Meanwhile, during our school days in our chemistry labs, we used to have a 'Ph' experiment which shows us the nature of water, but here a 23-year-old Avishek Barla has created a strip which shows us the pure form of milk!

Avisek Barla, final year B-Tech student, won the Gandhian Young Technical Innovation (GYTI) Award this year for developing a strip of paper that reveals adulteration in a matter of seconds.

Also, it’s cost effective, not just to use but also to manufacture The strip is divided into 2 zones “It can detect as many as four adulterants in a single test, The FSSAI identifies about 33 adulterants in milk, and the device so far can detect the presence of glucose, urea, boric acid and detergent.” Avishek shares with the reporters

Generally, the paper consists of reagents spread across its length and because of the presence of these reagents the strip changes its colour when in contact with the adulterated milk. To make these strips, Avisek used a normal inkjet printer to “print” the chemicals in small amounts on the paper.

In accordance with Avishek, using paper as a medium and chemicals at small quantities also help to bring down the costs “On the other hand, the paper strip at a nominal cost will help a distributor test for adulterants before they buy milk from the farmer,” Avisek explains.

“One only needs to put a drop of the milk sample on the paper to get the results. If the paper changes colour, it indicates adulterants. At this juncture, it is the distributor’s job to reject the sample at the source.”

Avishek was inspired to create something which comes in the use of common man, and the main intention behind the innovation was to stop adulteration. this strip is called a polymer chip which comes in the use of distributors and households.

Now, Avisek is working with his team to develop ways to identify more adulterants. He is also working on a test that can discover the contents of milk, such as the percentage of fat, protein and antibiotics. Meanwhile, they are in talks with companies to launch this detection strip into the market.
"}]

Hello Everyone,

I want to share a Very Current topic running in our country that is Farmer Suicides. Many of the farmers die due to many problems arrive before them like

>family problems

>Bank loans

> problems during farming

>Droughts

>illness and many more.

And As we are engineers we need to bring the change, because 60% Indian income is depend on the farming.as per 2014 record over 2000+ farmers attempted suicide.and Over the past few years, Maharashtra has been topping the list of states in the country when it comes to farmers committing suicide. Frequent droughts, crop failure, non-realisation of prices for agricultural products are some of the reasons which drive farmers to take the extreme step.

Once,I attended a international conference conducted by Anveshana foundation, and there was a presentation on preventing farmer suicides.By that Presentation i got an idea that we can prevent suicide by creating a app like VithU app.we all know that If a person is Frustrated or In a tension we can see on his face.Someone needs to be there with him to take care of him at that critical moment, so we can create a app which leads to inform to his family members when he is in need Just one message to his family that Your member is in trouble can save a life, atleast one life not many. I belongs to mechanical branch I don't have any idea about how to create an app or coding so need an help, suggestions and guidence to make it success. Its just a simple idea which leads to save few of the precious lifes.

Procedure: Heat some butter in a pan. You can use oil too. Add some onions and let them caramelize (turn brownish). Whisk the egg in another bowl. Do not over beat the egg. The last thing you want is the egg to be fluffing up because the omelette has to be thin and for that it should not be over beaten. Add some salt, cheese and herbs to it. Normally you just fold the egg with the fillings of your choice but here the cheese and herbs are added to the egg batter itself. Now in another pan heat some butter/oil. Wait 30 seconds to ensure the other side of the egg is cooked, fold in half, wait 1 minute to melt cream cheese mixture. Remove from heat, serve.

Toasted sesame seed oil is VERY strong tasting. The department of Electronics and Communication Engineering, Coimbatore campus is organizing a National Seminar on Techniques and Applications of Hyperspectral Image Analysis on April 19-20, 2016.

Over the past decade, hyperspectral imaging has matured into a powerful and a wieldy technology in remote sensing and other research areas. Hyperspectral imagery (HSI) provides detailed spectral information in each pixel. The narrow bands in HSI over a wide range of wavelengths can enable excellent discrimination capability for subtly different target classes compared to multispectral or other imaging modalities.

