Dr. Jatin Mipun, belong to the Mishing tribe. Did his M.A. and Phd. in sociology from Dibrugarh university. He writes poems and short stories in Assamese languages, besides research paper for learned journals. Books in Assamese language are “Miksijili (novel)”, “Kankanar Prithibit (short story)”, “Asom Darshan (essay)”, and “Dupor Nishar Bahit (poems)”. “Miksijili” his novel is based on socio-cultural life of Mishing which was awarded prestigious Ambikagiri Raichoudhury Award of Asom Sahitya Sabha, the novel was also telecaste as serial from Guwahati Doordarshan, Assam. The book actually deals with the major tribe of Assam i.e. The Misings an attempt to understand the process of acculturation, communication and development among the Missing tribe of Assam. The book deals with the concept of ‘acculturation’ during late nineteenth century where different authors gave their different views on acculturation like Powell (1880), about ‘changing indigenous traditions under the influence of civilized people’. The book also portrays the social life, clan and kinship organization, Marriage, Religion, different festival, about the folk dance and folk song, political life of Mishing. The Acculturation among the Mishings which mainly deals with the religious contacts which made the Mishings the part of the regional culture and the great tradition of Hinduism and also talks about the food habit, the language spoken, the house pattern, the dress pattern and the tools and implements. The author has been successful to write about the Mising community because each covers a different aspect of the Mising community and moreover he was able to put up statistical data for the readers. The chapters deal deeply with the topics concerned. The book happens to be catchier because of the different case studies that the author has did keeping in mind the different topics the book deals with. And also at the end of the book he has showed the interview schedule that he has used to interview people in the villages. According to me, the author has done justice by studying the Mising community because he has used each and every detail from the name of the food for example apong, Adin (meat), ango(fish) etc and what are the new things that they has adopted in their culture. Although he has use some of the concepts but this book can be read to know the Mishing community of Assam. I am happy that I have taken out little time to read this book which was a profitable and enjoyable experience.

What does Cyber mean?

Cyber is a prefix used in a growing number of terms to describe new things that are being made possible by the spread of computers. Anything related to the Internet also falls under the cyber category.

Few examples of this are

Cyberspace- A metaphor for describing the non-physical terrain created by computer systems. Online systems, for example, create a cyberspace within which people can communicate with one another (via e-mail), do research, or simply window shop. Unlike real space, though, exploring cyberspace does not require any physical movement other than pressing keys on a keyboard or moving a mouse.

Cyberculture- A slang term used to describe the emerging culture of those who are networked in cyberspace. It is a society of people who use computer networks for communication.

Cyber-security - Cyber-security refers to the technologies and processes designed to protect computers, networks and data from unauthorized access, vulnerabilities and attacks delivered via the Internet by cyber criminals.

Network outages, hacking, computer viruses, and similar incidents affect our lives in ways that range from inconvenient to life-threatening. As the number of mobile users, digital applications, and data networks increase, so do the opportunities for exploitation.

As markets grow more global and complex, so too are the threats through cyber intrusion, denial of service attacks, manipulation, misuse by insiders and other cyber misconduct.

Cyber security, also referred to as information technology security, focuses on protecting computers, networks, programs, and data from unintended or unauthorized access, change, or destruction. Government agencies, the military, corporations, financial institutions, hospitals, and other groups collect, process, and store a great deal of confidential information on computers and transmit that data across networks to other computers. The main force behind the economy of Assam is agriculture. Tea plantations constitute a major part of this segment. The tea industry in Assam is one of the oldest , being established over 150 years ago. A Scottish man, Robert Bruce introduced tea in Assam in the 19th century. He learned about tea being grown in the area from Maniram Dewan, who was one of the first Assamese tea planters. He got in touch with the Singpho tribe who grew tea , and eventually established the industry in 1823. The first tea company, The Assam Company, was established in 1839 and in 1845, the company was granted a Deed of British Parliament and was awarded the Royal Charter by Queen Victoria in recognition of its pioneering excellence. The tea industry of Assam progressed by leaps and bounds over the years but faces a number of challenges today.

The Indian Tea Association was established in 1881 which further brought the interests of all Indian tea producers together. With the advent of the Tocklai Experimental Station in Jorhat in 1911, various research and yield prospects for the industry increased . The Guwahati Tea Auction Centre was also opened in 1970, which created a new era for marketing of Assam tea. Today, Assam accounts for more than half of India's tea production. The climate and soil ideal for growing tea is found in Assam, resulting in the estates of Assam producing millions of pounds of tea each year. The 'tippy' Assam tea is considered in high regard all over the world and a major portion of it is exported to other countries.

The tea estates in Assam constitute a major chunk of people living within the plantations. The colonial style lifestyle followed by the estate managers is still followed today. The management of the estates live in colonial bungalows, with experienced staff managing the premises. Sport meetups, regular weekends in clubs for 'drinks', and cinema shows constitute their lifestyle. Most of them excel in sports like tennis and golf. Games like Polo were also played before, but is hardly seen today. No wonder, planters after retirement have numerous tales to tell about the 'bygone days in tea'.

The tea industry is labour intensive, and with it arises a number of problems. Problems like high wages, and climate change constantly worry the industry these days. The government must work in cooperation with the industry and try to preserve this grand old industry full of culture and traditions.

