Space has always been a very mysterious thing. All of us have been fascinated by the stars, haven't we?

Space research has been constantly reaching newer heights in our country. The Indian Space Research Organisation has indeed added another feather in the cap by its astounding achievements. After launching its hundredth satellite along with many others made by students from educational institutions, it has achieved another grand success, by launching India's first hyper spectral imaging satellite along with 30 foreign satellites.

At exactly 9:58 am on Thursday, 29 November 2018, ISRO's workhorse PSLV rocket soared from Sriharikota's first launch pad into the skies, with India's first hyper spectral satellite (HysIS), an advanced earth observation satellite and 30 other foreign satellites.

HysIS weighing 380 kg will be used for a range of applications like agriculture, forestry, soil survey, geology, coastal zones, inland water studies and detection of pollution from industries. It will also be used by military for surveillance.

Soon after the launch commenced, ISRO chairman K Sivan congratulated ISRO directors and scientists for the launch. He said," HysIS has a one-of-a-kind technology, which will be used for distinct identification of objects, materials or processes on the Earth. Only a few countries have been able to master this technology. The satellite will start sending images five days after it is launched."

Mirror Mirror on the wall who is the fairest of them all ?
I really think that we should start making stories that have real critical thinking.

Inspite of stating beauty standards and setting limits we must work on the logical storyline to eradicate the social and mental norms.

SnowWhite did not ask for an apple all she needed was her IPhone, as we are developing it is necessary to realise that stories should be made that has something concrete.

At the young age if we objectify colour as the basic standard what are we going to teach our children the very soon?

Instead stories should be made bringing out the inkling that there are no beauty limits or standards.
As the stories we have read till today continue to be read all over the world, we wont forget cinderella or SnowWhite ever.

We need to bring a change to not just show women powerful but also that it is fair and fine to be fair today.
As a writer what I believe is I will not raise my children still reading the not given parity and distinction to the gender today or the stories that just tells them that all you need is to be skin tonned.

Rather the stories that tell them they are individually beautiful and they don't have to change a thing anyway.
To the better stories we expect !

"}]

We all have the habit of saying sorry frequently, in unnecessary situations, right? We usually say “I am sorry; I am late for the class”. “I am sorry, May I ask a question?”, “I am sorry, May I know who you are?” …and so on. We have been taught since childhood to say sorry and it has become a tradition to say it even in redundant situations .

There is a great saying, "Never apologize for showing your feelings. When you do, you are apologizing for the truth."

The point is “Is your sorry sincere and genuine?” Think about it! We sometimes shower upon the smallest things in the world and leave behind the big ones.

When was the last time you apologized and you actually meant it?

At a point of time, everyone in their lives, fought with their parents, had difference of opinion with their close friends or argued with their teachers. Sometimes an issue might have been a snowflake and it turned out to be a snow ball, or it started with a discussion and eventually led to a debate or we just wander upon our own perceptions on what we have seen or heard, not knowing the other side of the coin. Most of the arguments get carried away because we don't listen to the other side and stand on our own version constantly. We've experienced it, right?

We never know what’s gonna happen tomorrow and who will continue the journey along with us? We never know the value of others till we lose them. We usually draw a small line between us and others thinking that, we are always right and that's where it all starts.

Today, we have an opportunity to say sorry, tomorrow we might not. So, I want you to say “sorry” to your loved ones, make a call or directly meet them, give them a hug ,it doesn’t take more than few secs but this time say it whole heartedly! No matter what has happened and what will. You know, the power of apology is like a win-win situation. When you apologize you win both the relationship and the situation with 100% satisfaction. “Sorry doesn’t change the past but it DOES enhance the future”. So, think about it! :)

1532882677302
txt"}]

In a pensive mood recently, I was reflecting on how our mindscape is dotted with numerous words, with a few clearly outnumbering the others. One such word that has a dominating presence and there is no denying that is of course – Perfection. How many times have we as children or students been told to achieve perfect scores, as teenagers the perfect life sans the worldly evil temptations, the perfect sculpted body, as married couples the perfect married life, be the perfect son, father, mother, brother sister, spouse and finally as old parents fit into the role of perfect grandparents, but does the list end there? In fact it doesn’t, every day we discover and add new dimensions to the word perfection. The list is endless as is its’ pursuit.

Sometimes I wonder whether perfection is closely linked to and rhymes best with aspiration, inspiration, perspiration or frustration. While I leave each of you to figure that out for yourselves I wouldn’t be wrong to say that what we all would have in common though ,would be giving in to temptation, the temptation of trying to befriend that elusive word at some time and stage of our lives.

What is ironical probably is that we ourselves are not perfect yet make attempts to point out the vices and faults of the people we interact with, are brutally judgmental and spare no efforts in pointing out their imperfections sometimes even deriving sadistic pleasure in their misery.

