The current results of the Assembly elections in Karnataka is nothing out of the blue. The new government was bound to be an alliance between two parties but what is surprising is the recent turn of events after the results were announced. Certain new developments indicate towards the poor orchestration in Indian politics which is increasingly becoming apparent.

As counting was underway on 15th May, BJP had taken a lead in 118 seats. Celebrations had already started the BJP State and National Headquarters. But gradually, the Congress and JD(S) picked up their pace and as the day ended, BJP fell short of the majority mark by a few seats. Congress won 78 seats while the JD(S) trailed far behind at 37. But, the Congress was quick in it's actions this time and offered the post of CM to the JD(S). They had already announced that a Dalit would be the CM if JD(S) forms an alliance with them. All these events indicate towards nothing but the desperation of the Congress to hold power. They have proved there is no permanent friend or enemy in Indian Politics. The JD(S) and Congress had fallen out of agreement in the past, with a similar case with BJP and JD(S) as well. But when it comes to holding power, no pride or prestige holds any importance in India. The Congress once again took advantage of caste politics as it has throughout it's history.

One cannot rule out the master strategist Amit Shah as yet. The BJP supposedly has taken advantage of it;s brute power and offered 100 crore each to a few MLAs of the Congress and JD(S). The Congress acted swiftly on this new development and sent some of their MLAs packing to a posh 5 Star resort, paying for all their expenses but preventing them from interacting with anyone. Is this some kind of joke, where kids don't let their friends meet anyone else due to the fear of losing them. Politicians are running amock, the media is going berserk, and the general public is kept in the dark. One wonders how long this mess is going to continue.

Update: The Honorable Governor of Karnataka Shri Vajubhai Vala has invited Shri Yeddyurappa to form the government and has given him 15 days time. This is expected as Shri Vala is an old hand of Modi and has been an active member of BJP since decades. The Congress has stated it would move the Supreme Court if needed. Lets see where this drama eventually unfolds.

India after Gandhi is a magnificently told history of the world’s largest democracy, which has crafted the insightful and spirited account of India since 1947.
The book captures India’s 60 years of history with various events that took place after independence.

The emergence of some interesting events such as the Kashmir problem, North-East problem, the wars the revolts etc where the incorporation of the princely states the British India has been ignorant and there was a political breakdown between the Muslim league and the congress party which led to the partition of the Muslim league. Guha attributes to the four major factors like caste, class, religion and language that gave rise to many other problems like untouchability, riots etc. The constitution giving the recommendation for the reservation for the untouchables which led to a very horrible discrimination among where it was Gandhi who himself made the new terms for the ‘Untouchables’ which was ‘Harijans’ or ‘children of God’ which were later known as Dalits and the Scheduled Castes. The condition worsens up for them as the constitutional assurance that was given to them was reinforced by the different government from time to time. The makers of the country have equality in the government but not in the society. M.N.Srinivas then went on to show how Indian politics was shot through with caste rivalries in which he refers to the different castes of different places like in Andhra Pradesh the kammas, in Mysore, in Maharashtra and Madras the political conflict between Brahmin and the non-Brahmin, in Bihar the Bhumihars and Rajputs in Uttar Pradesh the tussle between the Rajputs and Chamars where the caste system was by no means unaffected by the economic and social changes unleashed by Independence. The Dalits problem was a severe one because there has not been a working-class women functioning with the government and in other countries the Dalits were also given the same importance. With B R Ambedkar Dalits now know that they have a place in the constitution and wherever there was Dalits Ambedkar was being remembered and worshiped.

Guha also questioned the growth of regional parties and the populist policies that has weakened India. The book also talks about the museum of Sikh history to see the ennobling Indira Gandhi killers. The Babri Masjid controversy which led to numerous inter-religious riots. The linguist movement in pre independence era which led to the creation of linguist province in free India. The book is a celebration to the survival of Indian nation for all the riots and the events India would have been able to survive as a country with a relatively stable democracy without sinking into chaos.

India is the only democracy where the lower orders vote more enthusiastically than the privileged groups and considering the size of electorate in India people vote more in India’s election than in any other country. India’s nationalism has not only been based on language, religion etc but India emerged as a nation on the world stage without an armed conflict or the threat of one.

The initial mission of Voyager1 is to study Jupiter and Saturn, but the mission was extended so as to explore the interstellar space. "Why can't you love me?" he scowled.
"I can't, I've never seen you that way. How difficult is it for you to understand?" She frowned.
"I can't love you when I know you're not that piece of my puzzle." She responded with a heavy heart.

You fell in love with her. You fell in love with her smile. You fell in love for how beautiful she is on the inside. There maybe some unspoken rules of Love. But the necessity of loving someone back is not one of them.

