It was 3 the alarm beeped.
The lock screen was a beautiful girl
Smiling from the deep
She walked to the mirror
A girl looked back at her with pale face
Her eyes smudged with tears trace
She was about 5.5
And yes she was fat
But atleast she was not a ruthless brat
Everyone pointed that she was fat
But she always kept the smile
Unlike those flats
She was a happy bird in her nest
Until she couldn’t bear the rest

Fat shaming is one of the serious problems faced by teenagers. Make them cross this bridge and if you're one of them trust me it's better to be 40pounds extra than a ruthless monster. Fat shaming isn't the only type of shaming, you are thin??? you are not having long hair??? your hair is so short?? You don't have muscles??? you don't have a beard???

To hell with all those comments...
It may seem fun to tease, fun to play but it's her life. It may be easy for you but it's hard for them to digest. It may be her/him but they still think back about the words you meant unintentionally. Spread love, it's okay if you don't like them but don't make them hate themselves....!!

You wanna put her to shame and make fun but one day when she will decide to put a break to this all and oops..... things may change upside down...but either way she loves herself. Come what may.

"}]
Sarahaha has been a trendsetter. It initially started in iPhones as their technology is way advanced compared to Androids.

Sarahah means 'honesty' in terms of Arabic language. We see our Facebook timelines filled with these things. It is a platform that allows a user to convey feelings their feelings unanimously. The reader will not know who it is. We often see teal coloured pop ups on social media with nicknames that ask others to write about what they feel about you. Earlier, in school days it was in such a way that we took a piece of paper and wrote our names on top and passed to the others. We shed some cold sweat until we get the paper back and when we do, we read the comments carefully and slowly. What each people think bout us. Since now technology is highly advanced and rapid we get arenas like this. And we see people posting the comments with a hashtag. It makes you feel good because you depend upon others viewpoint. The kind of messages we get are downright funny and yet sometimes shrewd and manipulative comments will obviously make you sad as they're like giving a slap on your face. insulting. Good or bad these comments make us strive to be the best version of ourselves. Girls are often targeted on with lewd comments which helps some perperators. They get cold and yet harsh comments on their behaviour, appearance, style etc. Since there are social media predators they tend to login and post all kinds of nonsense on their profile. But it gives you the opportunity to flag a comment if you dont like it. Some people believe feedbacks should be given right away and not indirectly in the form of comments.

Believe it or not, Sarahah is more likely a double edges sword. It has both pros and cons just like anyother object. We use them wisely we got nothing to lose.

1503243973061
txt"}]
Geethika Lingamaneni the person who has her hands in every sector that might be studies or events or as a participant or anything. I really don't know what to write about you. I guess writing just 2 words is enough i.e ALL ROUNDER as this clearly depicts you.
She gets involved in all the events possible and though she takes an active participation she still ends up as a topper. She is definitely an ideal person for all those people who want to excel in their lives both educationally and socially as she balances her work perfectly with all her efforts. As I mentioned before, she has her hands into every Hackathon possible or any other social event.
Let us have a look at her achievements:
1. India is a country with alarmingly high suicide numbers, with people between the ages of 15 to 24 being the largest contributors to this sad reality. India accounted for the highest estimated number of suicides in the world back in 2012, according to the World Health Organization. Major reasons for mass suicide in this nation include family problems, relationship trouble, drug abuse, bankruptcy followed by the ghosts of failed examinations. Apart from these, some farcical categories include ideological causes or hero worship, dowry disputes and the list dwindles down in numbers, but never truly ends.

In an age of technology and social connectivity, despite all the innovation and progress, a part of our society still feels left out and devoid of human interaction. This void creates the need for social acceptance and approval from the group, which are basic human instincts. It is how we evolved as a species. Problems like depression stem from this need. Depression in the Indian setting often goes unnoticed or is wadded off. Age old classics such as “stop being a wuss” or “just grow up” have been voiced for generations.

When platforms such as self harm social groups promoting these feelings of disconnect from the society grow, the problems complicate. A new (actually not) piece or a punching bag in the media circle has been the ‘Blue Whale’ shenanigans. This game, made by 21 year old Russian student, for reasons which aren’t yet clear, but from various unconfirmed sources on the internet, a prime motive was to ‘clear the earth of those who didn’t deserve to live’ as one outlet put it. The game isn’t on either the Apple or Google Playstore, nor is it a website. This ‘game’ has grown out of private chat groups and social media circles which exploit young teens into becoming addicted to the scheme of their plans.

