A lot of students, when they reach their penultimate year of study tend to start losing interest in their core subject, and those who take up leadership roles in college, like student clubs start gaining interest in management.

You must be wondering what I should do after my B.Tech? Should I go for a master's? Should I take up a job? Write Civils? Or should I take up MBA?

Let me tell you! MBA after B.Tech is a course that is taken up very commonly these days. It is the most treading course every student runs after pursuing B.Tech.

Here are 5 reasons why you should take up MBA after your B.Tech

1) Course Recognition

MBA is a course that is recognized worldwide. It offers a wide scope for opportunities and internships in the management sector while helping build a huge network of alumni globally.

2) Technical and Management Expertise

Today, students with expertise in multiple domains remain to be sort after from the rest of the crowd. Top companies these days prefer candidates who have domain-specific technical knowledge as well as management skills.

3) Become your own boss

Again, not every student does MBA to grab job opportunities in top-notch companies at top managerial positions. Many students who pursue MBA choose to become entrepreneurs and become founders of startup companies.

4) Enhanced Packages

If you want to earn a ransom amount of money then MBA after B.Tech is the best choice you can take. Again, the more amount of experience you gain during your study period the more salaries you get.

Your technical skills combined with managerial skills give an advantage to the company to give a dual role to a single person.

5) Study flexible

A lot of MBA courses provide you with flexible study options like working while studying and distance learning. This helps them to learn required skills while studying, booth at the same time.

Along the same line, not only you must make sure to do this because you love doing it, but not only because everyone’s doing it. Make sure that doing what you love is more important than doing what everyone loves.
"}]
What is white paper, exactly?

A white paper is a piece of information that is typically published by a business or non-profit to emphasise or promote the benefits of a solution, product, or service that it now offers or plans to offer.

How to write a white paper?

Step 1: Select a Topic

● Before you begin writing your white paper, you must first decide on a topic. To select a topic that is both relevant and meaningful, consider the following:

● Is there any element of your industry that has very little content or information available online?

● Is there a specific aspect of your business you'd like to investigate and report on?

● Is there anything your team has done that could be replicated?

Choose a topic that you are well-versed in. White papers are expert documents, so make sure you have enough information to provide and sources or proof to back it up.

Step 2: Carry out in-depth research

Once you've decided on a topic, it's time to start gathering information and data to develop informative content that provides real value.

You can collect data for your white paper from both internal and external sources. The more you research your subject, the more original and beneficial your content will be.

Check all of your facts.

It's in your best interest to share stuff that you know is trustworthy and true. Don't miss this stage, and double-check the facts you get from both previously published articles and interviews.

Step 3: Know Your Audience

Considering your audience is an important component of selecting a topic and creating content for a white paper.

A better understanding of your audience is required; simply taking into account your audience is insufficient. Consider the following:

● What makes this topic appealing to my audience?

● What information does my target audience typically consume?

● How much does my audience know about this subject?

● Which research analysis is more suited for my audience?

Step 4: Create an outline and format for your white paper.
After conducting the necessary research, you are now prepared to create the content. But, before you can unleash your inner storyteller, you must first prepare an outline. This outline will most likely lay the groundwork for a fantastic Table of Contents in the final design.

As an example, here is a simple outline for a white paper:

● Title

● Summary or Abstract

● Introduction

● Section Subheadings

● Footnotes/Sources

● Conclusion

● A good white paper will ultimately result in the reader having an "Aha!" experience.

● Work with document editing software such as Google Docs or Microsoft Word to build an outline for your white paper.

● Use high-level titles for the most important portions of your material, then branch out into subheadings.

● The format of a white paper is a standard document format. Consider a white paper as more of a research paper than a report.

● The distinction is that a report includes conclusions in the executive summary or introduction, but a white paper includes them at the end.

Step 5: Create an Eye-Catching Title

The cover of your white paper is the first thing readers will notice. Make it inviting, captivating, and eye-catching. The main feature of your cover is your title or headline, so pay close attention to it.

