“Lifestyle” became the universal word used nowadays. People used this word for food, health, apparels and many more which includes in the living kit. The word lifestyle means the way one lives according to the rapid changes in the society. Many changes have taken place in lifestyle by introducing new trends which appeals and attracts the users and viewers. It had became a lifestyle to post every new trend of your dress or food or any other , irrespective of your age which attracts the people around you to like your post , thumbs up! Is it true ?

Well I know there will be billions who says it is true!

As lifestyle wrapped its self in almost every part of our living there are always pros and cons to this word.

As we are living in a fast pace world with so many fashion styles introduced to us in each and every minute irrespective of whether it leads us to a healthy life style. Let’s begins with food. As we all know that food makes man. Millions of years ago humans used to adopt simple staple food such as rice or wheat to satisfy his hunger. But when we look into the present we see a diverse change in our food habits. Now a days people are mostly habituated with junk and food additives and these decorative foods appeals for eyes with its color, texture etc but not for stomach. For example now a days we see reporters reporting a celebrity’s family occasion of his daughter’s wedding in a grand way by cutting a glittery wedding cake which costs nearly 1 crore or more.

As the edible glitters are made up of sugar, Acacia, Maltodextrin , corn starch and color additives specifically approved for food use, including mica based pearlescent pigments and FD and C colors etc. These are poisonous and it causes gastrointestinal problems. These glitters are only used for decoration as it contains some of the metallic elements and also having high amounts of Maltodextrin which causes Crohn’s disease, Diabetes, blood pressure etc and people labelled it as the creativity in food!!.

Now let’s comes to tea, one of the beverages we drink every day. As we have heard about green tea, black tea, rose tea etc in different colors with strange names. Some of them are healthy while some others deteriorate our health . Green tea is good for health as it has properties which improves our immune system, reduces the fat etc . Black tea also has many good benefits like mental alertness , preventing heart diseases and Ovarian diseases reducing the symptoms of Parkinson’s disease etc but excessive consumption leads to Diabetes, Glaucoma, Seizures etc as black tea has caffeine in it. Rose tea too has many good benefits like it fights against acne and makes the skin glows ,boost collagen , reduces anxiety but excessive consumption leads to diarrhea, nausea etc. There are many food items produced this way which only attracts us but not to our health!!!

Most of the food items we eat spoil our health as we are manufacturing them in an unhealthy and unhygienic manner. As people becoming more and more fashionable about food, the wellness impact is often overlooked. I sometimes wonder what will happen in the future where all the food produced in a creative and attractive way to our eyes but not to satisfy our hunger.

Let’s us move on to apparels. Lifestyle brought a tremendous change in this part. One attires himself or herself in the way the media displays it. Is it true? One wants to wear a dress which is similar to the ones wore by the models. The traditional form of apparels lost its glory due to the modern and fashionable dresses. It has now became common misconception that modern apparels are user friendly than the traditional attire. So your “lifestyle includes how you live , eat , emote and think that determines your health and life. To prevent any disease, you may have to change how you live.” We’ve paid no heed to the words of our elders and thus we have chosen the worst path which destroys our future and identity. “To me, clothing is a form of self expression – there are hints about who you are in what you wear” ,Says Marc Jacobs.

So “A healthy lifestyle not only changes your body, it also changes your mind, attitude and mood.”

"}]
One fine day, the universe sent me a gift. A well crafted one, I must say. It had some conditions to it. I cannot open it at my whim. I'd need scissors. Scissors of Time to open it. So, till I got my hands on the blades, I kept the gift with me.
I kept the gift to myself, trying to figure out what it could be. I shook it sometimes, placed my ear near it to guess what could be hidden beneath those layers. Sometimes, I'd look at it very attentively, from all possible angles, guessing what these folds could be keeping from me.
In my heart, I was quite sure that the universe would give me what I truly desired. I knew it.
I looked and looked and grew habituated to it, familiar with it.
I used to sleep with it on my side, hoping to find it unwrapped the next morning, hoping for Time to do its magic.
And one fine morning, it did. The present was still a present. Wrapped, but in a different wrapper. The old one, neatly folded, yet now looked a bit paler.
I had a new wrapper to look at. It was different, interesting, provoking. It made me guess new guesses. What could be inside of this?

I was occupied, again.
I still knew that it would have what I always wished for.
And days went by, and it happened again. And again, and again. Layer after layer. Every time, there was something new to look at, to explore.
One would think that why would I keep a gift that didn't, couldn't be revealed. Well, I wondered for a while too. The gift warmed my insides. It gave me joy, it gave me hope. It tormented me too, but was it at fault?

It was my gift. A secret present. A secret that this universe has handed me without telling me what it was. And I was happy. It was my gift.
I had seen many layers, but now this one, this one seemed to be the last. It should have been. It could have been, it must have been.
I do not know, because the morning that I thought I'd find out was the morning that it was no longer my gift. The universe had apparently lent it to me, and it took it away.

