Teachers are non-biological parents that love and care for us as if we are one of their own. I have met some of the best teachers throughout my education who in the culmination became family.

But one such teacher who will forever be my inspiration and my mentor is my English ma’am Miss Aarshi she is the fruit of grace and love. I can easily and proudly call her my second mother. She never failed to amaze me with her knowledge on the subject.

English has always been an easy subject for me, but she brought English to life she has a remarkable skill of teaching students in the class room as well as outside she always taught us that learning should not be placed in a boundary, it shouldn't be confined to any particular space, she never believed in just teaching for grades but always taught us to be prepared for life and the things to expect from the real world.

She always jumped at the opportunity to help us and found immense joy in our success, her mind is filled with creative ideas and the best part she's the last one to take any credit, she always guided me and taught me the true meaning of life, she has been such a blessing in my life and i cant thank her enough for it.

She respected us irrespective of our age and helped us.

I thank her and all my other teachers for the blessings and the major role that they play in helping us be good, kind and caring people its only cause of their hard-work and guidance!!

A happy teachers day
"}]

It was a lot of fun and I have many great memories of the Ganesh Chaturthi celebrations. Eventually, we started taking responsibility for organizing these celebrations in our colony. Everyone is in a very lovely festive mood and I enjoy attending the rituals that take place. Vinayaka Chavithi is how I've heard my favorite friend's birthday being called as, ever since my childhood. Vinayakudu, i.e. My Bojja Ganapathi (as I call him) has always been one of my go-to venting machines. ''WHY ME? GET ME OUT OF THIS MESS! WHY CAN'T YOU GET ME OUT OF THIS MESS?''- these are my trademark questions that he always answers by giving me the strength to withstand situations in which I cannot get away by punching people in their faces.

Hello, my dear children, it's been a pleasant morning this day. I am glad to have a conversation with you. I am serving you (children) from billion years and still counting on. As a mother, it's my duty to serve you, secure you and survive you. But, behind the curtain, I am struggling hard, sacrificing a lot to enable you to live along with me. I am giving my best help in making you develop and prosper in their lives. Many generations have lived with, living with and going to live with me.

You(Children) are making use of me for development. But, from past 2 centuries, the usage rate is increased that my energy is getting drained away and my age is getting older at a high rate. Industries, factories and cars emit dangerous substances which are making me older from outside. Over-Drawing of groundwater, digging mines and bore wells deeply are hurting and making me older from inside. Even you are getting affected by pollution and other means indirectly. You are thinking it as a Development, but as a side effect, you are deteriorating your healthy life.

You(children) are covering my body(land) with plastics and constructions(clothes) which aren't allowing me to breathe in(suck) air (water) into me. You are aware and afraid of body shaming, but you are polluting my things and making me shame of my body everyday. You are digging in for water(blood), but in near future, you will not get it, instead you will get my bones(rocks). You are breaking my bones (rocks) away and making me look ugly and skinny. All these are making my expiry date approach sooner and faster. I request you to save your Mother Earth and it's your duty as my children to protect your mother because no child is born without mother. Protect me and protect yourselves. I remind you that even your Mother Earth has got an expiry date(death).
"}]
It is Teacher’s Day tomorrow. As long as I was in school, it just meant a day when kids get to have fun in school without being terrorised by teachers in the usual way. But now at 27, as I think about it, a few things come to mind. Long ago when I was going through a reading-self-help-books phase, I came across something that said “if you think your teacher is tough, wait till you get a boss”. Years later, when I got a boss and I thought of it, I realised for me, my bosses have been my teachers more than the individuals who taught at the schools I studied in, as those teachers seemed to get more of a power-trip through their authority over their students than anything else.

txt
rich_1567678357832

If I have to compare, my bosses have always played on my strengths and enabled me to build on my strengths and critiqued me on my weaknesses by telling me what to do, which was in stark contrast to the way my teachers in school behaved with me, writing me off on my weaknesses and completely ignoring my strengths.

For example, my English teachers were always bad-tripping on my poor penmanship instead of focusing on my ability to articulate and my language. The irony is, I am a professional writer now. My Telugu teachers always said “your dad is such a big figure in Telugu but you aren’t good at this” and insulted and humiliated me with their favorite “pandita putra parama suntha”, instead of answering my questions (which should have actually told them of my interest in learning).

txt
rich_1567678357833

Looking back and thinking about it, I feel it is a result of the educational system that’s in place in conjunction to letting every idiot join a school or a college as a teacher without judging them on their capability of being able to handle, guide and nurture children. While not all of my teachers in school were bad, in fact some were very supportive and in a way, I really owe my career in writing to Malathi Nagarajan, a teacher in my 10th, most of them just knew their subject and nothing else. I believe a system should be put in place to identify their abilities to handle children and extensive training should be given before unleashing them on young ones.

The rant aside, if I were to talk about the ones who actually taught me, my biggest teacher has been the Internet. Most of what I know, I have learnt through the thousands of hours of endless reading online.

txt
rich_1567678357834

Apart from that, my bosses have been my greatest teachers. If I have to list out, I can clearly tell what I learnt from the various bosses I’ve had. I learnt the nuances of writing digital content from Salahuddin and Siddharth in my first job. I learnt how not to be as a team-lead and the nuances of handling people at a workplace from my boss at the first newspaper that I worked at. I learnt how to pick stories in a newspaper from my senior Samyuktha at that same newspaper. My startup bosses Jitendra and Charan taught me how to prioritise things, taught me efficiency, taught me to use my strengths more effectively, gave me opportunities to lead, gave me opportunities to discover my potential in aspects that I never even thought about. My boss Srinivas Reddy at Telangana Today taught me a lot about writing for a specific audience, making me learn a lot more though I felt I knew it all. My senior and mentor Lalith at Telangana Today taught me to be a better journalist.