Step 6: Compose a Captivating Opening

As previously said, white papers have a conclusion at the end, which means you'll need to greet your readers with a different form of introduction at the start.

Don't reveal too much, but be sure to highlight the key elements.

Step 7: Use Subheadings to Divide the Content

It's time to properly format the content of your white paper at this point. Use subheadings to split up the material within each main part to make it simpler to read.

Step 8: Use data to back up your content

White papers are supposed to be helpful, valuable, and well-researched. And there is no better method to back up your conclusions than with reliable information.

Using verified facts, statistics, quotes, and other data as evidence in your white paper can help your company create authority in its area.

You can utilise data visualisation tools, such as charts, graphs, widgets, maps, and more, to make your data more interesting.

Step 9: Ensure Each Paragraph Has Value

This advice is more crucial than you may realise. A white paper is not a magazine editorial or a fiction novel, therefore avoid using filler words. There must be some value in every sentence.

Step 10: Edit and Proofread

Never skip the editing and proofreading phase. A small error in a title or a redundant sentence might undo all the research and writing effort you've put in.

A white paper guides the reader upward toward a conclusion that will make them feel as if they have learned something significant using thoroughly researched approaches, solutions, and facts.

As I indicated before, a white paper's content leads the reader on a journey from a fundamental issue or claim.

Student Tribe #6

A community where students can expand their network and meet the brightest minds.

College is a place where students should learn how to network, but this is not happening as it should. So, we're building a student community where students can meet new people, make real-world connections, and can also get some opportunities. All you have to do is join a STUDENT TRIBE meet, which happens every Saturday, know more about the community, and evaluate whether or not you will benefit from it. STUDENT TRIBE has built a community of 210 students from various educational institutions throughout Hyderabad in just five meet-ups.

Watch out few glimpses of the week 6 student tribe meet at T-Works, Hyderabad.

We had significant speakers from the EV Industry who engaged with students of the tribe. Later, we had electric bicycles and bikes for test drive to the students of the tribe by the EV companies GHMEV and Hala Mobility.

Have you ever thought about going abroad for your master's after graduating? Finally to experience being independent in its truest meaning, tasting the truest freedom without being scared, getting to know a new culture, lifestyle and a whole new experience… and studying.

Such an enticing thing who doesn’t want that? And many are striving to get a good score in TOFEL, IELTS and many more with their hard work and strong determination. Which can make even a man cry. Even after cracking it with so much effort, many are facing a setback in the visa interview.

The visa interview for students is not actually for immigration, they don't want the students to settle in the country and they want you to come after your study abroad. And they reject you even if there is a slight doubt that “you won't return”.

So we need to prepare ourselves to face the interview for an F-1 visa. So let's get into it.

First and foremost be sure to have all the documents required: your passport, DS-160 confirmation, proof of finances and other important documents which show your home ties, and create a connection which shows your motivation to return to your home country. Like, say that you have a job offer waiting here upon your return. Or say that you have personal or business assets here and presenting the documents related to these also greatly helps, there are many cases where the visa was rejected due to these particular documents.

The interview does not last long so try to be as confident as you can, reach the place before the allotted time and you don’t have to be in a formal. The semi-formal look can also be preferred.

When it comes to the actual interview which doesn’t take even a couple of minutes, you have to be brief about what you are saying and only say what is necessary confidently. Even if you are anxious, which you will obviously be as you see the interview of the person before you, try not to show it.

In the interview, they may ask how many universities you have applied to, why you selected that particular university, and why that particular program. So know the details of the university and program prior to the interview. You have to answer these questions in a way that shows that you are actually just going to study a program but it just so happens to be the United States of America. You need to show that you are not interested in visiting the US.

They may ask you whether you have taken the GMAT or others and you can show them the score if necessary.

