Of late I have discovered an unusual fact related to psychology.

txt

Everyone of us have dreams. Some may be threatening, some may be so wonderful that they take us to a different world, some may bring tears in our eyes and some teach us the essence of life. Thus we cling on to some dreams that really appear to be wonderful and make a determination to fulfill them. It fills our heart with so much joy to imagine the dreams getting fulfilled.

txt

For example, imagine you got a dream wherein you saw yourself as the best tennis player in the city. Instantly your heart develops the desire fulfil it. You begin practise from next morning itself and wish to continue it till you achieve your dream. But does that happen? Every day, to wake up early in the morning, to play and then go to college seems so tiring. The heart that made you start the game instantly tells you 'Stop it. Its too tiring'. These kind of events actually keep happening every day. Like setting an alarm clock.

txt

These kind of events actually keep happening every day. Like setting an alarm clock. Have you ever been able to wake up in the morning instantly at the sound of alarm clock? Inspite of having serious circumstances(as in not studying the previous night for exam) our heart never accepts to destroy our wonderful sleep, though the previous night it was resolved to be awake that morning.

txt

So something that I have discovered is that our heart is the most mysterious thing in this world. It is the one that wants to reach great heights and it is the one that puts a halt to the process on encountering slightest of hardship. Someone rightly said that it is easier to hold air with our palms than control our heart. The one who succeeds to control his heart can really be successful in life.

txt
With the strike by employees of the Telangana State Road Transport Corporation(TSRTC), entering the 37th day, it became the longest strike in the history of the Corporation in the Telangana states. Over 48,000 employees of the state-owned public transport utility are on strike since October 5 to press for their 26 demands.
Their main demand is the merger of the TSRTC with the government so that they are treated at par with government employees. KCR led government has, however, rejected the merger demands from 56 other Corporations and he blamed the RTC union leaders and the opposition parties for the current situation. He remarked that the 'TSRTC is finished and nobody can save it'. He said 'by going on strike during festival season, the employees cut the very branch they were sitting on'.
Unfazed by the strike and the protests, the Chief Minister has asked the TSRTC officials to hire more private buses to run under the Corporation. He has also dropped hints of issuing permits to private operators. Though ruling out the total privatization of the TSRTC, he made it clear that the Corporation will not remain the same.
Due to this four employees were committed suicide. K.Neeraja, Surender Goud, Srinivas Reddy, and Surender Reddy killed themselves in separate incidents, as their salaries for September were not paid, and the state government dubbed them 'self-dismissed' for deciding to go on strike. The strike took a serious turn when four employees found dead.

So, In my point of view, I can't say it's government mistake or employee's mistake because each of them are correct in their ways. If the government joins RTC people in government, they have to pay more salary but the government does not have that much budget to pay for them, so they are not able to do that. When we consider RTC workers, they work very hard not even bothering about festivals, family,... As they are struggling hard, they think that they deserve to get a better salary with minimum benefits.
so you guys can comment your opinion in the comment box below

txt
We all might have come across this line, Work Smart not hard. Today I am going to give some bullet points on how you can reach your desired targets. These tips are for everyone and if followed you can achieve anything in your sight.

You got one chance, one opportunity To seize everything you ever wanted, will you capture it or let it slip?

For all the Engineering folks out there, all you have to do is:

• Make a list of the topics which are emphasized by our faculty and don’t forget to follow your syllabus copy.

• Use 15 minute rule i.e. try to prepare the topic in 15 minutes, if you are unable to do it take help from your friends.

• In any examination, previous papers are going to help. Not only they help in interpreting the type of questions you are going to face but also gives you the liberty to skip the topics which are not so important. Work smart, not hard.

And now let’s plan a routine for your preparation, shall we?

• Early in & out of the bed.

• Don’t overdo anything, keep the sessions small and slowly increase the duration.

• If you can multitask, do multiple subjects per day.

• Use pictures or drawings to remember stuff.

• Follow timetables strictly.

You can see too many people from our college near and around the ground only on 2 occasions. One of them is the season of EUPHORIA(college fest which happens in even semester of an academic year where all Departments in our college compete for First place in Sports) and the other situation is whenever there is any sports league(Matches organized by students for friendly combat mostly in the odd semester every year). Right now in our college, a similar league is happening called VPL(Vasavi Premier Leauge) a cricket tournament.
VPL was an unofficial event conducted and organised by the students(the winning side) for their respective Batches outside the college. During VPL everyone used to go to ground instead of college to encourage their friends. With no one attending classes, the faculty used to know about VPL and we used to get scolded but still, it was fun supporting and playing by bunking classes. We made some great memories this way. Facing so many problems we still used to play VPL this shows our interest in games.

“One man practising sportsmanship is far better than 50 preaching it.”

