Well, to begin with, I am no genius, neither am I the topper. Yet, like any well wisher, I feel for you since I too have faced this kind of crisis. If you have given up your life after joining engineering, cry no further, because here are some tips to fill your answer sheets (I will not guarantee that you will pass with flying colors, lest you look for some weapon to hit me with, after the results come out!)

 Disclaimer- these are purely out of experience (my own and those of my friends) and I can in no way guarantee the success ratio.

 If you are still game, read on!

 Black and blue pens, a well sharped pencil, scale etc – I know, I know! You are glaring at me but trust me, a few semesters ago, I used only a blue pen and then a well wisher advised me to use a black pen for headings, pencil for diagrams etc, and it worked wonders!

 Neatness is the key- this too is out of personal experience! Thank you, my dear professors! I am one lazy human, and had no inclination towards a neat hand writing. I would scribble perfect answers, yet would score less. Then, an angelic professor made me practice a neat handwriting (TRUE) And lo and behold! I scored better.

 No DDLJ, BAAHUBALI plots- those seniors who say,” write any movie story or a song, but basically, just fill the papers and you will pass” need to be ignored. Write anything related to the subject, if not to the topic.

 Diagrams, diagrams everywhere… Draw diagrams for every answer you can manage to (read:relevant). And please, draw with a pencil ( I drew with a pen once!) If you need to attempt a programming subject- write programs for everything and anything.

 You cannot score if you do not even know the ABCs of the subject- Yeah, there are exceptions but technically, it is always better to have a basic idea about what you are getting into so that filling papers would be easy.

 Do not depend on “friends” – Really guys, most of the time, nobody knows anything. If your friend keeps filling the papers, chances are that he is filling them with crappy stuff. So, don’t get hyper, concentrate on filling yours. If he/she is actually writing the right answer, then go ahead.. (If you know what I mean!)
