Hey Mom,

I'm coming back to you, in the similar way dad came,

wrapped in Tri-Color, shortened by an inch or two.

I know you're strong mom,

I know you would pass this too.

Last time you hugged me when dad was gone,

this time I'm sorry I won't be there to cry with you.

Hold me in your arms one last time,

kiss me on my forehead till I'm with you,

I promise I won't run away this time,

that's true I won't reciprocate too.

Remember it's just my body that's gone,

remember your son is still with you.

You were the one who gave me this life,

I'd continue living my life in you

Ask my love to forgive me this time,

tell her there was nothing that I could do

On the day when love sent sparks in our lives,

those people made me burn for it too.

Hey Maa,

For this one last time,

Sports are to health like salt is to food. Food is tasteless without salt, Life is worthless without sports.

Sports make a person active and energetic. It keeps them in proper health and makes them happy. Sports play a vital role in a person’s physical health, mental health and life.

Today, we see everyone running behind success and say education is the key to success. Right from the age of 4-5, kids are sent to schools, then to junior colleges, later to graduation college. Then they get into jobs or business to start this so-called rat race of ‘wake up, work, sleep & repeat’.

In this life cycle, we forget to eat, smile, walk, talk or live this life.

These habits of non-timing eating, irregular physical activity, lack of proper sleep, over stress on mind make a person unhealthy by mind and body. After analysing this, schools and colleges have started inculcating sports in academics. Sports now has become a compulsory part of schools and college’s timetables. This also helps in bringing out talented sportsmen and women in there who not only achieved great prizes for themselves but also bring fame and name to their institutions.

Here are my batch mates, the famous sports personalities of my college from batch 2k19:

Vishal Chauhan:
The “Sportsperson of the year” title was awarded to Vishal Chauhan in the year 2k18. He is a civil engineering student. IELTS – Gateway to your dreams of studying abroad

Are you planning to study abroad ?

An English language proficiency test is one of the pre-requisites for many of the overseas universities.

IELTS is one of the most preferred English language proficiency tests which is accepted by most of the Universities in USA , Australia, Canada, Ireland, New Zealand and many others.

What is IELTS ?

International English Language Testing System (IELTS) is an English language proficiency test conducted by the British Council. It tests the full range of English language skills required to live in an English-speaking country.

The following aspects are tested in the test:

• Listening

• Reading

• Writing

• Speaking

A real life conversation is part of the assessment. Various variations of English like – British English, American English and Australian English are covered.

IELTS Test Format

IELTS has two versions of the test – IELTS Academic & IELTS General. There is a slight variation in the two tests but in both the cases the test takers are assessed on the aforementioned four skills viz, Listening , Reading, Writing & Speaking.

Each of the skills (module) is graded on a band of 1-9 and also includes half points. ( eg. 4.5, 7.5 etc.). The overall score of the test would be the average band score from all the four tests.
There is no minimum cutoff from the test perspective i.e you cannot fail the test.

However, each University/ institution has a specific cutoff -criteria which needs to be met to gain admission.

How to take the test?

You can take test either on a paper or a computer. You need to book a test slot at any of the recognized centers. The “Speaking” part of the test would be a face to face one with a trained IELTS Examiner.

Preparation

At the outset, getting a good score in the IELTS does appears to be an achievable task especially for someone with fairly good English language skills. However, there are certain skills and nuances which need to be understood, that would help to score better in the IELTS test.

An expert trainer would be able to provide the required guidance to gain insights and develop skills to score higher in the test.

Why IMFS ?

IMFS is India’s best coaching institute for overseas Test prep. It has British Council certified and trained Faculty who would help you to score better in the IELTS test.

Q) From where did you get this great idea?

There are no schools that are available at Mancherial district for blind. To ensure that all blind have access to education, I started this school in the loving memory of my son.

Q) How did you choose your profession?

When talking about my profession,I persuing dance from a very young age and eventually I became a classical dance teacher.

Q) Being a dance teacher how will u manage these children?

I do conduct and perform dance programs and from whatever I get, I manage and run this institution. As mentioned above we have 25 members and further we are planning to take in orphan. Even though our thoughts are good and for the well being of people, the money is restricting and binding us down. Even though we have limited staff and funds for the rent we are planning on taking in some more students next year.

Q) Are the students restricted to only studies or are there any other courses too?

We are open to kids up to 10th class. We offer various other courses like dance, music, yoga, instruments, computer and abacus in Braille script.

Q) Do you know Braille?

I do know but the whole education field is handled by my wife who has completed special B.ED on visual impairment.

Q) What is your Favorite profession? Being a dance teacher or school principal? Which gives you more satisfaction?

Both dance teacher and school principal. But my dance profession is the resource, that helps me run the school.

Q) Are there any students who got their vision back?

Two members have got their vision back. If a child has a possibility to gain their eye sight back we ask their parents to try in hospital rather joining the school. As of now we have children who have no chance to gain their vision back.

Q) Where do you get these children from?

There is no particular source of education for these children in this whole mancherial district. So automatically people will join this institution once they come to know about it.

Q) Did you ever think of quitting it or handing over responsibility to others?

Watching the movie "Gully Boy", every one of us got inspired by the struggle and the determination involved behind the face of popular rappers.

Now is the time to read and get to know more about the journey of such underground rappers. Below is a small interview of one such rapper, Rajveer Sharma.

Q: Tell us something about yourself?

