The Townhall event is normally a meeting in which renowned officials address the crowd and also interact with them just so to clarify their doubts, answer their questions and analyse their opinions. A Townhall meet is usually conducted in business meetings and political gatherings but the team of StuMagz brought this event up into colleges as well. I'm not perfect, and i don't live to be.But before you judge me make sure your hands are
clean. There was a saying "Don't judge a book by it's cover" which means that we can't
simply judge people only by their appearances. We live in a society where we see people
appearances.we see someone's brand of clothes, way they style their hair etc. and by
observing those things we think we can learn so much about that person. But this is not
always true.Everyone has their own capabilities just we have to give them opportunity to
do.

For example,in a company an employer wants to recruit an employee and hundreds of
people apply, the interviewer will gives the first priority to the good looking person
instead of their talents, but even the person that does not look good may also have
capability to do.So this is what the scenario happens in the society today. We just trust
the people only by their looks.I agree even the looks also play a crucial role.
"Everybody is genius. But if you judge a fish by its ability to climb a tree,it will live
its whole life believing that it is stupid."This means it is inappropriate to judge an
animal by focusing on a skill which the creature does not possess. A fish is specialized
to swim perfectly, and its ability to climb a tree is non-existent.
Kelly Rowland once said"Judge me if you want to.And as a matter of fact,it won't
even count, because the only person who can judge is God".Just because the cover of a
book is beautiful or attractive,it doesn't mean that the content inside will be having
more value. An ordinary looking book may contain valuable information. To realize that, one
has to read the book completely.Similarly, one has to interact with a person before deciding
on his capabilities,character and talent.

"If you judge a book by it's cover, you might miss an amazing story."
"}]
It's fine if you forget, it's fine if you can't feel it

I've patched up the scrapes in my heart

It's okay if I'm hurt, because I no longer feel the pain

Even if you drag my feet apart

"Kindness that cannot hurt is more important than the strength of being unhurt,"

The voice that says that seems sad somehow

It told me to follow these scars

Before I'd be crushed by the weight of the world

I found it, the teary voice!

There's no mistake, it's my own!

I'm sure that from the beginning, you knew

I was the only one who wouldn't leave you

I made you realize, this is a sign for you

What makes us human?

A bunch of elements and molecules, the capacity to feel and perceive, to experience, to love?

Humans are sentient beings. They can think and process and hence, have the ability to do amazing things. All amazing things, I learned, begins with a dream. All dreams, I realized, begins with inspiration.

What is inspiration?

Honesty is the way that pave you to the path where you can combine all the required things such as integrity, ethics, morals, respect, gratitude, etc.

I often sit and think back to how life was when I was growing up. In a kind of nostalgic way my mind drifts into the past where notifications were not a part of my life. Where people wrote letters to one another, where every single conversation mattered, and where my home phone was the only way to truly contact me. My mind drifts back in the 2000’s, and think about how gradually the need to be contacted overshadowed my life. So much so, that the only time my phone is ever switched off is when battery dies.SHOCKING! When I came to this realisation. I paused, and considered if my privacy even existed. Or my time really belonged to me when anyone can invade my space at any time they choose or to call or to text me. And then I got so tired of being everything to all people at any time, and I switched my phone off. This wasn’t great at first because it wasn’t comfortable. Change is often uncomfortable, especially when you realize that you cannot use your apps just because you’re avoiding being disturbed. It was then I discovered “Airplane Mode” My life changed! I set boundaries. People soon knew that they cannot call or text me after 9 pm because I’ll be in air. It meant so much for me and the great thing was I could still use my phone as I chose to…

1.I choose when to respond

2.I am the CEO of my time

3.I protect my peace

4.I am not distracted from quality time with family

5.I didn’t feel my phone was a huge part of my life againWell, while I couldn’t exactly emulate my past nostalgia, I did learn about a few things about phone. We make them so much more valuable than we need to. We are less productive the more we are on them. We cannot give people our undivided attention when our relationship with our inbox is more of a time investment than the important people in our lives. I learned the art of control, and my original discomfort turned into power. Knowing fully well that I own my phone and that it doesn’t owe me changed the way that I communicated with everyone. My phone turned into a phone not a lifeline, I became more focused on what is most important, and I didn’t care for the red notification bubbles and instant nature of communication as I did earlier. I became a 6 to 9 person in my private life and this means that I no longer overcommit, over work and over stress about responding. Those who matter will wait, those who don’t want to wait do not value your time. The final point on Airplane mode is…… your battery charges faster 😊 when it’s activated 😜. Gotha love it.
"}]
