"Every great dream begins with a dreamer. Always remember, you have within you the strength, the patience, and the passion to reach for the stars to change the world."

In this article we feature one such talent, which turned into a passion and has won him Records - Yogender.

S.Yogender is an Under graduate pursuing his B.Tech degree at Anurag University major in computer science. His hobbies include making micro-arts, drawing, travelling. His goal is to become an entrepreneur.

Let us see his views on different questions.

1) When did it all start, how did you develop your interest in arts?

When I was studying in intermediate, I saw one of my seniors doing micro-arts. So, from then I was interested to learn from him. But my senior denied helping me. So, I have decided to learn myself. I started learning step by step. In the first stage, I couldn’t even have a grip on the pencil. Slowly by practising and keeping more interest in it I realised that I could make micro arts much better than my senior. Later, I decided to earn money from it thinking that this is my new and unique skill.

I have developed my interest in art by doing it frequently but in different ways. Like, in my first stage I have done the art using chalks later I started trying the same on the pencil, and rice grains. I have modified it and made keychains, and little bottles from it.

2) Are you good at any other arts?

Besides micro arts, I am also good at drawing. I have a lot of interest in doing sketches of different animations. Rather than this, I can draw sketches of a person by taking reference to their face.

3) How did you feel on your achievements?

I achieved VAJRA WORLD RECORD and BARVO INTERNATIONAL BOOK OF WORLD RECORD, for Rubik's cube which is smaller than a rice grain and also Radio smaller than a rice grain.

It's a dream come true moment for every passionate person... like that dream became real in my life too. Having a passion and following it in the right way gives us more benefits and happiness from it.

4) How can you earn from it, or find it as a profession?

By selling my arts according to the need of the customer(customised arts), advertising them on my social media platforms made me earn money from it. So, I find it one of my professions.

Yogender believes that hard work put together with passion one day, will sure bring you laurels.
Never let your passion die!"}]
Rakshabandhan is conventionally a day marked to celebrate the bond between a brother and sister. The sister ties a rakhi on her brother’s wrist and prays for his well being. Whereas, the brother vows to protect his sister from all woes.

College Life…

Being exhausted listening to the words stating “Your life will be settled after 10th “, happily clearing 10th board then got to know that 10th was just the primary step, one needs to complete 12th to become a free bird, struggling day and night; avoiding television, Netflix, Prime and finally making way into a supreme College Life.

Expectations and Reality….

On the very first day of college, we’ll get to know that it wasn’t the same as “Happy Days “neither expect something like “3 Iodits “nor something exceptional like “Chichorre “.
Yeah, indeed, we may not get coincidental with all those incidents but it gives us total assurance of getting characters of them as our “Forever kind of Friends “.

It’s pretty hard to digest but your entire career ends up in completing assignments and there is no hesitation that Management will turn you out into a Certificate Generating Machine.
Most of the time you tend to bunk the classes and prepare effectively just to say the reason of getting ill and headache which was still your school days excuse.
There are rare people of “Vibranium” found in the library and the rest in the canteen and play zone, some people just sit under trees wherein they take important decisions in life or regret late realisations on getting admission in a freaky college interpreting Buddha’s enlightenment.

Education…

People crying for that single mark short of a hundred in school get to realize that the entire six months syllabus can be learned just a day before the exam, maybe for ultra-legends, it can be the night before the exam, The so-called “one-day batting.”
Instead of understanding the concepts and experimenting or innovating something we master by cheating the exams without being caught and elaborating the tricks anticipatedly instead of preparing a topic that can make us pass the exam.

Everything we do is just to perceive the degree and get the hell out of college. it’s quite obvious that at some point we were confident of the phrase “A single piece of paper cannot decide my future”, that silly things still put a smile on my face.

Friends and best friends ….

Maybe God had a plan for me like he just threw me into this particular college to make my life completely ruined with the best buddy who always carries unluck and sticks to me like fevikwik, but whatever is said and done in the end that one friend will become the huge part of life, someone whom you can trust blindly, someone whom you feel is born to be humiliated, whom you can tease for every single moment and that’s their sole purpose of life.

Lovers and Love stories……..

