BLACK HOLES as they are known is a strange place in the universe where things fail out to behave the way they should. It's a place where every single law of physics fails right from gravity to the speed of light. It is that small place in the universe where the gravity is so mad and strange that nothing can escape its pull, not even light. It is somewhere where infinite gravity can be experienced. And this property of absorbing light is the reason for its name BLACK HOLES, because of the absence of light, they are not visible.

HOW ARE THESE GAINT MONSTERS FORMED??

They are mostly an outcome of a dying star. Every star in the universe has it's own nuclear engine i.e there are some nuclear reactions occuring in its core. A star has two forces one is due to nuclear reactions pushing energy outside and other is gravity pulling in out of which the nuclear power wins. But when the nuclear fuel dies out, gravity gets upper hand and the star collapses. Its total mass is collapsed and enormous energy is created during the process which explodes as a SUPERNOVA. And it releases a tremendous amount of energy, is something which the sun would emit in its entire lifetime. And this emission is called "GAMMA RAYS ". These rays are so powerful that they can fry anything in its way.

Bigger the mass of the star, more massive and powerful is the blackhole. The biggest blackhole ever found is the one at the centre of the galaxy, the NGC 1277. It has a mass equal to 17 million suns. Let us take a moment to stop and think about that line. The Sun itself is a massive and heavy object in space and this blackhole is not only massive, its mass is equal to 17 million suns. Just thinking about that makes me feel insignificant.

It is also believed that every galaxy has a black hole at centre. IF PLANETS REVOLVED ROUND THE SUN , WHOM DID THE SUN REVOLVE AROUND???

And the research for this answer proved that there was a black hole at the centre of the milky way.

When a star collapses with a burst, it releases a supernova and alongside most of its mass is compressed in a space of about 20Km in diameter full of neutrons. The mass becomes so dense at the centre that gravity takes over and a black hole is formed. The power of the black hole is such that nothing can escape its pull, NOT SPACE, NOT LIGHT AND NOT EVEN TIME!

EVENT HORIZON: It's the boundary of the black hole beyond which nothing can escape its gravity.

SPAGHETTIFICATION-It is a phenomenon which describes the way objects behave under very strong non-homogeneous gravitational fields. It is the vertical stretching and horizontal compression of objects into long thin shapes.

COULD THE SUN EVER TURN INTO A BLACK HOLE?

Black holes are formed from the death of a massive star. Something like the sun could never turn up being a black hole because the sun is too small in terms of mass and size. Even if it becomes a black hole it would have the same gravity as the earth, and as the earth being far away from the sun, it would not affect any planets motion or would not suck in any planets into it.

AND WHAT A BLACKHOLE CONSTIUTES OF??

NO IDEA!! This is because all the physics laws breakdown at the centre of a black hole.
"}]

HAPPY TEACHER'S DAY!!!

1504605901484
txt"}]
Every year on September 5th we celebrate the birthday of the first vice president and second president of India named S Radhakrishnan. A day which also marks the celebration of our teachers who are responsible for inculcating the fruit of knowledge during our early years.

I, as a student back in high school used to hate mathematics because I always used to fail miserably at it. Soon after tenth grade we are split into three streams and eventually chose bio-math. Screaming with anger, I was forced to do attend math tuition so as to improve my basics as higher classes would be tough. We were given the teachers list on who would teach all the subjects and as our luck we got the best teacher in it. Days passed and it was the first day in high school with groans and sighs the classes passed and then came the period which I loathed. The moment she stepped into the class I knew it was going to be good. I knew there will be a change in my math marks. The teacher who changed my life was none other than Mrs Mini S Nair. Her classes gave me sheer excitement and made me want to study more. Thus, further resulted in good marks falling on my answer sheet. She used to barge into our class saying 'the next question is'. She is someone that is so pure at heart and she was like our second mother, she always wanted the best for us. The greatest soul and the greatest teacher. We were lucky enough to have her for two years. As twelfth grade came she became more close with us, her period was like some sort of celebration for us. The whole class would turn enthusiastic and there was not a moment that was not meant to be cherished. As being into the final year of schooling we decided to give her a surprise on her birthday and she was so shocked that she shed a tear. We loved her more than anything in the world. Nobody wanted to go for physical training as we would confront her to take that period too because nothing was more fun that math. When we graduated the first thing out of my mouth was 'she came in like a jet and taught us planes'. We bid our final goodbyes in sadness but thanks to social media we still stay connected.

