This is the story of a Full stack developer who graduated from TKR Engineering College. You must be wondering what is so special about him. He’s not anything different from us. He is just a better analyser and a Hardworker.

We take an absolute privilege to present Sai Krishna Alishala a dynamic developer and freelancer. Sai Krishna started as a Freelancer and is currently working his rein in the Flutter Development. He has worked with several companies and also taken up several client projects.

Sai Krishna is currently working in the Health Care sector and working on building his startup in the Healthcare field itself.

Journey from a Student to a Developer

Like any other student Sai Krishna Alishala was a gullible and fun to go student who would actively participate in various competitions and attended a lot of fests. “ I was a kid who used to attend events and sports” is what he mentioned.

TKR is one such college that has a lot of fests and events throughout the year and Krishna used to participate in them a lot. Bunking classes and catching up with friends roaming around is something every college student does and that's exactly what the college like of Krishna revolved too.

Later, he started to invest himself in doing and learning technologies that interested him. He started off his journey by doing a course on web development and gradually started to explore more on the full stack development.

Krishna is now working on National Projects and also freelancing with various clients at the same time. Krishna stated “ Compared to my past, my life is much smoother now. From doing timepass to understanding how important time, how every minute is important”

Not only focusing on his development. He also ensures to spread his knowledge and guide others while sharing his experiences. Letting others know about the challenges he faced and guiding them in the right path.

Advice for current student to be success in their careers

One of the main advice that anyone would ask you to follow is to connect with people, share your ideas and that's also something Sai Krishna would advise the current students.

Building your career and your skills in various Techstacks is also something that is important in his opinion. One of the main pieces of advice that he gives out is to not just follow and run around internships to gain experience. But also build your own personal projects and logical implementation and logical understanding.
"}]
I am one of the believers that “our soul lies where our passion lies”. I don’t know how much of it is accurate, but there’s no way I can refute it. Why do you ask? Because it’s my belief. It’s unlikely for everyone to follow their passion. Everyone has their issues and situations that tie them up. But it is always a bittersweet moment to see someone follow their passion, for those who didn’t—a yearning for what is now a distant past.

Here we are to know about one of my friends who followed his passion. His good name is Anisetti Chaitanya Eshwar Prasad from Hyderabad. The CEO and founder of Chaitanya Cyber Strix Technologies. Let’s know about him from his own words.

If you don’t mind me taking a few liberties can you tell us and the audience about yourself?

“Hello! I am Chaitanya Eshwar Prasad from Hyderabad, Telangana, India. I love my profession and at work, I am expressive, innovative and capable. I am a self-learner. As I grew up with computers, I developed a deep interest in the fields of Information Technology and networks and I spent a lot of time searching for answers to the unknown and making way to get evolve myself as a:

Security Operation Center Analyst (SOC Analyst), Certified Ethical Hacker v11 (CEH), Computer Hacking Forensic Investigator v9 (CHFI), Certified Network Security Specialist (CNSS), Web Application Pentester (WAPT), Vulnerability Assessment and Penetration Tester (VAPT), API Pentester, Thick Client Penetration Tester, Network Pentester, Mobile Pentester, Cloud Security, Automotive Security, Opensource Intelligence, Python Programmer for EH, Pencil Sketch Artist, Graphic Designer, Digital Marketer.

Coming to my college I am in my third year in B-com general at Sai-Sudhir Degree and PG College. How did you develop your passion for Cyber security/ becoming an ethical hacker?

“So, in my seventh class, I started developing my passion for cybersecurity. I used to like the technical stuff and gadgets from childhood. I used to open up the CPU and mess with the components and my dad had to send them repairs. One day when seeing the repairman assembling the CPU, I thought, why I can’t do that? That’s where it started. I started messing with the computers and fixing them. This continued and was fun for me. Later on, I started doing some tricks on android phones like rooting. In eighth class, I did Facebook phishing because of a crush and all my friends started pumping my gas, that I am a hacker and whatnot. It was fun and I started learning without knowing the names because it was fun. I didn’t even start from the foundation just went with the flow, seeing youtube and reading blogs that’s how it started.”

Your degree and your work are different, totally, how do you manage them?

“My degree is non-technical, but my passion is technical. My degree didn’t even matter to me, it was for the sake of doing it—that’s it. There was an assumption that dullers shouldn’t take maths in intermediate and I was scared to even consider taking maths because of the college I chose. When I asked for B-tech for my degree, they asked me for maths, so I chose commerce. Because it was easy and I can skip classes that’s why I have chosen it. But later on, I developed an interest in it and knowing how the business starts and everything I became more interested. And also developing skills related to my passion.”

