Does failure ruin a life?
Nobody really talks about failures, do they? The kind of people that you see, you perceive as successful, seem like they can never make a single mistake. You think that they got to where they are in life without making a single mistake and without resorting to healing their wounded pride and dealing with anger before learning to calm their raging ambitions and focus them better. Because when they appear before you in all their glory, they are already on a high, and it seems they can never do wrong. You convince yourself that mistakes are something only people like you can make and not these successful people you so admire.
You are absolutely wrong.
The truth is, there is no success without failure. If you're a big believer of the dualism of man and nature, then you must believe that good cannot exist without evil, for something to be classified as good, there must exist such a thing as evil to compare it with. For you to call something successful, you need something called failure to compare with.
And, because such a thing exists, you know that you do not want to be an evil person, therefore you try to be good. You know you do not want to be a failure, so you try to be successful. Both of these things are difficult to do, because good things take time, and good things are worth that time.
And just like how a man can look at evil and reject it, you can look at your own failures and learn from it, learn to avoid making the same mistakes, learn to take personal responsibility and move on like the champion that you are. You can do it, I believe in you.
Failure doesn't ruin a life, it gives you an opportunity to reset it and move on and no matter how much you blame your peers and your conditions, the fact remains that your failures will be your personal stepping stones to success, what remains is to see if you can put your best foot forward.
"}]

As the popular meme goes, Indians become engineers first and then go about deciding what they want to do in life but the minute students are out of college, it can be an overwhelming experience, especially hunting for a job. Searching on job portals and applying for jobs or asking friends for reference and more are ways to hunt for a job but one should avoid making the following mistakes while finding a job.

txt
rich_1511266281874

1. Applying For A Number Of Opportunities:

Students commonly apply for a number of opportunities, in fact, many apply for every opportunity that they come across in the hopes of landing one job but this can be detrimental. Instead of this, one can apply for a limited number of companies and network with the potential employers after applying. That way, even if there is no opportunity at the moment, the employers will contact you when there is one. If you go on applying at a number of places, you'll lose the scope of contacting and networking with potential employers as you might lost track of where you have applied.

txt
rich_1511266508285

2. Overestimating Oneself:

This is true especially in the cases of students applying for jobs which are nowhere related to their field of study but the fields in which they would have done internships before. Many make the mistake of not applying for entry level positions considering their internship experience but it is fine. There is nothing wrong in joining in an entry level position and once you are there, you can always climb up the ranks depending on your mettle. The entry level positions are where you can get to learn a lot more and there actually is room for mistakes. You

txt
rich_1511266735449

3. Not Focussing On Communication Skills:

Many students think that having a good resume, with internship certificates and great CGPA is enough to land a job. But the employers usually don't bother looking at the resume once you are in front of them in the interview room. When you are in the interview room, focus on letting them know that you are an effective communicator and your chances of landing the job will increase exponentially. Showing off communication skills in the interview is a sure shot way of landing the job!
"}]
Petrol heads with gasoline flowing through their veins instead of blood might roll their eyes whenever someone mentions that a Lamborghini (or a Ferrari, for that matter) is their favourite car, but for once, I'm not that big of a petrolhead and secondly, despite what your opinions on Italian design is, The Lamborghini Countach is, hands down, one of the greatest cars ever made.

It is easy to forget the progress made by pioneers when you experience the design they influenced through other cars. It is no surprise then that older cars seem a little out of place and odd to the younger generations today, but it is important to remember that without older cars pioneering a certain design or technique, the implementation of that technology would not have happened in their favourite cars, which of course means that their favourites might not even exist. But I'm getting too long winded about this, so let me get to the point.

In production between 1974 to 1990 - and first displayed at the Geneva Car Show in 1971 - the Lamborghini Countach was a lot of firsts in the world of cars: it was the first time Lamborghini had not chosen the name of a bull or a variant to name their car, it was the first car to popularise pushing the engine to the back, a design that is known today as 'cab forward', it was the first car to do something that has been the wet dream of many a petrolhead for absolutely no reason except that it looks good: the doors opened upwards, and this design became a centrepiece of Lamborghini cars going forward, and also many other supercars. The design was known as Scissor Doors. It looked something like this.