Here comes the tough one which may as well decide whether your visa will be accepted or rejected and that is “what’s your plan after the program ends?”. For this one, you have to show strong home ties whether it may be a job offer or you may be a part of a start-up, you also have to show the documents so be prepared.

These are a few tips for the preparation for visa interviews and it is strongly advisable to take mock interviews to have an idea and clarity.

"}]
FRIENDS - a common emotion we all go through. We laugh, we quarrel, we unite, we play, we promise to stay together, and make many memories together both good and bad and laugh at them.

From childhood to adulthood we all are surrounded by people who we call friends. Some come as strangers and become friends, some friends become strangers, and some we never forget.

On this friendship day we thought of bringing back those memories which are associated with you, so, here are some of the craziest characters we meet somewhere or the other.

Types of friends:

1. The Gang Leader

The Gang leader is the person who always shows their domination in a group and leads it. They always tend to make decisions that the group must obey.

2. The 5 minutes bro

We all have this character with whom we get frustrated once in a while. He is the one who comes late and always tells us he will be reaching in 5 minutes but never actually shows up that early.

3. The Cry baby

Late night drama, complaining and sobbing. The person who takes everything to the heart and always feels sad about everything and finds stupid reasons to cry.

4. The Spoiler

Have you ever cancelled a plan as a group because of that ONE friend? If yes, then he/she is the one who fits into this character. This person always cancels at the last moment and shocks the group, eventually cancelling the whole plan.

5. The Non-Sync:

Here comes the highlighted character from the show. He is the most non-sync person who never comes with the context-related talk. He has his own world with his own thoughts. He needs to be dragged into the discussion to make him synchronous. He then sometimes becomes our happy pill.

6.The Dreamer

Big ambitions, discipline, and hard work - resemble this person. This person always dreams of success and follows rules to make their life a success story. We sometimes get inspired and try to be productive like them but we tend to fail every time.

7. The Star Kid

Fame, father money, good looks - don't lie, we all wanted to be this person once in our lifetime, who we are jealous about and always have a little execration towards them. This person has a charm that everyone attracts to and wants to be around them. But eventually, everyone realizes this isn't the thing they are looking for.

8.The Soulmate

He is the person with whom we have this” MUSTAFA MUSTAFA” friendship. We all have at least one person in our lives, with whom we share anger, sorrow, happiness, love, and almost every emotion and can pretty much rely upon without having a feeling of being judged. This person never gets fed up with our stories and guides us through every stage in life. His scoldings are the enlightenment at times for us.

While reading this, many friends come to our minds, but every friend has a different role in our life as every friend is UNIQUE.

Share this, and let us know the characters of your story.
"}]

Saying NO is the ultimate productivity hack. Always, not doing something is faster than doing it. We give commitments on the first hand and then get frustrated by the work eventually.

If something is required, it is worthwhile to inquire. A simple "no" will be more effective than any work the most productive individual can manage because many of them are not.

SO WHY SAY YES?

Many times, we comply with demands not because we want to but rather because we don't want to appear across as rude, arrogant, or useless. We frequently assume that they will serve our future needs.

Working together with others is a crucial part of life. Our time and effort investment is outweighed by the possibility of straining the relationship.

Being courteous in your responses can be useful. Do whatever favours you can, and when you have to say no, be kind and direct.

Part of NO!

At any point in your work, learning to say "NO" is crucial because it preserves your time, which is your most valuable resource.

Saying no to anything that isn't helping you reach your objectives is necessary. Steve Jobs best exemplified this concept when he remarked, "People assume focus implies saying yes to the thing you've got to focus on. But that's not at all what it means. It means saying no to the hundred other good ideas that there are. You have to pick carefully.”

More time and energy is lost doing things that are pointless than is lost doing things ineffectively. In such a case, therefore the ability to eliminate is more beneficial than the ability to optimise.

Upgrade your NO: As your abilities grow and you learn to distinguish between what is effective and ineffective, you must constantly raise your bar for accepting a yes.

The whole voice that is put into words is about knowing that “NO” is a decision and “YES” is a responsibility.