Now VPL is an official event which happens after college hours in the college where students from all Batches and Branches participate, enjoy the game and feel the spirit of the game. These games help us to establish a bond between seniors and juniors in a friendly way where everyone can interact with each other and have fun.
"A Sound Mind is in a Sound Body."
playing games is good for both physical and mental health. If we stay fit and active our mind functions better and faster. So, I would suggest everyone to keep playing every day and stay healthy.

txt
Cyber-crime is one form of crime that literally anyone who uses a digital product can fall victim to and the more that law enforcement authorities try to combat it, newer are the ways that cyber-criminals come up to gain what they want. Students are among the highest users of digital devices and are also the biggest potential victims of cyber crime. According to cyber crime expert Shashank Gangari, who regularly conducts cyber-security workshops for college students and is also an official mentor for the same at Telangana Academy for Skill and Knowledge (TASK), the easiest way to avoid becoming a victim of cyber-crime is to be aware of it.

txt
rich_1573213537294

According to Shashank, it is very easy to be a victim of cyber-crime and he speaks about it during his workshops and gives a live demonstration of how it can be done. “I take their permission and hack into the college website, send myself an email from their email IDs and more. I do all this live so that they get to know first hand how easy it is. I do the email thing specifically because anyone can send an email from any email ID and if someone sends an email from a government ID saying the recipient got a job and needs to come to a certain place for the appointment, then the recipient can also be kidnapped or worse, especially if they’re women,” explains Shashank, who has conducted over a hundred workshops, adding, “Most students don’t know how vulnerable their phones are, as apps with the ability to send all of the phone’s information to the hacker can easily be installed on phones. The only way to avoid being a victim is to consider oneself already hacked and be aware of the dos and don’ts of cyber-security.”

txt
rich_1573213537295

He is also of the opine that cyber-security should be made an elective course in colleges. “With the constant rise in cyber-crime in the country, India needs thousands of cyber-security experts aka ethical hackers. If courses are offered in this field, it would make for a very good career option for students,” explains Shashank who also started a cyber-security company along with his friend A.V.S. College could be too hectic and monotonic but Vignan manages to break the boring routine through technical and cultural events and this time, it is going to be on the 9th of November- The Innovative Project, followed by Cultural events, an opportunity for every student to showcase his/her caliber.

It brings back memories from last year's Innovative Project, I took a stroll through the corridors of Vignan, noticing the extraordinary efforts put in by the students (and their guides, of course) and have been eagerly waiting to take part since then.

As a person who admires Engineering immensely, (haters might call me a nerd) I was fascinated looking at every project they had exhibited because it is all about the applications. A major appreciation to all the students running like maniacs to get the components and the circuits right (reminding you guys it's time that you take the precautions that you mention in your records) and sincere respect to all the guides who have been taking time off their stiff schedule to help us out.

While your project could get you to places, in the past week, I also got to observe so many other important things that may have gone unnoticed. You know how they say, more than the destination, it is about the journey? (Well.. I just did say that). It holds true in this case.

It all starts from selecting whatever you are interested to work on (which is like half the work because there are numerous and incredible options out there). Then you will have to convince your guide that your decisions have been taken in a sober state and that it is possible to make it happen (especially that your guide is capable ;D ).

You spend an evening haunting down places like Koti to get the equipment required with your friends and skip the shopping part and end up eating outside (hey! people get hungry..). The real struggle begins after you assemble all the components. That is when most of us feel the most respect for all the Engineers.
Now this is THE INNOVATION time because most of us make so many wrong connections and type the wrong programs that we might at some point actually invent something brand new. Genuinely, this period is very important in every aspiring Engineer's career because of the amount of practical knowledge we gain during the time spent on making mistakes an learning from those.
Finishing the project and heaving a sigh of relief right before the college helpers start setting up stalls for the projects' exhibition is the best part about it.
So when you see a project, it is not a mere working model but an idea and the efforts which have gone into making it possible. Mark your dates, the 9th of November, 2019. You are going to be there, aren't you?
"}]

Introduction: The leading reasons for anxiety amongst students are exams. There are students who commit suicide or alternatively give up on life in fear of not getting through the test. Exam anxiety and exam stress are feelings which are common among students of all age groups. Some are capable of managing exam anxiety and test difficulty in their own way. Some fall victim to consequences of exam jitters and suffer from depression, do poorly at tests or even take extreme measures. Sometimes, exam force will make you have panic attacks and bunch of people see that this difficulty before tests is much worse than the current tests, and it gets even worse if
They have elder siblings who have already done well or are clearly the brighter ones compared, and feel that they have a benchmark to match up to. This is not your regular article or something similar to a YouTube video of which the title reads out as "How to prepare for exams in 10 days'' or "How to prepare for exams in one night" or "How to write your exams without preparing for it at all."
So, read carefully because here are some "Tips" which are probably the most helpful you would find, some of them are listed below;

