As soon as I entered the pooja hall of the temple, I heard the sounds of bell ringing which created a positive vibration and made my mind rejuvenate. I attended the pooja for all the 9 days of navratri and also on the day of VIJAYA DASHAMI (Dussehra).

Devi Durga Maa is adorned with lots of jewellery and beautiful Sarees for the entire period of 10 days. All my colony members joined the pooja. It was a very pleasant experience to meet all of them. " DAD! I would like to pursue my bachelors in journalism and then explore, my passion in music!" Fast forward to the year 2017, I got into Mahatma Gandhi Institute Of Technology to do my undergrad in Mechatronics Engineering, bearing a ten digit roll number that was going to be my identity for the coming four years. Doesn't this story sound familiar? Yes! because, this is the story of most of us trying to figure out what our destiny is. But realizing that the journey is more beautiful is something I learnt from the past two years. Four semesters, countless record papers, bundles of assignments, everything just flied along with time. New semester and its new lessons, but the voice hiding somewhere behind my mind always reminds me that I'm not made for this and there's something more I've got to explore. Arts have always grabbed my attention, wherever I go. The SYMPHONY, BEAT CRUISERS, SPOTLIGHT, D.O.P, MUSE(Art club), PERSONA, require a mention for making my college life exciting and giving me those endless positive vibes. Like a coin has two sides, the B.Tech life gave me a taste of failure and also gave me strength in the form of friends, and family to overcome my fears . Be it four years or forty, I'm going to carry suitcases and suitcases of memories and lessons along with me. The feeling of being alive, the art of loving and accepting what is ahead of me will live and grow along with me. Thank you M.G.I.T for choosing me as your student and sculpting me into a better person from the previous day.
"}]
Dussehra is the festival, which marks the victory of truth over evil. It is the festival of hope. Though, there are a lot of tales behind it celebrations, but all culminate to mark the victory of goodness over evil. People irrespective of their caste and creed celebrate this festival with utmost joy and pleasure across the country.

Burn the Ravana inside you

It is a day of victory-when Lord Rama killed Ravana and a day when Maa Durga killed demon Mahisasura. To celebrate the occasion every year we burn statues of Ravana, but have you ever thought about the Ravana inside you? Today we have Smartphones, expensive accessories, luxurious cars, but we don’t have peace of mind, and it is just because of the Ravana inside us that is of greed, jealousy, anger or corruption, which is present inside us.

In today’s world morals of Lord Rama are being overlooked and unconsciously we are making Ravana, the protagonist of the story an idol of our life.

No matter how much effigy of Ravana we burn every year, but we will never be at peace until we eradicate him from us.

Introspection is important

As a human being each one of us have a deva and a demon inside us. And it is our choice whom we want inside us. We all know good things happens to good people and bad things to bad people, but then also for our profit we do wrong things. But this Dussehra do something different, kill the Ravana inside you – hold the vision of positivity and trust the process.

In the era of show off society,we have forget our near and dear ones. Most of do not stay with our parents, so this Dussehra make them feel special spend time with them, and with your family and friends.

This Dussehra take a pledge say no to Jealousy, greed, corruption, ego, and anger.

So wish you all a very Happy Dussehra. Dandiya is a dance form usually performed in a group,by both men and women. The difference between Garba and Dandiya is that while Garba is played in the beginning and before the aarti,Dandiya comes after the aarti as part of enjoyment and the end. The steps to Garba are soothing and so are the songs while the Dandiya songs have a lot more beats and energy. Both go hand in hand and the Navratri puja is considered incomplete without one of the two. Talents have no bounds...!

Here's the young woman entrepreneur - Sana Khader, from Kozhikode, Kerala, who made papercraft as her passion and is reviving the lost art of letter writing through her hobby of pen paling.

Well-known in Instagram as ‘Zannist’ (a combination of ‘Zana’ and ‘artist’), she writes a great deal of letters every week to remain connected with her pen pals from various countries.

Sana Khader is learning about the world through her art passion. (56 pen pals, 32 countries)

Apart from her busy schedule... she gave her time to share her views and her journey through a telephonic conversation.

Knowing the inner potential in which you seek happiness and render it to be your passion is again an unique achievement!!!

What was like the trigger point or the defining moment for you to pick up this art form?

Well, I better call it my turning point! It was during my 12th standard, that was the day I made an album for my best friend. He liked it the most and everyone in my class liked it. Everyone appreciated me and wanted a single piece of it. From then I was getting the orders... I used to make different craft things and used to enjoy a lot, that's how I got into this career option.

What do you call this form of craft? Who supported you the most in this whole journey?

