Changing your path isn’t failing

Successful people -- and entrepreneurs especially -- are driven by their goals. It’s a fine line, though, between goals that inspire and goals that trap. The best stories about entrepreneurs are full of fresh starts and unexpected detours. If you find yourself disliking what you’re doing, or feeling frustrated even when things are going well, think about making a new plan. Changing your path isn’t bad or wrong or failing -- it’s simply a new choice, and often the right one.

Never perceive anything as a setback

Circumstances can spiral out of control -- plans tank, products fail, companies come apart. When something is running off the road you can be consumed by it, or you can realize that what you took to heart before isn’t your reality anymore, and the seeming chaos around you disguises a new reality. Don’t beat yourself up about it, don't mourn the wasted time and the discarded mission. Negative experiences aren’t a setback, they’re a chance to make new decisions that are right for you.

However bad the situation, there’s always an angle

When things get rough, take five minutes and give free rein to let it all out. Find a private place, get mad or cry, let whatever’s struggling inside you get out. Then get to work finding the angle. There’s always an angle, and a path forward to success. Usually, it involves getting over yourself. Whatever your emotions, stop thinking it’s about you. Recognize that you’re in service to something larger than yourself -- your company, your staff, the people who depend on you. That’s where you’ll find the angle you need, beyond your emotions, and outside of yourself.

Success looks different to different people

We can all relate to the true believer who challenges conventional wisdom and beats the odds. When we make these challenges, our parents, bosses, society at large – insert appropriate authority figure – sometimes just won’t see it our way. But often it’s our own internal schoolmaster that’s the barrier we need to overcome. We persist in judging ourselves by standards that once seemed essential, but have outlived their usefulness. In fact, there are many different ways to succeed. The important thing is being comfortable with knowing there is more than one right answer.

It’s a never-ending experience

Is it ever time to stop chasing perfection? No. Chasing perfection is the opposite of a hamster wheel or rat race. It’s about your never-ending pursuit of happiness. The sooner in life that we master the flexible mindset needed for continuous evolution, the better.

Vince Lombardi said it best:

“We will chase perfection, knowing all the while we can never attain it. But along the way, we shall catch excellence.”
"}]
I was frantic and in a tizzy very recently, now lest your mind starts ticking and according various reasons to that, let me quickly put an end to your conjectures and tell you that it was for no other reason than my hair dresser taking ill and cancelling my Monday morning appointment. Mondays as you know are the start of the week and I always start my week with a proper hair set and well planned out clothes for the whole week taking into careful consideration and to suit the engagements and assignments that I have lined up. My PR career has also awarded me a degree in crisis management and this my friends was a kind of crisis wasn’t it? Not to don your regular work hair style and to quickly change the clothes for the day to suit the style which the new stylist would be adept at. Needless to say frayed tempers, numerous telephone calls, mad rushes from one location to another, fingers crossed through traffic jams and bottle necks saw me eventually face the Monday office routine with a smart albeit a different appearance than planned. My new hairdo was no ordinary one, for it sat on a smart thinking head and that’s when my thoughts progressed towards the need for smart appearances and dressing for success.

Be it any profession unless you are uniformed, sparing some time on your daily appearance does take you a long way. Power dressing or just dressing you can choose your prefixes and suffixes but they do their bit by adding to and enhancing your appearance. Picture a scenario, when you are faced with an individual who comes in with crumpled unironed clothes , unruly hair , finger nails unclipped and dirty or even if we don’t go to that extreme let’s say there are two broad and distinct categories of individuals – Ones who spend time on their appearance and the ones who don’t consider it important enough.

Let me attempt a quick clarification here- by time I do not mean wasteful hours at the cost of other important activities and by clothes not only designer expensive brands but functional and good clothes which contribute to your smart and professional image. Not many would disagree that power dressing is as unique as the individual himself/ herself and contributes to their overall success in terms of noticeability, position, authority and seriousness of purpose.

