Pradeep mewada, a 13-year-old resident of Raipur Nayakheda village, Sehore District, Madhya Pradesh was inspired by the teachings of an NGO about the importance of sanitation and problems caused due to open defecation. He with 9 other children had decided to spread awareness among the villagers and restrict them from defecating in the open. The \u201cDabba dol\u201d gang would wake up at the crack of dawn and go around in the village whistling and spilling water in the vessels if they encountered any. This act alarmed those who were defecating in the open.