In Russia, from where this game spread to the world, the maker has been charged and jailed for his involvement in persuading two teenage girls aged 16 and 15 into committing suicide. The charges however were only valid enough for him to be awarded a 3 year jail sentence, a decision which has left many activists against the proliferation of the game, angry and deflated. The curators or mods in charge of the game and responsible for assigning tasks and confirming their completion, rely on extracting personal information of the victims and threatening serious actions against family members if the player fails to comply with the demands.

Indian media forums have latched on to the hype train surrounding it and used this as a pedestal to push their agenda of refusing any sort of social media or technology to children. Personally, oversight to an extent could solve the problem, but if the child is being pushed into such serious circles of violent conduct, signs have to be more obvious than censoring all forms of internet interaction. Signals can include finding blades in unusual locations, baggy clothing, lack of social interactions, refusal to be at public events and many more. Half baked solution spit balling and whipping up non existential crises can well alarm parents into overreacting with this situation. Investigations on possible relation of the game with suicides have to be thorough and the same precautionary measures have to be followed by those reporting it.

At the same time, children of an impressionable age could well do without searching for this. Refusal or censorship on the topic and maintaining abstinence will only lead to lack of guidance for many. While senior police officers in some places like Kochi have categorically denied the existence of the Blue Whale Challenge, discarding it as an urban legend is careless attitude. Educating, educating and educating some more can sway the odds in favor of saving a few lives that might fall victim to these ideas of self harm.
"}]
Infosys might be going through some troubled times right now, but that doesn't mean the sheer willpower and perseverance of the founder Narayana Murthy can be ignored or dismissed out of hand.

Coming from a privileged family and born in the Kingdom of Mysore, Mr. Murthy hitchhiked Europe, survived a communist regime which starved him for 108 hours and only let him go because he was from India, fought tooth and nail to build and nurture his company and left behind a legacy today that employs many fresh faced new graduates from engineering colleges and teaches them the ways of the corporate software world. All of this because his resolve to become a consummate capitalist burned within him. Indeed, Infosys can only be described as one of the pioneer companies in India that was right where it was supposed to be when in 1991, the Congress government led by PV Narasimha Rao opened the floodgates to it's economy. India's fate, after that day, would never be the same again.

Having established Infosys in 1981 and built his empire for the decades to come, Narayana Murthy's legacy has touched many a lives, nurturing careers and being the spearhead of the Indian IT boom. I've picked 5 life lessons you can learn from him for this article, they are as follows.

1. Simplicity is King:

One thing that has always surprised me about Mr. Murthy is his ability to keep it simple, both in his personal life and his professional one. This is not to say he wasn't ambitious, he had clear cut goals for himself and his company and he never shied away from learning something new. My habit of reading every book I could possibly lay my hands upon came from him, because he spent whatever money he earned on a simple life and a lot of books. Although I wouldn't say I have a simple life, being as privileged I am, I do spent all the money I get on buying books.

Mr. Murthy's no compromise policy when it came to his company and a self-imposed frugal lifestyle is now stuff of legends.

2. The Entrepreneurial Spirit:

Mr. Murthy was a changed man the day he returned from his hitchhiking trip, after having been pulled out of his journey and starved for 108 hours until the secret police put him in a train to Istanbul. It gave him an unquenchable thirst to become an entrepreneur because he finally realised that the only way to alleviate people from poverty was to create jobs and provide to the people the means to learn and adapt. That was his story, and it asks us a question, what is your story? If you want to change the world with your entrepreneurship, what are you doing today?

3. Trust, but verify:

As with any entrepreneur, always trust the people you hire, but verify it with data first. The numbers don't lie, unless they've been fudged, of course. Speaking of fudging the numbers...

4. Honesty is the best policy:

The industry swears by Narayana Murthy's penchant for honesty, especially when a deal is on shaky ground. The transparent way he ran the company gave it a reputation that it still enjoys to this day.

5. Sic Parvis Magna:

Now I'm sure Narayana Murthy must've heard of the above term, but for the uninitiated, Sic Parvis Magna is Latin for 'Greatness from small beginnings', which basically is his entire life story. Borrowing Rs. 10,000 from Mrs. Sudha Murthy after having failed his first venture in the mid 70s, Mr. Murthy went on to build Infosys to what it is today, and he started small, not afraid of what would happen. He always had a clear idea of where he was going with the company and in the end, he made it.

Not all children in India are lucky to enjoy their childhood. Many of them are forced to work under inhuman conditions where their miseries know no end. Though there are laws banning child labour, still children continue to be exploited as cheap labour. It is because the authorities are unable to implement the laws meant to protect children from being engaged as labourers.

