From March 2020 till COVID hit my family, I was not worried about it neither was I under the impression that it can hit my home and destroy my family as we knew it. If you are reading this, you are most likely under the same impression that it won’t hit your family and you need not worry about it and it was this callousness (despite taking certain precautions) that cost us a life.

Around the first week of July, people in my house started falling sick one after the other, within a gap of 2-3 days and the symptoms were that of a viral fever and we assumed it was just that because the monsoon season had just started and viral fever and flu are common in this time. We didn’t bother following any isolation protocol neither did we bother getting the family members tested and we were taking the basic medication that anyone would for a seasonal fever.

A couple of days later, my family doctor (who has been treating COVID victims since March) told us to not take any chances and get ourselves tested. We were able to arrange for home-testing (which I later realised that it isn’t accessible to many) and it turned out that I was the only member in the family who was negative. Till that moment, I was sitting next to my father, my uncles and aunts on the dining table and eating and having usual conversations but in that moment, it hit me that I have to take extra care because I was the only negative-tested person in the family and if there was any emergency, I was the one who was supposed to handle it.

Luckily for us, our house was thoroughly equipped with nebulisers, steroids, pulseoximeters, etc because my father and my uncle had existing lung issues and they needed those.

I live right next-door to my family’s house and from the moment they tested positive, I equipped myself with PPE kits, sanitising sprays, etc to ensure if I had to render my family any assistance, I was protected from the infection and just as I expected, my father and his younger brother started getting sicker as their existing lung issues were triggered by COVID. Others in the family were very weak and sick but these two were affected the most.

During that time, we faced a little bit of stigma from the neighbours but we were able to handle it and it was also during that time that I realised that one has to be very practical about this disease and you should not let emotions come in the way of doing what has to be done. I stopped visiting my family unless it was absolutely necessary, as in if I had to give an injection to a family member as instructed by our doctor. Here, me knowing how to give injections helped a lot as I was able to give my dad and uncle SOS injections and in that time, I was wearing a full PPE to go into the house for just a couple of minutes and I used to disinfect myself thoroughly after discarding the PPE.

Then came a situation when my uncle’s oxygen saturation level was dropping dangerously and we had to scramble around to get an oxygen cylinder and we managed to do so.

A couple of days later, his situation worsened so badly that he had to be shifted to the hospital immediately and we had a great difficulty in getting a bed in a hospital but we did manage to get him admitted. On July 15, 2020. Three days later, I noticed my father’s condition worsening and I ensured he was admitted in the hospital a day before he actually needed it and that, as sad as it sounds, made all the difference, as my uncle passed away due to lung failure on July 22, 2020. My father was discharged from the hospital that very day itself, though he was physically weak.

All throughout this time, I was ensuring that I was taking proper care of myself by using every possible piece of protective equipment as I was practically swimming in a house full of Covid and I was walking around an entire hospital with many Covid patients, when my dad was admitted. Also, I was ensuring I was consuming vitamin c with every meal, in the form of orange/mosambi juices, green tea with lemon and more. One of my cousins was ensuring all of people in my house had proper nutrition as she was cooking and bringing 3 meals a day for all of us.

Through all this, I understood that it takes a lot to combat Covid because there might come a situation where you can’t cook food for yourself because you’re too weak and you can’t go out because you have to be quarantined. Please read the previous sentence again and again for it to sink in as to the kind of care you have to take to not get infected.

While everyone in the house recovered through home-treatment, the two family members who had existing lung issues had to be hospitalised and one of them succumbed to it. If you are reading this, realise that it is your responsibility to protect your family members from Covid and if anyone in your family has any existing lung problems like Asthma, Bronchitis, etc, ensure they are protected.

I will continue in Part 2 as to what has to be done if your family tests positive for Covid and how I have been dealing with many other cases.
"}]
Corona virus has spread all over the world. The pandemic has pushed the global economy into a recession, which means the economy starts shrinking and growth stops. It damages the system of all the countries. The economy is in decline. There is no doubt that COVID-19 will have a large impact on the Indian economy. India also has suffering a loss. The number of unemployment is increasing day by day. Tradeoff between employment and strict lockdown affects on the economy. The lockdown in India will have a huge impact on the economy, mainly on GDP. India faces a huge decline in government revenues and growth of the income for at least two. The market has been defeated by the COVID-19, nothing in human known history destroyed wealth as the COVID-19 has. Unless in the next few months, a solution like vaccine can prevent the virus but the economy may not to by same again.

The single largest reason for worry was the economic impact of the lockdown following by the uncertainty around how long this will last. The recovery of the underlying economy will be slow and it will take around 2 years for normalcy to come back across sectors. Also, we can't ignore that the lockdown and pandemic hit several sectors including MSME, hospitality, agriculture and tourism and other sectors. The revised Gross Domestic Product(GDP) estimates for India downwards by 0.2% points for the fiscal year 2020 to 4.8% and by 0.5% for the fiscal year 2021 to 6%.

