It was raised on 15 July 1948 .The National Cadet Corps can be considered as a successor of the University Officers Training Corps (UOTC) which was established by the British in 1942. During World War ll the UOTC never came up to the expectations set by the British. This led to the idea that some better schemes should be formed, which could train more young men in a better way, even during peace times. A committee headed by Pandit H.N. Kunzru recommended a cadet organization to be established in schools and colleges at a national level. The National Cadet Corps Act was accepted by the Governor General and on 15 July 1948 the National Cadet Corps came into existence.

During the 1965 and 1971 wars with Pakistan, NCC cadets were the second line of defence. They organised camps to assist the ordinance factories, supplying arms and ammunition to the front, and also were used as patrol parties to capture the enemy paratroopers. The NCC cadets also worked hand in hand with the Civil Defence authorities and actively took part in rescue work and traffic control. After the 1965 and 1971 Indo-Pak wars the NCC syllabus was revised. Rather than just being the second line of defence, NCC syllabus laid a greater stress on developing qualities of leadership and Officer-like qualities. The military training which the NCC cadets received was reduced and greater importance was given to other areas like social service and youth-management.

NCC Organisation

The National Cadet Corpos is headed by a Director General, an Army Officer of the rank of Lieutanant General, who is responsible for the functioning of the National Cadet Corps in the country through the National Cadet Corps Headquarters situated at Delhi. At the State Level, the country has been divided into 17 Directorates covering all States and Union Territories. Each of the State National Cadet Corps Directorate Headquarters controls two to fourteen Group Headquarters. While Directorates are commanded by Brigadiers or their equivalents, the Groups are commanded by Colonels or equivalents from the Air Force and the Navy, NCC Units are commanded by Major/Lieutenant Colonel or their equivalents.

G.Narayanamma bagged the girl's overall championship of JNTUH Zone 'A' inter-collegiate sports meet 2019-20 held at VNRVJIET. GNITS girls won five titles namely in Volleyball, Throw ball, Basketball, Badminton, and Table Tennis. The main reason for our success is Planning and Preparing. To accomplish any goals we need proper planning and it must be flexible also. Because we have to alter it based on the situations and surroundings. For example, if we take basketball, we play the game based on opponent teams and their strength and weak points, and we used to change our strategies based on their offenses and defenses. Whatever may be the planning or strategy, we need to have proper coordination with team members and fast recovery if any mistakes were happen

txt

From day one to end, we started our team practice daily both mornings and evenings without failure. We used to play so many practice matches and analyzing our mistakes and try to not repeat those mistakes in the next match. If we face any difficulties in match whether it may be in finals or practice, our captains Neha Varma and Padmini used to help us to overcome it. They always motivate us to play hard and tell us " if you lose any match, know your mistakes and analyze yourselves how to overcome from it." and We never bother about winning or losing because that was a by-product of preparation. Basketball is a team sport, which means it requires contribution and co-operation from every member to play well and win. Everyone must focus, work together and fulfill their roles for the common good of the team. Not only basketball, throwball, volleyball ..... every game requires proper coordination, then only we can achieve our goals. One thing, I learned from basketball is "Win more games than you lose, but accept both victory and defeat graciously. No matter what sport you play, you can't win every game. but never give up in the middle of the battle because we know how hard it takes to takes blood, sweat, and tears to win a championship.

txt
I grew up listening to this story of this fairy tale of MULAN, how she saved her family, father’s pride. I got inspired to have a life like that, but every time I listen to this story, I think why she would turn into a guy to get the pride of her family. I then realized, it’s not that easy to be brave as a girl. It takes a lot to take in everything and still smile like nothing happen. We live in a male dominating society. Society that I refer to is the workplace, locality, streets, college, school and elsewhere. Suppressing women has been a tradition since ages, no no not because we are weak, but because as I said we can take a lot of things in still act like nothing happen and smile. Here not every guy is suppressing women they is another set too who keep quiet, stay away and few who act like they care but actually don’t. Women are considered fragile, but I’ve never seen anything so easily wounded as a man’s ego. Now, talking about female can turn me into a FEMINIST, which is equal to the word “SHOW” (attention seeking drama queen).

