When I was told that I had to write about what happens in my college I was like what happens in my college and I thought of the clubs which we had in our college and the first one that I had in my mind was Chaitanya Kreeda. Chaitanya Kreeda is very close to my heart and it's the first and only club I joined in CBIT. Why did I join Chaitanya Kreeda? IDK maybe my love for sports. But today is not about me and it's about me. It's about the person who leads and manages the Kreeda (Drumrolls) , the president of Kreeda herself. So, my friends, let me introduce you to the one and Only Sneha Bhandhavi, whom I also call Akka with all due respect and Love. I had this chance to interview her and let's all get to know about her.

I've asked Sneha Akka some questions and it goes like this;

What made you join sports in CBIT and how did you get into Kreeda?

Sneha: Ever since I was kid, I've been into sports. Back then in school I used to play anything and everything. After joining CBIT I tried my hand during the induction program sports selections and got into the college throwball team in the very first year itself. So I played various inter college tournaments representing CBIT for throwball. In 3rd year, there was a call for core committee recruitments of the sports club, Chaitanya Kreeda and I thought why not give it a try. Luckily I was successful in getting into the club as a Joint Secretary.

Did you play any sports before Joining Kreeda ?

Sneha: Yes, I joined the women’s throwball team in the very early days of my 1st semester. I had an opportunity to represent college at various tournaments and was successful in winning a few of them.

What made Kreeda different from Other college sports facilities and everything?

Sneha: I feel Chaitanya Kreeda is more than just a club. It’s more like a sports community in the college. Chaitanya Kreeda works with all the players, athletes and helps them get better in their respective sport in terms of practice, health and fitness.

What was your first post in Kreeda and how did it feel when you made it as president, not any but the first female president in the campus history?

Sneha: Back then, right after first covid unlock, there were recuitments opening up for the Core Committee. I’m someone who loves to be part of clubs and work with people. My love towards sports made me give a try. So I applied and went for the interview. And I became then Joint Secretary of the club. The then core committee was successful in conducting various events in college and all of us worked hard to make it successful. The next academic year I applied for the president position of the club and my seniors believed in me and made me the next president of the club. From being a normal 1sy year girl who’s interested in sports to becoming the first female president of the club, I felt so surreal and it was an amazing journey. The person I’ve become today and all that I’ve learnt in my journey, all the people I got to meet and work with, all the memories I made, I’ll cherish them for the rest of my life and I’m grateful for the opportunity that’s given to me.

How is the sports scene in Cbit ?

Sneha: CBIT is known for its sports teams. We’ve some amazing talent representing college in various disciplines at many levels. We’ve been successful in representing college in inter College and inter University tournaments. We’ve athletes representing at national and international level as well and we can’t be any more proud of their talent and their achievements.

What is your role as the president in Kreeda?

Sneha: As a president, I had to take care of all the concerns of the club, of each and every event, each and every person concerned to the club. I be the face of the whole sports community in the college and represent everyone on the pedestal.

What is Shruthi and explain about Shruthi?

Sneha: Shruthi is the Annual cultural and sports fest of CBIT. As part of this fest, we conduct an inter branch annual sports meet for both students and staff. We’ve a month-long schedule consisting of various field and track events for both men and women. We’ll have around 100 people including the core committee, organising committee, and staff from the physical education department working relentlessly all through the month to make the sports fest successful.

Under your presidency did they win any cups or tournaments ?

Sneha: Since covid hit, we haven’t been able to attend any tournaments and play. But luckily we had few inter college tournaments that happened in the last few months of the academic year 2022-23. We were successful in bagging top positions in those tournaments. Our men’s cricket team was successful in winning all the 4 tournaments they played in the last academic year and made us all proud.

How did you feel on the last day as the president?

