Ideas take birth every second everywhere, but very few of them pass the test of time.

Recognizing the importance of these ideas at the right time and placing them in the bigger picture can make all the difference. We, at the Indian Institute of Management, Kozhikode understand this and wish to create a platform where these ideas get a chance to breathe and grow.

E-Cell is proud to organize the fifth edition of the Annual National Entrepreneurship Event of IIM Kozhikode, "Start-O-Sphere" supported by IIMK LIVE, a business incubator of the institute. This event is one of the biggest meet-ups of startups and investors in south India aimed at supporting startup founders by providing networking, mentorship, and fundraising opportunities. This event will not only provide a golden opportunity to the budding entrepreneurs but will also allow students to learn more about the burgeoning world of start-ups right from the horse’s mouth.

The summit will see a host of activities ranging from a Startup & Investors connect where investors share what they see while investing to mega-events like Start-Up Fair in which only selected 40 startups from across India are invited to IIMK Campus to setup Stalls and present their idea to the investors and IIMK community. Followed by Pitchers in which the top startups shortlisted by Investors during startup fair get a chance to pitch, negotiate, and get funded. Furthermore, events like Bouncer extend an opportunity to the budding entrepreneurs to bounce their idea/business model to 'industry gurus' and seasoned IIM K professors and thus refine their approach. Along with this, a full-day hands-on workshop on entrepreneurship covering almost all aspects of starting up a business makes Start-O-Sphere a complete package for any entrepreneurial enthusiasts

The last edition of Start-O-Sphere was a success with more than 250 startups competing out of which the best ones made their pitches and showcased their innovative products to about 25 VC and angel investors considering them to fund. The next edition which will be the 5th Edition is poised to become bigger and better with an estimated potential investment fund base of about three crore rupees combined.

stuMagz has been working with the student community for a little more than four years now and in these four years, we have been striving hard to ensure we bring out a perfect platform for students. As a part of this, stuMagz also aimed at building a platform where students and colleges can perform all the college related functions at one place.

In this process, we came across Truaglo, a Hyderabad based product and a unit of Hamzek Solutions Pvt. LTD. TruAglo is an interactive platform where students can keep track of all the static information related to the college and also communicate with the college officials. It also analyses students’ interests and regulates the content and information accordingly. It is completely integrated and cloud-based application suite for educational institutions which adds value to all the stakeholders involved.

After realising that we are in sync with what Truaglo aims to do and more, stuMagz has decided to acquire Truaglo and we are proud to announce that Truaglo is now a part of stuMagz.With this acquisition, stuMagz is on the way to achieve a complete digital campus ecosystem, enabling every college to become a digital campus.
"}]

Prime Minister Narendra Modi interacted with students, teachers and parents on Monday and share "valuable tips" with them to ensure they take the upcoming board and entrance exams in a relaxed manner.

The third edition of Pariksha Pe Charcha is being organised at Talkatora Indoor Stadium in Delhi. Addressing the audience of about 2000 students and teachers, Narendra Modi spoke at length on how to overcome fear of exams and said, "Students should not be afraid of failure and take it as a part of life. I was told I shouldn't attend Chandrayaan landing as there was no guarantee of success but I needed to be there.

Expressing his thrill at getting to interact with students, he said, "As Prime Minister one gets to attend numerous types of programme. Each of them provides a new set of experiences. But, if someone asks me what is that one programme that touches your heart the most, I would say it is this one."

He also advised parents to not push their children by saying, "Parents should take time out to find out what their children want to do instead of pushing them into activities that are considered glamorous which they can discuss in their conversations with their friends."

An important point that he said in the event was on how marks are not everything, saying "Good marks in exams are not everything. We have to come out of the thinking that exams are everything and also realise that extra-curricular activities are equally important," adding, "Not pursuing an co-curricular activities can make a person like a robot. Yes, this would require better time management and will teach students time management. Today opportunities are many and I hope youngsters make use of them."

In the run up to ''Pariksha Pe Charcha 2020'', lakhs of students, parents and teachers shared their inputs and suggestions which are extremely valuable, giving insights into the pressing issues when it comes to exam preparation, the exam itself and the time after examinations and about 1000 students were selected to be a part of the event through an essay writing competition involving five topics - Gratitude is Great, Your Future Depends on Your Aspirations, Examining Exams, Our Duties, Your Take, and Balance is Beneficial.

Narendra Modi also took several questions from students and answered them.
"}]
FAMILY CASE -

Parents in their offices, grandparents in old-age homes, kids in day-care centers or in their schools. This is the situation of few families these days. This could be a quite common scenario in forthcoming years if we, the youngsters don't caution ourselves before hand.

Parents don't have adequate amount of time to spend with their children or to look after the senior citizens but will never think in an efficient way which could make their lives simple and easier. Family is where children learn morality and life skills. They need to be brought up with moral values. Elderly ones are the best teachers of moral values. Their life-experiences are a very good lessons. Both kids and elderly ones can help each other. This is the case where morality comes live before our eyes.

STUDENTS AND EMPLOYEES CASE -

In the world crammed with global issues like corruption, terrorism, global warming, pollution, wars, violence, safety and security, I consider time scarcity, laziness and idleness to be a few among them. People of the world are either too busy with their bustling way of life or too lazy which in turn results into the state of being idle. Ironically, both the issues are going with equal magnitude in human lives.