Don’t know why me like “why only me god, what wrong did I do, why am I still single!!?”, yeah this was the feeling we used to get whenever we witness lovers with their so-called “romantic chemistry” or physics. Cringe!! I mean something beautiful conversations, that possessiveness, so much care just lets to create the fantasies or increase that count but couldn’t bring them into reality…

Lecturers and their pets….

I wonder if this is the same routine in every college!! Seriously, there are always a few intellectuals in every class who behave like a mini 2.0 version of the lecturer. Sometimes they are the ones who make the whole class get nagged by professors. And so there are other categories of people who brag about lecturers and lab assistants to make the tables turn towards them during exams. They seriously then feel it as if it’s their “show-time”.

Tom & Jerry fights and melodramatic scenes…

It is assumed that every class has the dramebaazi gang, the notorious gang, the show-off gang, the studious gang, and many avatars. All the sulking beauties and their theory of explanation for every small fight are never understood.

That fights in a classroom to a corridor or even in the washroom for just a silly reason never let our gang divide apart, we may be having cold and civil wars but another person sneaking into our gang makes us go for a call “Avengers!! Assemble”. We become ultra possessive and one can turn into a “Hulk” at that very instance. But one fine day having a cup of tea and gazing at that clear sky and shiny rays makes us feel ashamed of how crazy we were then.

Realizing facts of life…

All the efforts we put in, that hard work, and one common feeling of all “Why only me...Why does it happen to me...Why am I so unlucky..” resulted in depression and getting stuck in the newly launched prestige pressure cooker.

At times sitting in a corner and thinking deeply about our life and thoughts flow like..”Is life all about taking birth, struggling to live, giving birth, providing them with the security of life, and then one day making every single person cry watching you die?
Then we get to know it isn’t about getting a job and satisfying everyone’s needs and expectations, it’s about living to the fullest that the world has never witnessed with all joy and glory.

This is the ludicrous journey of every engineering student...and so MINE too…
Join the community, say Wakanda Forever...

I hope this blog rode you on the journey of your sweet College Life

It is actually perplexing to answer the question “what is the difference between a CV and a Resume?

The answer is more straightforward than we’d think: a CV and a resume serve the same purpose. The only difference? The major difference lies in the length, layout and purpose of the documents. A resume can be one or two pages long whereas a CV has no limit.

What is a CV?

The term CV is actually the Latin word Curriculum Vitae, which means “the course of your life”.

A CV is a very in-depth document that describes our career journey step-by-step,
including all sorts of personal information. It is a longer academic diary that includes all our experience, certificates, and publications. We must update our CV every time we accomplish something new academically or professionally. Whenever we get a new job, publish something new, obtain a new certificate and so on, we can update them to our CV.

There is no standard rule on how long a CV should be, depending on the amount of experience it can range from 2 to 8 pages.

What to include on a CV?

1) Full Name

2) Contact information

3) Professional title, resume summary or resume objective

4) Research interests

5) Education

6) Publications(both academic papers and books)

7) Work experience

8) Conferences and courses

9) Skills

10) Certificates

11) Languages

12) References

What is a Resume?

A resume is a short, straight-to-the-point, document created for the purpose of applying to a specific job. We have to keep a resume as short as possible. In 99% of the cases, a resume must be of 1-page max. If we have more than 15 years of experience, or we really feel that extra information will add value to our application, we can make it 2 pages.

In a resume, we should only mention the aspects of work experience and skills that are relevant to the job we are applying for. We have to highlight the contributions that we have made in our previous work and showcase how our skills can be useful for the position we are applying to.

What to include on a Resume?

2) Job title, or the name of the position we are applying for

3) Contact information

4) Resume summary or objective

5) Work experience

6) Education

7) Relevant skills

8) Languages and proficiency

9) Relevant certifications and interests(if any)

This is actually a clear idea about the differences between the CV and the Resume.
But here’s where it gets a tiny bit trickier: these differences generally apply in the United States. Americans call it a resume, whereas Europeans call it a CV.
In all of Europe, CV is just a synonym for a resume. So, if we are applying for a job in the EU, and they ask for a CV, we should know that it actually means a resume.