Unfortunately, the actual number of child labourers in India goes un-detected. Children are forced to work is completely unregulated condition without adequate food, proper wages, and rest. They are subjected to physical, sexual and emotional abuse.....

Conclusion: Government authorities and civil society organisations need to work in tandem to free children engaged in labour under abysmal conditions. They need to be rescued from exploitative working conditions and supported with adequate education..!!
"}]

As weird as it may sound, There is a theory called 'cockroach theory'.Once a young scientist was having his cup of coffee in a restaurant. Then suddenly, out of nowhere a cockroach came flying and landed on one of the shoulders of a lady sitting in front of his table.

she jumped and screamed in horror, trying to shake it off, then it landed on another woman and now it was her turn to panic.A waiter rushed towards them to handle the situation. The cockroach jumped onto him, but he didn't panic. He stayed calm and observed the movements of the cockroach and when he was confident enough, he grabbed it and threw it away.

Witnessing the whole incident, the scientist thought to himself if the cockroach was really responsible for the havoc created and came up with this theory. He proposed that it is actually our inability to handle a situation which makes us unstable, nervous, depressed, e.t.c.

Our brain is so powerful and wonderful that it can mechanize the body at any extent of damage to heal itself.Scientists have constantly been researching and conducting experiments to know the potential of a human brain. The results were amazing.

They conducted a research on two groups of people suffering from the same disease. One group were given the prescribed medication and the other group were given sugar pills in the name of medicine. Both the groups showed equally positive results. This phenomenon is called 'THE PLACEBO EFFECT' and it worked even if the people knew that the pills were actually sugar pills.

This is an example of what our brain is capable of doing. All these effects depend on our belief.BELIEVE, BELIEVE and BELIEVE is all you have to do to reach your goals, my friends.

Believe you are INVINCIBLE.

Believe you can FULFILL YOUR DREAMS.

Believe you can be SUCCESSFUL.

Believe in YOURSELF.

As Swami Vivekananda said,"All power lies within you","If you believe you are strong, you will be strong. If you believe you are weak, you will be weak.".

All it depends on is how you see yourself rather than what others see in you.A person who BELIEVES in himself will be successful as IT IS what it takes to be successful.

Being self-confident doesn't mean over confidence.Self-confidence comes from hard work and determination you put on your dreams or goals. The level of confidence determines the rate of success.

I, hereby end this by saying

"LIVE YOUR DREAMS.DREAMS BECOME REALITY AS YOU WORK ON THEM."

Thank you for reading.
"}]
LIBERTY
This is the story of every girl of this generation
Liberty.. in true sense.. is state of being free in the society, without any restrictions.
U may have all the freedom to find our love/ life partner... Actually u should.. because till then no can rule your life... u can make your parents understand.. or fight.. cry.. threaten, what not.. because they are your parents.. their love is unconditional.. they want to see you happy.. ultimately they may accept your choice... or else you are even ready to forget them.. for your love.. this is all because u feel that you have that right to choose
But true story starts when u use this freedom... Once u use this freedom... Forget all other things of your life.. your friends, family, WhatsApp, facebook, instagram, your dressing style, your way of talking, your ideas, your opinions your feelings, emotions and yourself..forget that you are a human being...
You are called a whore.. if u talk to boys (Be that of any age..) you cannot wear what u want .. u cannot speak what u want .. u cannot go anywhere you want to....
And u you knw... These are all for your safety...because.. u should be safe and it is absolutely ok if you are not happy... "Congratulations! You've made it this far."

Working relentlessly and tirelessly for the couple or more years, you've now entered the college that you deserved. Deserved, because you've outdone umpteen number of your fellow competitors and finally raced to the end with flying colors. Not necessarily the college or the discipline that you aspired to be in at the first place, but it's high time you move on with what's in your hand. Sounds a bit bitter to your part but it's better to focus on building it up from now on rather digging out the regrets of the past.

For a freshman stepping into the college, it's important that one acknowledges his/her efforts being made by far and prepare themselves for the next big thing in their life. Their primary purpose from here is to graduate with a Bachelor's degree, preferably with good grades. However, that isn't the sole aspect that your college covers.

College is the place where you build yourself all-around. Be it your personality, skills or interpersonal relationships, these are all the criterion that one should look forward to in their college years. For all such developments, the students ought to participate in the various student committees of the college. And this participation accounts for your discipline, hard work, and the enthusiasm to contribute towards your university and at the same time, improving yourself. But you aren't in the college to do all these things at the first place, right?