China is the world’s largest exporter and second-largest importer. In imports, the dependence of India on China is huge. India’s total electronic imports account for 45% of China. For automotive parts and fertilizers China’s share in India’s import is more than 25%. Around 65 to 70% of active pharmaceutical ingredients and around 90% of certain mobile phones come from China to India. Therefore, we can say that due to the current outbreak of covid-19 in China, the import dependence on China will have a significant impact on the Indian industry.

Eyes express more than words. The words of a person might sound cheerful but the real pain can be seen in the person’s eyes.
Let’s understand it more by a tale. A man who lost his mother at the age of twelve and lost his love at twenty-seven after getting married to his love at twenty-five. He brought up his daughter alone since birth. He never denies his daughter’s wishes. They were more like best friends rather than father and daughter. They used to share every small thing that happened at the end day. One day his daughter stood before him with a man whom she was loving for three years and wanted to get married to him. At that moment the father agreed with his daughter’s choice because he never says no to his daughter but his assumptions were different. The father thinks about his daughter in such a way that his daughter used to share every small thing with him but she refused to say about her loved one in the last three years. His mind was in a confused state that he had so many thoughts at that moment about his daughter and remembered all the moments he spent with his daughter. When the marriage was approaching his actions and words were joyful but somewhere in his mind a thought provoked that he needs to live alone for the rest of his life leaving his daughter which makes him depressed inside. While getting married a girl’s father might sound happy but when we look into his eyes, we can see all his worries, pain about his daughter whom he brought up for twenty-five years and the unconditional love they both have. A father treats his daughter as his mother. The daughter leaves him, father for the first time felt alone. He never felt alone even though he lost his mother and wife at the young age but now he feels that loneliness.
This pain can’t be expressed and can only be understood. Sometimes, you just have to stay silent because no words can explain what’s going on in your mind and heart. The love of a father towards his daughter is eternal.
NOT EVERYTHING THAT LASTS FOREVER MAKES YOU HAPPY, NOT EVERYTHING THAT MAKES YOU HAPPY LASTS FOREVER

txt
Oh, Hello! Long time huh? How's your quarantine going? Let me get this straight, my quarantine life "was" boring that soon enough I managed to be productive in this chaos and it worked! So keep reading to know how I did that.

The COVID 19 virus has turned the world upside down and every single country is trying to fight the pandemic. Ever since our Prime Minister announced the lock down in March, everyone's life became boring. It's been over 4 months since we are house arrested and we have no idea how long this goes. So I am going to be brutally honest here. The first one month was very boring and I had nothing to do except watching Netflix, I almost completed every show but it was still boring. Many stupid ideas crossed my mind, I doubted myself in a lot of situations. I want to be productive but didn't have enough motivation to do so. Then in the month of April comes my life saver "The Online classes"( The perfect reason to escape all the household chores). For a month these online classes entertained me. It was my basic step to be productive. Completing assignments, Viva Voce, Online exams helped me so much. And soon I was no longer entertained and motivated. Here ends my online classes and again I was sitting idle for the next one week doing nothing. Soon enough I started having anxiety attacks. About what? I have no idea. Maybe about the future, I was scared how I am going to survive in this chaos for the next five years. Many IT employees lost their jobs, and the economy dropped very badly. It was the end of June and I am scared. I came up with a decision for being productive.

STEP 1: Be HEALTHY.

Yes, that's true. Being healthy helps us in many ways. By snoozing many alarms I started waking up at 5:30 am everyday(first few days were very hard). I started taking a healthy diet and other problem is that I used to get annoyed by everything around me. I started noticing little things that got me irritable. I realized this was because of stress and unwanted thoughts which were crossing my mind. To get rid of the stress I started working out everyday(my day is incomplete without exercising)and these helped to get me back on track. My mind started working and I am having a better picture of what I can do. I signed up for many online courses (udemy, coursera etc.) to start being productive. After a week of struggle I started coding. Web Development was something I was interested in. I wanted to be good at it and I started listening to the boot camp on Web Development. I started learning new languages and took additional courses for time being. So, this part was successful.

STEP 2: Start reading BOOKS.

Now comes the second and last important step "Communication Skills". Yeah I know, weird isn't it? For someone who wants to do Masters in abroad in next 3 years can understand this. I want to give my best in everything. Before the Quarantine I used to read many books and slowly I stopped doing that too. After a while I started making a list of amazing books(mostly literature). I started reading books since 2 weeks and I'm finally trying to have a "ME" time. These two steps were very helpful to get me back on track. Thanks to this Quarantine life that My Passion to write a blog wasn't ended and I get to spend good time with my family again.

I Salute Every Hero: The Doctors, The Armed Forces, The Police men, The Watchmen, The cleaners and everyone who worked beyond their duty to keep us safe in this pandemic.

HOW GOOD AND PRODUCTIVE IS YOUR LOCK DOWN?

