Bose is an industry leader in the Bluetooth headphones department, and their commitment to quality shows in the Bose QuietComfort-35, from the excellent sound quality, noise cancellation and build quality to being a perfect device for you to connect to your various bluetooth, and NFC because it has that too, devices, even your TVs if you have bluetooth on it, and believe me it is much better to enjoy your TV shows late at night with these headphones on than setting the volume so low that you can barely hear anything that's being said, just so the rest of the house does not wake up.

'If it ain't broke, don't fix it', a principle you can see Bose following for the QC-35, carrying over from their previous wireless headphones, QC-25. But lets get down to the bass tacks. In this review we will talk about design, comfort and sound quality.

Design:

The earcups are flexible enough to be turned to face the opposite direction, and even then the sound quality is better than a few phone's loudspeakers in the market. But then again, that is not the QC-35s purpose. The headphones come with a comfortable, extending bridge that is adjustable to many different types of heads, and I should know, I have quite a large one.

That being said, it fits snugly enough with minimal effort, enough to not fall off and be comfortable on your ears even while you're at the gym. I would like to take this moment to thank Bose and my friend who lend me these to review for helping me drown out the awful music at the gym, thank you! The earcups are made of synthetic leather soft, which are quiet comfortable on the ear. In the full day that I used it, I didn't feel discomfort at any point of usage. Do not that in a hot country such as ours, the ears can sweat, and that is not good. Make sure you air out your ears occasionally while using these headphones.

Sound Quality:

Using two mics to listen to ambient noise and then noise cancel accordingly, the QC35s are a class apart from your regular headphones. These days, with the common misconception of a headphones being only as good as the bass it provides, the Bose QC-35 is a very satisfying neutral on all sounds, which allows you, the user to tweak their music experience by using equalisers, which I highly recommend getting familiar with if you listen to a lot of music and use a music player. The audio clarity is so good that it can expose songs that have been poorly mixed or sound files with low quality, and apart from music, the headphones are excellent for watching movies as well, speech lines are crisp and clear, and you can really appreciate the sound mixing in movies like, for instance, Interstellar.

Usage:The battery life is nothing short of excellent. While the review was under progress, I used these pair of headphones for one entire day, and I only had to charge it in the morning. Even if you run out of charging, the ear cans can be used without batteries by connecting a 3.5mm wire from the source to the headphones, which become quiet essential on long haul flights and long journeys where you can't depend on a power source for a while. I generally use a pair of earphones at work as music helps me focus, and the QC35s threw out whatever awareness I had about my surroundings and made me completely focus on the task at hand and nothing else: the noise cancellation will ensure you know nothing else, you are in a world of your own, depending on the type of music you are listening to.