Every time a women with a voice is labeled. Story of every girl child is interesting and different that comes out a struggle. We were told “Men and women are Equal” it’s just thought that never followed but always written as a slogan on WOMEN’s DAY. I am not bragging about women but we women are future. Let’s talk about Feminism that only means to BE EQUAL and nothing else. If you think equality should exist sorry to say you’re a feminist. It’s not just about we women fighting individually or against them but it’s about standing together to have a sis-code. We women are considered fragile, but strength is sisterhood. Women no more look for knight, but for swords.

Let’s not be polite to someone who makes you uncomfortable. Let’s not get scared to have a voice. Let’s not be fragile as a flower, but fragile like a bomb. Let’s lift one another instead of dragging down. LET’S LIVE AS ONE.
"}]
Mountaineering is not an easy sport. There's an element of danger involved along with the high level of expertise that is needed in addition to the sophisticated equipment that is needed. Excelling in an activity like that is Telangana based mountaineer Amgoth Tukaram and on January 26, 2020, the 21-year-old successfully scaled Mt. Aconcagua, the highest peak in South America.

Tukaram scaled the mountain in harsh weather, in an expedition comprising of seven mountaineers. Out of the seven, only 4 summited the mountain. Unfurling the Indian flag on top of the mountain, Tukaram celebrated Republic Day by singing the National Anthem at 6962 metres above sea level.

With this, Tukaram added another feather to his cap as with this, he has successfully climbed four of the 7 peaks on each continent. He had earlier scaled Mount Kilimanjaro (Africa) on July 4, 2018, Mount Everest (Asia) on May 22, 2019, Mount Elbrus (Europe) on July 27, 2019. Technology is the present world. It helped us grow in various sectors like medicine, internet banking, communication etc.,
Technology itself is found by humans and is being implemented to meet the needs of growing civilisation.
An example would be the use of computers to perform calculations and different tasks.Students can get access to video lectures, journals Etc.,
Technology has emerged from humans as they have the ability to think. Thinking is what makes homosapiens different from other species.
Thinking is nothing but drawing conclusions based on their experiences, knowledge and insights, but using technology for every need affects the ability to think.
When students are given a task ,they directly browse the internet without a second thought. As 'Nicholas Carr' has observed, reading encouraged our brains to be focused and imaginative. In contrast, the rise of the Internet is strengthening our ability to scan information rapidly.
The ubiquitous use of Internet search engines is causing children to be more skilled at remembering where to find things rather than remembering things in real.
With the ease at which information can be found these days, where to look is becoming more important for children than actually knowing something.

There is a research going on whether technology can be both beneficial and harmful to different ways in which children think.
Moreover, this influence isn’t just affecting children but adults too.
For instance, there is a lot of information available on the internet, which can be hacked and a data breach is caused.
Exposure to technology isn't all bad.
For example,IAS topper Anudeep durishetty relied upon the sources which are available on the internet ,he didn't take any kind of coaching.

Whether technology helps or hurts depends on what specific technology is used and how and what frequency it is used.

The bottom line is that knowing where to use technology and identifying the importance of it in doing something is the key.

txt
Till now we have seen two families leaching of the wealth of the Park's. They take advantage of the opportunity in the hopes of improving their economic status. The economic disparity is clearly evident throughout the film, the director made sure the crisis of the lower class is visually portrayed. The poor families are the parasites, they depend on their employees for food, shelter, clothing.

Park's are the rich family living in the highest part of the town. The head of the family is a crooked bigshot who embezzled millions without paying any taxes. He makes lucrative deals everyday with little to no concern of others. He is a capitalist pig who escapes the government and the people. He's a parasite trying to satiate his greed. The mother and the son(has a neurological disorder) are parasites living off the debauchery of him.

