Hey there folks, if you've been regularly reading my Last Woman Standing series, I have to apologise for not writing last week's Finale episode. This here article is about what happened and where the story is gonna go from here.

To be honest, I didn't really think I would be writing it as extensively as I did and I realised I wrote myself into a plothole with the penultimate episode. Between being unsure of where to go with the story and not having the time to write on top of that, I've not been able to drum up a satisfactory finale, but worry not, it is coming sooner than you anticipate!

If you've not read my series yet, what are you even doing? Based on Player Unknown's Battlegrounds and written as shamelessly as possible (like seriously, I close my eyes and type it out), the first part of the story is called Last Woman Standing: Prologue, which I highly recommend checking out. I'll be updating this article later with links to the existing chapters.

As for where will the story go next, I'll be honest. When I started I had no idea the direction the story will take, I thought up the most ridiculous things that could happen and wrote that, but it seems people liked that style of writing and I will most likely continue it, with even whackier stories in the days to come.

I thank you for reading through what was a young writer's ramblings passing off as a story, frankly if it wasn't for the response, I'd have given up a long time ago. This one's for you folks!

Cheers and see you soon!
"}]
There's an entire genre of films that are called 'coming of age' films, movies that detail the protagonists journey from a self-doubting teenager to a confident adult, often through great odds even if it doesn't seem that way to someone else. The biggest issue with our problems are that someone who has already gone through those issues thinks their opinion on how to solve this issue matters, when in reality it is your battle to fight.

That's not to say you don't need advice, everyone needs advice, more often than not people are ready to give it for free, but that's not the point of this post, even though it's kinda going to be some form of advice.

By this point, it's safe to say I've successfully confused you.

But here's what I was going for. This is your time, considering the readership of this website is mostly students who are eventually going to conquer the world, I want you to know that it is okay to struggle in life, in fact, I encourage you to struggle, to want to be better than who you are meant to be. But all of that will only happen if you understand the fundamental fact that you need to truly and utterly love yourself.

This concept might be confusing for some and for me, it is both self advice and a message to the younger kids in the crowd. I've hated myself since I was 17, it didn't go away until very recently and I still feel the scars that period of my life, a period that lasted longer than it should, affecting my daily life. There's so much I should have done a long time ago that I'm coming to terms with now, realising that I'll never have the same opportunity as before and I simply have to try harder and push harder than ever before.

All of this I could have done earlier if I'd just learned to embrace myself for who I was and fight for my goals.

So this is my advice to you folks this Valentine's Day, learn to love yourself if you don't already. Not only will you discover what you are capable of, you will find that once you are secure in your self-love, you are confident enough to spread it around and make people around you happy. That is what is expected from a citizen of India, because frankly we have too much negativity already, enough to go around for a few decades at least.

In a country where negativity is the norm, being a positive self loving person is the greatest act of rebellion one can make. Own it.
"}]
As long as I can remember, I had been told that I was way too young to make decisions. To try to change things. All except my mum. She always told me that size and age did not matter; and I grew up, being taught, that I could do anything, if I put my mind to it and worked towards it. She always told me nothing was unachievable.

I did believe her belief in me and tried to implement it. But sometimes people surrounding me influenced me into believing otherwise, and I always found a reason not to do something because I was fearful, or discouraged by others. And my morale went down hill. I became good at finding excuses and avoid doing something I was good at or wanted to do. But my mom still believed in me and I wondered how and why. Both her belief and support did not waver, ever.

When I wanted to change, my mum supported me, after giving an earful for avoiding it in the first place. I wanted to change myself and change the world.

Doing engineering I wondered how? I didn't not want to wait. It was now or never.

I wanted to contribute to society, wanted to write… to blog, wanted to make myself heard. Be a voice for those who wanted to be heard.

All this came beautifully together in way of my associating with a NGO called Securing Smiles, formed by a couple of friends from Deccan College. Fresh of the pan, not yet registered. So I thought to myself, well what can be better. So, with the much enthusiasm, I dove into it. Stanley was the first college collaborating with them, so both sides were very excited for this event.

A friend and I joined and helped find funding from our college students. We talked about the NGO, how our principal had made the decision that the NGO is the official NGO for the college, and what we want to do for this event.

The enthusiasm that I had dwindled away on the second day when people outright ignored our voices. But, I was in this for the win. After a week we had a substantial amount of money with which we bought food and medicines for the slum affected areas.