How did you develop the idea of starting your own company?

“My company now is not my first, but second in actuality. For the first one, I didn’t follow any procedure or plan which failed. So for my second attempt, I followed with the book and being a commerce student I helped in the process. And collaborating has helped me very much because I came to people who are now working with me. Like Lohith Reddy, who is much younger than me but talented, and my good friend Sai who has taken a huge load of manager affairs from my shoulders, even when he was busy with the company which he will become the head of in the future. It is fun being with everyone and working to build something. And it was not easy we had many issues, but when we got the response and payoffs we felt somewhat proud of what we did. It's amazing and I can say that I didn’t regret choosing this path.”

When you can get a good package based on your skills, why did you choose the path of starting your own company?

“Well, I got really good offers but I still choose to follow my passion. Many said that it was risky but still did. Because I think that working under someone inhibits our opportunities to improve the skills of our passion. I wanted to have that freedom to take my decisions and coming from a commerce background and an uncle who is the CEO of a construction company I was confident that I can do it. But my first try was not a success but now I want to make it possible in this attempt.”

Well, I am proud of my friend and I believe that ‘it’s still not late to kindle our passion when we are not regretting the past or fearing the future.’ So let's do that just like my friend and follow our passion whether it be regret or something else, let’s leave it for the future and take a step towards it wholeheartedly.
"}]

Dussehra festival has a special meaning and different reasons for different people to celebrate. In some parts of India, people celebrate Dussehra for the victory of Lord Rama, one of the avatars of Lord Vishnu, over the ten-headed demon king Ravana of Lanka, who kidnapped Rama’s wife Sita. And some others celebrate the victory of Goddess Durga Maa over the demon Mahishasura.
The various ways in which the Dussehra festival is being celebrated all over India like Dussehra is celebrated as Navratri as a festival of 9 days in Gujarat State. You’ve probably heard that reading is good, but what about it is so special?

Whether we're talking about reading fiction or non-fiction- Why should you take the time to read?

Are these questions you keep asking yourself, well you're at the right place now.

1. READING HELPS WITH EMPATHY

Empathy is an important character trait people can develop. It helps us relate to other people and encourages us to be kind and considerate of other people’s feelings.

As it turns out, reading can help improve empathy.

When you read stories about other people’s lives, it helps you understand the world from another person’s perspective.

This is a key element in being empathetic toward others.

2. READING REDUCES STRESS AND HELPS YOU RELAX

Just letting yourself get lost in a good book is the greatest escape in the world. Scientifically reading releases dopamine that gives you a sense of satisfaction and accomplishment. it gives you a sense of ease.

Reading can help lower stress levels. Not only that, but it can also help you sleep better at night.

3. READING STRENGTHENS THE BRAIN

Storylines in books often pose a problem or issue that leads to a solution. Identifying and sorting through these details and determining the outcome develops analytical skills in the process.

When you read something it ignites your neural pathways. That means new synapses are being created, and old ones are being strengthened. This improves your short-term and long-term memory functions.

4. READING INCREASES CREATIVITY

Reading sparks imagination and creativity, being immersed in a new world and characters. This will nurture your brain to develop ideas, possibilities, and understanding, and be more open to hearing the opinions of others. With so many genres of writing available, there’s something out there for everyone’s tastes- since the reader can use his or her imagination to develop the words into his or her mental images as opposed to being confined, this stimulates one's imagination

5. READING GROWS YOUR VOCABULARY

Last but definitely not the least- If you want to have an impressive vocabulary and become an amazing orator, pick up a book.

It’s much easier to learn vocabulary from a book than from memorizing words in the dictionary. That’s because you’re learning the words contextually. The words make sense within the context of what you’re reading so it makes it easier to remember later.

"}]
How to think in questions, not answers

A story of the moonshots project team at X

There is an anonymous team known as "Moonshots" trying to reach out to X says, to open our minds to what the future could be, we ask the outsiders “what ifs” all around X.

This is particularly important in the earliest stages, where the 100+ ideas they investigate every year have a <5% chance of seeing their 1-year or 2-year birthdays. But no matter what part of X they visit, we’ll see them following a trail of questions, hypotheses, and experiments, learning by iteration where a 10x better approach might be hiding — as it’s never obvious.

Some of their latest what-ifs?

