It's not only the academics which makes you the best in college but there are many other opportunities for you as a student and as a human being to develop and improve yourself.
One such student from Pullareddy Engineering College, Kurnool stands as a perfect example for all students.
Meet Narasimha, an outstanding student who always believes in positivity and who always keeps inspiring the fellow students by his thoughts and knowledge.
He shares few of his experiences with Stumagz.. Here we go..
"The real sense of engineering lies in the all-round development of an individual. Neither your CGPA nor your placement package does it. This is what I have believed in right from the day I have joined engineering.
The firm belief on positive thoughts pushed me to write an article on Power of Positive Thinking which was published in TRIENTA GLORIA, Annual magazine of our college.
The two ways I chose to make myself improve every day were to be enthusiastic and active always. It all began with a debate in a training session which made me get into Training & Placement Cell of the college as a Student Volunteer.
From then I used to participate in many events in and around the college right from the first year which gave me social exposure and filled in much confidence.
The very first one was participation in TATA Crucible Business Quiz which actually gave me an outlook of the contemporary scenario.
Second major turn happened when I took membership in IEEE and attended All India Student Congress at Ahmedabad in 2014. It was the right platform for me and paved a path for me towards the other direction which later made me Selected as Chairman of the Executive Committee of IEEE Student Branch, GPREC, later as Public Relations Ambassador for promoting IEEE Xtreme-9.0 and Student Network Representative of IEEE Hyderabad Section.
Different events I attended under IEEE include AISC’14, Kaizen-3.0,SIPP,EDP,AICSYC’15,SSC’15,AICSSYC’15,CSIS’16.
Looking forward to be an active Young Professional in coming days. Apart from these, I was also a T&P Cell Volunteer, Student Coordinator for Alumni affairs of our college, Coordinator for Pearl Jubilee Celebrations of our college.
I have participated in many other events like SIGMOID’14, HYCMUN’14,ISF’15, INSTINCTS’16. Debating and Quizzing are the two things I am more interested in, which helped me to bag prizes in many events.
It was all because of my parents who constantly encouraged me and I am grateful to all my friends, lecturers, well-wishers, and critics, most importantly in this journey. The quote that moves me forward every day is ‘You are the creator of your destiny’"
