This is the age of social media, our phones have become such a major part of our lives that we cannot go five minutes without feeling the impulsive need to check what's going on. This has contributed majority to a loss of attention span and a tremendous drop in focus among youth. What can be done, then, to fix this issue?

And yes, I do realise the irony, considering this article came to your attention through social media.

1. Put that phone aside:

But finish reading this list first, otherwise all my effort goes down the drain.

This is perhaps one of the most important things you can do in the run up to your exams or anything you're studying for or even preparing for: turn off your mobile phone, hand it over to your parents or a sibling to keep safe until you're done, or if you trust yourself, put it in a desk drawer and forget it even exists. When you get in the zone, you'll get in the zone.

2. Zoned Out? Don't worry too much:

It is perfectly alright for you to zone out in between your study sessions because too much can overload your brain and you'll be left feeling sorry for yourself and wasting a lot more time than when you don't let your brain zone out. It's perfectly alright, just remember to refocus and power through the rest of the session.

3. Do not multitask:

I know this seems like a weird notion in 2017, when multitasking is considered the gold standard of hard work. Sure, I mean, you might know someone who studies for their exams while on a unicycle, juggling knives and cycling on a tight rope 100 feet off the ground, but that doesn't mean you too have to do that. There is nothing wrong with focusing at a single task over multitasking, in fact, focusing on a single task not only helps you completely immerse yourself in that task, but it also improves how you perform that task.

4. A Quiet Place:

Finding a place where you can focus and be completely geared up to push through your mountains of syllabus can be a positive thing, in fact, I highly recommend it. Even if you have to go to the outskirts of the city, set up camp and study by candle light, it will be worth the quietness around you. 5. Self-improvement:

This one happens over a period of time, not something you can develop overnight, but if you eat properly, workout and even meditate, your mind will be in a good place for you to focus on what you need to do. Be mindful of what you're eating, especially a couple of months ahead of the exams, and of course, don't forget to go for a run every now and then, or hit the gym.

Most desirable Faculty: A most desirable faculty is the one who creates a beautiful environment in his/her classroom which then looks, no less than a heaven where teacher resembles God who sprinkles all their knowledge to their students resembling all the devotees of God. Then why don’t we give enough respect and be grateful towards such everlasting deities(teachers) ?? So, let us make an effort to know almost everything, as we can’t stop and can’t know everything about them because knowing about such authentic survival is not so easy.

COMPUTER SCIENCE AND ENGINEERING:

Mrs.N.Jayanthi Madam, Department of Computer science and Engineering: I have not found a teacher better than her, it may be because there is no other faculty better than her, yeah but you may think I am selfish on that part, praising only my teacher. If you are, I liked that because it is good to be selfish for our loving teachers. Coming to the point, I have lot more to talk about our desirable faculty. I would say, Jayanthi Madam, who is a faculty of Department of Computer Science and Engineering, who teaches us the most explicit and worldwide advantageous subject, Java, is the most desirable faculty of CSE and IT. She has all the required Characteristics of a good and great teacher. She creates an attractive environment whenever she enters and works tirelessly to create a challenging and nurturing environment for her students. She actually has less to bother with our knowledge, as she mostly focuses on our commitment and dedication towards our studies and does as much as she can do to enhance our knowledge on the particular subject. She encourages doubts and queries to be raised in the class itself to avoid confusions after the class and gives a clear description of all the doubts raised which many faculties don't tend to do. Whatever she teaches, she does it with a complete clarity and confidence, which is the most requiring characteristic of a good teacher. What more to talk about her? If I continue, it will have no end as far as I know. So let us end this with a heart-touching quote: “A good teacher can inspire hope, ignite the imagination, and instil a love of learning."

FRESHMAN ENGINEERING:

Mrs.S.Charvani, department of freshman: She is really a self-trained faculty who just don’t require any edifications to be done in her teaching fashion. She is just concerned with her students and encourages her students in possibly every path they move. It may be in the case of their study, or any other extracurricular activities which most teachers lag in even though they are perfect in their teaching. She makes a friendly environment in the class whenever she enters and teaches in a well-fashioned way and also encourages questioning and raising doubts within the class like any other best faculty. Today’s youngsters need a motivation in every step they keep in this fast developing nation as time doesn’t stop for anyone and don’t work accordingly with us, unless and until we learn to manage our time, no one can help us. And in this process of success and hurdles, we require such well-nurtured teachers as of we were talking about. “the best teacher is the one who doesn't always be with us, but whose teachings don't leave us and revolve around us for the whole life.”

