I felt hopeless when I saw my best friend die infront of my eyes, he pushed me out of the car only for an another car to hit ours and cause an explosion. Initially, I used to smoke to get high, now I smoke to stay sane. When the tragedy of pain and hurt descended upon me, I sought the help of marijuana. It started out of curiosity but in the end it became an aspect of my entire being. Pain became an illusion.I was dependent on it, always chasing the next high, it paved way for other hard drugs, alcohol and cigarettes. I liked the way it numbed the pain, all my senses focussed on the euphoria. I even failed at committing suicide, he ran upto me and hugged me.