I know that most of you consider it as an inappropriate and foolish question. I know it's bad and inappropriate because you miss your canteen chit-chats and career planning in library. I know it is bad because you miss your college fests and summits. At this point of time you must have been surrounded by disappointment, disorder and mental chaos. But I feel it as the coolest, toughest and infrequent opportunity of the century and we are fortunate that this opportunity is ours. Because it's time to make our life adventurous. yes, accept the disorder, improve in the chaos and learn fighting in uncertainties and turn the discomforts into comforts. This is how adventures happen in life. This is an adventure which is beyond the intellectual and which deals with your soul. the adventure which deals with your soul makes you strong from the depth of your heart and brain to survive in the areas where you felt uncomfortable earlier. it not only teaches to enjoy the victory but also to carry on with the failure.

It may be the pandemic of the century but at the same time we are the fortunate batch of the century.Because we are at the cusp of the history,we are at the cusp of the transformation and we are at the cusp of the invention.I know that we are engulfed with medical, financial and social crisis. At this point of time whole world is looking at us about how we are going to deal with this toughest situation, how we are going to transform the situation and how we are going to bring back the normal life style in the most advanced and accelerated manner.I believe that the finest steel always goes through the hottest fire, and now this pandemic is a fire and it's our turn to get transformed as finest steel.Always remember that greatest triumphs are always followed by toughest tussles and turmoils.

World had seen India getting ready to sell it's gold reserves, world has been seeing India as a developing nation since decades and today country is looking at us that how we are going to transform India into a developed nation and a global leader.it's time to transform the nation and it's a chance for us to become transformers.

Since ages education has been a process of getting certificates and degrees. But now nature has given us an opportunity to get educated in an another angle. So,educate your self, educate the people and transform the education system.Pharmacy to pathology, economy to entomology and information technology to industry, what not? every thing is ready to get transformed. And now it's our turn to whisk the things to top level.

History had witnessed the greatest advancements and inventions after toughest traumas. Even today we are in a trauma and we should be the trailblazers in advancements and inventions to be followed. make sure that your works are going to be red lettered sentences in tomorrow's history.Whole world is going through the crisis. Now How you see the crisis, your perception towards the situation and the way you deal with crisis are the parameters which are going to decide your future in tomorrow's world and your's name and fame in future's history.

At this point of time nature is trying to show a way towards better life.Time has arrived to understand the difference between getting degree and getting educated. today world is in our hands,we can explore the world by wearing a boxer and lying on a bed through our mobile.Start using mobile in a new angle.Let these situations be a bent bow, become an arrow in that bent bow and launch yourself at a perfect target. opportunities come once in a life,it is us who should recognize and make best use of them.

CMR Technical Campus has an assortment of wonderful people. It has Tech geeks who truly love Technology and keep experimenting with new projects, it has lovers of the fine arts who showcase their talent in music and dance during the various events our college conducts, CMRTC has poets and writers who translate ideas into magical words teleporting us to another dimension, it has passionate sportsmen who take any excuse to run to the field to enhance their sport, and my college also has students with big hearts paving their future in the direction of becoming generous humanitarians. But my article today is about one of the many remarkable peers who share the same college as me, and this is how our story began.

Coincidentally, Mahi Harini Tatavarty was the first student I had interacted with in CMRTC. I met her on our orientation day. I was telling my father about how I was really shy and nervous about college, so he randomly decided to walk up to this young- tiny framed-confident girl, who was standing alongside her parents, and he greeted her with a warm hello and ended up having my first conversation for me. He asked her which branch she decided to pursue and she said CSE. My father said “Oh wow, my daughter Chitra is in IT, Okay Chitra bye have fun with your new friend”. I was dumbfounded at that moment and responded with an awkward chuckle and ran along with my father. However, looking back at this, it is funny how my first conversation with my best friend wasn’t even initiated by me, and I spoke barely an average of 5 words. It is perplexing how time unfolds unique friendships.

After a few months of college, Mahi and I ended up joining our college band. I soon discovered that she sings like a nightingale. She was kind and joked with me about our first meeting. We clicked very soon. She helped me perfect my notes during singing; we laughed a lot during practice and just had a ball. Mahi is also very adorable because in this small human exterior lies a fierce friend, a loyal supporter of Pavan Kalyan, a bright student and most importantly an extreme food lover!

Mahi has explored so many cafes and eateries in and around Hyderabad. She even reviews the dishes she has on her Instagram food blog-The Food and Plate Affair. Her page has about 2000 followers and the way she handles the aesthetics is applause worthy. Mahi is also the social media head of our college club Luminos. During this pandemic she continues to entertain her followers with fun home recipes of their relished restaurant meals.

All in all Mahi is the whole package, and even after 2 years with her I still can’t figure out how she stays so skinny with her love for food. Mahi Harini inspires me and everyone she meets. And the best part is I get to keep her forever!

"}]
