For a generation that is used to going out most of the time and finding something to do always, this can be a tough time and it is also a tough time to find <a href=\"https:\/\/www.stumagz.com\/in\/5-ways-to-utilise-stumagz-to-make-your-quarantine-productive\/\" rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\">ways to be productive<\/a> but <a href=\"https:\/\/www.stumagz.com\/in\/in-conversation-with-the-future\/\" rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\">Nikhlesh Garnepudy<\/a>, a musician based out of Hyderabad, has made this music video which talks about how we can really live instead of spending time binge watching series or on social media and actually do something productive. The best part of this video is that he has done it entirely at home, during the lockdown period.<\/p>Yes, you read that right. This music video was produced at his home, as he shares, \"When this lockdown started, I was also binge watching series online but I was bored of them too and then I realised that many of my friends are actually being productive at their own homes and I decided to make a music video.\"<\/p>Nikhlesh reached out to all of his friends who were making the most of this quarantine period by learning something new at home and felt he should utilise that to make a message-oriented music video. \"I always made romantic tracks but after seeing what my friends were up to, I wanted to make a fun, yet message-oriented video so I asked each of them to send me video clips of themselves doing what they were. Among my friends, there is a chef who participated in Master Chef Dubai, there's a makeup artist who is also an instagram influencer, there's an entrepreneur, there are musicians, there's a fitness trainer, etc. All of these shot clips of themselves on their phones and sent them to me,\" explains Nikhlesh.<\/p>"},{"type":"youtube","id":"vid-url-1585895668619","data":"lLNzH4THgXE"},{"type":"txt","id":"rich_1585895668618","data":"Initially, he wanted to write the lyrics himself but later, asked a friend to do it, as he explains, \"I started writing the lyrics but I realised it's better if a friend of mine, who is a poet, wrote them. I requested Abhay Kasavaraju, who usually writes in English, to write them and he wrote it in Telugu.\"<\/p>What makes this video unique is the fact that it was made on a zero-budget, entirely on phones. Even the audio was recorded on Nikhlesh's phone. \"I recorded the song in my room and prior to that, I recorded the ambient noise in the room and while editing, I removed the ambient noises, like the sound of the building lift, the sound of a bird chirping outside, etc,\" says Nikhlesh.<\/p>This music video, is testimony to the potential that's there in all of us and that is also the message of the video.