I do wonder sometimes. Was I ever close to what my gift wanted me to be?
"}]
Ok promise! I Will be there at sharp 10!

Ok promise! I won't tell this to anyone.

Ok promise! I will be there by your side.

Ok promise! I will put my whole efforts for this to be a success!

We listen and use this word 'PROMISE' more frequently than it should. Youth is forgetting the meaning of a promise or a bond!

Be it a relationship, partnership, friendship or just a random promise. What responsibilities does it bring?

This is one of the most valuable quality we all as a good soul should possess that is "keeping our words" as far as possible.

How does it affect lives?

Thinking about the changes and effects of our decision "on our" lives will make it less prominent to be wrong a decision?

Absolutely!

Most of us do this in our lives, not a new thing.
But do we think how our decisions will affect "someone else's" life? Not all of us do this every time I guess!

Thinking about people who will get affected by our decisions is important. Do we like punishments for someone else's mistake?

No.
It's believed that there's something called KARMA.
"The amount of sorrow is fixed in the society, it just transfers from one soul to other. The more we think of passing it the more it will stick to us."

That's how karma works. What we will put into the society, we will be getting the same out of it.

txt
rich_1537173556688

For example signing an agreement with a company. The company desires good and smart work and automatically you get paid according to your efficiency. The same works in a bond with a friend or someone you promise to be there by their side in their ups and downs. Their belief is the condition of agreement not to be broken.

"Promises brings belief. Belief brings mutual efforts. And mutual efforts needs consistency." Mutual efforts is what brings satisfaction. And when one leaves the effort it starts paining both the parties and here where the karma starts doing it's work. Time and effort deserves to be respected. Karma spares no one.

So we should think twice before we promise something officially or unofficially. This brings up a quality of making correct decision in our life and makes us safe from putting our time for temporary deals and it's effects. So we should think as a society and put ourselves in other's shoes before taking a decision. No one deserves to be sad for our mistakes.

Like and support if you think we should be more responsible with our words. Hope you like the choice of the topic and may you have a blissful life ahead!

Taking forward a legacy of well over 40 years of jubilant celebration of the arts, music, creativity and global culture; Festember, the largest inter-collegiate cultural festival of South India has never failed to surprise, intrigue and inspire. At the age of 9 the only thing I know is to bother about nothing. I could fart in public without fear. See, there is always fight between heart and mind. Following heart gives us happiness and mind gives us success. There is a difference!

People think losing passion is losing nothing. But losing passion is losing your own self. Money alone does not give us happiness. While in the process of earning we lose our attitude. Wealth gives us happiness and wealth comes only when you follow your heart, passion and belief of brighter tomorrow.

In today’s world folk dream about one thing, do something and become another thing. The main difference between a successful and a normal person is, a successful man trusts himself which a normal man cannot. That is why he bothers about what others think. So finally never hold anything in your stomach. Fart in public and throw away the shit.

There’s nothing wrong.

Cheers:)
"}]
There is no other choice left, we are already in the game.
We definitely don't have any idea about what is going to happen tomorrow.
Life is a crazy ride folks. Atleast it is for sure ,an adventure for me.
No one can promise tomorrow.

Well, let me tell you, when I was a kid , I was very careless . Well I had to change myself when I was in high school.
From then , I was really busy in my life. studies ,exams, results, placements etc etc.

I was chasing my life and really at a point of time I forgot to enjoy the things I do.

It wasn't me and maybe I started missing myself..
I was not happy with the things I was doing .I was not happy with my engineering, I was not happy with my studies. I was not happy with anyone.
I started crying secretly everyday by locking myself in washroom.
I felt like an automaton, having no feeling .
It was very difficult to overcome that situation.

And I definitely don't say that I won't go through such phase again. I definitely can't promise that .

But what can I do ? What should I do..?

Just few days ago, I went to a road trip.
I was in my village and was coming back to city.

I just looked out of the window and what I saw was a clear beautiful sky with full of stars.
I really felt very good and at that moment I felt like I just need a rooftop to sit and stare the stars till my last breath.

Well, this may look like a dramatic speech but I really felt like I was soo busy in life that even I forgot to enjoy the moment. I was behaving as if tomorrow was promised for me.

I'll definitely put all my efforts to live the every moment I'm pretending to live.

Enjoying the every little thing is what makes me happy.

''Twinkling Stars in the sky,
A thankful smile on the elder's face when someone help them.
And a small act of kindness .''

This is what makes us feel alive .
All I want to say is , never lose yourself because only you have the capability to keep your self happy and others too.

Help the world to be a better place by keeping yourself happy.

