His parents never allowed him to keep so many pets at home but still, he would somehow manage to provide shelter to them. As I grew up I came across more and more animal lovers. But one thought would always hit my mind. It is about the homeless animals. <\/p><p>Most of these animals have been lost, given up or abandoned. They are all unwanted and helpless. There are not enough homes for all the animals that are born every year. Each year 8 to 12 million dogs, cats, puppies, and kittens are euthanized because there are simply not enough homes for them. Throughout the country, thousands of commercial pet-breeding facilities and backyard breeders produce millions of animals for sale in pet stores and through newspaper ads. Often known as puppy and kitten mills, these facilities repeatedly impregnate female dogs that spend their entire lives in cages without human companionship. These unfortunate animals are often in intolerable environments, forced to produce litter upon a litter, and are destroyed after they become unprofitable assets. It\u2019s sad to know that many of them lose their lives in road accidents because of our carelessness. People have taken initiatives to bring this topic to notice yet many of us just ignore it. Adopting an animal doesn\u2019t only means you don\u2019t support such cruel practices but also gives them a new life. Don\u2019t buy an animal instead adopt one. So next time you see an abandoned animal don\u2019t ignore it. Try to do something to keep it safe.