"}]
Everyone desires to be healthy and happy. After all, what good is it to work hard for a long and healthy life if you don't get to enjoy it? In this article, our focus will be just that.

Small steps that you can take to attain a healthy and balanced lifestyle.

It's amazing how we can be so productive and never take care of ourselves. We always make time for the important things like email and calls and yet we dismiss things like exercise and massage and meditation and we never make time for them.

So take a few moments of your day and commit to enjoying some "you time."

Addiction to technology, stress, poor diet, lack of exercise, and isolation all take a toll on your body. Here is how you can recharge your batteries and get the most out of your time.

Eat mindfully not when bored

Suppose you find yourself munching on snacks even when you’re not hungry but feel like you don’t have it in you to resist. You should get to work on that, though.

Eating mindlessly can go out of control and cause further eating disorders. A lot of us use food as a form of coping strategy when we’re stressed and or unhappy.

Distinguish between your need, is it your hunger or a mindless munching. When you’re eating, focus on just that, and avoid the usage of social media and other electronic devices.

Less Proportion

Eating frequently and in fewer proportions has been recommended by quite a few nutritionists. It comes with benefits like -

1) Eating frequently controls appetite and reduces cravings.

2) Going long periods without eating slows metabolism.

3) Eating 5-6 meals a day increases the body’s metabolism.

Your body burns calories while it’s digesting food, and this count is included in the number of calories burnt by your body every day.

Although there have been many debates regarding this if this feels like a right fit for your body you can go for it.

Don’t skip meals

The body begins to produce more cortisol, causing us to become worried and irritable.

Your metabolism may slow down as a result of skipping meals, which could lead to weight gain or make weight loss more challenging.

Skipping meals makes your cells and body seek food, causing you to overeat. We tend to seek junk foods when this happens, all of which don't serve the purpose.

Exercise

In today's world, it is very common for individuals to feel stressed and anxious from their busy lifestyles.

Stress can make sleeping difficult, making you exhausted the next day. It is imperative to have a healthy and balanced lifestyle.

Exercising is one way to help you feel driven and keep up the energy bar. Exercise doesn’t have to be tiring High-Intensity Workout sessions, you can also opt for less intense, more fun exercises.

A few of them include hiking, bike riding, or playing a game of golf or tennis.

The saying goes, "All work and no play makes Jack a dull boy." It's especially true when it comes to your health, both physically and mentally. Concentrate on reducing your stress and enjoying the free time you get.
"}]

Later the online assessment was scheduled on the same day from12:00PM - 2:00PM. It consisted of aptitude & coding sections, to be attempted within 120 minutes on Hackerrank platform. The test was followed by 3 rounds of interviews (2 technical + HR).

Three(3) students fought the battle and achieved victory by bagging the gigantic offer of 13LPA. One of them is Prakruti Gilla who narrated her interview experience as:

1. How was your experience with Celigo?

➔ It was quite good actually. First technical round involved questions on wide range of topics namely,

Database Management Systems-

● What are examples of dbms queries?

● How do you create a table and insert the data into it?

● What is the query to add attributes to a table?

● How do you delete the duplicate records of a table?

Software Engineering-

● What are different software development life cycle (SDLC) models?

● Elaborate about the Waterfall model.

● Explain Agile model.

Beginning twenty (20) minutes of both the technical rounds was all about the projects I have done. I had three projects; machine learning, web development and cisco packet tracer. They mostly concentrated on my machine learning project by asking many questions like,

● What procedure did you follow?

● What were the algorithms and libraries you used?

● What was your role?

● What challenges did you face during that course of time?

● How is your project useful in real-life?

And after that, they also asked me the questions such as,

● What are different OOP concepts?

● What are types of polymorphism?

● What are interfaces and why do you need them?

● Brief about exception handling.

They asked me to write some codes too, which included,

● Program on palindrome.

● Program on strings.

● Program on maximum product of an array.

● Program to determine a prime number.

● Program to swap two numbers without using a third variable.

Spotlight was on the projects.
.

2. So this is all technical, how about your HR interview?

➔ Yeah, the HR interview was also easy. It involved normal questions like,

● Tell me about yourself.

● What are your hobbies?

