In any engineering college, we will find people from every strata of society. Collectively, this diversity makes our college what it is. This assortment of students adds color and verve to our otherwise drab college life. Let’s take a look at some of these people –
1. The fashion gurus: These people are the reason why half of the student population comes to college( if you know what I mean :P). They have the latest fashion on their finger tips and are also trendsetters in their own right. If you have them in your friend circle, they become your go-to person for fests, parties etc.
2. The nerds: They eat, sleep and drink books. They are the teachers’ pets. They can be found at libraries if not in the classrooms and some of them become the major reason for our mass bunks being unsuccessful.( if you know what I mean). No offense though. They are the pride of our classroom when the professors ask “who is the topper of your batch?”
3. Political affiliations: no description needed.
4. Event managers: from parties to fests, these people are on our go-to list. They have contacts inside and outside which gives them the ease to get things done.
5. Sports persons: you’ll find them in the grounds rather than the classrooms. They are the pride and pillars of our college.
6. The “fighters”- well, in the literal sense! Always ready to get into a fight, these are people we can rely on during crisis.
7. Bunkers- always the first ones to walk out of the classrooms, they take the initiative of “organizing” mass bunks and those movie outings.
8. The “Cool” bunch: The smarty types who have all the fun and still manage to pass the exams. They have fun like any normal student, bunk lectures, participate in academic and non academic events but still manage to study.
9. The uninterested engineer: born to be artistic and creative but brainwashed to be an engineer. Could have been the next Picasso or Dan brown, apart from many!
Did I miss any?