"}]
Have you ever attended a workshop or a seminar where this one guy holds a mike and goes on and on about time management, soft skills all the stuff about personality development? No, this is not about that one youtube ad that always bugs us. Let us know what exactly soft skills mean.

The reality is that we don’t admire ourselves. Instead, we strive to admire successful people and follow their ways. We neglect our inner beauty because of the surrounded circumstances and are always under a constant threat of being judged. But being yourself is the key that makes you create the success paths.

Here are a few of the important soft skills one must acquire.

Optimism

Emotional Intelligence

Responsibility

A sense of humour

Integrity

Time management

Motivation

Creativity

Empathy

Leadership

Communication

Good manners and etiquette

Sociability

The ability to teach
Problem-solving

So let’s cool down it’s not that I wanted to overwhelm you. I just wanted to give you a glimpse of what you are up against. I can just write here that do this and that and voila! You shine and sparkle. Then you just go through this as every other thing you come across.

That’s what I heard throughout my life “do this you get that, do that you get this”, for god sake. This is not how it goes actually, at the end you just end up choosing the wrong career path. Trust me you don’t wanna be there, no one says about it even the ones experiencing it. You need to develop your soft skills whatever prejudice you have, thrash it. There are many platforms out there some even introduced by the state to provide these skills for free. There are many great minds, not the ones I said earlier but the actual ones. Who provide their thoughts and techniques to achieve.

The technical stuff which we cramped into our brains can only get us to the first year of our first job. The latter depends on your ability to understand your teammates, co-workers, and managers and how you leave an impression about your personality, only then you can move up.

By creating ourselves an amicable and professional personality we can achieve many things. Let it be a corporate career or any field you choose to go to, it’s necessary to build a strong network to grab the opportunities which will become more competitive in the future.

"}]
On 21st July 2022, the first campus interview was held offline in MRCET(Malla Reddy College of Engineering and Technology). The company which came to recruit is Virtusa. As it is a growing company in the IT industry, this came with a vision saying “Catch up, keep up and pull ahead”.

The recruitment process involved three rounds.

The first round is the written test which is about 3h 30min, conducted online.

The test consists of 6 sections which includes

Aptitude

Verbal Ability

Reasoning

Computer Fundamentals

Coding

Power coding

Almost 800 students eligible for the written test have the prerequisites such as

6.5 or above CGPA

Are from CSE,IT,ECE,EEE departments

Can contend with java

On the day of the interview, the lead HR of Virtusa conducted a pre-placement talk, gave an overview of the company and explained about the further rounds and the students who have cleared their written test are eligible to attend the technical and HR interviews. The ones who clear the coding round are eligible for 5.5lpa and for power coding it is 7.5lpa

Out of 800, half of them had cleared the written test in and 22 were power coders.

All of them came with a positive attitude. They burned the midnight oil revising all the technical concepts and were very confident in the morning when they were allocated to 10 panels. Each panel consists of an HR person who interviews the candidates. They asked common technical questions as if it is a rapid-fire round and some of them wondered about in-depth java concepts and some made students write code and execute it. That was the most horrible part of the interview for many of them.

Below are the few Virtusa interview questions:

1) Tell me about yourself and explain what are the technologies you have learnt

2) Explain your projects

3) Basics of java

4) OOPs concepts of Java, and Python and try to explain with examples

5) Method overloading and Overriding in java and try to explain with an example program and also threads concept

6)Java Collections, Explain the framework ( important)

7) SQL basics like joins, constraints, Dbms, Rdbms, Tables

8)Codes on Arrays, Functions

9)Which inheritance is not implemented in java and why?

10)Software Development Life cycle

11) Differentiate HTML, CSS, javascript

12)Different commands in DDL and DML

13)Query to find the second highest salary from the given table

14)Sorting programs

15)Basic programs like string reverse and Fibonacci

This Company is basically Java Oriented so students tried to focus more on java and also the other programming languages.