AERONAUTICAL ENGINEERING

Dr Amalesh Barai through his own reading, by participating in a variety of professional development activities, by listening to his students, by sharing ideas with his colleagues, and by reflecting on classroom interactions and students’ achievements. Good teaching is therefore dynamic, reflective, and constantly evolving.by him, in his lectures, he displays enthusiasm for his subject and a desire to share it with his students. He knows how to modify his teaching strategies according to the particular students, subject matter, and learning environment. Encourage learning for understanding and are concerned with developing their students’ critical-thinking skills, problem-solving skills, and problem-approach behaviours. Demonstrate an ability to transform and extend knowledge, rather than merely transmitting it; they draw on their knowledge of their subject, their knowledge of their learners, and their general pedagogical knowledge to transform the concepts of the discipline into terms that are understandable to their students.

MECHANICAL ENGINEERING

Dr K G K Murti He demonstrates how to make a connection with students. He genuinely enjoys students, knowing kids learn better when they believe the teacher likes them. He possesses the tools and process by which he assesses the students’ understanding of the subject. he utilizes a system for measuring student growth. He creates an atmosphere that’s conducive to learning. he finds ways to keep every student “in the game.” No assignment enables a student to give up. he pursues the marginalized student. He knows his subject well. He has mastered the content and knows how to communicate it to appropriate grade levels He never stops learning and growing himself. He finds creative ways to upgrade his lesson plans and pedagogy. He is a “stream,” not a “pond.” He has a clear voice in the classroom, but also his students do as well. The course experience should not be a talking head, a one-way transmission of data — the students’ needs and makeup should inform the pedagogy.

INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY:

T Vishnu Vardhan Reddy Sir: I am just really feeling such enthusiastic to talk about him as he teaches his students in the institute. He has all the qualities that the best teacher should have and in addition to that, he is very friendly with his students, what today’s teaching strategy wants a teacher to be because as the generation is growing in a rapid manner towards modernity, students require such an environment where they not only get strived to study , but where they can ,be motivated, whenever they require something that can make their stress all day long, out of their life. As, a youngster, in their study period, mostly spend their time on their campus or institute, they need time to time refreshment which can mould them towards their caring career, which will soon be, ahead of them. I am feeling proud to talk about Vishnu sir, who is just really caring and friendly towards each of their students, and not brings any type of partiality in the matter of suggesting his learners. He mostly talks about our upcoming career, which is the most important thing in this peak time, as we are near to find our life’s goal. What more does a teacher require to be best and most desirable? And moreover, he follows a definite principle of teaching his students in a clear fashion, which he doesn't change in any case, which I like the most.

ELECTRONICS AND COMMUNICATION ENGINEERING:

J. Siva Ramakrishna Sir: So let’s move on to one of the most aspiring department i.e.Electronics and Communication Engineering, which actually most students opt next to Computer Science. Moving around this department in search of a best and inspiring teacher, I have found Ramakrishna sir who is worthy enough to be called as the best faculty. He is a teacher who doesn’t only prepares himself efficiently in accordance with the humor of his students, but also presents all the concepts, whatever he teaches with a complete clarity, which most of the faculties lag despite having the complete knowledge on the specified subject He encourages his students to analyze all the concepts as per their understandings and develops a “learning cum communicative environment” in the classroom which makes the class active and sober in view, where students involve deeply with the maximum possible concern towards their good study plan. He is such a well planned and self-trained faculty who explains each and everything with no traces of confusion. Although, his classes for a long time in the afternoon session become little boring that is mostly because of lag of student’s concentration and rarely on his part, which can’t be kept in view in case of analyzing him for the best teacher.

CIVIL ENGINEERING

Dr G. Venkata Ramana He is a teacher who doesn’t only prepares himself efficiently in accordance with the humor of his students , but also presents all the concepts , whatever he teaches with a complete clarity, which most of the faculties lag despite having the complete knowledge on the specified subject He mostly talks about our upcoming career, which is the most important thing in this peak time, as we are near to find our life’s goal. What more does a teacher require to be best and most desirable? And moreover, he follows a definite principle of teaching his students in a clear fashion, which he doesn't change in any case, which I like the most. He got a good sense of humour, he comes well planned to class, he knows how to deliver content so that students can grab it. "If speaking is silver; then listening is gold."