1. What if you could read a plant like a book?

2. What if your pants could help you climb up the stairs?

3. What if all our plastic could be turned into anything we want?

4. What if understanding fish behaviour could make our seas healthier?

5. What if we could grow a building from a seed?

6. What if a swimming pool could power the entire planet?

What if these questions weren't just questions?

There’s no way of knowing how these ideas are going to turn out in the long run. But they fuel their optimism that leads to solutions to the world’s most unmanageable problems that are always within the reach of human imagination.

We may have recognized a few things, like the computational agriculture project: Mineral, the ocean health project: Tidal, or the mobility project: Smartypants. As for the more mysterious questions, they do refer to current X investigations and they hope to tell more about them as

"life at a moonshot factory involves far more questions than answers".

But living like this isn’t easy. Their brains crave certainty and clarity, and most professional environments train them better for delivering answers and short-term progress than for exploring huge questions and winding, risky roads. To find truly breakthrough ideas, they have to train themselves to break out of mental ruts and well-worn paths.

Here are a few of the helpful tricks X has found over the years to achieve this.

Try “question bursts”. Hal Gregersen, at MIT’s Sloan School of Management, has written the book on why brainstorming questions — rather than answers — works better for shifting perspective and opening up new possibilities.

We can learn how to do this by reading his excellent work and using his Question Burst Toolkit in our work or in life.

Host “bad idea brainstorms”. Want to turn down the volume of that little voice inside your head that makes you anxious about saying “silly” or “wrong” things?

Years ago, X’s Rapid Evaluation team, which comes up with new moonshot ideas, started holding “bad idea brainstorms” to help us to get comfortable, letting our nuttiest stuff flow freely. They've just launched an online game to help us do it too — try it and tell them on social media (via @theteamatx)

Prototype it. Meet Kathryn Zealand, head of the Smartypants project, she says it doesn’t matter how janky and duct-tape it is, as long as it helps you learn —everyone can prototype, even while working from home. Kathryn has even brought a prototyping, experimental mindset to her career.

One final point:

Don’t underestimate the power of naivete. In a speech last year, X’s Astro Teller told the Class of 2021, “You have a big advantage: you don’t already know the answers!” I know you’re thinking, “I’ve worked so hard to become an expert!”

But not knowing how things are “supposed to be” can actually be a secret superpower; our curiosity can lead us to questions that cast everything in a new light. So next time we're determined to take ourselves somewhere truly radical, we have to think about using great questions to blast us out of whatever’s preventing us from seeing a world of new possibilities.
"}]
The Puri Jagannath Temple is one of the most ancient and famous temples in India. Most importantly the Puri jagannath temple is known for its Chariot Festival that is celebrated every year. Thousands and Lakhs of devotees across the world visit this event. The Chariot is built every single year whereas the design, Size and materials used remain the same. The puri Jagannath temple is dedicated to three gods. Lord Jagannath, Lord Balaram and his sister Subhadra.

The temple has a magnificent structure and a well defined architecture. The temple construction was initiated by the King Chodagangadeva and was completed in the era of his Grandson Anangabhimadeva. The temple is not only a marvellous structure it also has certain architectural and science-defying mysteries that could not be proven till date of why they happen.

Let's find out about a few of the mysteries that are unsolved today.

1.Up Against Nature

Everyone knows and we see it in our lives very often that any piece of cloth flies with the direction of wind. But this place goes against these principles. The flag on the top of Puri temple always flies in the direction opposite to wind. And till date it cannot be proven why that happens.

2.Clear skies at all times

We can see flocks of birds or at least a few birds in the air at some point of the day. At Least one bird will fly across the sky. Puri temple has the clearest skies of all time. Not a single bird or aeroplane fly across this region. But we can see birds in the nearby regions except for the temple region. The reason for this is again unknown.

3.Man touches the sky

It is a tradition that is being followed since ages. Everyday a priest climbs up the walls of the temple that is almost the height of a 45 storied building to change the flag on the temple top. And the most surprising fact is anyone that goes up to change the flag goes with bare hands and no protective gear.

4. Pin Drop silence

The temple is situated alongside the sea. You can hear the gushing sounds of the clean, crisp and clear sea waves near the temple. But the moment you enter the temple premises it's as if the sea waves go on mute. Again the moment you step outside you can hear the sea waves again. The science behind this is still unknown.

