Leftover salad and the pear you forgot about in the back of fridge don't belong in landfill. Instead, toss organic waste into a backyard compost pile to transform that refuse into nutrient-rich fertilizer for your own lawn and garden. Inside the mound, a community of worms, bacteria, and other microorganisms breaks down the natural junk. Here's what you'll need to get started making your own brown gold.

If you don't have anywhere outside to store your compost, consider hoisting your scraps in the freezer. They'll stay stink-free and won't attract unwanted house guests like flies or roaches. I would like to speech over save the girl child. In the Indian society, girl children are considered as the curse from the ancient time. If we think from our own mind the question arise that how the girl child can be a curse. The answer is very clear and full of fact that without a girl child, boy child can never take birth in this world. Then why people do lots of violence again women and girl child. Why they want to kill the girl child before taking birth in her mother’s womb. Why people rape or sexually harass the girls at home, public place, schools or work place. Why a girl is attacked by the acid and why a girl child become victim of various men cruelty.
It is very clear that a girl child always become blessing for the society and reason for the continuation of life in this world. We worship many female Goddesses at various festivals however never feel a little bit of kind to the women living in our home. Truly, the girls are pillars of the society. A small girl child can be a good daughter, a sister, a wife, a mother and other good relations in the future. If we kill them before taking birth or do not care after taking birth then how we will get a daughter, sister, wife or mother in future. Is anyone of us has ever thought that what will happen if women deny to be pregnant, give birth to a baby or give all responsibility of their motherhood to men. Are men able to do all such responsibilities. If not; then why girls are killed, why they supposed as curse, why they are burden to their parents or society. Why the eyes are not being open of the people even after many surprised truth and facts about girls.

Now-a-days, women are working outside in the field with the men by meeting shoulder to shoulder together with their all the responsibilities at home. This is a big shame to us that still girls are victims of many violence even they have changed themselves to survive in this modern world. We should actively participate in the campaign of save the girl child by removing the male dominating nature of the society. In India male considered themselves dominating and superior than women which gives rise all the violence against girls. Saving the girl child first needs parents to change their mind. They need to stop neglecting their daughter’s nutrition, education, living style, etc. They need to consider their kids same whether they are girls or boys. It is the parent’s positive thinking towards girls which can change the whole society in India. They should raise the voice against criminal doctors killing innocent girls in the womb before their birth just for getting some money. All the rules and regulations should be tough and active against those who are involved in the crime against girls (whether they are parents, doctors, relatives, neighbors, etc). Only then, we can think and expect a good future in India. Women should also need to be strong and raise their voice. They should learn from the great women leaders in India like Sarojini Naidu, Indira Gandhi, Kalpana chawla, Sunita Williams, etc. Without women everything is incomplete in this world like man, home, and a world itself. So, its my humble request to all of you that please involve yourself in saving the girl child.

Prime Minister of India, Narendra Modi has said in his speech on girl child that “Am Standing Before you as Beggar”. He has launched a nationwide campaign named “Beti Bachao-Beti Padhao” (means save girl child and educate girl child) scheme was launched in 2015 for the welfare of women.
Generally we all feel proud to be an Indian but for what, to see girl child abortion and other violence against them. I think, we have rights to say ‘proud to be an Indian’ only when we respect and save girl child. We should realize our responsibilities of being an Indian citizen and give a better stop

1527686358265
txt"}]
There are many movies out there, but the movies that are based on the true events have always got a special place and are the ones that cannot be missed. One such movie would be Adrift, scheduled to release on 1st of June. Here are the true instances the movie is based on…

Tami Oldham Ashcraft and Richard Sharp, the couple who met by chance and are lucky enough to find love. The couple had a good sailing experience and are pleasure sailors for a bit of while. It was in October 1983, they accepted a job of delivering a yacht Hazana from Tahiti to San Diego with over 4000 miles to cover. In their journey, they were caught up by a category four, Hurricane Raymond. In the middle of the hurricane, they decided to fight against it. Ashcraft’s fiancée Sharp asked her to stay below the deck and he would try to control the things by staying on top. But, things never went their way, the monstrous waves raising over 40 feet and winds with unimaginable speed completely destroyed their vessel and Ashcraft got a head injury and fell unconscious. After she gained conscious, she was shocked to see the destroyed vessel and was devastated as she didn’t find her love Sharp on board. He was probably pulled in to the sea by the killer waves and she knows there was no return. The movie is expected to depict how Ashcraft survived after all this with a broken heart and a broken vessel. The movie is based on her book, Red Sky in Mourning: A true story of Love, Loss and Survival at Sea.