The teachers are the greatest people, they're the reason who we are now. How we can relate things, they teach us and tell us on how each and everything are inter-connected to each other. A teachers love is the most purest and one of a kind. Together let us celebrate the presence of teachers by showing them what they mean to us.
"}]

"HAPPY TEACHER'S DAY" TO ALL THE TEACHERS IN THE WORLD!.

A teacher is as a second mother. Yes because he guides, motivates and teaches us something to make us reach the floor of success!. He inspires us in all possible ways and never discourages us. Our happiness and success is all what they need. They never expect something from us and they will be the most happiest person in this world when we hit the success. My social teacher use to say "EACH ONE TEACH ONE", my hindi sir taught us a dhohey...

Guru govindh dho khade kaake laagav paai, balihaari guru aapne govindh dhiyo bathai!

This dhohey has a wonderful meaning which describes the value of a teacher i.e; if someone asks me who is great, a teacher or God?. Then my answer will be teacher because, he is the one who told me that God exists!.

And our failures are best teachers, we learn alot from them.

I'm not like the one in people you normally see in the halls. I'm not the one who has the most friends or that is popular. i'm not the one who had a good past.

I'm the one who has learnt to hide away who i really am.

It’s not always easy seeing other people being able to show their true feelings. It’s also not easy seeing a smile on their face, when I don’t even remember the last time I truly smiled.

It’s hard being an outcast. Everyone else who has been here for such a long time seems to be friends and know how it really is around here. I, on the other hand, don’t really know the ways here. But, when I try to do something a different way, or just try to be myself, I get judged by asking myself for many times.

Fitting in is probably the hardest thing for a lot of people to do.Some kids try to do whatever they can do to fit in. Others just look at what the others do, see if they can try it, attempt to fit in, and try and make a friend. Sometimes it works, sometimes it won't.

but am I really that different?

There are many similarities in everyone. But, the differences are what set us apart.

From sharing information during its inception to connecting the world and bringing it closer together, The Internet has, in no short sense, changed the world and how humans live. Our lives are now centred around this technology that lets us share information with each other seamlessly, the nature of the information itself is left up to the user.

Humankind being the mixed bag of surprises that it is has come up with a variety of uses over the years, the nature of which I'll leave up to your imagination, but it has never shied away from sharing information to those in need with only one condition: only for those who actively seek the information they need. Resources for learning, then, seemed like an obvious and natural evolution from this phenomenon.

So for those of us enterprising enough to learn, The Internet was a vast ocean of information for everything you could ever want with only one obstacle: a proper internet connection. For a country that opened its economic doors only 25 years ago, growth was slow, but there was growth nonetheless. Internet connectivity spread across the country and eventually, people began to discover the possibilities of having a connection. So today, on Teachers Day, I used the internet to talk to everyone from close friends to people I had met on the internet about the skills they've picked up over the years using, you guessed it, The Internet.

Chasing Dreams:

"Every time I wanted to learn something, I realised I was ill equipped and did not have the means or the resources to do so," says Sunny Bharadwaj, a developer working for tHub and an old friend, "The Internet, for me, was the answer. It was approachable and you would get answers in seconds."

Sunny would eventually go on to become an exceptionally skilled self-taught guitarist and the occasional music composer, "For me, it started with a promise to my mom that I would become a Rockstar within a week. Needless to say, a month later I was just as confused, maybe even more so, than when I had begun. The Internet, as I found out, does have all the resources one needs to learn, but searching through it to find one that fits you best is like looking through a stuffed closet for that one item you want. You end up finding a lot of other interesting stuff, but it isn't exactly what you were looking for. The trick, then, is to find that prized resource that will help you towards your mastery and connect you to other resources for what you want to learn."

And he's right on the money here, The Internet is a vast and wonderful place filled with amazing little things, from the amazing to the downright terrifying, but wading through all of that and finding what you want takes determination, curiosity and focus, none of which I possess.

Perhaps the most defining factor of learning through The Internet is the fact that it makes you become your own teacher. The Internet, as stated earlier, is information that you can access today on the tips of your fingertips. What you do with this information is your prerogative: either acknowledge the existence of said information or actively teach yourself from it. The old saying involving a reluctant horse being dragged to a body of water comes to mind, although if my high school teachers were to be believed, the original story had a donkey instead, and that all of us were donkeys.