A well dressed individual definitely conveys the impression that they mean business. It is highly likely that since power dressing exudes power, there are fewer chances of people ending up arguing with you for various reasons, superiors too would refrain from rebuking you unless you have created an absolute mess at work and it is completely unavoidable. The general belief being that if these well dressed individuals have taken the time out to work on their appearance, it indirectly also conveys the message that they will take care to work and devote adequate time to whatever they are handed out or are currently handling. They mean business. What you wear directly influences your body language and confidence. Well dressed individuals carry themselves well and create a generally good impression and send out positive and good vibes.

Many of you may well argue and rightly so, that only good clothes are not a mark of your intelligence and expertise at work but they do give you the edge to convey what lies beneath by creating an appealing exterior. The right clothing is unarguably a confidence and morale booster.

Your clothing contributes to your first impression and makes people perceive you in a certain way. So the next time you complain of lack of time and mouth the “ I am in a tearing hurry ,” next time you reach out for that unironed shirt or a hasty mix and match combo , stop, pause and think , think what difference you would have made had you just planned it a night in advance. Your clothing, your hair your outer appearance though not endowed with a mouth do speak and speak volumes. They go a long way in creating BRAND YOU - therefore it’s important that you recognize it as a living entity that walks with you and accompanies you throughout your life !

Love is an ocean,

Let us wander about to measure the fathoms,

But my love, let me not sink within the deepest oceans of love!

Love is a diamond,

Let us go through every test which turns the stone to diamond to shimmer magnificently,

Let the diamond be embedded in the jewel that embraces my neck,

But my love, let it not cut my throat to take the life out of me!

Love is a power,

Let it be my strength,

But my love, let it never weaken me!

Love is noble,

Let us forget and forgive,

But my love, forget the past and not the love!

I am happy that I got the good lesson, that my heart became more stronger as a precious stone(diamond).

Turn into a wonderful person by your own, so that again you will not get the chance to regret. Bonds or relations today you may feel important but nothing has the 'worth' as "YOU"'.

"To be inspired is Great, to inspire is Incredible."

Be the one that never sinks in the ocean, not at saying like that, the one that floats 101 times even it sinks 100 times.

Be the one to many, instead of you having the one. Love yourself forwhat you are, live your present beautifully. Plan and work for your future wonderfully.
"}]
Why do we do what we do .? I always brood myself a question "Why do I do what I do" ? An another related question "Why do I do what others do"? And "Why do others do what I do"? Got confused..? Good ! did I confused you ? Most of us work daily without put off , but for what ? Many people will say for good future ,happiness and bright future ! Is that what we are living for?

We like to elicit happiness of whatever we do .Happiness is the destination inevitably and universally . Do we need to ponder too long over why we seek happiness ? Not really , seeking trait is an instance of absolute truth . Doing what we do has to be contextual and appropriate to deliver success in the overall happiness .This emotion , that is happiness is the subjective reflection of corresponding evolution . Do we need to ponder too long over why there has to be evolution in the universe . ? Not really .Evolution is the inevitable mechanism of happiness.

Doing what we do has three lobes of consequence . The three lobes are reorganization , happiness and empowerment . Exercise of intellect is the triggering act that ought to be oriented in the direction of dream . Dream is eternal , universal and absolute desire to be higher and better .Thus the reason behind what we do has five components : dream , exercise of intellect , reorganization (evolve), happiness and empowerment to dream higher-intellect-evolution-happiness chain.

Why we look for happiness ? Why can't we see it ? Nothing good comes without work..!!Why this? Why do many people look for happiness (though we can't see it ?) to pull their work hard but for what ? Have you asked yourself ? Why you do what you are doing ? Actually , I didn't get the answer yet , but if anyone know I will appreciate his/her in helping me to get the answer.

Howdy true believers, lovers and friends, today we're gathered to discuss a tale both gruesome and awesome about a man who became legend of the Heavy Metal world overnight after an infamous concert on January 20, 1982 in Des Moines, Iowa, United States. You see, this man today is regarded as a heavy metal god, having being the front man of the epic Black Sabbath and also breaking off into a successful and fantastic solo career that would cement his legacy as The God of Heavy Metal for years to come, even to this day and for more days ahead. This man, who took so many drugs in the late 70s and 80s, it is a miracle that he is still alive to to this day while also occasionally performing every now and then, so shocked are we fans that we are certain he made a deal with the devil himself, while some of us are convinced that he is the devil in disguise because of his indomitable guitar skills.