It was never easy for her to survive such a disaster after what all she lost and suffered. It depicts her courage and toughness. The movie would definitely be the one to watch and also to experience Adrift the way Ashcraft did…
"}]
Friends was introduced to the audience way back in 1994. A story of six friends living in New York changed how people viewed television sitcoms. Friends brought about a revolution among the masses, and increased viewership to new record levels. Fans were left in tears after the series finale in 2004, wondering what was left to watch. Then came another series with a bang called 'How I Met Your Mother', in 2005. With five friends living in similar lines in New York, it garnered a new group of fans around the world, and with it, a new topic of discussion called 'HIMYM or F.R.I.E.N.D.S'?

If one tries to draw a comparison between both the sitcoms, Friends scores a wee bit higher according to popular polls. It is far more funnier, and is a complete roller coaster ride throughout the ten seasons. Each one of the six characters in Friends teaches us a few important life lessons, creating a deep connection between the viewers and the fans. But HIMYM is far more realistic than Friends if one is brutally honest. Friends created illogical funny situations out of nowhere, but HIMYM explored human relationships, the problems adults face in life and explores some harsh bitter truths of life. The creators of HIMYM always stated that it was never inspired from Friends, but fans have always done so since it's inception. Probably Friends offered the respite people needed from life, while HIMYM made people more aware of what was going on in their lives.

Friends is purely only comical in it's truest sense, while a lot of people may disagree with it. Some people admit that HIMYM made them uncomfortable sometimes, but it was only because HIMYM showed the truth. Through research it has been found out that people who watched whichever show first, became a fan of it, and not the other one. This proves that creators of each show have managed to generate extreme levels of attachment of the show with their respective fans. These kinds of debates never ends, with each side providing new reasoning everyday. A fan of either show can only be thankful that he or she is fan of one of the greatest shows ever made.

I wake up each morning with my long term goals and my comings.
The first thing I look at in the morning is my hair, and if you ask me I have been that over Obssessed lady never letting anyone have enough of my things.

I dont let people get used to my fragrance so each time you meet me , you wont recognize it , at days I mix 2 and at days 3 because I dont just like to use one.

My short comings and my fear of rejection and being disowned comes to me more often then less , and everytime I just look at my roots and never let myself look into the small things.

How do you expect me to cut off the very thing I am in love with ?

Frankly, you dont.

But let us put this way at point in life it is important to give up your space and your fears and obssessions.
You are allowed to give up , cut off and move ahead from those things to just give yourself somethin' better.
At times you dont deserve that so that is how you give up upon those things.

Cutting off your hair to let them next time grow a little longer, so that next time they grow out of bound without fear of objection and rejection.
So the next time you look at yourself you hope for better then this.
Enough fair to cut off for a better and new you.
To givin' up that 2*2 comfort zone.

1527606863767
txt"}]
There was a time when kids in India would eagerly wait every month for the next issue of the 'Tinkle'. Some of the 'lucky' ones subscribed to the comic, receiving it at their doorstep at the the beginning of each month, for the princely sum of Rs.240 per year. Others would hop on to the nearest bookstall, eager to grab the latest copy. This practice was common among the kids of the 90s and the 2000s. Another comic hugely popular since a long time was the Amar Chitra Katha. People used to buy ACM titles at Rs 1 or 2 in the sixties. Prices rose to around Rs 30 in the last decade, and now people buy it for as high as Rs.90 per title. Mr. Anant Pai, fondly called as 'Uncle Pai' sure did a great job in making the childhoods of Indian children one of the most memorable ones.

