The trailer of Akshay Kumar starer ‘Rustom’ released recently. It generated a lot of curiosity among the cinema lovers. The reason for the curiosity being the story that changed the face of Indian judicial system.

Directed by Neeraj Pandey who previously made films like Wednesday,Special 26 and Baby were box-office hits. The film’s story is inspired by the 1959 Nanavati case. However, the movie was also made on almost similar lines in 1973 called ‘Achanak’.The film was also an instant hit.

The story revolves around Nanavati,a Persian who married Sylvia in 1931.Being a Naval officer Nanavati was away from his home for most of the time. They had a two sons and daughter.Sylvia later fell in love with his friend Prem Ahuja.Nanavati who returned home after his naval assignment.Sylvia, who was found depressed told about her feelings.Nanavati excused himself and went straight to the naval base and collected pistol. Then,he went to Prem’s house.Nanavati asked Prem whether he would like to marry Sylvia and accept his children?.Prem replied, “Will I marry everyone I sleep with?”.This angered Nanavati and he fired three shots.

The word “college” will surely stir up some sweet and some bitter memories. The first thing ,I’m sure, that comes to your mind will be your friends, the crazy stuff you did together- mass bunks, boycotts(minor ones :P ), eating during class, “team work” during exams and maybe getting caught red handed, missing deadlines for submission …. The list goes on…

I still remember my first day of college- the unsure, scared chicken look on my face, trying not to look at the hordes of seniors lined up for the “introduce yourself session”. The image of ragging as shown in films was etched in my mind and when a few seniors came up to me for the same, I sank deeper into an imaginary hole. By and by, I realized ragging needn’t be the same as they show in movies, its not scary at all. In fact, it was fun ( OK, sometimes!). maybe I was lucky to have friendly seniors .its funny how the same people we detest in the first year become our “go-to” people in the final year. From survival tips to how to score well and now tips on future prospects, they sure moved on from “scary people zone” to people I can look up to.

I spend more time now in the usual haunts in college instead of hanging out outside. The cricket ground, the thing I call “footpath” and how can I miss the beloved TKR food court? Each one of the The friends I found here , be it the seniors, juniors or friends from other branches , have etched memories in my heart that I will cherish forever.

The students have utilised the parts of old cars to make the vehicle at a minimal cost. One of the four developers, Kishan Pansurya, said "though the car can travel little distances, it can still be used in small campuses.