Your jealousy is strong. When you see her in someone else's arms, you go insane.

Is that love?
Or is it love that keeps you sane.
Instead of driving you crazy, it'd make you realize she's a free bird who has just found a new cozy nest and deserves to live in it.

I think it is just unfair how she thinks of your feelings before she cares about her own.

Ever asked her why?
It is because you were there for her.

Every time she needed someone to talk. Every time she needed a little light to see through the darkness in her life. You were there. Hence, She CARES about you.
Love is not something you can force out of people. It's a feeling that grows like a plant. You cannot expect her to give you mangoes when all she has are flowers. This is the way it is and YOU, you need to accept it.
When you love someone, you don't pass over an obligation to love back. Love is just given to someone you care about because you want to, because you think they deserve it. When did loving someone turn into a necessity of relationship? When did we slowly start to forget those other bonds of trust and compassion those held people together? Your love isn't strong as you claim it to be if you see destruction of your own happiness when she doesn't choose you. You're scared about being hurt. She is too, while she's hurting. Can you handle that if you were in her place?

When she finally removed all the thorns of her past and found roses, all you do is lead her to a new field of cactus?

Is that what your love is?

She is weak they said. Yes, she is. Weak as she cannot choose her hurt over your feelings. Weak as she cannot push you away with all your feelings. You matter to her but you do not know that. You're blinded by jealousy.
There's a saying about there being a thin line between friendship and love. Either way, both the relationships are beautiful. You just need that heart to feel it and eyes to see.

1526405703604
txt"}]

Instead of blaming a male for his actions and giving the statement that "Men will be Men" We really need to account our upbringing.

The whole scene is that we dont take care of our children the way we have to.
It is completely the problem with how we are brought up.

Being brought up in a conservative family and being always told things in a certain way thats how we shape our children.

Your upbringing is how you end up becoming , If you bring up your children equally and never really make a chance of parity your children wont end up fighting for their rights.

Its the right knowledge and upbringing that really matters.

You cant blame a male for anything at the same time because he is brought up this way, seeing his family that it is okay to hit your sister and raise your voice .

He has been objectified as one Superior already in the family that he ends up becoming aggressive with machismo.

If you teach your children the right thing and take care of them actually a hell lot of problems will end .

You need to teach them that no matter what sex , they have to value and respect all of us .

Humane and having humanity is the biggest value to be inherited.

That he is as equal as his sister and they both have the same power and capability to respond and take a stand.

If you dont Discriminate and Choose between your children you will have a better place to survive.

In 1900 BC a near perfect Empire was created many centuries earlier by Lord Ram who was deemed as one of the greatest monarchs in history. This once proud empire and its Suryavanshi rulers face severe perils as its primary river, the revered Saraswati which is used to make the drink of the gods – “The Somras” is slowly drying to extinction alongside which they face devastating terrorist attacks from the Chandravanshi’s who seemed to have allied themselves with the Nagas a supposed cursed race of deformed being with superior combat skills. It's summer now, and the temperature is almost 45°C. Everyone usually hate this season due to the tropical heat. The thing is that, this torridness is due to the combination of carbon monoxide (CO), carbon dioxide (CO2), carbon trioxide (CO3) and the green house gases like chloro fluoro carbons (CFC) absorbing the solar radiation that is bounced by the earth's surface. Murder on the Orient Express is one of the finest crime novels penned by the 'Queen of Crime', Agatha Christie. A classic Hercule Poirot mystery, it is considered to be a masterpiece in the history of crime novels. And as usual, the 'grey cells' of Poirot lives up to it's name.

The plot is based in the 1930s on a train running in Europe called the 'Orient Express' . The world famous detective, Hercule Poirot, travels in the Orient Express one night and as luck would have it, a dead body of a fellow passenger is found the next morning. Poirot springs into action and tries to examine each and every detail meticulously , but as the case progresses, it tends to get even more complicated. All other passengers on the train are from diverse backgrounds and have solid alibis. But Poirot, true to his reputation ,questions and suspects each one of them, and finally solves the case, only to unfold a shocking and ghastly ending .

Agatha Christie completely lives up to her name through this novel. She uses complex characters and savagely produces each one of their sundry stories. The book keeps you on the edge throughout, only to leave you shell shocked in the end. The genius behind this story is laudable. The story produces a sort of vintage setting in your mind, with the characters exercising lifestyles which are far too devoid of a murderer's. Christie succeeds to finally bring together all bits and pieces together in the end, creating a rigid story which leaves you in awe.

The book was adapted into films twice. Once in 1974 and then recently in 2017, where Kenneth Branagh stars as Hercule Poirot. Taking everything into account, this book is worth a read and never fails to effortlessly surprise you in the most untoward parts.