"}]

Whether it's the structure of your body, marks you and others got, the clothes someone wear, the way someone talk, the language someone master, music tastes, attitude or family. We compare each and everything, ain't we?
What we forget is -
"Comparison brings depression, realisation brings changes. "

Right from the day 1 of college, we face a lot of struggle to make a tiny circle around which should consist of people who are like us and will help us in the curriculum and even in other situations. But we make a mistake because we don't choose people like us but we starts mixing with people whose lifestyle appears to be perfect and like whom we want to live at that current point of life.

A Mistake!

This will lead to nothing but self suppression. It's a human tendency that we compare and be compared by others at some point of our lives. Choosing of a wrong circle or say people who aren't like you will lead you to think that you are somewhere behind the world and that leads to anxiety and depression which is becoming the main cause of depression among college pupils.
Can you compare the grades of papers of two different subjects or two different years.

I guess no!
Similarly assume your lives and struggles as a question paper, you get grades for yourselves. How can you compare them with others?

They have different syllabus (they have different sufferings ), they have different subjects (different situations) and moreover they aren't You! Here is a small key that helps me; hope it will help you too :-
(These points are kind of life saver guys)

1. You are one of your kind.

2. Compare your results with your previous one.

3. Analyse how much growth is there.

4. Stay with people who help you grow as a person, motivate you to come out of problems rather making you feel that problems are life.

5. Know that no phase of life is permanent, if you are sad out of something now, you will get happiness out of something soon.
(Are you still sad cause of your previous year grades ? I guess no! You may feel affected but you can't remain gloomy cause of one thing for your whole life, no matter what the situation is.)

6. Eat healthy and only thing you need to compare is how much hard-work are you doing.

7. Try your best, celebrate small happiness and best will come to your address.

8. Laugh more and cry when you feel like. Don't suppress your emotions.

9. Don't feel sorry about who you are.

10. Behave politely but don't get fooled.

Life isn't about problems, it's about tackling with those problems .
May everyone's life becomes a bless in whichever way they choose to live.

Being a baby we all get pampered, but in India, transgenders lack the love and care soon as they enter this beautiful world which apparently doesn't seem equally beautiful to them. Family starts abandonment and even boycott them as they grow up. This starts with the hiding of their truth about being a Transgender. Imagine how bad it feels when your mother lies about your marks and calls you a topper infront of the neighbours when you know you got in 70s. ( 70s is your capability) They feel same way when their parents start hiding their truth as this is a stamp over their reality that isn't accepted in the society. In worst cases, honour killing right after birth is also seen abundantly in India.

They are thrown out of their homes to roam around the city without their faults just cause they got a different sexuality which in my view should be treated with more delicacy. And moreover for whatever they become on the roads they Survive. People fear by their appearance and way of living. But if you look carefully they got the same character of a roadside normal begger injected with some anger cause their situation isn't cause of their fault which seems obvious to me.

Even government gave a 3rd category in gender for them; still they are being neglected by the companies and educational centres.

Lesbian and gay concept is still assumed to be a myth in India by 60 percent of it's adult population. They think it's the lack of correct education while the truth is totally opposite. It's biologically proven that there's a difference in hormonal secretions between gays and males. (Same with lesbians ).
If there is an agreement of feelings within two people, I think nobody got a right to stop them from being sexually attatched or for marriage. It's against the right to freedom in the fundamental rights section.

They are being differently and horribly treated by most of the Indian population which needs to be changed. Like negligible opportunities for education and good living styles like jobs and pensions.

Though in 2009 Indian govt. Included the " others " section with females and males still the concept isn't followed properly. Legalization of gay sex and unconstitutionalization of act 377(made actually by britishers) is one of the most revolutionary decisions of Indian govt.

But as we the youth knows that the change in papers makes no big changes in the society but it's the mind, the harmony and the teamwork needed to change the society.
A Discriminationless India is a key to criminalless India.
Equal opportunities makes it productive.

Like and share if you like it :)
May the youth live a blissful life!

txt
From a school going kid to an old man, from a great artist to a small tailor, from a highly professional interior designer in a metropolitan city to a carpenter in a village everyone uses pencil in their day to day lives.
Pencil has became a routine thing in our lives. After using we simply throw it aside without knowing how much years it will take to degrade. Not one or two it takes more than 10 years for a pencil to degrade.
It is said that from one tree on an average 2,500 pencils are made. Per year 100 crores of pencils have been manufactured in India. For manufacturing of pencils large number of trees have been cutting down. It leads to ecological imbalance.
So taking this into consideration pencils made with recycled newspapers have been coming into market. Generally for manufacturing pencils two small round shaped woods are used and graphite is kept in between them. But here recycled paper is wounded so that it not only increases the quality but also it gives grip to our hand while writing. If we plant Pencils made with different flavors of fruits in soil, it rises into a plant there.
