There have been several news reports throughout the years of Indians facing racism in various countries, especially 'white' countries like the United States of America and Australia but what many Indians fail to acknowledge is the racism practiced by Indians, against foreign nationals and Indians themselves. With the whole fair and lovely obsession that Indians have, African nationals residing in India face the maximum brunt of Indian racism.

From being denied houses on rent to being branded as drug dealers and more, African students have it really bad in India. And forget about foreigners, the worst part of Indian racism is what Indians from the North-East part of the country face on a daily basis. From being labelled 'chinki' to being heckled by being called 'Made in China' to being not acknowledged as Indians in the first place, INDIAN citizens who look slightly different than the conventional norm or are dark skinned have it really worse. It is imperative for every Indian to realise and understand that this vast country has a multitude of ethnic groups and there is no one race that defines an Indian.

The icing on the cake in this context is the recent statement made by a former MP, who said "if we were racist, why would we have all the entire south…Tamil, Kerala, Karnataka and Andhra…why do we live with them? We have black people around us". In a country where being dark skinned is considered to be a disgrace, statements like these truly show the extent of racism that exists here.

I found this video on my Facebook feed and it made me think about it and this is something every Indian should watch and understand. Especially students. If you can't see the video here the link https://www.facebook.com/thevisualradio/videos/1733113773649354/
"}]
'I know Kung-Fu'

There's something special about movies that have layers upon layers in them, so cleverly hidden and yet in plain sight that when you watch the movie again after years, you ask yourself how exactly did you miss something so obvious all along. Growing up, I've always seen The Matrix as an action flick with a lot of philosophy thrown in the midst, but today, as I rewatch the movie, I realise what it was all about. I finally understand the point they were trying to make all those years ago.

Of course, The Matrix is a world wide phenomenon today, the Wachowski Sisters gave the world a movie that, at the time, was so complex to us who had never experienced a movie with such nuance and layers, it simply blew our minds. A running joke of the time was that nobody actually understood The Matrix, but people only pretended to do so. It was only with repeated viewings that I finally understood the point the Sisters were trying to make, and why the movie has become such an important cultural icon in many countries across the world.

Unfortunately, Indian movies have only managed to be 'inspired' by it's action sequences only, which in my opinion are just there to advance the plot, and not the multi-layered story telling of the movie.

The premise is simple enough, human beings are being used as batteries to power an entire city full of machines, and that The Matrix is a construct, a dream world that the people being used as energy sources are put into so they do not understand that something is wrong and continue about their lives as if nothing has happened.

But it's the questions that it asks us. When the movie released, many people honestly became paranoid of living in The Matrix themselves. The concept is so real and so close to home, it was bound to be terrifying. What if The Matrix is real and everything you're seeing today is just lines of code written by an intelligent machine? Everyone you've ever loved, touched, everything you've ever eaten, every laugh or smile you've had on your face, what if all of it was false?

Since we're short on time and I would love to talk about this movie on a later date, let us get the most obvious question the movie asks you out of the way: Assuming you know what the real world is like and you were pulled out of the Matrix in the first place, would you choose to wake up and fight for survival, or would you chose to continue believing the lie, living it and forgetting everything about humanity's struggle?

Chew on that.

The Matrix trilogy has been recently added on Netflix. Now would be an excellent time for a rewatch, if you're interested. Alternatively, The Wachowaski Sister's Netflix original Sense8 is also a fantastic watch.
"}]
Everybody wants a good life but nobody wants to struggle or work hard! The thing we expect is like surmount! All we need to do is put our efforts and struggle for it!But expecting something without hard work is like drilling the earth to reach the other end! Let me give you an example! There is a guy who is graduating in some college and he needs to travel a foot distances to reach his college, but he is being graduated, so going college by walk to him is like "what are you speaking about! Is that my status?."....to go by walk!? He doesn't want to go college by walk indeed goes for a morning walk, because he needs to stay fit and needs a fat-free body... but his thoughts aren't status free!. And some people go the gym for a workout and they'll be like.. oh damn! I should work out now, ugh 20 more reps, it is hurting! If we have these kinds of thoughts, then we'll never succeed! Even Lord Rama left his kingdom on Dasaratha's order and to say in real life, Abdul Kalam studied under the street lights, but he never expected that he'll become a scientist! The day you hug your priorities and status, one fine day you will be surely kicked back by them! First love the work you want to achieve, without strategy you can't! My dad usually says.. "LIVE A KING AND WORK LIKE A LABOUR.That really inspires me! It is a kinda boost!