Final Thoughts: Are these worth the price? If you are someone who wants to best in audio and can afford to take a slight hit to your pocket, then for the asking price, you cannot go for a better pair of wireless bluetooth and NFC enabled headphones. Even if you cannot afford these, there are alternate options for lower prices which can be considered good pair of headphones, but in the wireless department, these are easily the best in class, and for it's price point, it is the current king of the market. If you have ever asked this question then you will feel such enormous relief in knowing the answer, because it is so simple. How do you stop negative thoughts? You plant good thoughts!
When you try to stop negative thoughts, you are focusing on what you don't want - negative thoughts - and you will attract an abundance of them. They can never disappear if you are focused on them.
The "stop" part is irrelevant - the negative thoughts are your focus It doesn't
matter if you are trying to stop negative thoughts or control them or push them away, the result is the same. Your focus is on negative thoughts, and by the law of attraction you are inviting more of them to you.
The truth is always simple and it is always easy. To stop negative thoughts, just plant good thoughts! Deliberately plant good thoughts! You plant good thoughts by making it a daily practice to appreciate all the things in your day. Appreciate your health, your car, your
home, your family, your job, your friends, your surroundings, your meals, your pets, and the magnificent beauty of the day.
Compliment, praise, and give thanks to all things. Every time you say "Thank you" it is a good thought! As you plant more and more good thoughts, the
negative thoughts will be wiped out. Why? Because your focus is on good thoughts, and what you focus on you attract.
So don't give any attention to negative thoughts. Don't worry about them. If any come, make light of them, shrug them off, and let them be your reminder to deliberately think more good thoughts now. The more good thoughts you can plant in a day, the faster your life will be utterly transformed into all good.
If you spend only one day speaking of good things and saying "Thank you" at every single opportunity, you will not believe your tomorrow. Deliberately thinking good thoughts is exactly like planting seeds. As you think good thoughts you are planting good seeds inside you, and the Universe will transform those seeds into a garden of paradise. How will the garden of paradise appear? It was a complex game, extremely lore appropriate: you had to prepare potions in advance, rest according to how much time it would take you to brew, investigation and research were old school style reading through the stuff you find, and monsters you hunted required you to learn about them before rushing to deal with them. It was a fan's dream come true, but to newcomers it was off putting, the weird combat system and BioWare's engine they had developed the game on felt clunky.
Despite all of this, despite the really slow start of the game, the story gets immensely better as it progresses, and it left a mark on those who pushed through the first act and dealt with the confusing second act. This game is extremely important in understanding where The Witcher is today, the combat system of this game was a massive overhaul from the previous on, favouring a heavy and light attack pattern depending on which button you pressed, the control scheme completely changed, allowing players to use controllers for the first time, and the game was always designed with console in mind, hence the clunky menus. The gameplay, now based on a hack and slash gameplay design instead of an RPG point and click, offered players freedom to jump in and out of combat with ease without complicating issues.
The Witcher 2, however, isn't devoid of growing pains. After it's release in 2011 (and despite issues, being one of the best games of the year), a number of bugs needed to be ironed out. CDPR went a step beyond a regular company and designed their own game engine for their second game, something unheard of for a company that had only one game under their hat. The story, however, takes the monster hunting out of the mix, although there are still monsters in the game, and throws us in the middle of a political thriller, again, extremely well handled and maturely done, one where our hero, Geralt of Rivia, must clear their name for he is accused of regicide.
The Witcher 2 was unique in a way that your choices, made hours before, could affect your game. Characters that aren't one dimensional, combined with gameplay perfected over the years, to letting players hunt monsters again, which is the purpose of a Witcher all along, to telling one of the best stories in gaming, and to top it off it lasts many hours, so you get to savour every little bit of it along the way.

On a technical and graphical front, CDPR developing their own engine helped them immensely. allowing them to flex their coding muscles and deliver a world so beautiful, gamers will remember it for years to come. They believed in the power of video games, they believed in telling their story to the world, they almost lost everything in doing so, and yet they stuck to it, because it was their passion. Today, The Witcher series has sold 25 million copies worldwide, and what was once Poland's cultural phenomenon, has now spread across the world.
Here's to CDPR and their unshaken conviction, without them, one of the greatest stories ever told would have never come to the English speaking world.

txt
rich_1491028583388
What are your Hobbies?
A quotidian answer would be - Who has the right time for hobbies!
Hobbies have become luxuries because people cannot afford to be free in this super fast hectic era. "How do I stop my negative thoughts?" - is a question that I have been asked many times.

As your life!
"}]
Have you ever heard about autism? Chances are you haven't, mental health disorders are not really talked about in India as they are seen as something shameful. It is not really surprising, considering how much emphasis we put on having perfect children through whom we can live vicariously.

If you think I sound bitter about the so called great Indian family values system, it is because I am. I grew up with people who had mental disorders who were shunned by this great family system of ours, and while everyone has heard of depression, nobody talks about autism.

This, inspite of autism being common in India. Every year, 1 million people are diagnosed with the disorder. But what is it, exactly, you may wonder? I'm here to tell you about autism, these are the things you should know about.

1. What exactly is autism?

The very first result on Google gives you this: 'Autism, or autism spectrum disorder, refers to a range of conditions characterized by challenges with social skills, repetitive behaviors, speech and nonverbal communication, as well as by unique strengths and differences. We now know that there is not one autism but many types, caused by different combinations of genetic and environmental influences.'

It is a disease that can affect how a child grows up, and there are plenty of children that go undiagnosed where because their parents simply lack the awareness of mental disorders, or cannot comprehend that their so called 'perfect' child can have something wrong with them.

txt
rich_1491052844126

2. Why should you know about it?

Because more children than ever are being diagnosed with autism, and they need your help more than your scorn. Children with autism cannot socialise or interact with other people like those who have no disorders. It affects their development as a child and their personal lives as an adult.

txt
rich_1491053161621

3. What can be done?

You can start by raising awareness about the disorder and realising that it is not a disease, but a condition that requires the utmost love and care one can offer. You can also donate to Autism India or Action For Autism, or volunteer.

txt
rich_1491053345563

India needs to get over its fear of mental disorders. The state of mental health facilities in this country is absolutely pathetic, to the point of being inhuman. This isn't helped by the fact that many see the mentally disabled as lacking, and if not recognised, the child will be put through torture for not scoring enough marks in school and thus retreating further into their shells.