After the interview was over, students felt very relaxed. But that didn't last for much time. The next thing about which they were very much worried is the RESULTS. The final results were out in the evening, some of them were on cloud nine knowing that they had cracked the interview, but some others had waited all day long to know that they were rejected which is a real test of their patience. That discouraging and upsetting moment made them realise how to face rejection and how not to be overwhelmed with success.

130 students have cleared the technical interview and were sent to the HR round where some of the questions asked were

Tell me about yourself

Why do you want to work with Virtusa?

Did you copy the Exam?

What are your strengths and weaknesses?

Why should we hire you?

Are you willing to relocate?

ADD-ONs:

Communication skills are the key.

Projects need to be conceptually strong.

Be Confident.

Know about the company prior to the interview.

Critical and creative thinking are an advantage.

Practise coding and improve problem-solving ability

That's a laid-back moment for everyone who has completed their HR interview. The most challenging question for many is to answer the question: Did you copy in the written test?

But the fact is even though we copy in the written test we will be picked out during the technical interview. End of the day out of 130, 90 students were placed in Virtusa and they also had interaction with the Quality Management director of Virtusa. A laboratory was inaugurated for providing training on Full Stack testing with Selenium and Automation to the freshers. This was a great beginning for the students with offer letters.

That was a day with mixed emotions and the first ever experience of placements offline for every student.
"}]
Have a pending assignment? or Want to stay the night playing your favorite video game? or Do you have an exam tomorrow morning? All these reasons and there it is, one of the most loved beverages for anyone who is a night owl and loves to spend as though the nights are days is either Coffee or Tea.

Both the beverages contain a substance called Caffeine, which is a kind of substance that gives a boot to your mood, activates your brain, and improves physical and mental performance.

Small amounts of caffeine intake is said to be good for your health. But we all know, how addicting coffee or tea can be. Once you start having them there is no end to it.

Here are 3 reasons why Caffeine is jeopardizing your health.

1 . Anxiety

Caffeine is super famous to increase alertness. And high doses of caffeine can lead to anxiety and Nervousness.
A brain chemical called adenosine that makes a person feels tired is blocked with the consumption of caffeine. It also triggers the release of Adrenaline levels which in turn increases energy.

If you notice that you often feel nervous or jittery, it might be a good idea to look at your caffeine intake and cut it back.

2. Insomnia

The most prized possession ability of caffeine is to help you stay awake throughout the night. On the funnier side, it can also help you to become a zombie!!

Okay! Seriously, when you consume more than 1000 mg of caffeine on a daily basis. Let's say more than 3 “Grande” cups of coffee at Starbucks it becomes difficult for one to restore early sleep habits. It becomes incredibly difficult for you to sleep early even when your body is exhausted, leading to a lack of sleep.

Not having enough sleep can again trigger many health issues which can turn out to be very severe in the mere future. Importantly, the amount of caffeine you can consume without affecting your sleep will depend on your genetics and other factors.

3. Muscle Breakdown

Haha! Now, this is for all those gym lovers who cannot live without and can never part themselves from Caffeine!

Rhabdomyolysis is a very serious condition in which damaged muscle fibers enter the bloodstream, leading to kidney failure and other problems.

There are several reports that have been given on how excessive caffeine intake can lead to the development of Rhabdomyolysis, Don't worry! This is rare, but look out!

FUN FACT: In one case, a woman developed nausea, vomiting, and dark urine after drinking 1 liter of coffee containing roughly 565 mg of caffeine. Fortunately, she recovered after being treated with medication and fluids

But nevertheless, the bottom line for all this is that these are only a few of the negative impacts of high caffeine intake. Keep a watch on how much caffeine you give your body, and monitor even the slightest changes within your body like weight gain, weight loss, changes in facial texture, etc.

And, it's safe to say that low to moderate consumption of caffeine can also show impressive health benefits.

So, Stay Health!! And grow Healthy!!
"}]