Looks cool, right? Countach was also one of the first cars to popularise sharp-angled design that gave Lamborghini its trademark look and has been incorporated in many supercar since then - Ferrari's incredible F40 comes to mind - and changing the future of car design.

Everyone wanted the Countach, it looked different, the cab forward design added a sense of raw power to the car and trademark Lamborghini sound was a massive ego boost to whoever drove it, announcing to the peasant working class that their master who benefits from their work bought themselves an iconic Lamborghini, and of course, you could rely on its engine to escape the Proletariat anger, speaking of which...

The V12, mid-engine configuration engine connected to the rear wheels designed by the best minds at Lamborghini, the kind of nerds that slept with an engine block in their beds, was one of the best of it's time. V12, over 4.5k CCs (later models of the Countach would push above 5000CC) had enough horsepower in it to turn the world on its axis. It also looked something like this.

The White Countach, however, is the most recognised in this day and age, mostly because of its iconic look, and somewhat due to The Wolf of Wall Street. If you've watched the movie, Leonardo DiCaprio, who plays the role of the high flying Wall Street stockbroker and master con-artist Jordan Belfort..well, I strongly suggest you watch the movie. I'm quite partial to modern car designs, but there are some classics I will always be partial to. My next one will also be about a classic and legendary car, from a different continent this time though. Keep an eye out.

Oh and don't forget to visit the Hyderabad International Auto Show on the first weekend of December, while I don't know if they'll have the Countach on display, you can definitely see its influence on multiple cars.
"}]
When you think about it, the world is crammed with great products that we took for granted, but that were once non-existent until they were somehow dreamed up by a budding entrepreneur.

In recognition of these people you can now celebrate Entrepreneurship Day which, since its inauguration in 2010, is an annual event that honours those men and women who have very often created an empire from absolutely nothing, most of them making themselves rather wealthy in the process as well.

America is a country made of entrepreneurs. Men and women who built something from nothing. Created jobs. Made America what it is today. In many ways, the present was built by them.We can genuinely hope that the next generation of potential Walt Disneys, Bill Gates’es, Mark Zuckerbergs and Coco Chanels might be inspired to launch their business model and take the world by storm by the stories of some of the greatest businessmen and women of our time.

In 2012, President Barack Obama declared the November of that year as Entrepreneurship Month and to celebrate November 6, 2012 as Entrepreneurs’ Day. Supporters of Entrepreneurs’ Day are trying to make it an actual official US holiday that would fall on the third Tuesday of very November.

On this day, entrepreneurs are encouraged to thank mentors, give funding and advice, and spread the word about how to achieve success in business. People who are not yet successful entrepreneurs might want to read the biography of a particularly successful businessman or woman in order to inspire themselves. Groups of like-minded people, be they friends, college students or businessmen just getting their start might want to meet up to talk about the lives of some of these people, and the steps they took in their lives to become as successful as they did, conduct a sort of analysis of the person’s life and achievements.

Looking into a mirror I always say to myself that I am beautiful. Seeing at my selfies I appreciate myself for being so cute. These two things are very common things done by a girl in her teens.

But, only bothering about outer beauty is not considerable. You may look good but think bad. You may look bad but think good. But remember at the end of the day you are defined by your inner beauty but not the outer.

So, what's inner beauty?

No, it's not at all being healthy inside. It is thinking healthy. It is doing healthy works. It is being happy and making others happy or at least not being responsible for other's sorrow.

I assure, you cannot be happy by making others sad. At a moment you may be selfish and find your happiness in their sorrow but when you realize and start understanding what life is all about, you will regret my friend!

Sometimes you become rude to your beloved ones. Sometimes you may disagree with your elders.Sometimes you may hurt your close friend. But, inner beauty is apologizing to them when it is your fault. Going out of the ego and being good will not kill you.

I don't say that outer beauty is not necessary. Both inner and outer beauty play an important role in ones life.

They say beauty lies within the eye of the beholder but some are quick to judge when it comes down to how someone looks. What is beauty and what characteristics must one have to be beautiful? One definition of beauty is defined as, being physically attractive or being pleasurable to the senses.