"}]
Hey! How you doin'?

Assuming that you have access to anything since you have Google, Facebook, Youtube, Quora?

Well, mate. This is just the 1%(Not exactly :'3) of the web.

The internet contains at least 4.7 billion websites that have been indexed by search engines. That huge number barely scratches the surface of what's really out there, however. The rest is known as the deep web, which is 400 to 500 times larger than the surface internet, according to some estimates. Most of that is made up of innocent content, such as emails, social media profiles, subscription sites, and anything that you need to fill out a form to access. But because the deep web is hidden from search engines, some people use it for more illegal purposes.

The dark web is the subset of the deep web that's known as a haven for criminal activity.

Users can only access sites on the dark web through special software that encrypts their activity and routes them through random nodes to get to where they're going, making it harder for anyone to track them. Still, even accessing the dark web can be enough to set off red flags at the FBI, and it's easy to make mistakes that can tip off law enforcement. Uncover more mysteries of the deep web and the dark web with the videos below.

We all know that India is the only country that has most youth population. If that's our benefit, then will have challenges too. In present today, Country's biggest challenge is unemployability. The working age population is more than 300 million. But a fascinating thing is that every year over 200 millions peoples go unemployed.

Recently one of my friends was debating on this topic saying that "The US has only 31% of self-employed people where as India has 72% of its population as self-employed". The fact is that "people don't want to be unemployed, so they are self-employed". We cannot expect everyone to have an Entrepreneurial gene right! With this, the people can only meet their end requirements but not a good life.

Indian economy may be growing more than twice as fast (GDP rapid increase of 7%) as the rest of the world but the story of employability in front is quite opposite.

We all get excited when we get thought about "Kalam sir's 2020 vision", but according to many surveys, they predict that 2050 will turn to be a nightmare for India(due to unstable employment opportunities). Millions of youth would be unemployed until 2050 year.

As per stats, to avoid that situation, India needs to create over 280 millions of jobs every year.

There are indeed many reasons but some of the prominent reasons are

Most of the people are not in organised sector of employment. Only 10% of a population are in the organised sector, remaining in unorganised sector which is temporary and unstable. And the worst part, 40% of Indian population are neither educated nor employed.

But here the main problem is not about creating jobs,

The problem lies with "Indian Education system"

The education system is so unstable that it is not preparing the youth of India for the needs of the modern economy. The window of opportunity in the modern world is narrowing day by day. Adoption of Artificial Intelligence and Robotics are hitting the employable opportunities so hard and soon their effect will be more intense.

The main thing on hotspot is that "The Indian education system is divorced from market realities. The link between student's knowledge and the market is very weak."

In Today, Students are just trained to pass exams but not to acquire skills which are useful in grabbing a job.The education lacks in Real-time experience. Academics are very useful, but skills grab jobs. India faces this more acutely. This is the problem that must be addressed by Govt. of India.

Now "If creating a job is one of the challenges, then skilling people is, even more, bigger task."

In India, most of the youth loose their opportunities only because of their ATTITUDE. People here want money, but they don't want to learn and don't want to work.

This type of attitude is the main reason why Indian youth go jobless.

They don't recognise that "Jobs and Money are given based upon their skills, but not for their degree."

But we cannot blame them either because it is the society and environment that had equipped them like that. And in spite of all that, students must always keep efforts to grow in Life.

Thank god. Many are doing that and growing in Life.

India is now one of the Global leaders among many other countries, but the job is not yet done. Improvement in many areas is still needed.

India must be a continuous Learner and developer.

