I had a female role model to look up to starting in middle school, who ignited my dream of becoming a Software Engineer! <\/p>My aunt, Mrs. MADHU BHASHINI, Vice President at Intellect Design Arena Ltd,<\/b> one of my role models in life, settles down onto the couch, she reminisces her experiences over a cup of coffee. She seems as though she was remembering a dismal time in her life, but one would soon discover that her woes were only because of the challenges that she had to overcome throughout her time back in the past. <\/p>Her childhood dream was always to become a software engineer and so she got a seat in an engineering college located at Medak, but the family did not agree to let her travel for such a long distance, so she joined DCCP course which was completely related to commerce and has no relation to do with the technical stuff! She was disappointed at the beginning but managed to motivate herself and excelled in that particular course too, and so she was appointed as an apprentice and started her career with an earning of Rs.500 at the age of 18 itself!! <\/p>Later on at the age of 19, she joined as a stenographer but her aim was always to do a job that is related to PROGRAMMING, so there was only one post that was available for the position of a programmer for which they need to crack an exam along with which they need to have an experience of 1 year in any other post...as soon as she completed her one year of service, she attempted the exam and got the promotion to a programmer first and officer next. <\/p>She never had any zeal towards cracking a government job, but as insisted by her father she just gave a try to the exam and was able to crack a job in Life Insurance Corporation(LIC) without any preparation as she has that inherent math ability in her and so she joined it as the circumstances forced her to do so but yet having only one aim in the mind to get into the software industry... <\/p>Meanwhile, working for the LIC company she completed her B.COM, M.COM(from Osmania University) and also completed her MBA, MCA(from IGNO University), she is well versed with 3 PG'S, then she was all capable of becoming a software engineer as she was very well versed with the languages of those time such as COBOL, etc., She also took a break of 40 days from her job and learned all other languages like ORACLE and developed her technical skills. <\/p>Due to her extreme ability to deal with technology, she made a decision: TO WORK THE LIFE OF THE COMPUTER AND THE CUBICLE and leave aside any other field. Then she started appearing for the interviews posting her CV in some websites and finally, the Turning Point of her life came- she was selected for the post of BUSINESS ARCHITECT in SATYAM COMPUTERS, her happiness had no bounds and from there on it was all an exponential graph of her career and no looking back, everything was a stepping stone for her success till date. <\/p>Later on, she worked for HCL TECHNOLOGIES as DEPUTY GENERAL MANAGER and then shifted to CAPGEMINI and worked as DIRECTOR and presently she is working for the INTELLECT (Polaris) company as VICE PRESIDENT. <\/p>She was always the front runner for social welfare works. She's currently the Hyderabads' Chapter Head of ULLAS trust which mainly aims at encouraging government school students by conducting some competitions and offering scholarships for the winners as well as helping them improve their self-development skills! <\/p> <\/p>"},{"type":"img","id":"img-uid-1586798438812","data":"5e94a565dd80d"},{"type":"txt","id":"rich_1586798438813","data":"*MOST IMPORTANTLY* <\/p>\nShe never misuses her power, she's strictly abided by her work ethics and is very loyal and honest towards her work. She is always a great support for diligent and never encourages illegal or unethical activities. Everyone can visualize her success today but there are very few who could see the adversities she faced to reach such great heights in her life.<\/p>She believed she could so she did.\n\nShe is driven by the motto- The things you do for yourself are gone when you are gone, but the things you do for others remain as your legacy.<\/i><\/p>The advice she would like to pass on to the present engineers is<\/b>: Every successful human being started their career as a fresher. You just have to sow two seeds - Determination and Passion \u2013 you will fulfill your \u2018Will\u2019. Remember, your Passion awards your Recognition!!<\/p>"},{"type":"img","id":"img-uid-1586798438814","data":"5e94a5852d372"},{"type":"img","id":"img-uid-1586798438816","data":"5e94a59c4e51c"},{"type":"txt","id":"rich_1586798438815","data":" Key points that we can draw from her life that will go a long way throughout our lives:<\/b><\/p>* Even if you are forcibly put into something that you don't like, still try to excel in it as it may help us somewhere in the coming future. <\/p>* When a person can start her career at the age of 18 during the time where technology hasn't bloomed up yet, what are we supposed to do when we are living in a world where there is no end to gadgets and gizmos on the platter! <\/p>* Never get disappointed if you couldn't end up following your passion, just wait for your time to come(Springtime is always a celebration whether it comes early or late) <\/p>* Don't ever try to quench your thirst for achieving something big in life, with what you have at the present! <\/p>* However successful you may be, never forget your ethics and moral values of life.<\/p>* Learn to be brave and confident that we women are no less compared to men and we can equally compete with them in each and every profession but always \"sail through your hardships smiling\".<\/p>We delight in the beauty of the butterfly, but rarely admit the changes it has gone through to achieve that beauty. There is no shortcut to Success; one has to Strive, Thrive, Achieve and Revive (continue to be a STAR).  <\/p>"}]