Sneha: Honestly, I was happy, sad, emotional, overwhelmed and everything that I could possibly feel. From being a normal girl who joined the sports team out of interest and passion to being the first female president of the club, it has been nothing short of a roller coaster ride. My last day as the president, I spoke to almost everyone that I had worked with. All that they had to tell about me and the time they worked with me had left me in tears. I’m grateful to each and everyone who made this whole journey so special and memorable.

What message do you wanna give to your juniors?

Sneha: Well, I just wanna say keep doing what you love. I’m sure it’s not easy getting through and achieving something and keeping up with it, but trust me it’ll all be worth it. If whatever you are doing is not giving you joy, happiness and if going wrong with it isn’t scaring you, then you are not doing things right. Maybe you should try a different approach. And lastly I just wanna end by saying, I’m proud of everyone that I had worked with, all that we were successful in doing and I’m indebted to them for all the love and affection they have for me.

This was the interview I had with our president and I will catch up with another one very soon.....

"}]
Aug 15 - A day which doesn't need any introduction. Every one really waits for this day not because it's a special day for country but only because it's a holiday. Every Indian really becomes so patriotic for this single day in the whole year. Each individual's respect and love for his country is expressed only on this day.
We all know that India, largest democratic country and a developing nation. But I'm still waiting for a day that textbooks start printing India - A developed nation. Some times a doubt raises in my head whether my grand child would also study that India is a developing nation in their primary education. I wanna discuss my view here why India is still a developing nation but not a developed nation.

Let's assume that:
Train - India
Track - Constitution
Engine - Officers and Employees
Engine/Train Driver - Leaders
Passengers - Indian Citizens

1. Constitution- Track :
We all know that the Constitution of India is the supreme law of India which lays down the framework defining fundamental political principles, establishes the structure, procedures, powers and duties of institutions and sets out rights, principles and the duties of citizens.

But the fact is that it's made in 1950 according to the scenarios of undeveloped India and most of laws were drafted from other countries . Really many changes are needed to made according to this current India.

What if we use run a Bullet train (India) on track used for Rajadhani Express(Constitution) !

2. Officers and Employees-Engine:
We all know how employees and officers are selected here. Reserved are selected than Deserved. Guy with 45% is preferred over guy with 65% . It's not bad that they are given chances but they should be given works really they deserve and deserved people shouldn't be ignored .
For eg : A scored 65% and B scored 45% in a test for teacher post.
A would be apt but B is preferred only because he has reservation.
Seems unfair right.

What if a bullet train isnt fitted with advanced version engine but with a engine that's not suitable. It cant run the train effeciently right!

3. Leaders-Engine/Train Driver :
Our safe journey(progress) is mainly in the hands of the engine driver(leaders). The faster and safer we reach destination depends on him. He must be efficient and strong to face every consequence to lead a country . He should not be biased and stay trueful , honest to his post by striving to a developed nation.

What if a bullet train is driven by a guy who doesn't know how to drive a train at all!

4. Citizens-Passengers :
The main purpose of the train is to provide services. But it depends on the passengers(citizens) to stay responsible in maintaining the train well(prosperity of nation). The well the passengers use train with responsibility , the long the train provides the services.

What if the passengers don't know how to use services of train carelessly being irresponsible!

This five-year period, from 2017-2022, gives us an unique opportunity of 'Sankalp' to 'Siddhi' towards a new India. Hence, August 15, 2017 be celebrated as the 'Sankalp Parva' or the Day of Resolve, and in 2022 our nation will transform that resolve into 'Siddhi' or attainment.

Coming together is a beginning; keeping together is progress; working together is success.Let us come together and resolve: Dirt-Quit India; Poverty-Quit India; Corruption-Quit India; Terrorism- Quit India; Casteism-Quit India; Communalism-Quit India!

Progress is impossible without change, and those who cannot change their minds cannot change anything!
-Jai Hindh!🇮🇳

"}]
The universe's oldest question- "how do we crack an interview?"

The answer as cliché as it sounds is just majorly three things- confidence, communication, and research.

This is the advice that our GDSC lead was given by his interviewer at Google.