Beauty is not comparable. In this world we live in, you either fit in or you don't people are made to believe that this is how life works. What the world teaches us today about beauty was not once taught in past generations. There are so many new factors as to what women and men must acquire in order to be considered beautiful.

Though there are different definitions for beauty, being a good human,a positive person(optimist) is my kind of beauty. I feel that, now in this generation inner beauty is one which dominates.

So, try to be yourself and do no harm to others. Then you can look into yourself and appreciate for being so good. A mirror can't define you nor a selfie. Your behavior, your character, your words, your works and your SELF defines what you are and that's what I call inner beauty.

When you have inner beauty, you are said to be BEAUTIFUL.

Google has been hitting it out of the park lately with their doodles, focused around some of pre-independence India's strongest women like Anasuya Sarabhai. Today, November 22, is the 153rd birth anniversary of another such strong woman named Rukhmabai Raut, who not only was the first practising female Doctor in India, but also a revolutionary in her own right who did not back down from any fight for every inch of her life she had to reclaim.

The story goes something like this: much like Anasuya, Rukhmabai was married off at a very young age, when she was 11-years old, to a man 8-years her senior. However, Rukhmabai refused to live with her husband, choosing instead to finish her education, a choice that she made for herself even at the tender age of 11. Today, 11-year old kids are busy beating their younger siblings to grab the smartphone and decide what YouTube video to watch.

As she became older and a legal adult in the eyes of the law, Rukhmabai came into a lot of wealth from her family, which her husband knew of and wanted to claim for himself. She was his wife, he reasoned, she owed him her wealth by the virtue of marriage alone. Except, this only served to anger Rukhmabai and resist, prompting her husband to file a case in the court to restitute the conjugal rights. So confident and angry Rukhmabai was that she took the system head on, arguing that since she was married off at the age of 11, the marriage was not legal therefore she did not have to listen to him or even acknowledge his existence.

Justice Robert Hill Piney sided with Raut's case and passed a judgement which was extremely controversial at the time, stating that Raut could choose what she wanted to do. This was seen as an attack on the Hindu way of life, and I want my sisters to remember this because everything that goes against the norm will be seen as against culture, but that does not mean it is not right.

Jail over marriage:

The problem with institutionalised sexism is that it will come back to haunt you every day. Soon, the case against her was reopened and she was given two choices, either live with her husband or spend 6 months in jail. Rukhmabai did not even hesitate to say that she would rather choose jail than to live with her husband. During this period, however, Raut had written a series of articles in various newspapers as an anonymous journalist, adopting the pseudonym 'A Hindu Lady.' The fire in the articles inspired many a person to discuss it over tea and under trees. It became the talk of the town and was a precursor to Raut's influence over Europe.

After the verdict, Raut sought out Queen Victoria who - in return for Rs. 2000 to Raut's husband - nullified the marriage and overruled the court personally. Raut was a free woman now, who then went on to study in England, choosing medicine.

The Revolution Will Not Be Televised:

Word of Raut's bravery spread through word of mouth and an article here and there throughout the British empire and Europe. She was seen as a hero who stood up against her oppressors and made the empire re-examine their stand on child marriages. In 1891, the tales of her verdict inspired the Empire to pass the Age of Consent law, which made child marriages illegal.

She then went on to study medicine at the London School of Medicine for Women between 1889 to 1894, when she returned to Surat and served as the Chief Medical Officer of a hospital till 1930. She saw India gain it's independence and breathed her last in 1955.

To women like us, she will forever be an inspiration, so remember my sisters, never ever back down.
"}]
With the advent of smartphones and the internet being in every part of our lives, it was perhaps only a matter of time before we connected with our doctors through specialised applications developed for devices that we would carry around one day in our pockets so we can instantly ask what is wrong with your health, with just a few clicks.

With the rise of smartphones and high speed internet, it has become easier to reach people even in remote places, which has allowed the rise of on-demand services, where people can sit wherever they're comfortable and reach out to doctors as per their convenience. All that was needed, then, was a platform to connect the patients to the doctors, or perhaps it was the other way around. Either way, the results are the same: Healthcare for all.