"You can drag a donkey to a pond to drink water," said our teacher back in 2005, "but you can't make it drink the water. That is up to the donkey itself, and I hope the donkeys in this class understand that."

With The Internet bringing the world closer together and, in essence, making the world a smaller place, the rise of people taking an active interest in teaching the skills they have to those seeking them also went up. 18-year old Shikhar Choudhary began his journey with a bit of self-teaching, but he was also helped along the way by a few guitarists in popular local bands around Bhopal, where he is from. Today, Shikhar has been helping another mutual friend of ours, 22-year old Paritosh Pai, in learning how to play the guitar.

But, learning the arts to soothe the soul and the fact that it has made even the most unexpected of people turn into teachers simply through a device with an internet connection and a webcam aside, The Internet is also a resource for learning various other skills, like development, for instance.

Self-taught to professional:

Jeevan Deep Singh, a 20-year old B.Tech student from New Delhi, speaks about his brother's journey in teaching himself Android development, "College syllabus is, frankly speaking, outdated," he says, "My brother taught himself how to develop for Android online and today works in the same field. He's been encouraging me to pick up a skill or two or maybe learn a programming language while I'm still in college through the internet as often as he can." Karan Deep Singh, Jeevan's brother, was unavailable for comment at the time of writing.

Similarly, posing this question on a Facebook group showed the same results, people talking about how using The Internet has allowed them to become better at one skill or another, or to simply gain the knowledge they otherwise wouldn't have. Abhishek Sethi, a 25-year old MBA graduate from New Zealand, said, "This generation, especially the ones born in 1990 and onwards, has learned one thing or another from the internet. It is almost universal."

Accio Knowledge:

While Sethi is correct about this generation having learned at least one thing from The Internet, access to it remains one of the biggest challenges in India. With the advent of services like Reliance Jio and the ever decreasing cost of Internet access, however, this is a problem that is being solved as we speak. Despite the fact, India largely remains a poor country, with its rural areas denied a proper internet connection either due to infrastructural apathy or poor terrain. Access to high-speed internet has proven to be a new age catalyst, making the naturally curious humankind explore things that are usually unavailable due to lack of physical access.

A tool this powerful would naturally be put to good news, encouraging people to explore and learn and teach themselves in a classroom on the information highway, although I'd be lying if I said it'll all be positive. Just take a look at the default YouTube trending section.

Denouement:

Always wanted to use that word. Incidentally, I only came across it in a creative writing course on Coursera. It means the end of a story, play or narrative. In this context, it means that we're drawing to an end of this piece.

Unlike other tools, The Internet is a rapidly evolving and ever changing entity where new information is added every day as humans live their lives and put their knowledge and information online. The way we consume this information has changed at breakneck speed from 25 years ago to today. While forums with written word existed since The Internet broke out of its cocoon and spread its wings, today we have videos, and dedicated websites just for learning. Some skills and crafts have their own dedicated websites, whereas academia and degree courses are available on college websites or places like Coursera. From learning how to code on websites like Code Academy to going on YouTube and learning those complex engineering topics from video lectures, The Internet today is your playground and classroom. The only factor then, is how driven and determined you are to learn.
"Learning anything by yourself means you are taking the role of a teacher and a student together," finishes Sunny Bharadwaj, "It is essential to practice discipline and critical evaluation along with the silly optimism and openness of a child."
"}]

It was June 26 2006, first day of a little girl of eleven in her new school, who was nervously walking along the road leading to school, there she heard a mellifluous voice which said "come walk fast, assembly has already started".

There it was me, and the skinny, gloomy, seemingly pretty lady who cluttered herself with woolens was Mrs.Mahathi, Sr.secondary preceptor (PGT English). At that point of time I never knew that she would aid me in obstacles that came along and would become my favourite. Mrs Mahathi was a pedantic preceptor but still everyone adored her. She was not cognate of the 115 PGT's and TGT's, she was disparate. Her one hour lectures never jaded us , they blew away. Mrs Mahathi was stringent and was also Mrs funny bones apart. Her lectures chuckled us, she made us read "THE HINDU" newspaper in the first 15 mins of the one hour period ,then made us talk over the issues and the latest tidings happening around the world. She made us ostentatious. Mrs.mahathi motivated us in every aspect ,from assembly sessions and CCA activities to the Jamboree events . One thing that still astonishes me till date, why din't she punish us for crossing military area n who were found after a back breaking search of 4 hours , but still she gestured us with love when we returned and questioned "How adventurous it was?" She made us grouch for not submitting the notes on mentioned time ,she was overtly punctual ,but never made us feel the pain . Somewhere in corner of heart we wanted to get transferred , but we loved her as well. Her engrossing listening and speaking skills class made us good oraters of the school .She was a comp for us. There the period of 4 years with her ended in a blink. She received her transfer order when I passed out my +2 , presently she is working as vice principal of kv in Andaman & nicobar region . we don't communicate but still she occupies a space in my heart. I wish everyone a very happy teachers day ..and wanted to convey her that your Natty Stark's have become extroverts . We love you!!!