And can I say how good it felt? Well, I felt amazing that I was a part of helping someone.

There were few people who thought I was naïve. That I too young to wield any kind of power to change the world. But, this time I didn't listen. This was my decision and I would stick by it.

I know changing the world is hard. But, I will not back down.

So, instead of feeling discouraged, like I would have before, I felt determined and empowered. This was no longer about making a change, this was about growing to a person that would be able to make that change.

So when it was announced that we were having posts from the Council body for the NGO in college, I applied. And I got it. I am now the Head of Content and Creative department for our college branch.

I along with the team of Stanley and Securing Smiles have big plans that begin with small steps that will grow in leaps and bounds...

and you will definitely hear from us again...

A SPOONERISM is defined as an interchange of initial sounds of two words spoken at a time. SPOONERISMS are commonly heard as slips of tounge but are also intentionally used as play words. They are also said to be verbal errors in English language. Some of the well known SPOONERISMS claimed to have been heard are,
Go shake a tower, for Go take a shower.
Mardon me Padom, for Pardon me madam.
Blushing crow, for Crushing blow.
Runny babbit, for Bunny rabbit.
Funny aren’t they?

The term Spoonerism gets its name from the Rev.William Archibald Spooner, who was an Anglican clergyman and Warden of New college of Oxford University. He was an absent minded man who suffered from a speech defect called METATHESIS which made him to switch the initial sounds of words he uttered. He became famous for making many transpositions like this.

Once he is reported to have toasted Queen Victoria with words, Three cheers to our queer old dean, for dear old Queen.
During wartime,he tried to ignite his students confidence by saying, when our boys come home from France, we will have hags flung out, for Flags hung out.

However , the fact is that many of the well-known Spoonerisms said to have been uttered by Spooner were probably not uttered by him, but were made by his students and collegues. Spooner admitted himself to only one Spoonerism- Conquering kings as Kinkering kong.

1518451022855
txt"}]

First off, we need to hold onto our basic description of a hologram. Which is a projection of a higher dimensional object into lower dimensions .For example ,we see holographic stickers on many products. They are just a project of something 3-D onto 2-D.

The universe might be two-dimensional, except we perceive it as three-dimensional. In this thought experiment , the flat surface of the universe contains all the information we need to sense three-dimensions-much like a HOLOGRAM.

This amazing idea is known as "holographic principle" and arises from string theory which says that gravity in the universe is made of thin ,vibrating strings called gravitons. These strings make up the hologram of events that happen in 3-D space within a flat cosmos. They contain the information that a 3-D object would have, for example its volume .So if you want to know what's happening inside a ball , you can find out everything you need to know just by looking at its surface.

This mind-twisting notion arose back in 1997 when physicist Juan Maldacena proposed the idea that there is correspondence between gravitational theories in curves anti-de-sitter spaces (its a universe where the fabric of space time have negative curvature, which is often described as being shaped like a horse's saddle . The holographic principle holds in this negative anti-de-sitter space : it can be described in two dimensions but can be visualized in three . In negative space you could potentially throw an object infront of you and it will eventually land behind you due to the negative curvature of space-time) on the one hand and quantum field theories in spaces with one fewer dimension on the another.

However, anti-de sitter space has no relation to our universe: The universe we live in is flat and shows some positive curvature properties at astronomical distances. More recently , the holographic principle has been tested mathematically in our own space-time , and so far the numbers seem to match upto reality. This outstanding theory was orginally only a thought experiment applied to hypothetical universe. Now , it is possibly changing the way we perceive our world.

Optically, when we look at something with our eyes and light is focused onto your optic nerve .This creates tiny electrical signals which are then carried to visual cortex at the back of the brain .Here, the brain recreates what we have seen as 3-D image in order that we can make sense of it.

Mythologically , some urge that there are strong suggestions in Hinduism and Buddhism religions and the universe is a 3-D illusion (Maya in Hindi). Although these are all assumptions and beliefs .Nothing has been proved as of now.

Let us suppose there is a cube...

For us it is a 3 dimensional object but we are not seeing the actual object because we can see only a two dimensional projection of a cube or any object when viewed from an arbitrary angle... I am saying this because , if our eyes are evolved to see 3-D , the dimensions of the cube should be the same when viewed from all the angles and for that we need to be out of every two dimensional looking 3-dimensional world ? ("?" question mark indicates the debatable nature of how many dimensions are actually there in the universe).