1) Stop juggling: Organise! Go through the topics and look out for the one's you have an idea about or are thorough with, and jot down the topics which you are unaware of.
2) Condensed notes: Writing down notes is feasible and most helpful for retaining information or nailing down the answers. So, if you're starting from scratch or have plenty of time before the exams condensed notes are the way to go! and you don't even have to break your head for it.
3) Chart: Now that you have a proper plan and notes ready, grab a huge sheet of paper and make a chart. And by this, I mean to lay it down it should include, the amount of time needed to complete a particular subject starting out with giving priorities to the subject you feel is tough, which takes longer and gather important questions and previous year question papers and tick off the repeated questions.
4) Single Mindedness: "keep your phone away", "you spend too much time on that brick", "you're having a headache because you've been on your phone for too long" possibly everyone of us has heard this. Our parents can be a little harsh on us when they say we use our phones a lot. And they're not wrong! Staying on our phones for too long actually can lead to memory loss. And the psychologists have stated this as "Digital Amnesia" where our brains are fast losing their ability to remember as to become increasingly reliant on technology to retain data. Concluding, stop using your phone for a longer period of time and prepare your mind for a single objective, that being to score the highest and to give it your best shot.
5) Calm down take a breather: Stressing out and panicking will only make situations worse. Find something (or someone, for that matter) which/who makes you relaxed and tension-free. When I was going through really bad panic attacks during the finals of intermediate 2nd year, I sought help from my elder brother, and he is the best person to ever exist in my life, gave the best advice and said " it's alright to not feel confident but if you're really determined of your ambition and do aim for success, you surely will pass and with good grades!" And that talk with my brother really relieved my stress, anxiety, depression and all those things I worried about. And It might seem facetious to you, but I scored more than what I imagined and better than the previous year. I Guess elder siblings are not that mean after all.

According to Newton's 4th law for exam;
Every book will continue to be at rest or covered with dust until some external or internal exam moves it.
To accomplish great things, we must not only act, but also dream, not only plan but also believe. Don't copy, it shows how unbothered you are of your future. It's okay if you're not the best in studying, it's okay if you can't score good, as long as you are determined and devoted to your ambition everything will and should work out just fine.

Our dreams are attainable, no matter what obstacles stand in our way.

These were some tips from me, a student to the students reading this. And all of them were original and are few principles that I follow. Remember not to put yourself down, everyone and everything is worthy and valuable.
All I want you is to be courageous,be calm and be self equipped with the facts and figures to conquer the exams battle. I wish you the best of luck in your exams.

txt
Help us Lord,that's hectic!!

Yes that's hectic, 'that' isn't some unsolvable mystery or something,it's just this one subject that I ain't able to get over .

My friend was like "This subject isn't even my thing, I can't study this, I just don't know why!"---"Oh that's okay kiddo!!,chill out and start using those brains to get to know what your problem is,only then you will find ways to come out of it".

-Maybe you are one of my kind where we find our regular teachers to be sleep inducers or we're too busy to listen to any of them. Technology has always been developing faster than a fly and let's make a proper use of it.

-You might have not realized it earlier but our assignments, those YouTube lectures, our little study circles involving friends, might surely help in some way possible.

🤝A big hand shake to all those who feel grudgy with those math freaks!! for always being on the opposite side of our universe. But,be it math or any other subject,it might get easier once we try learning it properly from its roots. It might take time, but do much learning with every hope to complete it.

-Kick those bugs and worms that keep distracting, anything is ok when you need to learn it.

--Fill your column of effort,be confident,be selfish that's ok to be at times, asking people for help doesn't belittle you.

After all you end up with something new or could even crack those toughest subjects.

Be a little more practical, nothing is to stop you if it's your will to do so. Just grow up mate, stop pointing reasons not to do it.
"}]
It is that time of the year when alarm starts ringing every morning and soon everyone is found with a book in their hand dancing to the rhythm of 'Ratta Maar'. Exams are approaching and everyone can feel the stress. Exams are definitely nerve - wracking and only a few come out successfully. Their secret lies in their approach. Its a unique blend of smart work and hard work.

In this article I will be sharing few tips to excel in exams.

1. Firstly, cover all the important topics in every chapter.

2. While doing that keep a small book for jotting down important formulae and different methods used for solving problems. Do a problem on every method and parallely note down where you can possibly go wrong. This gives more clarity and improves your understanding of the concept. Go through this book for atleast 5 - 10 min daily to memorize them easily.

3. When it comes to answers, practice diagrams well and remember the keywords. In case one forgets the answer, he/she can write it in their own words using key words.

4. Always prepare according to the weightage. So you can understand which one should be given more importance and allot more time to it.

5. Go through previous question papers and practice frequently asked questions.

6. Also, make sure your presentation is neat and try not to strike off anything.
Too many of them gives a bad impression and you might lose marks.

7. Don't stress yourself. This is not rocket science as conceived by most of us. Don't hung up on difficult concepts in the last minute. Go easy on yourself and do simple ones first.

8. Don't forget to take a practice test a week before exam to know your weak points.

Remember, practice and frequent revision is the key to excel in any examination.