The most fantastic phase I love is "INDIA IS A DEVELOPING COUNTRY"

We are always a continuous learner. That's what makes us different from others and lets us stand in a front row among hundreds of countries.

The cold metal of your chain sends light shivers down my back, and the shiny silver reflects the bright sunlight, what a beautiful day. I see your collarbone protruding from under the white fabric of your shirt, and resist an urge to unbutton a few buttons. You look so peaceful sleeping, like an embodiment of serenity and beauty, your long lashes casting shadows over your breathtaking face. Your pale lips looking irresistible as I engage in an inner debate if I should kiss them or not. I admire your long neck and feel a sudden urge to bite it. I wonder if I ever told you how much I loved you and how special you were to me. Fuck, you look so gorgeous even from up close. I never understood how a girl like me could end up with a guy like you. I look at your long calloused fingers and spot the ring I gave you on your twentieth birthday, a symbol of eternity with two diamonds on either side, which stands for my never ending love for you, looking down at my black dress, I smile to myself as it dawns on me that this is the first time I had seen you wearing a tux, and God, it did suit you well. I see your jet black hair touching your forehead and then I notice the scar that you got from the accident, I frown as I notice that it still hasn't healed properly. You'd be a great doctor someday, I know that for sure, given the passion you had for medical science. As I bend over you my fingers brush with the skin of your forehead and I notice how cold you are, then I scold myself for not bringing a shawl along. I can smell your cologne and think of the first time we made love, and now nervous we had been. I laugh at your poor attempt at making me laugh on our first date. I still cannot fathom how you can manage to look so sexy and cute all at the same time. I want you to open your eyes and let me drown in those beautiful blue orbs.

I feel my cell phone ringing and realize that this is the time to leave. I run my fingers through your hair and kiss your forehead like I'd always done. Looking around us I see people staring at us, I wonder if they're thinking of us being inseparable. I get on my knees and stand up, saying goodbye as I leave you sleeping. In your coffin.

"}]
Everyone has a habit of hanging on to some places when they feel themselves bored. I too have and these are my favourite places to hang out.

Coffee shop

My pretty much lovely place to hang out. Imagine yourself holding a cup of cappuccino in your hand, sitting beside a window and reading a novel. Wow! I want the time to stop there itself. And somehow sitting alone in a coffee shop never felt so bad. Best thing about coffee shops is that the environment and that pleasant aroma of coffee. They will make us to forget the world around. And moreover, coffee makes us observant. I have been going to coffee shops now and then most often but my love for that place has never faded away.

Book store

I can call a book store as my favourite distraction. When you have nothing to do and you want your self-get completely involved into something excluding the world around you, novels are the best option I suggest. Go to a book store, pick a novel, and start reading. They’ll create an illusion around you where you get yourself completely lost. When reading we don’t fall in love with the characters or appearance. We fall in love with their words, their thoughts, their hearts, and their souls. Each and everything that impacted us will be reciting in our brain. They’ll influence us a lot. Not In a bad way but in a good way. Have a habit of going to book stores. You’ll observe the change clearly.

Shopping malls

Of course, who doesn’t love shopping especially being a girl. For girls shopping is like an infinite endless process where you can never find yourself get bored. You may get tired but you won’t get bored. You’ll be fidgeting here and there all day busy in your own fantasy choosing your clothes. Sometimes when I see the expensive clothes I want my self to be successful because only then I can buy them.

Parks

Most of the people go to parks in the evenings for a fresh air and pleasant walk. Park is a place where peace is flooded everywhere. To calm yourself and to just clear all the thoughts that are lingering around your mind, just go for a walk in the park. It will really help you to get yourself relaxed.