ELECTRICAL AND ELECTRONICS ENGINEERING

Dr P Mallikarjun Sharma, I like his way of teaching. He always makes sure that each and every student understand the concepts which are being taught in his class. He is very much liberal and interactive in nature. I am damn sure that you will definitely learn the key concepts of EEE which will be taught by him. He respects students he always takes care that everyone is attentive in his class, he is very helpful he never fails to try and problem He develops a good learning atmosphere in his classroom his content and delivery is solid and practical oriented we are honoured to have such faculty in our college.
"}]
Acquaintance...

Classmate...

Friend...

Best Friend...

Close friend....

A relation takes a sufficiently good amount of time to cross all those phases, to become a lifetime one. Schooling gives one such opportunity, to all of us. I am pretty sure that school mates occupy the first places in one's close friend's list as it happened with me.

Let me share with you about one of my close friends ...

I met her in my 8th standard.Never had I expected that day, that, this girl is going to influence me greatly(even to this second). She is good at Maths, Science and especially English. She dances well and is good at drawing. My goodness!! Too much talent, then what, I had, at that time and what I had seen before! But above all these, another thing has grabbed my attention. She is exceptionally skilled at judging others and her judgement never misfired. Even today, she amazes me, with the same virtue.

I don't remember, what exactly had happened at our first meet but I thank god for creating that moment!!!.By the time we passed our S.S.C., we became good friends. Our friendship grew further, despite being at different places and studying at different colleges.

Many things have changed over years...She lost her father and in spite of facing such tough time, she never gave up at any instant. She has perfect plans regarding what to achieve in future and aspires to make her family feel proud.

Dear friend

You are the first person whom I call to share all my happy moments, my regrets, my queries on endless things.

You surprise me with your frankness...

your confidence...

your courage....

Thank you for motivating me when I get discouraged!

Thank you for constantly urging me to remain down to earth!

The only thing that I can do you is to promise you that I'll never leave your side at any moment because I know my friend could never be wrong!!!!

I am ever grateful to you god for this precious boon!

Hurry Up!

Book Now!
"}]
We, the 21st century generation, have seen the rise of the digital age since its inception. The digital world is evolving ever so dynamically and what’s more? You have all the great applications served right up at the smartphone in your hand. To make the best use of this technology, you must realize what should be your target and how to approach it.

For a college-goer like me, it’s imperative to be connected with the world on every platform possible and be in touch with all that is happening around. And most importantly, you got to understand the complete essence of its language, English, to communicate and participate actively.

The best way to help with the English fluency is to connect to the English language as much as possible and nowadays, it's at your tips. But there’s a catch. It can be very distracting if you don't have a good resource. That’s where my favourite online forum comes to rescue.

Quora, an online question and answer forum where you can pretty much ask any question you like. It's really engaging because you get to follow specific topics of your interest, say, you might want to follow English learning topics, or maybe the topics just about life in general, or maybe something to do with sport or travel.

The beauty of this platform is that you get to follow a topic that really interests you and ultimately, you are going to get more interested in topics that suit your taste and get in the daily habit of using Quora and hopefully, learn a lot of length new words and expressions for your everyday vocabulary.

Quora is like a social network where you can actually just sign up with Facebook or Google+ accounts if you like and it's great because you can even see some of your friends on Quora. You can see some of the topics that they follow that they find interesting. You can comment on other topics which they've commented on and you can even write your own questions and share them with your friends too.

A really good thing about Quora is that they are very focused on quality. So, there's no spam, there's no advertising, and people tend to put a lot of effort into what they've written. Also, since you're only going to follow subjects that you like, you're not going to get flooded with information that's not important or not interesting for you.

For example, you may ask questions on Quora which intrigues you like, “What is the most beautiful number and why?” It is as actual post and has garnered over 300 comments. Another question, “What are some of the most mind blowing facts about India?” It has over 500 comments. This says it all.

What I personally like about Quora is that you can vote on each response. So if you think a response is really good, you can vote on it and it'll push that response to the top. So ultimately, the first of responses that you see on any posts are going to be probably the best, or at least, voted the best by other readers.

So whether you are a self-taught English learner or just someone who wants to be more immersed in the language, I’d recommend you get connected with Quora and in turn, get connected with the World. It's a great way just to have constant contact with the language.

Reading the content that you like is ultimately going to excel your English fluency and it's going to be a lot of fun at the same time.

Those discussions in the name group studies and those small masti moments behind the book racks make it a memorable place.