All these things are like heaven for me from where I get the joy! I don't have a specific name but, I feel like I'm out of the world, whenever I am with the papers and craft works. I am too addicted that, if some ideas do pop up in my mind and if Iam unable to do it before I hit the bed, I cannot sleep. What I do is... scrap book crafts, home decor items, albums and much more creative things. My mom supported me well and she was always behind me boosting up in every circumstance throughout my journey.

txt
rich_1571161199684

Your profile talks about craft innovation! How thinking outside the box helps in making these creative and innovative crafts?

I consider myself as someone who try to experiment different crafts. For suppose when I get a paper, I make it into a boat. If I get more time , I think of the ways to modify it by seeing it in different dimensions. And that's what works for me and even every artist do that. So, what I wanted to suggest from this is... You should not stick with one thought rather always try to think of still better ways to mould it. That's what helps you to think creative!!!

When there came the talk about the entrepreneurship... she shared her views...

"Necessity is the mother of invention." I feel many are suppressing their talents due to their circumstances and the urge of their degree. So, there's a necessity to lift other's up through our actions. And this could for sure happen by the power of an entrepreneur! Even in my case: “People thought I had gone nuts doing all this. This was no where close to what I had studied in college being CSE student. They saw me working day and night, travelling to the post office regularly, and thought it was a pastime. But I guess I proved them wrong.” And I wanted to see the same happening in case of others who are passionate to go along their interests.

txt
rich_1571161199685

Lots of more colorful feed in the page!

So relatively... I asked...

Your craft work posts in instagram in an other way spread happiness and positivity when we view!!! How do you feel about it? How social media is helping in your career?

Regarding the social media... works and customers are mainly from instagram and that's how I get potential customers and that's where people actually find my profile and place orders. “I started by uploading images of my creations on Instagram. I stared with 300 followers, which has grown to a huge number of people around the globe.”
So... I can say, social media was the main part in my career which actually gave me encouragement of -"Yes I can.. this is possible" and gave a green signal to carry on with my passion. So I give priority to that!

Next.. Spreading positivity... I get messages everyday saying... colorflite... "Your feed is really nice..." I feel really super happy!!! Even many who view them... even texted that they feel attracted to this art and even at times try out them and feel them as stress busters kinda things... These all makes me happy.

So I think someone who is passionate to start a business can take the extreeme support of social media... instagram... They have to be very sure about their way of presenting the feed- bright and good quality pictures must be uploaded and be concsious with the captions. I give importance to all these.

txt
rich_1571161199688

We heard about the workshops that you conduct... How these workshops are helping in generating new zeal of this identical art?

I have conducted more than 30 workshops on my own and I wanted to train people who are interested in these. As told earlier, the important part in building career is identifying inner potentials. So these workshops for sure aim in discovering the skills and giving wings to their talents. Even I aim to empower the women who are restricted and cannot express their creativity. So, through these initiatives i even want to support them and give them a space, opportunity to grow.

Valuable token...

Once actually.. I got an order but I got to do it within less span of time. It was a very difficult task - like 500 rows of paper work to be done. But I was curious as I want to taste even this flavour. I learnt the value of patience how it is important while experimenting the designs and recovering the faults. So I would suggest that.. whenever you get into new field, do lot of efforts. Don't take overnight decisions. Do alot of research on the path you are going to decide. When you get a thought in your mind - do it at that moment. Don't postpone the things. This is my policy.

txt
rich_1571161199692

In the future, Sana Khader wants to start a collective, a community of artists that will exhibit the different talents of women, especially homemakers. Great intention right!!! Hope everything goes great :)

First I would thank Sana Khader Ma'am for sharing her journey and motivating to follow all along the interests.

Grasp this funda:

Everyone has a unique talent. This talent must be identified and then irrespective of odds... never give up your interests... Follow your heart and go on with your passions. If your struggle is true then ultimately you will rule with your passion. Outcome would be tonnes of happiness... and that satisfaction = incredible achievement

Wondering what does "Carpe diem" mean ? Carpe diem is a Latin phrase meaning "seize the day". This saying is used to encourage someone to make the most of the present rather than dwelling in the future. #lifeisfleeting. Carpe diem is a Latin aphorism , taken from book 1 of the Roman poet Horace's work Odes (23 BC). This term was first found in Odes book 1 : Dum loquimur , fugerit invida Ateas : carpe diem , Quam minimum credula postero which translates as : while we're talking envious time is fleeing :. Pluck the day , put no trust in future . Believing that living everyday as if it were my last brings a sense of quality and purpose to living . Why even live a life without meaning & purpose ? Carpe diem may be a philosophy for thousands of people around the world , but of course , it is easy for mang people , including me , to forget about the importance of making most of life . In life ,different occasions call for different actions , but there is always one thing that we can always count to lift ourself up : living life to the fullest . When we start focusing on what is truly important, we constantly start feeling the truth , meaning and joy coming forward from within ourselves.
