Chances are you've seen Sailesh Gopalan's work on your social media feed. The young artist publishes his highly relatable comics under the name Brown Paperbag on social media and has found instant fame after starting last year in June.

Cartoons or comics in India are almost always limited to political satire and politics, and there was a lack of relatable Indian comics that dealt with the life and times of India's rising middle class. This was the space that Brown Paperbag occupied, and the response was instantaneous: the page received over 50000 likes in just one week and has steadily grown since then. We speak with Sailesh Gopalan about his journey so far with Brown Paperbag and more.

"I wanted to steer clear of politics," says Sailesh, speaking about comics in India, "There are a lot of political cartoons and comics in India already, and I didn't want to do it, but I wanted to make a webcomic."

A week before Sailesh posted his first Brown Paperbag comic, inspiration struck and he showed his work to a couple of friends before posting it on the internet. Much like many of us, Sailesh says he tends to leave projects unfinished, "I tend to start projects and tend to leave it midway, but this one was different, I wanted to do it, so I did," he smiles.

We asked Sailesh what he felt when he saw his comics went viral, with the page receiving a landslide of likes within a span of a week, "It felt incredible, but also, along with that feeling was pressure, the pressure to do more and to make something better," he said, "you also learn a lot of new things, what works, what doesn't work, your mistakes are there for you to learn from and improve."

Speaking about his favourite part of the creative process, Sailesh laughs and says, "I really enjoy drawing reactions and emotions, there are many among us who have pulled the exact same look in our own lives at one point or another."

Making a successful webcomic is no easy task, and Sailesh's story is an inspiration to many students across the country. This student of Srishti School of Art Design and Technology has captured the hearts and minds of many people across the country, and he plans to continue doing so. We ask if he had any special plans for Brown Paperbag after it's 1 year anniversary next month on June 25, "I will continue doing what I'm doing. I don't have any particular plans as of now, most of my time goes into college work," he laughs, "I tend to make as many comics as I can in my free time before I have to rush for college work again. So it's basically juggling college life and making comics."

Shifting our conversation from comics to his advice to fellow peers and students across the country, especially those who have the creative streak in them, he said, "We tend to get a lot of ideas, but not acting upon them means the ideas will dissolve eventually. Just remember that not everything you make will be a masterpiece, and that is perfectly alright."

From making comics highlighting the fault lines of hypocrisy in our society to highlighting quintessential Indian problems in our day to day lives that make the comics so relatable, it is no surprise that Brown Paperbag is adored by its fans. We hope to see more of Sailesh's work and wish him all the best for his future endeavours.

GRE stands for Graduate Record Exam and is one of the most important prerequisites for admissions to universities in the US, Canada or even Australia. It is one of the exams that is known for its standards throughout the world. It is considered tough by most Indian students mainly due to the verbal section of the exam. The questions related to English are considered to be mind-boggling by most. So here are some strategies that might help you to score well in this exam:

1. The exam would take one at least 3 hours and 20 minutes.Hence it would require a lot of patience to make you attempt even the last question with the same state of mind that you attempt the first question. Hence it is advisable to attempt as many mock tests as many times as possible so that you get a hang of the exam.

2. The quantitative part comprises of quantitative comparison, single choice and multiple choice questions. These questions are usually quite easy for any average Indian student but some of the questions appear in such a way that you easily pick the wrong option. So always read the question carefully and answer accordingly.

3. For the quantitative section, it is also advisable to practice as many models of the question as possible.

4. Remember that each question is of equal value. Hence attempt the easier questions first and then move onto the tougher questions. It is better if you look at each question before attempting the section.

5. The verbal section comprises of text completion, sentence equivalence questions and reading comprehension questions. The text completion section would require a strong vocabulary. It would also be helpful if by seeing a word, you can predict whether the word has a positive connotation or a negative one. Some words are often repeated in the exam. It would be hence prudent to start with them after which you can move onto the more arcane words.
6. It is usually the sentence equivalence questions that are the toughest. They require a lot of practice. Consider each option very carefully before selecting one. The arrangement of the words in the sentence plays a very integral role in giving meaning to the sentence. Hence handle these questions carefully.
7. The reading comprehension questions consist of both short and lengthy passages. It would help you if you attempt the shorter passages first. For the longer passages, one effective strategy would be to first read the questions and reading the passage later. This would make it easier to answer the questions.
8. For the writing section, it is always better to make a rough draft before you actually start writing the essay. This well facilitates writing the essay in a logical and convincing manner.
9. Remember to write the exam with a cool mind. Do not panic and attempt the questions carefully.
10. Even if you are done with all the questions in a section do not opt to move onto the next section. Check your answers once again and check if you have missed out on any questions.
So let's hope these tips help you in scoring well in the GRE. All the best...
"}]

On the list of my places to visit is kanyakumari . I love to see the sunset and sunrise along the sea shore. i want to see the huge Indian ocean . The best part of it is that we can see the rise of moon and sunset at the same time. It has got a mythological significance . Many sages would meditate here . Many places to visit like Thiruvalluvar statue , Vivekananda rock memorial, many temples. This place was ruled by many different dynasty, the structures represent the art and architecture of that era .Many forts around the place give us the detail about our rulers royal life

When all hope for humanity was lost, when we thought there was no good left in a evil and a greedy world like ours, there are certain people who have proved us wrong. These people can also be called as the heroes of the day. To be a hero you don't need a cape all you need is a kind and an open heart, love, sympathy, patience and most importantly humanity. The blast that shook Manchester city on Monday night after Ariana Grande's concert resulted in the death of 22 people. They were mostly teenagers and kids as young as 8 years old. Apart from this 59 people were injured. The scene after the blast was of chaos and confusion. People were running scared , they were clueless as to how they would be safe. Children were separated from their parents and were scared. To sum it up the aftermath of the blast shook everyone.

But amidst this chaos, there were these heroes who helped the people near the blast scene. These heroes who had the choice to run away they decided to stay and help. Taxi drivers offered free rides and turned off their meters. they made sure people were safe. The hotels near to the arena offered shelter to children who were separated from their parents, some hotels opened their doors to people who couldn't go home due to lock down in certain areas. Few local people too offered free rides. Gurudwaras in the city opened their doors too, they provided food and shelter to people who couldn't go home. This proves that humanity is above religion.

Even when the situation was so chaotic, and people were running scared, our heroes remained calm and had a kind heart and a simple presence of mind. Just when we thought all of humanity was gone and that nobody cares about what happens, these people, the heroes of the day, have shown us that there is still some humanity left in this world. People like the taxi drivers, the locals, the Gurudwaras, and the hotel staff are the people who can change the world, the way we want to see it.

This teaches us that irrespective of our religion we all should stay united in situations like these. This is what humanity is.