● Why are you picking a job and not going for higher studies?

● Have you had any previous interview experience?

● If Celigo and other company offer you a job, which one would you prefer and why?

● How is your interview experience so far?

That was it, I remembered.

3. How did you manage to prepare all?

➔ There was no much time since the results were declared on the same day and I had one day for preparation. So, what I did was going through the problems I solved previously. I had a quick look at my projects; steps I followed, technologies and algorithms I applied and so on.

And I went through all the basic programming questions of python, java, c and c++. I also referred to software engineering questions and QA questions since the job role is QA engineer. I tried covering all the network subjects i.e., operating system, computer networks.

On the last day, you can't learn something new. You only need to gush up what you have already learnt.

4. What were the programming languages you focussed on?

➔ See, the thing is not about the programming language but the logic you follow. The interviewer will not specify the language to be used. He/she only looks at your logic or algorithm.

I prefer the python language. So, I have written most of the asked programs in python. But you should have a greater understanding of the basic working principles of a language. Say inheritance, all its 5 types can be implemented using python whereas through java, it is not possible to implement ‘multiple inheritance’.

5. What do you suggest to your juniors?

➔ Know all languages but stick to one language when it comes to coding. Be good with the important data structures and algorithms of that language like arrays, strings, linked lists and so on. Have a good grip on the related problems.

6. So how about the communication skills?

➔ It comes with practice and experience. It's not like I am going to watch a video and improve my communication skills. Have a regular conversation in English which eventually improves your ability. It does not come with a night.

7. How did you feel when you were selected for the job?

➔ It was unbelievable. When my friend called me to say this news, I had to check it myself since it’s only my second interview. It took me some time and I am pretty much happy with that.

8. What are your plans after this? Are you going to work for this company or pursue your higher studies?

➔ I am planning to work for my company. I will figure out the importance of the master degree and then I will go for it. I just can’t rely on others’ opinions. I will try to understand the industry needs and act accordingly.

Extra keypoints are:

● Develop your resume strategically.

● Focus on the key points of your resume.

● Know your resume very well.

● Communication skills are undoubtedly needed.

Thus a fascinating talk ended.

What are the twists you faced in your interview? Share them in the comments.

"}]
A lot of students, when they reach their penultimate year of study tend to start losing interest in their core subject, and those who take up leadership roles in college, like student clubs start gaining interest in management.

You must be wondering what I should do after my B.Tech? Should I go for a master's? Should I take up a job? Write Civils? Or should I take up MBA?

Let me tell you! MBA after B.Tech is a course that is taken up very commonly these days. It is the most treading course every student runs after pursuing B.Tech.

Here are 5 reasons why you should take up MBA after your B.Tech

1) Course Recognition

MBA is a course that is recognized worldwide. It offers a wide scope for opportunities and internships in the management sector while helping build a huge network of alumni globally.

2) Technical and Management Expertise

Today, students with expertise in multiple domains remain to be sort after from the rest of the crowd. Top companies these days prefer candidates who have domain-specific technical knowledge as well as management skills.

3) Become your own boss

Again, not every student does MBA to grab job opportunities in top-notch companies at top managerial positions. Many students who pursue MBA choose to become entrepreneurs and become founders of startup companies.

4) Enhanced Packages

If you want to earn a ransom amount of money then MBA after B.Tech is the best choice you can take. Again, the more amount of experience you gain during your study period the more salaries you get.

Your technical skills combined with managerial skills give an advantage to the company to give a dual role to a single person.

5) Study flexible

A lot of MBA courses provide you with flexible study options like working while studying and distance learning. This helps them to learn required skills while studying, booth at the same time.

Along the same line, not only you must make sure to do this because you love doing it, but not only because everyone’s doing it. Make sure that doing what you love is more important than doing what everyone loves.
"}]
What is white paper, exactly?

A white paper is a piece of information that is typically published by a business or non-profit to emphasise or promote the benefits of a solution, product, or service that it now offers or plans to offer.

How to write a white paper?

Step 1: Select a Topic

● Before you begin writing your white paper, you must first decide on a topic. To select a topic that is both relevant and meaningful, consider the following:

● Is there any element of your industry that has very little content or information available online?