Assuming you've been shortlisted for the role and are waiting for your interview, these are a couple of steps that will ensure you give getting selected the best chance:

You start off with understanding what the role is about.

A Google Developer Student Club Lead is a passionate leader dedicated to empowering their peers to learn and connect. The lead is an individual that has the capability to lead and inspire whilst having good foundational knowledge of software development concepts.

Analyze your competition.

Based on how big the club is in your college, analyze what your competition has that you don't. Analyze what you can capitalize on and most importantly analyze what sets you apart from the rest.

Talk to people that have been in the role.

Conversations go a long way. The tips that you get and the advice that you receive from previous GDSC leads make a world of a difference. Your contribution, qualities, and work talk for themselves but this conversation might just get you a referral to boost your chances.

Now that you're ready with everything, the time has come-

D Day- confidence, and communication are key

Schedule your interview on the day that you feel the most at ease. I'm going to be brutally honest, interviews are always just as scary but your mental state plays a huge role.

Always be on time for an interview, first impressions are the best.

Be prepared to talk about your why, your experience, your college, your interests, and your skills ( technical and non-technical included )

An important aspect of any interview is also what you can bring to the table.

Get creative with your answers, and be confident and honest.

In the end, the potential and the zeal to learn is what everyone looks for no matter what you apply for and how you answer the questions. Go all out and stay true to yourself.

India is a wonderful continent known for many things. Not only do thousands of cultures exist in India, but more than 900 languages and dialects have been developed. One of India's most famous landmarks, however, is its food.

Although cuisines vary from city to city and from region to region, many dishes have gained greater popularity than others.

To help you navigate the popular Indian food varieties, we have compiled a list of 10 traditional foods that you should try to eat in India.

Butter Chicken:

One of the most popular Indian meals is butter chicken, also known as Makhan Murg in Hindi.Makhan, in Hindi, stands for Butter, and Murg means chicken, which literally means butter chicken. Originally from the Indian region north of Punjab, buttermilk has a well-cooked chicken mixed with tomato curry sauce, leading to a famous curry that has gained worldwide fame.

Butter chicken began to be accidentally introduced at the Moti Mahal restaurant in New Delhi where the remaining chicken pieces were mixed with the remaining sauce. This dish is enjoyed with naan, roti or rice.

Dal Tadka:

Dal Tadka is also a popular Indian dish not only gaining local fame but also international fame. Dal Tadka was originally made from hot coals to give off a hint of smoke but has since become one of the easiest foods in the world.

Making Dal Tadka is a simple process that involves burning a lens or dal, and then seasoning it with traditional Indian spices such as cumin, garlic, and ghee. Dal Tadka goes easily with spices, enough to give it a good taste, but it is not enough to make it intolerable.

Chat:

Next on the list of the best Indian foods is a comprehensive section of street food known as chaat. Chaat in India is usually sold from the temporary stairs on the sidewalks and is a popular dinner or dinner for all types of people from children to office workers to adults.

Among the most popular types of conversations are Bel Puri, Pani Puri, and Samosa Chaat. Although negotiations may be much easier to change based on the region you may be visiting, the food mentioned above is common and can be found almost anywhere you go in India.

Tandoori Chicken:

Tandoori chicken is another North Indian dish that dates back to 3000 BC. Tandoori Chicken gets its name from a cooking vessel known as Tandoor Oven. It is a cylinder-shaped oven made of burning wood or charcoal. Tandoor Oven is made of clay or metal and gives a different flavor to the food cooked inside it.

Tandoori chicken contains chicken for a few days soaked in yogurt and tandoori masala, a mixture of traditional Indian spices. After this, the chicken is cooked.

Masala Chai:

Next up is not the food, but rather the type of tea. One of the most basic and common ingredients of Indian food is Masala Chai. Masala Chai differs from traditional British or American tea that many people are familiar with. Masala Chai begins with fresh tea leaves found in the tea plantations of Assam or West Bengal.