I'm talking, of course, about Heavy Metal legend Ozzy Osborne and the day that would propel him into international fame while also forcing him to get treated for rabies.

Before we continue, let me remind everyone reading that drugs are incredibly harmful to a person and just because Ozzy Osborne snorted enough blow to keep the entire country high for a year and still survived to this day does not mean you can do the same. Stay away from drugs, it will ruin your life. Some of you are not even rockstars.

So, on that fateful day, January 20th, 1982, Osborne, who was at the height of his drug abuse problem, was on stage giving his power packed performance when someone from the ground threw what looked like a bat on stage. Osborne, in a show of what he believed power and bravado, picked up the bat and bit it's head off.

Live. In front of thousands of people.

The incident would shock the world and give baby boomer parents more reasons to shake their fists at Heavy Metal concerts and say 'see, we told you Heavy Metal music is from the devil!' while also cementing the legend that would be Ozzy Osborne, a man so high and so into his own music that he straight up bit off a live bat's head off on the stage.

Ozzy would later reveal that he thought it was a rubber bat and he wanted to bit its head off as part of his on stage persona, but it turned out to be real and ended up biting him back. Now bats, apart from being just creepy, also carry rabies and if you ever get bitten by one, you'll need to get all the rabies injections required to, well, not die of rabies.

So here's this dude, a man who has certainly done enough drugs to keep the entire world high for a day, biting a bat's head off on the stage - the most metal thing to have happened in a concert till then - get bitten by it, survive the drugs and the rabies injections and still live to tell the tale.

If that doesn't tell you that Ozzy Osborne is the God of Heavy Metal, I don't know what else will. Which is why I'm writing this in his honour on the anniversary of that incident, one that would give him an infamous legacy, one that is still discussed actively among Heavy Metal fans, and one that is the first thing a person hearing about Osborne is told.

That's how much of a legend he is.
"}]
No seriously, I'll tell you later.

Meta jokes are my favourite kinda jokes. They're also kind of elitist but that's besides the point. Coming to the matter at hand, everyone wants to work hard tomorrow, the biggest problem that I think today's youth faces, outside of dealing with a crippled economy, a job market that will never pay them as much as their parents were paid and house prices that will probably make them loan slaves for the rest of their lives or run after renting houses once they get married or start living on their own.

Yeah, it's a scary world out there, the best we can do is do our best to survive it, and nobody who is the best procrastinates.

So how does one beat procrastination?

1. The Why?

Despite being widely talked about, procrastination strikes one and strikes all, it is the case with anyone that has a human brain and can function well. It's just who we are as people, we often give excuses to ourselves when it comes to getting the task at hand over with and that, well, that won't fly anymore.

Next time you feel like procrastinating, stop, sit down, and think why. Why do you want to procrastinate? Is it because your mood is bad? What is causing the foul mood? Can you fix it? If yes, fix it and continue, if no, there's no point in pondering over it, procrastinating and adding the current matter at hand to your list of worries, thus adding fuel to your bad mood fire.

So just do it!

3. The How:

Breaking down why you're procrastinating can take some practice, but it requires examination of your own self and understanding the issues that are causing you to put off the current task at hand. It could be any number of reasons from something bothering you about your personal life to just plain old overconfidence. Deconstruct it, destroy it, work around it, become a champion.

4. The Doing:

I frankly need to work a little harder on my side headings because this one sounds like a terrible Hollywood Horror B-movie.

You can be the best planner in the world but it won't mean anything if you carefully deconstruct your reasons to procrastinate and still do nothing. You've got to remember that you have a goal in life and to reach there, you gotta hustle man. So hustle! Do it now!

Right now I'm thirsty as all hell but I'm sitting on my bed still writing this because I know that when I have a sip of water after I finish this article, it'll feel like the sweetest reward because I stuck to my guns and saw my work finished before I allowed myself some room to breathe. There's no time like there present, boys and girls and every other gender you identify yourself as, so do it now and always remember to enjoy your small victories with a small pat on your back to motivate yourself. I mean sure, the usual ways of beating boredom are watching that TV show or going out for a drive or something but are there any definitive methods to tackle boredom head on, instead of just starting something and leaving it mid way because you are so bored even interesting things seem boring? Turns out, there is. Here's how.