'Happiness', isn't this the word which we crave for? We spend our entire lives rushing behind the materialistic things and thinking them to lead towards happiness, but do we really know what it means?

Happiness is not just a word , it is an eternal , unbound emotion. It is a priceless feeling which makes you delighted , bubble with joy, brings a smile and shine to your face and a lot more. In simple words, it is the opposite of sadness. None of us would ever like to be unhappy , which means , we always wish for happiness.

Happiness can never be bought, earned or stolen. It is the most blissful feeling in the world.

There might be different definitions and outlooks for happiness. Let us have a look at few of those.

To an introvert, happiness would probably mean a cup of coffee, books and self companionship.

On the other hand, for an extrovert, the meaning of happiness takes the opposite side. It means to talk to different people, to hangout with them, to create innumerable bonds.

For a child, it probably means to be able to throw stuff in various corners of the room whereas for a rich person it means to buy and own every new catchy thing.

Happiness on a larger scale means to have a happy soul , to forget your worries and enjoy each moment. Due to the busy and competitive lives we live , we are forgetting the true meaning of happiness. This is a reminder for you all to find your happiness in whatever you do or to be a source of your own happiness rather than depending on any other external factor. Remember, nothing can dim a soul that shines from within, and our happiness lies in our hands.

Forget your tensions and laugh a little more, rejoice and be grateful for each day of your life. There's a little soul in our bodies, keep it flourishing, always.
"}]
Parmanu is just one more 'patriotic' movie added to Bollywood's cap. It tries hard to portray the events leading up to the Nuclear test in Pokhran in 1998, but somehow fails along the way. As in the beginning itself, it is shown that the movie is 'inspired' from true events, one shouldn't have expected much from the movie too. The movie is completely made in Bollywood style, with the characters moving in slow motion with music in the background, narrow escape scenes, and some completely illogical situations. In one scene, it is shown that an IAS ofiicer is dismissed from service, and he goes to Mussoorie and starts teaching UPSC aspirants. This scene being illogical because, firstly he was suspended, not fired from service. An IAS officer receives full salary under suspension, and hence his attempts to make ends meet does not make sense. This is one of the many absurd things shown in the movie.

An IAS officer who is the son of an army officer, creates a masterplan to make India a nuclear state. Where this idea originated and how it did, is completely excluded from the movie. A corrupted senior officer suspends him in the process, and he goes under cover for three years, only to be recalled to service when the government changes in the Centre. He creates a brigade of people, inspired by the Pandavas of the Mahabharata, and makes a plan, hoping to dupe the American spy satellites as well. What follows are the die hard efforts to make the plan succeed test India's nuclear missile. The film also explores the officer's personal life as well, involving his relationship with his family. A series of misunderstandings are also created, with him constantly creating excuses to hide his operations, hurting his personal life in the process. Obviously there are scenes in the film, which seem impossible, and completely 'filmy', but the film succeeds in creating patriotism for one's country, if that is what the film intended to do.

It is not a perfect film, but tries to cover an incident which was extremely important to project the country as a superpower. In the times when none of the superpowers were with India and India was left alone to stand on it's own, it explored this extremely risky venture and ultimately succeeded. It was high time a film was made on this incident, and the film succeeded partially, even though not on the authenticity of the events leading up to the nuclear test.

The planet nine is actually yet to be discovered. Its existence is inferred. It is quite far out from Pluto and more massive than it. We need actual pictures to confirm it's existence. If this can't be done, we can continue to analyse its gravitational effects on the solar system and find out more about it.

There is reason to believe it exists. It's existence is the best explanation for the observed orbits of some of the dwarf planets in the far reaches of the solar system. Until the suspected planet is imaged, it remains hypothetical, no matter how likely it is.

The solar system just got a bit stranger. According to new observations of a strangely behaving rock in deep space, the answer just might be yes. As astronomers continue their quest to find the planet nine, a team found a space rock that leads to the idea that a huge super-earth planet really exists in the outer reaches of our solar system.

The new object we can see and observe is called 2015 BP519, and looks like it could be as big as a dwarf planet itself. Astronomers detailed it's discovery adding that the bizarre angle of it's orbit gives more weight to the idea that a big planet is out there tugging on the asteroids path.

Astronomers suggested that the mysterious planet could be 10 times more massive than Earth, located 600 astronomical units (AU) from the sun. (One AU is the average distance between the Earth and the sun, which is 93 million miles or 150 million kilometers.) It has a far more elliptical orbit which should take it 10,000 to 20,000 years to complete one revolution around the sun. The existence of this planet came out as the other 'Kuiper Belt Objects' have a large elliptical orbit indicating it's attraction towards an object or may be a planet. This is said to be the orbit of what we call as planet nine, with the centre ball of radiation being our sun.

One alternative explanation is that there was something out in the early solar system that we don't know about that could have given 2015 SP519 an extra kick.

When the news was released to the public, many people took this idea and thought that this planet was a sign for the end of the world. It is most definitely not heading towards earth. Suggesting that we don't even know exactly where it is, we can be sure that it will not hit earth at any point.

However, we need actual pictures to confirm it's existence. Nevertheless, it's a exciting clue that we have got another planet orbiting the sun way out there in space. If planet nine exists, we are expecting it to be a cold, icy giant because of its distance from the Sun, and the work to try and spot it continues.