This sounds like a wonderful idea, a way to cheat nature by circumventing gravitational machinations and just might turn out to be brilliant way to solve quantum gravity .But as of now, there are few catches .

For one , we don't live in anti-de-sitter universe. Our universe is full of matter , radiation and dark energy and has almost perfectly flat geometry . Is there a similar correspondence that works in our real universe ? Perhaps theorists are working hard to find it.

Second , the "boundary" i.e., the limit of what we can see in our observable universe .That would be fine , expect that we live in a dynamic space-time with an ever growing cosmos and that boundary is always changing- something that's not handled very well in current theories.

Lastly , when you make the jump from a fully described anti-de-sitter universe to a simpler boundary model where conformal field theory applies , the new sets of equations are solvable only in principle. They can still be - and frequently are - fantastically , perniciously , frighteningly , heartbreakingly difficult to solve . So just because you have short circuited gravity doesn't mean you are out of weeds yet!

A mathematical contrivance , as handy as it may be , doesn't necessarily dictate our views of fundamental nature of reality . IF HOLOGRAPHIC PRINCIPLES ARE USEFUL IN SOLVING THE PROBLEMS , IT DOESN'T NECESSARILY MEAN THAT WE LIVE IN A HOLOGRAM . AND EVEN WE DID LIVE IN A HOLOGRAM , WE WOULD NOT CERTAINLY BE ABLE TO TELL THE DIFFERENCE ANYWAY.

And there you go falcon heavy lifts off from the Historical Kennedy 39A launch pad ,roaring into space carrying Tesla Roadster playing David Bowie’s "Space Oddity" .

Days before the launch a video was released showing how the launch of Falcon Heavy and how its payload Roadster will be released into space. It seemed more of a sci-fi than reality…but shutting all the critics down , falcon heavy has done its job making SpaceX, Elon Musk and all their followers happy and proud enough , it was a great achievement and the one that is going to be remembered for a long time as it took our dreams of interplanetary travel a bit more closer and bit more realistic.

But it was never an easy road for SpaceX to achieve this feat , they faced a lot of ups and downs and as a result there is the first car in the sky going around with a speed of 11kmph…it still seems sci-fi but let’s take a look at how all this happened…

The idea for the first time was publicly announced at a Washington DC news conference in July of 2011 and it was scheduled to launch in 2013. After a lot of setbacks it was finally set to lauch on February 6, 2018. Falcon Heavy was primarily designed to carry humans to Mars and Moon to make life MULTIPLANETARY.

Coming to the launch procedure and the events followed thereby of the world’s most powerful operational rocket, Falcon Heavy was launched at 3:45pm (EST) on 6th February 2018 and that was at 2:15am (IST) on 7th February 2018. Falcon Heavy is primarily a falcon 9 with two additional falcon 9 first stage boosters on each side making the overall first stage core to three. Each containing 9 Merlin 1D engines and all these 27 Merlin Engines produce a combined thrust of 5 million pounds. The next stage after liftoff came the Side boosters engine cut off and those boosters started heading back to Earth for their simultaneous landing at Cape Canaveral Air force station and next came the Main engine cut off ,stage separation and there after shortly the song started playing meaning the fairing is deployed and Starman is open to space. The next milestone was the simultaneous landing of both the side boosters and which did happen successfully as expected and after the second stage engine shut down the designated orbit around the sun along with Earth and Mars in a endless loop . Later the centre core was set to launch on a drone ship but they lost it.

The Tesla was going good but after a day or so , the final engine blast propelled it farther than expected and is now moving towards an asteroid belt between Mars and Jupiter… Of course, which is a bit disappointing but there it goes , result of a great feat and a one to remember for a long time. Apart from the loss of centre core the mission was a huge success.

SpaceX first stated off with a handful of employees along with Elon Musk whose ultimate aim to reduce the cost of flying and make the most of it and so far they are very successful and are delivering payloads at a far less price than other agency is doing. At present they have numerous intellectual minds working day and night to move closer and closer to that dream and make space travel as realistic as it can get. There seems to be bright and great future for SpaceX and for MANKIND in their thirst to find a new home.

"}]