1. Introspect:

The most important step. Boredom can often result from procrastination and a way of the brain telling your body that you are putting off something important instead of doing it but since your body is as stubborn as your brain (sometimes) the end result is lying down on bed doing nothing while time, precious time, slips away and then you panic and try to rush last minute work and end up making a shoddy job but manage to pass it off somehow because mediocrity is not just the norm, it is the way of life in India.

But hey I went off on a tangent there. The point is, when you're bored, think about what you really want to do, introspect and think hard about what you should be doing and what you want to do, it's kinda important.

2. Have goals in mind:

You know how Cardio is the least favourite part of everyone's gym routine, right? Have you ever wondered why?

Because it is boring. Yes, cardio is boring and there are various reasons for it, but perhaps the most crucial reason it is the way it is because during cardio it is easy to lose sight of the goal and continue doing the same thing while the machine runs out of time and kicks you off.

I've personally found that cardio workouts after I check my weight and find that I've made progress are much more likely to motivate me to push harder during cardio than regular days when I'm just like 'when will this boredom end?'

So, always keep a clear cut path to the goal in your mind, and just do it. Speaking of which....

3. Do not procrastinate:

I'll tell you more about this later.

4. Write down your goals and put it on your desk:

In our capitalistic society, boredom at work means you are literally useless to the company because companies value the money you can bring in over the person you are. What, did you think the HR's human policy cares for you? Haha, wake up and smell the coffee!

I should stop going on tangents.

Anyway, the type of economic system notwithstanding, boredom at work can seriously affect your performance and if you are someone who loves your job and have grown increasingly disillusioned with the way things are run, it is totally understandable, but that does not mean you loose sight of the goal. 5. Cut off your distractions:

In November, I deleted the Facebook app from my phone and activated two factor authentication for my Facebook profile. This effectively makes me manually request for an OTP through the browser and every time I feel like the need to login, I reach this stage and think na, it's not worth it. It has become an effective blocker of my Facebook activity and I couldn't be more happier without social media.

I also deleted my twitter account but that's a different story (also Snapchat and Instagram. I'm currently living outside Millennial Law) and my productivity has gone up considerably. I'm reading and watching movies in my free time a lot more than I used to and I'm focusing on finishing video games to 100%, something I couldn't do before. How awesome is that

Ustad Imrat Khan is one of the world's greatest players of the surbahar, a deep-toned, sitar-like stringed instrument that was developed by his great-grandfather, Ustad Sahabdad Khan, and Ustad Imdad Khan. With its four-octave range, the instrument is used to play the ultra-strict dhrupad style of Indian classical music.

Still young when his father died, Imrat Khan was taught to play the surbahar and to sing in the highly ornamental classical vocal style of khyal by his mother, Bashiran Begum, and his maternal grandfather, Ustad Bandeh Hassan. Forming one of the first sitar-and-surbahad duos with his older brother, Vilayat Khan, Imrat helped to pioneer the unique gayaki ang ("vocal manner") approach to Indian instrumental music.

In 1956, the two brothers were invited to accompany the first Indian cultural delegation to the Soviet Union and Eastern Europe. Although they elected to go their separate ways, Imrat and Vilayat have both continued to play major roles in the evolution of Indian classical music. Teaching at Dartington College of the Arts in England from 1968 to 1970, Imrat became the first Indian classical musician to perform at the Royal Albert Hall in London, England, in 1971.

He received a prestigious Sangeet Natak Akademi Award from the president of India in 1988. During the '90s, Imrat performed many shows and recorded with his four sons: Nishat (sitar), Irshad (sitar), Wajahat (sarod), and Shafaatullah (tabla). Imrat composed and/or performed on Satyajit Ray's Jalsaghar (Le Salon de Musique), and the soundtracks of such films as James Ivory's The Guru and the Michael Caine/Sidney Poitier-starring movie The Wilby Conspiracy.