● Is there a specific aspect of your business you'd like to investigate and report on?

● Is there anything your team has done that could be replicated?

Choose a topic that you are well-versed in. White papers are expert documents, so make sure you have enough information to provide and sources or proof to back it up.

Step 2: Carry out in-depth research

Once you've decided on a topic, it's time to start gathering information and data to develop informative content that provides real value.

You can collect data for your white paper from both internal and external sources. The more you research your subject, the more original and beneficial your content will be.

Check all of your facts.

It's in your best interest to share stuff that you know is trustworthy and true. Don't miss this stage, and double-check the facts you get from both previously published articles and interviews.

Step 3: Know Your Audience

Considering your audience is an important component of selecting a topic and creating content for a white paper.

A better understanding of your audience is required; simply taking into account your audience is insufficient. Consider the following:

● What makes this topic appealing to my audience?

● What information does my target audience typically consume?

● How much does my audience know about this subject?

● Which research analysis is more suited for my audience?

Step 4: Create an outline and format for your white paper.
After conducting the necessary research, you are now prepared to create the content. But, before you can unleash your inner storyteller, you must first prepare an outline. This outline will most likely lay the groundwork for a fantastic Table of Contents in the final design.

As an example, here is a simple outline for a white paper:

● Title

● Summary or Abstract

● Introduction

● Section Subheadings

● Footnotes/Sources

● Conclusion

● A good white paper will ultimately result in the reader having an "Aha!" experience.

● Work with document editing software such as Google Docs or Microsoft Word to build an outline for your white paper.

● Use high-level titles for the most important portions of your material, then branch out into subheadings.

● The format of a white paper is a standard document format. Consider a white paper as more of a research paper than a report.

● The distinction is that a report includes conclusions in the executive summary or introduction, but a white paper includes them at the end.

Step 5: Create an Eye-Catching Title

The cover of your white paper is the first thing readers will notice. Make it inviting, captivating, and eye-catching. The main feature of your cover is your title or headline, so pay close attention to it.

Step 6: Compose a Captivating Opening

As previously said, white papers have a conclusion at the end, which means you'll need to greet your readers with a different form of introduction at the start.

Don't reveal too much, but be sure to highlight the key elements.

Step 7: Use Subheadings to Divide the Content

It's time to properly format the content of your white paper at this point. Use subheadings to split up the material within each main part to make it simpler to read.

Step 8: Use data to back up your content

White papers are supposed to be helpful, valuable, and well-researched. And there is no better method to back up your conclusions than with reliable information.

Using verified facts, statistics, quotes, and other data as evidence in your white paper can help your company create authority in its area.

You can utilise data visualisation tools, such as charts, graphs, widgets, maps, and more, to make your data more interesting.

Step 9: Ensure Each Paragraph Has Value

This advice is more crucial than you may realise. A white paper is not a magazine editorial or a fiction novel, therefore avoid using filler words. There must be some value in every sentence.

Step 10: Edit and Proofread

Never skip the editing and proofreading phase. A small error in a title or a redundant sentence might undo all the research and writing effort you've put in.

A white paper guides the reader upward toward a conclusion that will make them feel as if they have learned something significant using thoroughly researched approaches, solutions, and facts.

As I indicated before, a white paper's content leads the reader on a journey from a fundamental issue or claim.

Student Tribe #6

A community where students can expand their network and meet the brightest minds.

College is a place where students should learn how to network, but this is not happening as it should. So, we're building a student community where students can meet new people, make real-world connections, and can also get some opportunities. All you have to do is join a STUDENT TRIBE meet, which happens every Saturday, know more about the community, and evaluate whether or not you will benefit from it. STUDENT TRIBE has built a community of 210 students from various educational institutions throughout Hyderabad in just five meet-ups.

Watch out few glimpses of the week 6 student tribe meet at T-Works, Hyderabad.

We had significant speakers from the EV Industry who engaged with students of the tribe. Later, we had electric bicycles and bikes for test drive to the students of the tribe by the EV companies GHMEV and Hala Mobility.