The plot twist is when there is a heavy rain and the basement of the poor Kim's is flooded by sewage water. They reek of piss and excreta when they start their new day. Their belongings got destroyed and they're left with nothing. The Park's are thankful for the rain, as it cleared the sky up. We see a clear contrast and the different perspectives are vividly highlighted. The ending of the movie is the most unexpected, thought provoking and gut wrenching one.

'Parasite' is a movie is a phenomenal movie that everyone needs to watch. It depicts the harsh reality and economic hurdles faced by millions every day. South Korea is always known for it's music, beauty but it is also facing an economic slowdown just like India where millions are unemployed. The use of imagery, symbolism and cinematography of the movie is subtle and beautiful. It's a movie one shouldn't miss in their lifetime.

txt
You got a lot of attention probably more than you deserve. You showed us a side beyond the human understanding you, made the wrong look right by justifying it in your own way, you took away the Christmas blues because you were released that noon, you made me think and you made me write about you!

Love makes you do funny things but if I told you love can also make you do scary things like killing someone can will that still be categorized as love?

You is a series that released on Netflix a couple of years ago.
If you are someone that enjoys a little thriller then this is the series for you.

The main character is a man named Joe played by Penn Badgley his character is portrayed as a young man with a dark and mysterious side his mind is his best friend and his thoughts control his every move. love caused him to make disturbing choices.

He falls in love with Beck played by Elizabeth Lail.

Beck is a beautiful young girl who had issues herself, she was an attention seeker that fell into joes trap not knowing that their loving relation was going to turn into a traumatizing experience.

Joe goes to the very extremes to protect the people that he cares for. obsession is sugar-coated by the word love throughout the series. love gave him the excuse to be a dangerous man.

The series has sensitive language and a few blood scenes.
The first season has 10 episodes each episode showing the audience a different side of joe and taking us inside his mind.

Penn Badgley did an outstanding job in bringing the character to life this will truly be a blockbuster for his acting career.

Since the show did very well in no time season 2 was released having 10 episodes the plot was a little different.
Season 2 shows gives us an insight into joes childhood and sort of justifies his actions and makes the audience empathize with him.

The show will definitely take you on a fun ride filled with drama and a little scare and make you see things you would never guess.
Frankly seems like the writers brought to surface their darkest side while writing joes character we are taken inside a stalker and a psychopath's mind,

This is one of the very few series that is very difficult to predict the character's next move.

I would give this show a 4 on 5

For all the drama lovers, this is a great show to binge-watch!!
"}]
V. Praveen Kumar is a Hyderabad based boxer who is currently pursuing his BBA second year from Siddhartha Degree College. While he is just 20 years old, he already has over 30 district, state and national medals to his credit, with the most recent one being a bronze at the nationals last year.

Praveen's boxing journey started when he was just 12 years old, as he shares, "There was an older person near my house, Sai Sivarama Krishna and he was a boxer. I was fascinated by him and I was also fascinated by the fact that boxing is a one-person sport as opposed to cricket or some other sport that people around me usually played. That fascinated me and I started learning from Sai when I was just 12."

The pugilist initially faced opposition from his family as his father was against it. Owing to their economic background and the fact that it is a potentially dangerous sport, his father wasn't enthusiastic about Praveen lacing up the gloves and getting into the ring but his mother supported him in the beginning and the result showed just a few months after he started boxing. "Just six months after I started practicing, I took part in my first district level competition and since then, there has been no going back," says the boxer who took part in his first boxing competition when he was just in 8th standard.

Through the next few years, his life revolved around boxing and college as he reminisces, "I used to wake up early in the morning to practice, then head to school and later junior college and then practice again in the evening. I don't remember a day when I didn't practice," says Praveen who secured his first state level gold in the Junior category in 2015.

What he loves about the sport is the constant improvement that the sport makes him undertake. "Every single match teaches me something. Initially I used to be very nervous during a bout but now I am not nervous anymore. In fact, now when I get into the ring, I see what the opponent is capable of and I just get into an analytical mode, which later makes me improve regardless of whether I win or lose," explains Praveen who was recently selected for All India University Boxing Championship.

He now aims to get into the next level, saying, "I want to compete on an international level and I want to represent my country."
"}]
