His passion was to get an Automobile Engineering degree, but he had to settle in Mechanical Engineering stream as he was not able to get a seat in the desired stream.

But he had it all, he has done many internships under the Automobile industry, he was also selected as the best intern in an Automobile internship program conducted at National Level.

He none other than Nishit Puvati, a student from DRK engineering college who dreams high and is always striving to achieve them.

His journey stands as an inspiration for each and every student, he is the kind of a student who never gives up!

Nishith was the main reason behind the invention of the Mini Bike which became quite popular among the students. He is not only a creator of that bike but also a multi- talented person who is almost into everything.

One of his major talents is Kick Boxing, read on as he shares his journey with Stumagz.

" Im Nishit Puvati,21 years old. I'm a Mechanical Engineering student from DRK Institute of Science and Technology.

Though I'm studying Mechanical Engineering for a degree, there are many other things I would really love to do. For instance, though I love automobile engineering, Im studying Mechanical engineering as I was not able get a seat. But becoming an Automobile engineer and starting an Automobile company is my dream, I couldn't give up on it. It was my mistake not getting the required rank for automobile. So I started doing Internships right from my second year. I've done 5 Internships till now and will be doing 4 more very soon. Of course I had to skip college a lot for doing this.

In the beginning my family didn't like me doing it but once in an Automobile Internship conducted at national level, I was selected as the best Intern then my family understood what I was doing wasn't vain.

I believe in practical knowledge, this made me go to the mechanics who stays nearby my place and learn some work by helping them. Which was also useful to our team and me in building our dream Project (Mini bike ).

Apart from these, there are many things which I do to make myself happy. The first one in the list is Kickboxing. I'm a 2015 National Gold Medalist under the 66kgs weight category and stood 4th in 2016 National Professional Kickboxing Championship. I train under Master Suresh Patil from ISKIMOS KICKBOXING ACADEMY. My interest in martial arts started when I was in 1st grade. My school had Budokan, so I was like any other student in school practicing this style thrice a week. I continued this style till my 4th class and then I practiced Taekwondo till my 6th grade.

I was in boarding school in my 8th and 9th grade, my own classmates used to bully me and harass me. There was a situation once I was stripped and threatened with a belt by my roommates. All those years I never took my martial arts seriously until one day I met Dr. Rama Krishna my Wushu master in school. I started training in Wushu and this time it was not just out of interest it was for a reason, TO FIGHT FOR MYSELF. Within few months, I have participated in the 7th Kurnool District Wushu championships. And I was the gold medalist there and in 9th Wushu Kurnool district championships, I was a Silver medalist. My life was very happy till then, I was one of the finest dancers in school and I was an NCC cadet. In the NCC camp at Anathapur in 2009, I was awarded as the Best Cadet of the camp and the Most Accurate Shooter with 0.22 rifle. So I was selected for the Republic Day March at Delhi in front of the President of India. But because I was in 9th grade then and SSC boards were next year I was forced to stop all these.

So I started leading a normal boring life till my 12th grade. After 12th grade I've become so boring, I had no talent in anything. I've decided to start martial arts again but I felt I needed a change of style in martial arts. So after a lot of enquiry, I got to know a Kickboxing academy called ISKIMOS KICKBOXING was good. I joined there in 2012 and everything went well till I met with a bike accident in which I lost the tip of my middle finger. I was under a very serious medication and had to use the drugs which made me weak as a patient. I gave 2 years of time for myself and still couldn't get back to normal.

I met my Sir Suresh Patil (Iskimos KickBoxing ) one day and he promised me to get me back to normal like before. Then I started my kickboxing classes and within no time I've taken part in National Championships! Apart from kickboxing I either run 10kms a day or cycle 25 - 40 km a day. Every alternate morning I go for Yoga and Gymnastics. I go for swimming whenever I'm stressed out. I work as a Freelance Photographer on a part-time basis, I'm a Fashion Photographer and I work as a Candid photographer for weddings and other events sometimes. The best thing I love about myself is I volunteer for an NGO called Family services and meet the people at old age home every month and celebrate all their birthdays whose fall in that month. We dance, play, sing and share memories and moments with each other. And recently we invented a bike which became a sensational news all over the state."