The quintessential manner to utilize this time of your life completely is to strike a perfect balance between academics and the extra-curricular. Both are equally important for you in the long run and you shouldn't let go of these years overlooking either of them. Instead, invest your time in the activities that you believe should be useful for you in your life ahead.

Rather than *only* binge watching all the Animes, or playing Video Games, or using your PC for other 'healthy purposes', get involved in some social exercises. Meet new people, interact with your seniors who've been in your shoes before some years back. Get to know about what to prioritize when and identify what should be your stoichiometric composition of reactions in order to bring out your Balanced Equation.

'Cause the more you know about life, the better you live it.
"}]
In the year 2016, the video game industry hit a total turnover of a whopping $91 billion and shows absolutely no signs of stopping. Starting only a few short decades ago, advancements in technology and increasing ease of access to computers and home consoles lead games to become more complex as the years went by, turning from something as simple as a Pong game into full blown experiences like today's' multi million dollar projects like Grand Theft Auto, Red Dead Redemption, The Last of Us, and also spawned an entire new genre in sports called eSports.

However, gaming remains somewhat of a niche in India. While the percentage of the population that had access to and played video games has been quite limited, this number is growing, and it is about time that India joins the world in not just playing games, but making them. Many studios have popped up around India, making their mark on the game development scene, but one studio has set its sights on achieving something much greater. Today, we interview the developers behind Raji: An Ancient Epic, Nodding Head Studios.

Speaking with stuMagz over the phone, game designer Avichal Singh took us through the story of the development so far, and the road ahead.

"On New Year's Eve of 2013, I was in Jaisalmer, Rajasthan, visiting its many forts," Avichal begins, on being asked how the idea behind the game came to be, "I was completely enchanted by the architecture of the forts and started to think, it would be a fantastic idea to have a game in this setting."

It was then, after being moved by the architecture and history of Rajasthan, that Avichal along with Shruti Ghosh and Ian Maude, started Nodding Head studios together.

"It took a few short years but we came together and formed the studio," Avichal says, "today we are a team of 7 working on the game, and we've been working a lot," he laughs.

While Avichal is the Game Designer, fellow founders Shruti Ghosh and Ian Maude are Game Artists. The rest of the team has Paras Chaudhary as Programmer, Anirudh Singh who is a Concept Artist, Himanshu Thakur as Animator and Linus Tezlos, the Sound Designer and Composer.

Speaking about the game, Avichal says "We wanted to put India on the map with this game. The early concept art we showed to friends and family amazed them and we thought, yes we have something good on our hands. Some of the concept art you can see on our website and Facebook page has been done by hand by Shruti herself. It is quite a personal project."

Talking about the distinctive Indian feel of the game and how it was achieved, Avichal says, "The forts of Rajasthan played a major role in the design of the world, we knew we had to take it to the world. The initial response even on social media has been quite encouraging."

The isometric view gameplay of Raji: An Ancient Epic, will feature environmental puzzles and a fluid and gritty combat system, "Raji is blessed by the gods in the game and has access to different weapons. We're also adding a power system as well as a Favour of the Gods feature which basically means Raji will get different powers depending on which gods she chooses to favour," Avichal explains, "The combat will have a weight to it depending on the weapon you're using. In the early screenshots, you can see Raji use a Trishul, but there will be more weapons as you progress."

An element of strategy is also involved as Raji, and by extension, the player will have to choose the enemy she takes on first in a fight where she's outnumbered.

The story, as Avichal explains to us, is quite simple, "There's an invasion of the demonic horde, and when she wakes up the world as she knows it has changed, and her brother is missing. At its core, it is a story of a sister looking for her brother, a sibling story if you will," he says, "we didn't want to go with the cliche damsel in distress story and wanted to do something different."

As our interview draws to a close, we ask Avichal which games the team draws inspiration from, "I would say Bastion," referring to a critically acclaimed and universally loved isometric adventure game developed by Supergiant Games, "and Journey. Journey has been a major inspiration because of how it handles its world and just how beautiful it is." We concur, Journey, a PlayStation exclusive, has been an emotional experience to many players, and it is one of those games one must play to truly experience, there are no words to describe it.

Asking about the potential release date of Raji: An Ancient Epic, Avichal says, "I'd say the first quarter of 2019. We're going on Kickstarter this November to raise funds and continue developing. We are very excited for people to see more of the game and play it soon."

Depending on whom you ask, gamers will tell you that games have transcended being simply 'fun' and have become art, a great example of this is the aforementioned Bastion, which combines beautiful art with fun gameplay and is a game which we highly recommend. Raji: An Ancient Epic is perhaps the first game we've seen that has felt so very distinctly Indian and we absolutely cannot wait for the game to release.