5.Cookbook of magic

Devotees like the prashad that is served in this place very much. And guess what, it's cooked in a very unique style. 7 pots are placed on top of each other. According to what we generally know. The pot that is in the bottom will get cooked first. This cooking defies this law. The pot on the top gets cooked first, then the second pot and so on. And no one knows how that is even possible.

All these mysteries build a curiosity to visit this temple in me. What are your thoughts? Share them in the comments below and let us know your call on what the reasons could be.
"}]

A new day and a new beginning…We come to face new challenges every day and learn new things. And here is the new challenge for the students of MRCET.

On 26th Sept 2022, a product-based Company “TEKsystems” which is headquartered in Hanover, US and has its branches in Bangalore and Hyderabad in India, visited MRCET for conducting a physical drive in one day on 26th which had conducted its first round on 24th of Sept. This company has more than 100 locations throughout North America, Europe and Asia. This organization develops partnerships with top companies across all industries and deep relationships with IT consultants around the globe. It looks for an Innovative, Problem solving, Adaptive, dedicated team player in its employees. It focuses more on the coding skills and conceptual knowledge of freshers. This company offered variable pay from 4.5-9 LPA depending on the performance of candidates.

The whole hiring process consists of 5 rounds

1. Online Test

2. Group Discussion

3. Managerial Round

4. Technical Interview

5. HR Interview

Round1:
The first round is an online test which consists of the following sections: all are MCQs(Except the coding section) conducted online.

a. General Aptitude

b. Data Interpretation

c. Logical Reasoning

d. Verbal Reasoning

e. Company Specific questions

f. Coding Section.

Tip 1- Practise Aptitude, reasoning and basic coding. Also, look for previous year's question models and be prepared.

300+ students from CSE and IT departments appeared for the test and out of them only 118 cleared the first round and attended the physical drive.

Round 2:
A fresh challenge for all the students is the group discussion round which is conducted offline in 8 panels with a group of 10 members and an HR person in each panel. Each group is given a topic such as “Impact of Covid-19 pandemic on education system” or “Hard work vs smart work”. This round is a nail-biting moment for people who have a phobia of speaking in front of a group.

Tip 2- They want the person who grabs the opportunity in a discussion and directs the flow of the discussion as per himself/herself. In a nutshell, if anyone shows a little dominating character in the discussion, then he/she will make it to the next round. Speaking loud and clear along with some arm gestures supporting your words will do the job.
However, 53 are shortlisted here and are sent to the next round.

Round 3:
It is a technical interview which is majorly Resume based and some questions asked here are:

1. Tell me about yourself

2. Projects you have done and their implementation.

3. MySQL queries which involve nested and subqueries.

4. Basic concepts of C, Java and python.

5. Basic programs like swapping 2 numbers, printing prime numbers, Fibonacci series, string manipulation and on arrays.

6. Html, Java Script, Linux Commands

7. Questions on prior knowledge of Cloud computing and AI

8. Skills mentioned in the resume and questions on key concepts of that particular technology.

Tip 3- Prepare thoroughly all the concepts of programming languages which are known to you and NEVER mention false information or additional skills or works which you have not known or done in your resume because that will fail you in this type of interview.
Here out of 53, only 24 cleared this interview round.

Round 4:
It is a managerial round which is an elimination round and where questions asked are:

1. Problems with Coding

2. Depth concepts of java like threads and collections

3. Aptitude, Reasoning

4. Logical questions

5. Questions on Personality traits

Tip 4- We can't expect the questions asked here, only our previous knowledge and managerial thinking will work. Our task is to simply be confident and be open in saying “I don't know” if you are unable to answer.
Out of 24, only 17 students made it to the final round.

Round 5:
In the HR round the interviewer will explain the company bond and license agreement etc. This is not an elimination round and they will ask some questions based on

1. Our knowledge about the company

2. Strengths and weaknesses

3. Short-term and long-term goals

4. About our family

5. Any questions for us?

Tip 5- Be prepared for the general HR questions and always be ready with some questions to ask at the end. It could be a deciding factor for your selection and NEVER ask “what is the job profile that this company offers ?" That question is supposed to be asked during the Pre-Placement Talk.

By the end of the day finally, all the 17 final selects from CSE and the IT department are offered with 6 LPA.

Here is a photograph of the TEKsystems team taken with the final selects.

Final Tip: As we learn from our experiences, we should not feel disappointed in losing an opportunity. We have to work hard by putting in all our efforts and improving ourselves. Most importantly one should “NEVER GIVE UP”

"}]