What’s common to all of these people? They focused on building on my strengths and working on my weaknesses in a proper manner. They gave me opportunities to grow instead of just writing me off on my weaknesses.

txt
rich_1567678357835

Lesson, it is not only a part of syllabus, but also it is part and parcel of life. Life is combination of lessons which we learn from point where we start to walk to the situation where we start to walk with help of a stick. Life, it is a dairy where we need to write our today lessons for the better and bright future. All these are taught by self experiences and/or from others.

Parents are the first teachers in everybody's life. During the childhood, they teach us how to walk, they teach us how to talk, they teach us how to eat and many more. After certain age, in school, they teach us how to manage and understand things around us, how to study them, how to plan things, how to behave and so on. These are the important lessons one must have for their overall development.

This man(myself) believes that life is never ending learning journey where we are the drivers of the life and people around us are the passengers. They come into our journey with loads of experience and leave you explaining their journey. We have to import the best lessons from their journeys into our lives. Likewise, I learnt many things from my parents, my surrounding people and few more. But the most influential person was my physics sir, Manish sir.

Myself being an avid thinker, Sir taught me to look at things in a deeper and broader way. He made me into science club and gave me liberty of looking into each and every project or presentation and understand them. He used to ask questions later which gave me more knowledge. He helped me to build my first robot in my 8th class for one of the science fair. He was burning midnight oil for my project and was always motivating on my failures. On the day of prize presentation, he greeted me for MY success and gave a hug. Later, in every project from my school, I was included in Research and Development team. All these transformed me into a complete project and practical mind where I have done more than 20 projects till now and few more are adding into them in the coming future.

I thank every teacher and my parents on this teacher's day. I thank everyone who has carved this rocky homo sapien into a sculpture of knowledge and wisdom.
"}]

I still remember being scolded upon repeatedly for getting horrible marks in math!! Yes, she was my Math teacher in my 6th standard named Mrs. Sridevi. She was the reason for my confident math ability today. Though I am not very good at it I'm neither worse. I was her most irritating student in the class always asking silly doubts like why is 2+2=4 and why not 5!! I was such a typical kid especially when it comes to math.

She would answer all my questions patiently and would teach me a bunch of tips and tricks to solve the problems with ease. She would come to the examination hall and would stare at my answer sheet if at all she found a mistake in the paper, done, I'm gone for the day!! That strict she was. She was the person who always put me 85 out of 100 where I'm supposed to get 90, so as to build that fire in me to secure more marks.

She was not only my math teacher instead, my guide, my mentor, my discipline keeper, my cleanliness checker and what not! To conclude in a line, she was a sculptor of my mind. Because of her, I learned how to respect elders and teachers, stay tidy and obedient, to excel in my academics as well as my co-curricular. She would get a spark in her eyes whenever I was first in class or won in any competition conducted in the school.

She was the whole and sole responsible person for carving my character and building my ethics. Teachers are our second mothers they say, but she was none other than my most loving and caring mother at home and a firm and stringent second mother at school.

Thanking her on this teacher's day and greeting all the teachers a Very Happy Teacher's Day, as you are profession is the reason for building many other professions.

The festival is celebrated throughout India, almost every household, at an individual level, as well as together, at the community level. It begins with the installation of an idol of Lord Ganesh. In the days that follow, the idol is worshipped daily by family members along with their relatives, friends, and neighbors who come to have darshan.

On the very first day, we buy an idol from the market. After proper rituals, the deity Is placed at home in a pandal. We keep Ganesh for 5days where every day special rituals are performed. Our mom prepares five different delicious prasad for five days. After five days we will immerse the Ganesh in a river.

Coming to the most awaited part is the celebrations at our colony Ganesh. Everyday special rituals, celebrations, music, dance performances, and cultural activities are performed. Every year you happened to meet new friends along with the old friends. Sometimes we wakeup entire night playing the games over there. On the eleventh day, a large procession takes place, in which we take the idol towards the river and immerse it into the water. This ritual indicates that God is everywhere and formless and also the concept nothing is permanent.

We happily play, enjoy and have a lot of fun these 10days. Finally, the 11th day makes me feel that time has gone so fast these days and little sad that, from tomorrow we are not going to had all these and waiting eagerly for the next year Ganesh Chaturthi to come.
"}]
"Art speaks where words are unable to explain", said Mathiole explaining us the very inception of a wonderful talent Induja. Hey Folks ,

Mayank here. A Student, an Enthusiast and a Musician at MGIT. To begin with, I started my journey listening music and singing along. I was fascinated by the styles singers used in melody and rhyme to speak what they feel. It was then I discovered my interest in music. It was during college when I actually started performing where Armaan Malik inspired me and has always been my idol. There were times when I made a ton of mistakes but fortunately My family, friends and The Music Club Symphony, held me up and guided me in all possible ways. The Club mates have a very special place in my heart. I remember one of those events when in I was extremely nervous to perform so they stood among the audience and cheered me up. Their love, patience and support is what I can never forget. I would love to mention each and every person but I guess the list won't end. The confidence and the improvements that I've made all these years could only be possible because of the practices I've done along with them. Lastly, I would like to say that it has always been fun to actively participate in events and discover new challenges and experiences. This has not only been the journey of music but also the journey of an introvert to an extrovert.