The availability of this rich information in HSI can also be a drawback as this becomes a challenge to efficiently process them. This needs to be tackled by exploring and developing new methodologies for processing HSI data. The major application fields of hyperspectral image processing include but not limited to Geology - Mineral detection, Cover homogeneity Defense - Target detection, Mine detection Public safety - Logistics &operations, Fire risk, floods Regulation & Policy making-Urban growth Settlements, population movements

There are different kind of people who show different attitudes.....so majorly if we classify there are two kind of people....

1) These are kind who think about people around them..and give more importance to happiness of people around them....these kind of people doesnt think about their intrest because their intrests are depend on other people opinion

2)These are kind who think about themselves...they doesnt change for anyone...these are known as selfish...they doesnt change for anyone...they need what they want...they will strive for it untill they get it...

let me tell you about these two kinds of people...

if we segregate these people of two kind...we can see so many worst situations...the people of first kind they have people so many who love them...they have respect ,love,.everything...but the problem is...they are happy outside not inside...because they have everything what he need not what his heart needs.....they doesnt have things what they love because their intrest depends on others opinion not on their opinion...the second kind pretty intresting....they love doing things what they like....they do it for them...they doesnt think about others...they think they are something they must and they can do it....when they turn around they can see they will have everything...but not a person who love him....in this case they the people around them are happy outside not inside....in 1st case they people around him happy in and out...not him......

NOW JUST SEE IF WE CLUB THESE TWO KINDS HOW GREAT IT LOOKS!!!

The people.. of this both kinds are people of great maturity..who can balance their every situation with great clarity...these people tries to love everyone...makes everyone happy....and at the same time they love their intrests and says his intrests in a way that everyone would conveince and try to do the thing what these people do....they are something different from other...they love like no one would love like them....they help in a way no one can do better than they help....the make everything in a easy conveincing manner....these people are the real one who are happy inside and outside....they are selfish...they are people who value people around them....these people know....where they must win and where they must step back....sometimes these leave because sometimes leaving it is better than catching....these people of both kinds are the one who will have everything what others want from them...and what he want from his....so hope u people got my point....just a small analysis what i have seen..

Yesterday...It was so boring ...I wanted to see a good movie that can make me feel happy..But instead of making happy it inspired me ...today fully i was thinking of that ..I have seen Hachiko (a dogs story) basically its a real story that happened in November 10,1923 in odate Japan. It was an akita dog.

There was a professor at the university of Tokyo.one day at night he found a dog in railway station, actually its the dog which came near to the professor.professor enquired about that dog every where ..even his wife make fliers so that they can find dogs owner..but no one showed up ...during this searching time professor really attached to dog..so they decided to keep the dog..professor tried alot to make hach fetch the ball as he threw ....unlike other dogs hach didn't fetch,it dont play with balls and with other stuffs that dogs usually play.its is a wonder dog..professor daily goes by train and returns at night by train...At morning hach will go with professor after he boarded into train it returns ..At evenings....when train whistles hach will start from house and reach the station wait at the waiting point before professor comes and this continued for so many years.

One day strangely hach barked when professor started in the morning ...It didn't go to station with professor ...but later , before he reached the station hach came with a ball and stood in front of professor..professor has thrown the ball and hach did his first fetch.....he did it only to stop the professor going to work....still professor went and never returned ....he died at his work...and the hatch waited at the same station for next 10 years ......hoping professor's return...Hach died in 1935....Now there is a statue at that station.....

What do you think made hach to wait for professor almost 10 years ....Its definitely affection..love and concern professor showed to hach....Never ever behave to your loved ones as they are taken for granted .....care those who really deserves .....Being loved is greatest thing for anyone....Be lovable..Be kind.....Its really your behaviour that stays after your death too....Be loyal to your parents ...they have given more than you deserve......This is the only life you have to be loved and to love .....Be happy enjoy every moment and don't forget to be HONEST........