These are my favourite hangout places where I usually go around. If you really like my ideas comment and let me know. Thank you☺
"}]
Growing in a society where women are not given proper rights. My parents, my friends, my school always told me to fight for your rights. There is always a theory embedded in our minds that men are dangerous, they are cruel, they don't have emotions. When you're dragged into a group of some mischief and blamed you never accept it. Then what about the men who faced domestic abuse, men who always cared, men who never raped. How does it feel to be clubbed with the sinners? When a 4-year-old boy was playing and accidentally fell on the ground , the first thing I heard from a mother's mouth is "boys don't cry". Boys are thought to hide their emotions from the start and how do you expect them to show when they grow up. If at all he grows up to caring, at teenage he is teased to be girly? Boys also have bullies, you are not an athlete, they judge your masculinity. You can be scared but you have to act tough to merge into the group. Once a man was raped and called the police and they laughed because men can't be raped? Right? That's the theory is set in our mind. Men are not taken into rehabilitation centres because the women there don't feel safe. Men are the victim of the majority of violent crime, but also far less likely to report it for the fear of appearing weak. One survey found that 40 percent of the victims of domestic abuse are men. Boys commit suicide nine times more often than girls.Ironic isn't it men don't have emotions but are most depressed.

Why are men crueler than women?

In Olden days men were to fight for land, money and survival. Men were to be cruel and strong to protect their homes. It was a way of living, to fight to live later it got embedded into the society but these days there is no fear of invasion nor the need to kill for a living . There are good men and there are men who are not sinners.

This isn't that women are the reason for everything. Being a woman you may be thinking why I am talking about men and not women. Everyone now knows about women rights and in today's society where being a feminist is a necessity but I would rather not call it a fight for women rights or a fight for men rights. it's called the fight for Human Rights.

"}]

Not sure about you, but I'm quite thankful!

My love for music has begun while watching MTV, 9XM etc music channels at the age of 10. From humming a song to singing it out loud, my love for music happened. It was there with me in my happiness, sadness and even in my deadness.

As being a student in Vardhaman, carrying your phone in college premises or even in the college bus is banned. So it is a tough situation for people like me to listen music without a phone in your travel time. There are many days, when I missed my college bus on purpose, in order to listen to music peacefully, travelling in an auto for more than 30kms.

I get emotional and i cry listening to some songs.Especially, ARIJIT SINGH songs.

He just sings with all the pain and he makes you get emotional in every possible way.

case 1. If you are single. Then he makes you cry for not being in love.

case 2.If you are taken. Then he makes you cry, get dramatic by thinking about your love.

case 3.If you brokeup. Then he makes you cry by making you reminisce all the moments you had with your ex.

Not only singers ,but also the lyricists these days write so relatable, touchy lines. They just break your bones and you are happy with that.

I sometimes think, how a blank resume of a single student makes him fill his resume in a successful path of career?

A college is simply isn't enough for a student to graduate or show the world that he is graduated. There are various skills lacking in a student like communication, interaction, public speaking, verbal skills etc.., which is making them lose the courage to face the world and live up to the expectations of people. No colleges now specifically take care of such skills, there are very rarely few colleges found working on students skills development.

A student should always think in a positive and negative ways too. But the negative thoughts should lead to the positive path only. Never think of peers much and make it a distraction in your studies. Instead, you can think of studies, if so you are not into that also, you can think about nature, admire and be inspired by it.

Never think to step back after choosing a path to live. Like I saw many students who step back of engineering after choosing it. WHY?

It was your choice of being a part of engineering life, your happiness, your passion, your interest, and much more. My dear friends always remember one thing, "THIEVES ARE THOSE WHO DON'T ENCOURAGE YOU, BE WITH YOU, WHO DON'T SUPPORT YOU, WHO WILL NOT BE YOUR SIDE."

There are other good people too, who stand for you, who are happy to your success, who will never leave your hand. Never fall into a trap of friendship or a relationship which affects your career and you will be regretting at the end.

I am not telling it is going to be easy to settle in your career, I'm telling your hard work now will be worth tomorrow in your life. Worry about loving yourself, your ideas rather than being interested in others ideas, skills etc..

Finally, i want to tell each and every student to push yourself because if you wait also no one will come and help you. It will always seem to be impossible unless and at least you try it in a proper way with your 100% efforts.

ALL THE VERY BEST TO EVERY STUDENT FOR THEIR CAREER!!!
"}]