Characters like Suppandi, Shikari Shambu, and Tantri the Mantri ruled the comic circles at one time. They transported the kids into a new imaginative world, be it the jungles where Kaalia the Crow and his friends lived, or the mystical lands of Jaanoo the Witch, the lazy villages where Pyarelal and Lajjo lived, or the comical situations of Ina Mina Myna Mo. Ajay the detective brought the new definition of 'cool' to children, and Butterfingers had the latest 'swag' in town. They all managed to make children an inch happier. Amar Chitra Katha, on the other hand, brought to life historical figures, ancient tales of kings and queens, and the lives of freedom fighters. In a simple manner, they all managed to enrich children with the rich history of India's culture and traditions.

These comics are still available today, even though at exorbitant prices. It is unfortunate that children are least interested in theses comics, and only in social media these days. After the demise of Uncle Pai, executives in the publication house have also not managed to keep up to the standards. It is very important that children have knowledge about their own country and have an imaginative and creative mind. They are the citizens of tomorrow, and shaping them appropriately is the need of the hour.

Books in Assamese language are “Miksijili (novel)”, “Kankanar Prithibit (short story)”, “Asom Darshan (essay)”, and “Dupor Nishar Bahit (poems)”. “Miksijili” his novel is based on socio-cultural life of Mishing which was awarded prestigious Ambikagiri Raichoudhury Award of Asom Sahitya Sabha, the novel was also telecaste as serial from Guwahati Doordarshan, Assam. The book actually deals with the major tribe of Assam i.e. The Misings an attempt to understand the process of acculturation, communication and development among the Missing tribe of Assam. The book deals with the concept of ‘acculturation’ during late nineteenth century where different authors gave their different views on acculturation like Powell (1880), about ‘changing indigenous traditions under the influence of civilized people’. The book also portrays the social life, clan and kinship organization, Marriage, Religion, different festival, about the folk dance and folk song, political life of Mishing. The Acculturation among the Mishings which mainly deals with the religious contacts which made the Mishings the part of the regional culture and the great tradition of Hinduism and also talks about the food habit, the language spoken, the house pattern, the dress pattern and the tools and implements. The author has been successful to write about the Mising community because each covers a different aspect of the Mising community and moreover he was able to put up statistical data for the readers. The chapters deal deeply with the topics concerned. The book happens to be catchier because of the different case studies that the author has did keeping in mind the different topics the book deals with. And also at the end of the book he has showed the interview schedule that he has used to interview people in the villages. According to me, the author has done justice by studying the Mising community because he has used each and every detail from the name of the food for example apong, Adin (meat), ango(fish) etc and what are the new things that they has adopted in their culture. Although he has use some of the concepts but this book can be read to know the Mishing community of Assam. I am happy that I have taken out little time to read this book which was a profitable and enjoyable experience.

What does Cyber mean?

Cyber is a prefix used in a growing number of terms to describe new things that are being made possible by the spread of computers. Anything related to the Internet also falls under the cyber category.

Few examples of this are

Cyberspace- A metaphor for describing the non-physical terrain created by computer systems. Online systems, for example, create a cyberspace within which people can communicate with one another (via e-mail), do research, or simply window shop. Unlike real space, though, exploring cyberspace does not require any physical movement other than pressing keys on a keyboard or moving a mouse.

Cyberculture- A slang term used to describe the emerging culture of those who are networked in cyberspace. It is a society of people who use computer networks for communication.

Cyber-security - Cyber-security refers to the technologies and processes designed to protect computers, networks and data from unauthorized access, vulnerabilities and attacks delivered via the Internet by cyber criminals.

Cyber security, also referred to as information technology security, focuses on protecting computers, networks, programs, and data from unintended or unauthorized access, change, or destruction. Government agencies, the military, corporations, financial institutions, hospitals, and other groups collect, process, and store a great deal of confidential information on computers and transmit that data across networks to other computers.