RAJ: I am Rajveer Sharma from Chattisgarh, Korba. Ever since I was a kid I had interest in hip hop music, music has always been my first love but I was more inclined towards dancing, later when I got more familiar with the music and rapping I begun listening and writing raps during my school days.

Q: Have you written any songs, if yes what are your best creations so far?

RAJ: I have written many songs. The closest to my heart are "Indopak", "Akela" and "Sahi Hai Sahi Hai". You can check them out on youtube ;)

Q: What made you write these songs, what were the stories behind these?

RAJ: These songs are really close to my heart and have a deep meaning according to me. I can brief you about them:

The song "Akela" itself conveys loneliness. I realized this a very early stage that people will merely support you with your dreams and understand what your passion is. It's only you who has to face the consequences and take criticism and you should consider it as a chance to improve which takes you one step closer to the best.

This rap in "Sahi Hai Sahi Hai" is all about positivity. It has very simple that while chasing your dreams you should be optimistic enough to pursue what you want and should not bother about others opinion.

Q: What inspired you to pursue rap music?

RAJ: Bohemia is my all-time inspiration. Apart from that, I thoroughly follow Eminem and Divine.

Q: Whom would you consider as your mentor(s) in the field of music?

RAJ: I would consider Zack Knight, Mickey Singh, and Master Salim as my mentors.

Q: What hip-hop albums did you grow up listening to?

RAJ: "Love the way you" lie and "not afraid" by Eminem."Kali Dinali" by Bohemia himself.

Q: What would be your dream collaboration with any rapper or producer?

RAJ: My recent favorites are Roll Rida, Badshaah and Raftaar. I would love to collaborate with them in near future.

Q: How has your experience in the music industry been so far?

RAJ: It was no less than a roller coaster ride. I did get appreciation at the same time criticism for not following the same repetitive career path which every parent desire their children to be. To get in this field I went through ignorance and humiliation which taught me more about life, I want to convey my journey and experience through my rap songs. Stay tuned for many more new songs of mine coming up soon.

MY TAKE ON FYI

Most of us have seen and attended events and TV shows which elevate successful people.

They are given a lot of attention, but what about the people who work so hard to make our lives better and are not yet given enough recognition and appreciation they require?

We need a platform for such unknown, hidden and unconventional superheroes to share their experiences and stories to inspire people to follow their dreams and passion.

FYI's intention is to do exactly that, to enhance and bring real professions into limelight.

It wants to introduce you to a few special people from various walks of life who chose innovative journeys in their individual communities.

It believes their unconventional stories are a true motivation to anyone willing to take the first step towards one's goals. Their drive is to provide a platform for such passionate people whose work deserves an opportunity to be recognized and how a simple thought led them to where they are now.

When I first heard the idea, I was completely stirred up, it felt so fresh and stimulating. There are so many innovations and people involved to make our lives easier and merrier but only a few of them are appreciated or given importance to, why not we take this opportunity to thank them and listen to their parts and how much they struggled to reach the position they are in now. It's a great opportunity for anyone looking for inspiration.

And as the saying goes, "A role model provides more than inspiration; his or her very existence is confirmation of possibilities one may have every reason to doubt saying, "Yes, someone like me can do this"

Come let's be a part of this remarkable event, on 25th February

Let’s fill the auditorium, let’s make it happen. Let’s do a one of a kind event.

People should never forget about this day.

Let’s give away internships to students on the basis of their skills and not GPA.

Let us not give certificate to the audience but deliver an event where each one goes back home with a new skill learnt.

Let’s make it happen.

2 days before LAKSHYA

Students are not buying the passes because almost all colleges have exams on next day.

A few students don’t believe they can actually get internships in an event.

Do we have to postpone the pre launch?

At this pace we will hardly be able to fill only half of the auditorium.

Sleep talks about the pass sales.

1 day before LAKSHYA

Hands and feet don’t stop sweating.

We have to do this, let’s have half the audience but let’s make it unbelievable.

Let’s plan the activities, but have no time to plan anything.

Sending mails to the attendees and confirming the presence of all the speakers takes all the time.

Random idea strikes, we go to the Design Thinking Lab and pick up some random props.

Prepares the presentation for the event and goes to sleep.

During LAKSHYA

It started raining, water drops were not falling from the sky but spontaneous decisions were.

Constant thunders could be heard, not from the sky but from the audience clapping for the performers.

There were high winds, winds of ideas, wide of thoughts flowing across the auditorium.

Moments after LAKSHYA

Students who came even though they had exams the next day were glad to make the decision.

Students got internships through their skills.

Those who did not believe, missed the chance.

Half auditorium was filled, but it was full of ideas and determination.

Entrepreneurship Cell Head could not believe that these two boys pulled off such an event.

An undergraduate comes up to give an invitation to come as a guest speaker at his college.

Another attendee says that he wanted to become like me.

And another requests to take a selfie.

Every attendee took away a skill back home.

Instead of asking us about the certificate, audience asked when the Launch of Widhya is going to happen?

Time is not what’s not enough, determination is what that’s not enough.

txt
rich_1550664058269

Creating a difference is not that easy, but I believe that we need to start somewhere to create a difference. To help me achieve my goal, I need your help. I'm trying to remove the current rote learning approach of learning which focuses on more learning by doing approach and I'll be able to achieve my goal only if you all are ready to adopt this methodology of learning!
