literature than The King himself, right?

HOW MANY TIMES DID YOU THROW A PLASTIC BOTTLE INTO THE BIN?

Each year, the world produces 300 million tons of plastic, much of which resists degradation and ends up polluting every corner of the globe, but a team of European scientists may have found a UNIQUE solution to the plastic problem. They discovered that a common insect can chew sizable holes in plastic shopping bag within 40 minutes.

As we know that plastic pollution is the very serious issue in every country, scientists are doing research in order to reduce this plastic pollution. In the last decade, plastic has affected the health and life of human beings very badly. Some incidents have attracted the attention of the mark about the use of plastic in daily life So because of this serious issue scientists are working on it.

The discovery was led by Federica Bertocchini, a developmental biologist at the University of Cantabria in Spain. She first noticed the possibility as she cleaned out her backyards beehived two years ago. She removed some wax worms (Galleria mellonella) living in the hive and placed them in an old plastic bag. when she checked the bag an hour later, however, she discovered small holes in the part of the bag with the larvae. Although Bertocchini wasn't an entomologist, she guessed immediately what was happening.

The larval form of a small moth, wax worms get their names because they live on the wax in the beehives. Like plastic, wax polymer, which consists of a long string of carbon atoms together, with other atoms branching off the sides of the chain. both wax and the polyethene in Bertocchini,s plastic bag had a similar carbon backbone.

When they placed the worms on polyethene plastic, they found that each worm created an average of 2.2 holes per hour. Overnight, 100 wax worms degraded 92 milligrams of a plastic shopping bag. At this, it would take these same 100 worms nearly a month to completely break down an average, 5.5-gram plastic bag.

Here's hoping we can reduce plastic pollution to a major extent with this move but then again, all of it will be naught if humans continue to be reckless about their surroundings. I do not understand us, sometimes, why would we want to destroy our own homes like this with reckless abandon? Let's hope we can encourage more people to reduce their plastic consumption, therefore reducing plastic around the world.

Being a noun, the word itself tells us that all the points which form sentences in your life are strong.

A strongest point is the one which you excel in. Where you can compete for the world with a confident posture, look, language, communication, etc. You can think that a person will have both strong and weak points too. But, the same person can also think that his weak points can be changed to strong points with his willpower. A weak point is just an attribute that is inadequate or deficient.

There are few points how to overcome your weak points like

* Always have perseverance in any situation.

* Do not blame another person for your weakness.

* Be the same your are with 0% changes.

* Recognize your weak point.

* Convince yourself to change weak to a strong point.

* Very importantly, never expose your weak points to the world.

* Look for others whom you can be with and change yourself.

Finally, I want to convey that every weakness has a hidden strength.

Don't hide, come up with new things in your life.

Because once you do, there is nothing stopping you, ever.
"}]