This is a place where a no. of so-called "important meetings" take place. For some fellows, it’s a place for a group lunch. But it becomes a hot spot during exams where students sit for revision purpose but end out doing everything other than revisions.

Personally, my favourite, not because I am studious, but because every day the way of enjoying is unique. Exchanging our homemade food with that of hostelers, leg pulling of Class Representative (CR: the unpaid servant of faculties, this is what we call), learning Telugu from class fellows and making them learn Hindi and Odia(my mother tongue), taking out double meaning in every statement that a faculty makes during a boring lecture and the list continues.......

This is how we enjoy on the campus and make ourselves blissful because our happiness doesn’t and shouldn’t depend on something. Rather, it should come from inside irrespective of where we are.

It was Sunday and I made my plans to get the best of that day. Suddenly I felt something pulling me back. And for my bad, they’re the assignments and homework. They just ruined all my hopes of enjoying the day. Then I’ve asked myself is just this how life’s supposed to be?? Are we are chained to a rhythm and forgot to dance to our own song…

I pondered how lives of many people in yesteryears was. We have seen many great inventors and explorers who didn’t chose the ordinary life, like Steve Jobs, Bill Gates, Mark Zuckerberg, Michael Jackson and countless people composed of creativity which led them to excellence.

I wondered how they enjoyed at their times without having mobile phone, television and not even social networking. Today, most of the students' go through the same thing…getting into bus.. listening to some songs on charts, going to college and writing pages of notes or at least pretending! And that’s repeated all over again with them ambuscading for a holiday.

Many successful people were not stuck with a daily routine but we’re exploring everything and experiencing the taste of surprise in life.

I feel we’re all looking through a lens with a filter! Like we’re all living in a bubble, so comfortable… not being able to see the trouble. People are being more hardworking like a program that’s supposed to do things the way it’s been instructed to rather than smartworking. That sometimes doesn’t make a difference between a man and a machine.

So let’s just jump out of our comfort zone and get to the know the world. As it’s said, an unplanned journey, though it might be terrifying for some, is still the best journey. Taking the road not taken yet, will make you a pioneer and let many others follow you.

Every person with a creative and the so called 'Out of the Box' ideas are not successful. Everyone isn’t a prodigy. Many are just like us so passionate enough but didn’t chose the right way. Be it peer pressure or social restrictions that might have stopped you. Just try to know more about turning your passion to a profession, because, only then the world would value your talent.

Whatever your dream might be, a writer, artist, fashion designer, poet, sports player, actor, political leaders or a DJ. It all takes your interest in choosing the right one. If you like travelling and meeting new people around. If your fond of adventures, go and become a travel blogger. If your love lies in listening to music and you always have a song in your head! Go people are waiting for a DJ like you. If you have a premium camera and always like to click pictures... capture not just frames but emotions through the lens and put them not just on social networks, but on photography blogs where many others will know about you.

The world has plenty of options to explore, it only takes careful attention and great imagination to make them yours.

Just know that no profession is less. Never get influenced by what people tell to let you down. Value suggestions and opinions, but remember that the decision should always be your own. Let your fears and doubts leave you and let the world see the real you. No one is the 'Chosen one!' in reality. Coz we're the one who shape our own future. So it’s you who decides what you'll be, the audience watching the show or the one who plays it.

So, friends don’t just go with the flow and bring out your passion to life. Break the chains and move the way your heart tells you to. And that would lead you something even strider. Go and chase your dreams…try to be the best and as said by eminent personalities, we ought to remember and value our ideals in every step we take on our journey.

This is for all students who aspire to achieve something really big. I wish luck to all dream chasers out there and hope they choose the right path and turn out as an inspiration for many others.

1509888191817
txt"}]
Five elements of nature had come together to create life,

The love blossomed between the Earth and the Sky;

It is but possible for the Earth to be a home of life,

So, they had no choice but to separate;

Each time the Sky is enraged,

It lets the fireball in the sky scorchingly shine--

And singe the forest with a wildfire!!!

Each time the Earth reminisces its sacrifice,

It lets the wind blow turbulently--

And wade the life into mayhem!!!

The despondence of the couple is formed as clouds,

Immense the grief, intense the rain;

For, it is the reunion of Earth and Sky!!!

The soft love of the Sky hits the Earth with harsh drops;

And the noisy drops reflect the silent love!!!

The Earth stores the love in its aquifers,

The high spirits clear the Sky;

Water, Air and Fireball gift rainbow adding colours to the love!!!!!!!
"}]