"}]
The amount of musical talent that Telugu speaking states have is immense, especially among the less-than-25 age group. While platforms like stuMagz have been showcasing them, Encore is a platform dedicated solely to musicians. Started by Nayanesh, Lohit and Prudhvi of Chitraastra, Encore aims to have 100 episodes featuring young, independent, upcoming Telugu musicians.

"We realised there's no platform specifically catering to music and being the son of a musician and having known a lot of musicians, I decided to start this along with my friends. Along the lines of Coke Studio, Encore is a platform where musicians can perform independently to showcase their talent or can even collaborate with other musicians. Their performances will be shot live and will be showcased on our YouTube Channel," explains Nayanesh, adding, "The first episode would be released on Youtube on 7th of September."

Encore aims to have 4 seasons in 2017, with 4 episodes in each and the popular city based band Capricio has collaborated with them on the first season. "Capricio will be featured in the first season, with them performing medleys of popular songs. These were shot at Bottega Fine Foods Cafe and they might also play a role in the second and third seasons," shares Nayanesh. They are now in touch with five other artists for later seasons and are now conducting auditions with them.

txt
rich_1504524157086

The beauty of Encore is that anyone can approach to be a part of it. Interested musicians can just register on their website and they'll then audition and film the music videos. "We don't have any sorts of restrictions, only the skill and talent matters for us. We aim to give every talented Telugu musician a vast visibility and aspire to be THE platform for Telugu talent," says Nayanesh.
"}]
As Shakespeare has said, "All men and women are mere actors".

And yes, in the reality too, we act as if we are at the best of our lives. Because we always wanna see ourselves the best, regardless of what the circumstances are. Some people are blessed, they enjoy this thought for most of their times. But the rest, they focus on faking it rather than making it. For such actions of faking, we lie to the world. Lie, because we do not want ourselves to be looked down at. Because the world is a better place when we are the ones in command and there's no one who can go against us.

Talking about lies, we do not always lie to mark ourselves safe, or to brag. Sometimes, it's merely the attention of a person is what we're looking for. An infant you cries to get your mother back to you so as to assure that all eyes are kept on you. An innocent one, but a lie anyway.

You grow up. You go to school. But not always do you crave for it, do you? More often than not, you seek a reason or two to skip the day at school and for the same, you tend to make excuses to avoid your bus that day. Relatable in every sense, right? Good. Your lying potential is getting better.

Cometh the teenage and there prospers a tender feeling of attachment with someone. Someone who seems to be more important to you than the rest of the world. But you don't tell about them to the world. You keep it to yourself and makeup stories in front of others. Cute, isn't it? Lie anyway.

Time to act mature. Time to get things done by yourself. The "independent phase" of your life is here and you feel strong and determinant enough to cover up all your flaws and weaknesses. But not always do you live by that, do you? For the moments you do not, you lie away.

Congrats. You're half way through in your life and you've been taught enough by the life itself that you tend to boast about it every now and then. Chasing the finer things in your life, you intend to overlook all your insecurities. Not an easy getaway at all and thus you opt for the easier way out, Lie.

It was an amazing journey but the life and your body aren't in the same condition before your old age. You've lost most of your influence from the ones you've had at some point of the time. None is lost actually, till you pretend to the world that everything's alright. You very well know how to do it, right?

"And now my watch has ended." Quite similar to your life too. The last stage of your life where you're on the verge of your death. You lose your teeth, you lose your eyes and not too long till you sink into the oblivion of death. A harsh reality to be accepted but this is what it is. Either you live by it or...

Lies. They live with us, evolve with us and die with us. A food for thought, isn't it?
"}]
