To make the best use of this technology, you must realize what should be your target and how to approach it. <\/p> <\/p>For a college-goer like me, it\u2019s imperative to be connected with the world on every platform possible and be in touch with all that is happening around. And most importantly, you got to understand the complete essence of its language, English, to communicate and participate actively. <\/p> <\/p>The best way to help with the English fluency is to connect to the English language as much as possible and nowadays, it's at your tips. But there\u2019s a catch. It can be very distracting if you don't have a good resource. That\u2019s where my favourite online forum comes to rescue.<\/p> <\/p>Quora, an online question and answer forum where you can pretty much ask any question you like. It's really engaging because you get to follow specific topics of your interest, say, you might want to follow English learning topics, or maybe the topics just about life in general, or maybe something to do with sport or travel.<\/p> <\/p>The beauty of this platform is that you get to follow a topic that really interests you and ultimately, you are going to get more interested in topics that suit your taste and get in the daily habit of using Quora and hopefully, learn a lot of length new words and expressions for your everyday vocabulary. <\/p> <\/p>Quora is like a social network where you can actually just sign up with Facebook or Google+ accounts if you like and it's great because you can even see some of your friends on Quora. You can see some of the topics that they follow that they find interesting. You can comment on other topics which they've commented on and you can even write your own questions and share them with your friends too. <\/p> <\/p>A really good thing about Quora is that they are very focused on quality. So, there's no spam, there's no advertising, and people tend to put a lot of effort into what they've written. Also, since you're only going to follow subjects that you like, you're not going to get flooded with information that's not important or not interesting for you. <\/p> <\/p>For example, you may ask questions on Quora which intrigues you like, \u201cWhat is the most beautiful number and why?\u201d It is as actual post and has garnered over 300 comments. Another question, \u201cWhat are some of the most mind blowing facts about India?\u201d It has over 500 comments. This says it all.<\/p> <\/p>What I personally like about Quora is that you can vote on each response. So if you think a response is really good, you can vote on it and it'll push that response to the top. So ultimately, the first of responses that you see on any posts are going to be probably the best, or at least, voted the best by other readers.<\/p> <\/p>So whether you are a self-taught English learner or just someone who wants to be more immersed in the language, I\u2019d recommend you get connected with Quora and in turn, get connected with the World.
