There are groups of societies across the world that believe that the Earth is flat\u2026doesn\u2019t that sound crazy? So, let\u2019s know a bit about these societies.<\/p><p>The flat earth societies are a typical group of people who simply believe that the earth is flat. These societies and beliefs of this kind are not new to the world. It was a common belief back then, although people like Pythagoras and Aristotle drawn decent conclusions which reveal that the Earth is a Sphere unlike the popular belief that it is flat, people never tend to believe them. It was all religion which was superior to science back then and as the religion stated, people believed that the Earth is flat. But, as years passed by and science gradually took pace, some greatest minds of all time started to prove the Earth is a Sphere quite convincingly. This made the Flat Earth believers a bunch of jerks. Now, we certainly believe that the Earth is a Sphere (precisely, it\u2019s an Oblate spheroid) from our advanced tech and data from our satellites. The Flat Earth theorists didn\u2019t give up, the thing is they propose that every scientific detail and evidence that proves the Earth is not flat is a hoax and they make up their own theories to support their ideas. But, every time they are proved wrong, they come up with yet another theory. Their power lies in being vague. To take it to a new level on our weird scale, they now showcase their theories on popular social media stages and draw a good number of supporters.