The black tea leaves are then soaked in hot water and mixed with crushed ginger and cardamom seeds to give it a delicious spark. After the brewing process, milk is added and given hot and fresh.

Pani Puri:

Pani puri, or golgappa, is thought to have originated in the northern region of Bihar. Pani puri is a street dish, deep-fried balls made of semolina or wheat.

They are served with spicy potatoes, peas and bitter tamarind water. Eating Pani puri is self-indulgent, as traditionally you open a deep-fried shell with a spoon before filling it with a delicious consistency.

Most Indians eat each Pani puri with one quick bite, to save any spilled filling from a soft case. This popular street food covers a wide range of countries - everyone from local college students to urban entrepreneurs can be found devouring them.
"}]
Have you ever thought about why there is a space for internships in the application form for a particular job? Or why is there a club or a cell in the college for internships? Are they that important we have to spend our ever-so-important time completing them instead of binging over something? Well, let me tell you something there is this one classmate of mine who had done an internship with an up-and-coming company as a content writer. Everyone asked this person what she had earned. And she answered like this “earned so much that dissipated into thin air after a week of frugal expenditure”. When asked whether it was worth it, she said yes.

To our understanding internship is a part-time job related to what we are studying. Where you more earn less. But why are these given such importance just what we get that changes the aura of our resume? For us to know about its importance we need to clear our misconceptions about it first.

Well first and foremost we should know internships are not part-time jobs: yes we earn some pocket money. But, no. It is more of a place to earn experience. An experience which gives us a unique standpoint among our peers.

The treatment of interns is not as bad as shown in movies and dramas, like bringing coffee and carrying documents. Many companies provide many perks and amenities even to the interns.

Not every good internship has to be a paid one, there are many internships out there that pay less and some don’t but provide the interns with a solid and over-the-top work experience. One of my seniors shared his experience in an internship, which was not paid, there he worked under a person for that person’s PhD research. There he learned how to program in assembly language, which to my confusion never occurred that it was possible in my whole three years of CSE. And he learned it from the ground up.

An internship at a big company is not always useful, but one from a small company is more useful as we come to know the actual work and job responsibilities.

Some say that they can just buy out the experience letter for an internship. Man who are they trying to fool the interviewers are not idiots in finding out who done what.

So internships are not something one does for money they do it for experience, to build an ability to form connections and to learn the work environment under the guidance of professionals. It is not something for the students to add a few lines to their resumes but a bridge that helps them in their job hunting.

Tell us what's the most terrify thing that always come to your mind about internships!
"}]
Little Flower Degree College is one of the renowned colleges in which I did my BSC. It was a huge campus adjacent to the main road leading to Uppal ring road, more like among three roads forming a triangle on google maps. I enjoyed my time there which was obviously not the case for some of my friends who were in Tarnaka then.

The campus provides many facilities and a good environment. More so for the Degree college, is actually one of the best degree colleges in our state, which has all the things you expect from a well-established institution but the students have to wear a uniform.

What was there to enjoy? That’s the question you may get. Well, the study there is good and more than what you expect from an intermediate college. But the thing was most of the time I was outside than inside hanging out with friends. Let me tell you there is only one gate to enter the campus and they are strict, but we still did our thing.

This campus is situated beside one of Hyderabad's busiest roads, and there is even a metro line on this road. From here you can go to Uppal, Nagole, L B Nagar, Hubsiguda, Tarnaka and so on. And metro just makes the journey smooth sailing.

There are so many restaurants near the campus, mainly Pista house, a nice place to go with friends. How can we forget the stadium, If you are a cricket fan that’s the first thing you root for. Well, I am not that’s why it’s last. Well, here we can watch matches when they are held I guess?

You may think why I am saying these things for talking about college. Well, me, you and everyone know what we expect from a college, right? We what it to be in the centre of both studies and fun, isn’t it?

"}]