This must stop, and it can only stop if you empower yourself with knowledge, and pass it on to others. People with autism are normal, even if our great society might not think they are.

S.S. Rajamouli 's creation Bahubali is one the biggest and grand movies on celluloid. With a massive budget about 250 crores it is the most expensive film ever made in the history of Indian Cinema. What makes this movie outstanding is the visual effects which costed around 85 crores. This movie is a brilliant creation because nobody has ever imagined this could be made, let alone attempting it. Besides the visual effect the plot was a contributing factor too. When it comes to the professional front, millennials do things differently and evidently have revolutionised many industries with their innovative ideas and approach. This generation believes in optimum utilisation of available resources which subsequently makes them more efficient and productive and for that they mostly use technology. Andrzej Sapkowski's books about the witcher Geralt of Rivia and his adventures had long since become cultural phenomenon in Poland, the witty but arrogant author wrote the first stories about the world of the Witcher when fantasy books were looked down upon in Poland, so he took existing European folklore, some that have long since passed from memory and are barely even recorded anywhere, and wrote a short story for a magazine. People loved it so much, he got his first book deal, and the rest is history.

So when the Video Game distributing company, CD Projekt, decided to establish CD Projekt Red, a studio born out of raw passion for video games in their own words, the Polish company decided that this was their opportunity to give the world the stories they grew up with. So after a lot of struggle, from 2002 to 2007, piggyback riding on BioWare's presentation at E3, CDPR, eventually launched the very first Witcher game.

2007 was a fantastic year for Role Playing Games, it was the year BioShock, The Elder Scrolls: Oblivion's expansion pack The Shivering Isles, and the Sci-Fi masterclass Mass Effect were released (You can read my thoughts on Mass Effect by clicking here), but this game, this obscure game called The Witcher from a developer nobody had heard of before came along and awed the fans of the books and drew in new fans, although the latter was a little difficult.
What are your Hobbies?

A quotidian answer would be - Who has the right time for hobbies!

Hobbies have become luxuries because people cannot afford to be free in this super fast hectic era. People have fallen prey to their mundane routines and somewhere down under have forgotten to appreciate their inner self and give themselves the time they deserve. Be it cracking competitive exams, striving for admissions into top colleges, finding a job, or chasing deadlines amid corporate walls, a majority have become mechanical and monotonous.

txt
rich_1491030153951

There is very popular saying that says; "Find three things in life: one to make money, one to keep you in shape, and one to be creative." A hobby can give you a sense of self-efficacy, it can help you nurture your creativity and gives you something to look forward to.
A hobby can give you something to be passionate about. What does it mean to be a human being? In the future, when science becomes so advanced that you, a human being, can potential live forever by transplanting your brain (and thus your soul, or 'Ghost') into a cyborg body that cannot be easily hurt or damaged? Will you still consider yourself human or a robot?

These are the questions asked by director Mamoru Oshii through Ghost in the Shell, the 1995 Sci-Fi hit 'Ghost in the Shell', a movie so influential it even inspired The Matrix.

On the surface, the movie is set in a futuristic global mega city based on real life Hong Kong, where our protagonist, Motoko Kusunagi, a cyborg who is given a ghost of a human being, (hence the title of the movie, the cyborg body is referred to as shell), and is part of an elite police force, Sector 9. A futuristic police force to deal with futuristic threats, so to speak. All the elements are there, the action, Kusunagi's fight against a nefarious hacker hacking into ghosts in other shells, and who can forget the iconic rooftop scene, which is being recreated in the upcoming movie and frankly as me hyped.

The themes that this movie deals with are complex and require a lot of introspection to fully grasp. If you thought The Matrix was hard to understand, you've got another thing coming with GITS. I won't spoil the movie for you, obviously, but towards right after the first 20 minutes, the layers of a simple action anime movie are peeled to reveal the layers of philosophical depth in the movie, and there are layers upon layers of it. This movie deals with Cartesian duality, the meaning of life and death, what it means to reproduce, the uniqueness of humanity in passing on the best genes to their progeny instead of just copying whatever genes they have.

Frankly, it is one of it's kind, and a great movie to boot. If you've made it this far reading me fangirling over GITS, then let me tell you this: Watch the original 1995 movie before Scarlett Johansson's Hollywood adaption, and then watch that one too, because who doesn't want to see Scarlett on the big screen?

Ghost in the Shell represents what movies should be about, a piece of art that makes you reflect, question your surroundings and make you better than you already were. Any movie that can do that is simply cinematic art, and must be preserved.
