[{"type":"txt","id":"rich_1579499099664","data":"Prime Minister Narendra Modi interacted with students, teachers and parents on Monday and share \"valuable tips\" with them to ensure they take the upcoming board and entrance exams in a relaxed manner.<\/p>The third edition of Pariksha Pe Charcha is being organised at Talkatora Indoor Stadium in Delhi. Addressing the audience of about 2000 students and teachers, Narendra Modi spoke at length on how to overcome fear of exams and said, \"Students should not be afraid of failure and take it as a part of life. I was told I shouldn't attend Chandrayaan landing as there was no guarantee of success but I needed to be there.<\/p>Expressing his thrill at getting to interact with students, he said, \"As Prime Minister one gets to attend numerous types of programme. Each of them provides a new set of experiences. But, if someone asks me what is that one programme that touches your heart the most, I would say it is this one.\"<\/p>He also advised parents to not push their children by saying, \"Parents should take time out to find out what their children want to do instead of pushing them into activities that are considered glamorous which they can discuss in their conversations with their friends.\"<\/p>An important point that he said in the event was on how marks are not everything, saying \"Good marks in exams are not everything. We have to come out of the thinking that exams are everything and also realise that extra-curricular activities are equally important,\" adding, \"Not pursuing an co-curricular activities can make a person like a robot. Yes, this would require better time management and will teach students time management. Today opportunities are many and I hope youngsters make use of them.\"<\/p>In the run up to ''Pariksha Pe Charcha 2020'', lakhs of students, parents and teachers shared their inputs and suggestions which are extremely valuable, giving insights into the pressing issues when it comes to exam preparation, the exam itself and the time after examinations and about 1000 students were selected to be a part of the event through an essay writing competition involving five topics - Gratitude is Great, Your Future Depends on Your Aspirations, Examining Exams, Our Duties, Your Take, and Balance is Beneficial. <\/p>Narendra Modi also took several questions from students and answered them.<\/p>"}]