This is the vision DocOnline has, to make healthcare available to everyone at anytime, anyplace.

With DocOnline you can connect with a network of 200 highly experienced and skilled doctors at your fingertips.

With the app, you can track your appointments, access chat logs, send relevant information, and of course, your confidentiality will be strictly protected. You can also choose to chat with a doctor or go on a video call for consultation.

Justice League Movie is dark, colorful and surprisingly it has fun too. Bruce Wayne's Batman is outstanding, Ben Affleck proves why he is the best choice for Batman once again. But you may be disappointed because he used very less gadgets in this movie, that will not effect much though. Though Superman had less screen time,he manages it by kicking Steppenwolf's ass. Zack Snyder and Joss Whedon's hard work can be seen in each and every frame. Steppenwolf looks damn cool as badass villain but his character is too weak. When Superman enters into the scene villain's character goes dumb and powerless. Walking down the street, recalling my childhood memories how I actually used to enjoy the smallest things in life. As we grow older, we tend to lose interest .We usually ignore by saying, "Nah! I am too big to do those petty things" but that's our delusion!
Cool breezes hitting against my face, my fingers stuck between my curly hair as tie a high pony with velvet rubber band. I slide my hands into my pocket of Denim jeans to check the time. It's 6:45 pm and I need to reach home by 8'o clock to see MKR Australia Grand Finale.

As, I keep walking I see a little girl across the fence inside the park collecting autumn leaves on the ground so she can make a pile and jump on it. An old lady walking along with her pet dog in the park starts yelling at the little girl "Oh! You little troublesome, look at the mess you've created .Just get out of here .Shoo...shoo.... The girl replies" Oh poor lady can't even enjoy the nature. I pity you!" and calls her friends so they could jump on that pile with her. As per the lady it’s just a mess but for the little kid, that's the way of enjoying life. I smiled at them because they have their own ways of looking at things.

Crossing the road, I see a boy and girl giggling and rushing into the grocery store. People looking at them, start gossiping "Look at those young tweaks, no manners at all. How could the girl be roaming with that guy after 7 pm. Shame on them!" After a few secs, the boy is waiting outside the store with two ice-creams in his hand, shouting "Sis! The ice cream’s melting. Come Fast!" I smile again and leave to catch my train.

Waiting for my train, I find two friends meeting after a long time, talking about their lives."Stella! It's been ages since I’ve met you. Last time I’ve seen you was at our school graduation. You’ve changed a lot, got married, got a baby and your bit husky too! Hey, hold on Marie, no-one’s married and this isn't my baby too. I m just babysitting as I am too bored at home."Oh, sorry babe it's just that it's been long time that I’ve seen you and your along with a baby, so it made me think in that way."

Then, I started thinking ,"Woah! Perceptions everywhere".... Perception is just a clash of a mind and eye , the eye is believing what it sees and the mind is seeing what it believes.. As, I catch my train searching for the ticket inside my wallet. I find a quarter , as I take it out; it gave me an answer "Perception is like a two-sided coin, it’s up to us to flip to which side we wanna see." I chose mine , What about you?
"}]

#JusticeLeague is the best outcome from DCEU in the recent times. But sadly it fails to beat Batman Trilogy,Man Of Steel and Wonder Woman. This movie is a perfect reply to the haters who make fun of DC movies. Justice League Movie is dark, colorful and surprisingly it has fun too. Bruce Wayne's Batman is outstanding, Ben Affleck proves why he is the best choice for Batman once again. But you may be disappointed because he used very less gadgets in this movie, that will not effect much though. Gal Gadot as #WonderWoman as ever looks glamorous in her role and dominates everyone in the team in few scenes, and of course she saves Batman's back :p The Flash and Aquaman steals the show and evokes fun at right places. Almost all the scenes featuring Flash are hilarious. Superman's screen presence and confrontational scenes with Steppenwolf makes people go crazy. If you can avoid that one excuse then you can thoroughly enjoy the movie. The duration of the movie is also a major plus point. Justice league is a feast and big relief to DC fans after facing few disasters.
Don't miss it. You will like the movie even if you are a Marvel fan. Watch it in 3D.
"}]