Have you ever thought about going abroad for your master's after graduating? Finally to experience being independent in its truest meaning, tasting the truest freedom without being scared, getting to know a new culture, lifestyle and a whole new experience… and studying.

Such an enticing thing who doesn’t want that? And many are striving to get a good score in TOFEL, IELTS and many more with their hard work and strong determination. Which can make even a man cry. Even after cracking it with so much effort, many are facing a setback in the visa interview.

The visa interview for students is not actually for immigration, they don't want the students to settle in the country and they want you to come after your study abroad. And they reject you even if there is a slight doubt that “you won't return”.

So we need to prepare ourselves to face the interview for an F-1 visa. So let's get into it.

First and foremost be sure to have all the documents required: your passport, DS-160 confirmation, proof of finances and other important documents which show your home ties, and create a connection which shows your motivation to return to your home country. Like, say that you have a job offer waiting here upon your return. Or say that you have personal or business assets here and presenting the documents related to these also greatly helps, there are many cases where the visa was rejected due to these particular documents.

The interview does not last long so try to be as confident as you can, reach the place before the allotted time and you don’t have to be in a formal. The semi-formal look can also be preferred.

When it comes to the actual interview which doesn’t take even a couple of minutes, you have to be brief about what you are saying and only say what is necessary confidently. Even if you are anxious, which you will obviously be as you see the interview of the person before you, try not to show it.

In the interview, they may ask how many universities you have applied to, why you selected that particular university, and why that particular program. So know the details of the university and program prior to the interview. You have to answer these questions in a way that shows that you are actually just going to study a program but it just so happens to be the United States of America. You need to show that you are not interested in visiting the US.

They may ask you whether you have taken the GMAT or others and you can show them the score if necessary.

Here comes the tough one which may as well decide whether your visa will be accepted or rejected and that is “what’s your plan after the program ends?”. For this one, you have to show strong home ties whether it may be a job offer or you may be a part of a start-up, you also have to show the documents so be prepared.

These are a few tips for the preparation for visa interviews and it is strongly advisable to take mock interviews to have an idea and clarity.

"}]
FRIENDS - a common emotion we all go through. We laugh, we quarrel, we unite, we play, we promise to stay together, and make many memories together both good and bad and laugh at them.

From childhood to adulthood we all are surrounded by people who we call friends. Some come as strangers and become friends, some friends become strangers, and some we never forget.

On this friendship day we thought of bringing back those memories which are associated with you, so, here are some of the craziest characters we meet somewhere or the other.

Types of friends:

1. The Gang Leader

The Gang leader is the person who always shows their domination in a group and leads it. They always tend to make decisions that the group must obey.

2. The 5 minutes bro

We all have this character with whom we get frustrated once in a while. He is the one who comes late and always tells us he will be reaching in 5 minutes but never actually shows up that early.

3. The Cry baby

Late night drama, complaining and sobbing. The person who takes everything to the heart and always feels sad about everything and finds stupid reasons to cry.

4. The Spoiler

Have you ever cancelled a plan as a group because of that ONE friend? If yes, then he/she is the one who fits into this character. This person always cancels at the last moment and shocks the group, eventually cancelling the whole plan.

5. The Non-Sync:

Here comes the highlighted character from the show. He is the most non-sync person who never comes with the context-related talk. He has his own world with his own thoughts. He needs to be dragged into the discussion to make him synchronous. He then sometimes becomes our happy pill.

6.The Dreamer

Big ambitions, discipline, and hard work - resemble this person. This person always dreams of success and follows rules to make their life a success story. We sometimes get inspired and try to be productive like them but we tend to fail every time.

7. The Star Kid

Fame, father money, good looks - don't lie, we all wanted to be this person once in our lifetime, who we are jealous about and always have a little execration towards them. This person has a charm that everyone attracts to and wants to be around them. But eventually, everyone realizes this isn't the thing they are looking for.

8.The Soulmate

He is the person with whom we have this” MUSTAFA MUSTAFA” friendship. We all have at least one person in our lives, with whom we share anger, sorrow, happiness, love, and almost every emotion and can pretty much rely upon without having a feeling of being judged. This person never gets fed up with our stories and guides us through every stage in life. His scoldings are the enlightenment at times for us.