Each one of us is entitled to have our own yardstick to measure and judge what we count as perfect and the attempts that we have made in that direction and our distance from the finish line. I was in deep thought reflecting on my personal accomplishments so far, when suddenly, I was shaken out of my reverie by the sound of loud drum beats, which almost made me spill the coffee from the cup that I held in my hand as I sat perched on my large French window, overlooking the crowded street below.

The colorful cloud of festivity loomed large, the air was rife with revelry, crackers and loud drum beats made that once in a while welcome intrusion to the peace and quiet of the surroundings. There was something magical about Ganesh Chaturthi – The festival of the Elephant God …… “Wait, Hold on what did I say? The Elephant God? but weren’t Gods supposed to be the symbol of perfection how were the masses worshiping a deity that was in fact far removed from perfection , who didn’t look anywhere close to a perfect body, face and figure ? ’’ But magically, as I looked down and saw the huge Ganesh idol that was being welcomed with loud drum beats, singing, chanting and dancing, I was enveloped with deep respect, a flash of realization dawned on me which made me realize that there was something truly mesmerizing and heartwarming about Lord Ganesha.

txt
rich_1537339150765

Although we could never come even fractionally close to his godly stature nor have the audacity to debate the myriad reasons and explanations of why he is so loved and revered, but the moment I laid my eyes on his regal, stately idol, I was speechless by his magnificence and splendor and engulfed with a myriad emotions, overwhelmed with feelings and a deep and strong realization.

I realized that as mere mortals and individuals we could at best seek inspiration from him and accept that in our pursuit of perfection - it wouldn’t necessarily be the perfect figure, the perfect look, the perfect actions that would make us revered and welcome in society, but the attempt in seeking and drawing out the perfection in the imperfect US!

For making that perfect attempt to bring out the best in US.

What then would be the perfect attempt? In my opinion it could start as the temptation to create a perfect recipe for life by adding equal measures of aspiration, inspiration, perspiration and discarding and ruling out any toppings of frustration.

Feeling immensely empowered and enriched with this realization, I kept aside my cup of coffee which had gone quite cold by now, folded my hands, bowed my head in gratitude and mouthed the 3 magical words –“Ganpati Bappa Morya!’’ and added with a smile - “your advent into my cluttered imperfect mindscape came as the perfect cleanser and you could not have timed it more perfectly !

"}]
A seed which takes a long time to grow into a tree that gives us the shelter from brightly shining sun, has to go through a series of weather changes be it sunny ,breezy etc to grow. In the same way one is said to be grown enough if he has everything experienced but this can be concluded once a person reaches his death bed.How can you say that you are grown enough to your potential?Let me make it very clear that life is all about growing up to be an individual you dream of.So,I would say once you are in a good position means,it is a signal that you have even more chances of going to even higher stage.

If you are a CEO of any company does not matter where the company's position is,it is our prime responsibility to take it to greater heights. So be the torch bearers to start something new or else it is not always necessary to start from the starting itself it's fine if you proceed from where you have stopped and continue to proceed forward keeping a glance on the past ,guarding the present and securing the future of ours.

Finally growth is always hindered by someone as this world is jealous of some or the other person. No one reveals it ,but that that ill feeling is always making a roller coaster ride in all our minds .So don't mind them and make it a point to control your roller coaster thoughts of your mind and do the required things with utmost concentration not minding anyone's bad opinions .I am not saying to not always ignore others but have the right people to give you bad opinions about you as it makes a better impact on us .With these tips,we may grow even further stage by stage taking our own time .Finally when we reach the time to leave this world, you should be satisfied that you have outgrown to become a person everyone would never forget and of course will not blame your good actions for their liability.

Remembering the gruesome Mumbai terror attack, one of the major reasons that were quoted for the attack to wipe out so many innocent lives was the coordination between the gunmen who carried out the attack and the handlers who dished out all kinds of tactical information. Media coverage was shut off when it was clear that the intel being gathered and given out synchronously to the attackers was taken from news channels revealing the kinds of tactical force being deployed to counter the gunmen, and in which directions they were approaching the Taj hotel. The handlers used satellite phones and even Google Earth to plan the assault.

David Coleman Headley is the Pakistani American who had played the key role in the 26/11 terror attacks in 2008 by the Lashkar-e-Toiba.
The informant on the other side, Headley had made 7 visits to India and slipped under the radar of intelligence agencies. During these visits, Headley surveyed the prominently crowded parts of the city and was given the task of picking out locations for the attacks to take place. Headley primarily circled around the Taj and the Trident where he also stayed to map out the interiors.
Headley was half Pakistani and half Jewish and was born in the US. However, his family settled in Lahore soon after he was born. It was there that Headley realized he was born with the perfect disguise as he was often referred to as "Gora" or fair like the Europeans and the Americans.

Headley was brought up in a politically nascent Pakistan that was paraded with Pakistani sentiment and Islamic conversion. It was there that his mind divested into terrorism and he gained an animus motive towards India who had won the Indo-Pakistan War.