The present hysteria is not an obligation but our choice. We ourselves have chosen to be preoccupied with work or thoughts regarding something. It's something we've chosen , if only by our acquiescence to it. The overflowing thoughts are one of the reasons for being so impatient. We are preferring instant results to sustainable ones. The busy way of lifestyle has both pros and cons. Busyness serves as a kind of existential reassurance, a hedge against emptiness or idleness , obviously ones life cannot possibly be silly or complicated or meaningless if they are busy and completely reserved for every hour of the day. We stopped spending time for ourselves. We not only stopped thinking for the welfare of the society but also ourselves. We are attending classes for realizing our own strengths and weaknesses. Our busy-schedule begets many mental traumas like

-> Anger.

-> Mental Stress.

-> Depression.

-> Medical imbalances like health issues.

-> Impatience.

-> Tiresomeness and fatigue.

-> Lack of peace in mind and heart.

-> It can also result in problems related to obesity due to lack of physical exercises.

People are becoming mechanical these days. Perhaps the world would soon slide down to get ruined if everyone gets busy. Few are idle too.We must concentrate on what we wanted to be in the near future. I can't help but wonder whether all this histrionic exhaustion isn't a way of covering up the fact that most of what we do doesn't matter. Few are being pressurized by the society but it is important to realize our strengths and aim for a cause. I agree,Our life shouldn't be a happening. It's supposed to be for a cause.Be it morally, economically or environmentally, it's equally important to take care of the society because we humans are the ones who are responsible to rebuild it.

Even children got to be busy these days with their classes leaving about half-an-hour a day to relax. They come home at the day as tired as grown-ups. It's not only just adults who are busy but also adolescents, and children too. We stopped spending our time with our families and society. It's important to do something progressive for ourselves but it's equally important to assure that humanity lives in the human race. So, we need to help the society. You might be over-whelmed thinking how is this possible and how can all these things be done with barely some time in hand. It's important to teach ourselves that it can never happen if it won't start now. The work started is half-done. We have to allocate sometime in our 24 hour clock for ourselves and our families. It's important to be peaceful, calm and relax for sometime. Relaxing doesn't mean spending time in watching TV , Instagram, Facebook or any other social media. Meditation is one such habit which can stabilize your mind. Be more with yourself. This can help you in many things like developing your strengths, working to minimize your weaknesses etc.,

Each of us have our own life lesson to share. Those life lessons you have learned matters and have the potential to guide the life or others.

Some of the most important lessons in life that people learn the hard way

1. Walk your own path. people like to judge other people. Don't let someone else's goal and dream influence your vision of life.

2. Don't hesitate when you should act. Whenever you feel its time to act, take action.

3. Experience what you have learned.

4. Good things don't come easy.

5. Live and let live. We often try to help people when we see they're making a mistake. Don't force your ideas on others, let those how want your help seek you out. Sometimes its best to stay away and let them come to you.

Life is a continuous learning experience. Throughout our lives, we keep learning up some important lessons along the way. Some of the lessons come from experience and the other we learn from watching others or reading books. There are many life lessons that we simply cannot learn until we face certain situation in our life.

The world we live in requires constant improvement, which may sometimes be very stressful. Self-improvement is a lifelong process for a better and happier life. The self-improvement process includes inner change, self-growth, adopting a positive mindset, getting rid of negative habits and acquiring positive habits.

If you focus on self-improvement it won’t only help you become a better version of yourself. Since self-improvement makes you learn new skills and qualities, it may also improve both your personal and professional life and open up a world of new opportunities.

Take note of one positive moment every day. Noticing the positive things that happen in our everyday life has been proven to be a successful method of increasing your positive thinking.
"}]
Not everyone in this world has the fate to cherish the fullest form of LOVE. Some are born just to experience the abbreviation of it.

I too had a love story by Ravinder Singh is the real-life love story that seems to have struck a chord in the hearts of the readers across the country, by making it a national bestseller. This book remained in the best-seller's list in India even after 6 years of its publication. So, just thought of giving a review about this book as it was one of the simple, pure and innocent love story I have come across so far...

It is the narrative journey of Ravin meeting Kushi in a matrimonial site where two strangers become great lovers. The author was successful in making readers able to understand the depth of their relationship by mentioning their lively conversations, feelings, and emotions. Tears and smiles they shared together, throbbing curiosity to meet each other for the first time, impatiently waiting for phone calls, little surprise gifts and late-night conversations make it a read-till-finish book. To keep the reader's entertained writer adds on a bit of humor throughout the story but when both of them convince their parents and are ready to get engaged and start a new life together, Kushi meets with an accident and her death leaves Ravin shattered. The words that the author has chosen to describe that particular situation will surely leave tears in your eyes at some point in time. The writer sums up the essence of his story by appealing terms such as "She died. I survived. Because I survived, I die every day".

My perception is that this is an awesome book, simple yet capturing story without lavish or extravagant stuff. Due to some incidents that have been occurred in the story, it may look fictional or dramatic but it's a real story perfectly illustrating the fact that not every love story has a happy ending, some love stories remain incomplete but immortal and Ravinder Singh has made his first love Kushi remain alive and immortal in people's heart.

If you are looking for a simple, honest and pure love story this is a worth reading book!

"}]
